Since we have celiac disease and rarely find gluten-free snack bars with fries where nothing else is fried, we are grateful to have found a friendly waitress here who immediately knows what she's doing, without giving us strange looks ❤️🍀

You can do it; the fries are okay. The high price probably has something to do with the location. We also attribute the complacency of the service to the location; the Hexenwaffel has no competition in the immediate vicinity.

The fries were edible. But when I asked which sausage they used because there was no bratwurst at the stand where they serve currywurst, I declined, as they only serve Bockwurst instead of bratwurst with the curry sauce. An older gentleman working there then told me, "Then they'll have to stay where they come from if they don't like it." I wasn't unfriendly or disrespectful in any way. So I don't understand the reaction. EDIT: I didn't make any derogatory remarks about the currywurst. I just told my brother-in-law that a currywurst for me would be made with bratwurst. I just don't like Bockwurst. Only the employee (or owner) was disrespectful, insulting, and... I'm afraid to say it: racist. By the way, I'm not from the Rhineland (that was his assumption). Appropriate response? Racism? I don't know...

The bratwurst was great😁 Of course, the friendliness of the bratwurst owner took some getting used to, especially if you're not from Baden🤣 The price was also perfectly reasonable. There was even an opportunity to ride a pony🤔 Apart from the bratwurst, we didn't have anything there since we still wanted to go to the viewpoints and the Hexentanzplatz😅 It was very busy, though. However, it closed quite early (we arrived around 5 p.m. to catch the train back down)🤔 It was a good Sunday, maybe that's why. All in all, a solid snack bar, at least for the one we used😅

Both the main courses (especially the cheeseburger) and the waffles (I love them with applesauce and cream) are very tasty and offered at fair prices.

Never experienced such stupidly cheeky staff. The one with the ponies and the bratwurst seller is simply cheeky.

Ouch, someone here doesn't really want tourists. 😅 A little tip, maybe change industry. The waffles are really good, but they don't console the bad feeling that the staff is totally annoyed. Then it's better to walk a few meters further.

The tastiest waffles around, if you like something a little heartier you will also get your money's worth, from bratwurst, burgers, stew to the classic currywurst fries, no wish is left unfulfilled. The staff is always very friendly and available for a little chat.

It takes ages to get the waffel, just for it to taste like cardboard. Even the « sugar and cinnamon » taste like nothing.

The weapons without taste! Without the tons of powdered sugar it just doesn't taste like anything. Friendly "staff" but dirty benches and tables.

Classic snack bar on the Upper Selketal to the Hexentanzplatz. Whether bockwurst or currywurst, the prices are very fair. Had a waffle and drinks. Friendly service and the waffle was delicious!

Very tasty waffles and perfectly grilled sausages. My respect for the gentleman at the grill, who answered directions from inquiring visitors almost every minute with peace of mind.... 😅

Yesterday we ate bratwurst at the grill (entrance to the snack bar). The unfriendliness was hard to beat; customers are not welcome here. The bratwurst wasn't fully grilled yet, but was sold. Maybe there should be an introduction, topics would be: 1. How do I deal with customers and why do I need them? Maybe they'll bring the money that the Bratwurst Man lives on. He doesn't know. 2. What do I do with the bratwurst so that the customer is satisfied and the animal doesn't die in vain. 3. How do I ensure a pleasant atmosphere for customers during work breaks? These would be simple and sales-increasing points that this “seller” would have to learn and implement. However, I don't trust him to be able to work in a customer-oriented manner 🤔🤨

Phew, it's difficult to pay 5 euros for a "normal" bratwurst given the quality and service...

My children really enjoyed the waffles! The burger was great, the currywurst too! The plate was empty within minutes!!! Very nice owners too! Would recommend it!!!

The worst waffle and coffee I have ever had….

The waffle was totally salty, not sweet at all and didn't taste good. In addition, the coffee was totally watery and the currywurst stand closed shortly before 5.

I was very happy that the waffle bakery was still open. Due to the current major renovation of the Hexentanzplatz, it was a little adventure to get there. But in the end I was rewarded. I'll be back.
