Very nice and fast service, pleasant atmosphere and very tasty food. It took 15 minutes from ordering to serving.

Direct hit...our first visit, a complete success. The guest room in the entrance was completely full. We smell the fireplace in the room, no problem. Short waiting time because the waitress didn't know that the colleague had placed us there. But now...super nice, fast service and advice. There is a changing GDR map. There were already two dishes out. For me a sign of quality. No problem, our choice had already been made. We didn't know anything about the extra card. The food was delicious and nicely prepared. Very good portion sizes. Absolutely recommended! Great cuisine and great staff. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Always a worthwhile visit! Nice service, good food, fast service! Here again after four years and again more than satisfied. Fast friendly service! Water was offered for my dog ​​and people were very welcoming. The schnitzel with Harz cheese was delicious. Also very satisfied with my next visit. I'll be back.

The solyanka was tasty but it could have been a ladle more. Unfortunately there was no slice of bread or a small roll with it - but it wasn't on the menu either. Given the small amount, that would have been a nice gesture. Afterwards there was the baked potato (2) with herb quark and a salad. They were good. Overall okay, prices relatively high, service was nice.

We had a very nice visit to the restaurant. The service was very friendly, very attentive and quick. We needed some advice when choosing a meal, but that wasn't a problem for our friendly waitress. Starter soup: Tomato sauce and solyanka, both very tasty and well balanced with spices, main course: Scampi with dip and salad, served with bread with a light Cilly dip, great. Breaded schnitzel with Harzer cheese and fried potatoes, also super tasty. Dessert: yeast dumplings Plus a freshly tapped beer. What more could you want? To be on the safe side, I didn't count the calories.

When it comes to service, quality, friendliness and availability, it is the best address in Thale.

We were there for Christmas dinner on December 26th with 6 people. My grandma is in a wheelchair and had a great place. You could choose between 3 courses and you have to say that for the price-performance ratio, the portions were super large and tasty. We were served very quickly and friendly and that brings us to a very important point - our waitress was a young woman with red and black curls - she was so friendly and attentive and not the least bit intrusive. She even brought cookies for our grandma because of her sugar. I haven't had such friendly and loving service in a long time, despite the holidays. As we walked out we thanked them for the great service! We have reserved directly for 2025 and are already looking forward to it!

We have reserved a table especially for Christmas Day. I was so disappointed. The ambience is similar to a cold train station hall, no decorations or quiet Christmas background music. I had a fish dish and it was so underwhelming and completely overpriced. My husband had lasagne, this portion was quite manageable, but the price was higher. We were still hungry after this meal and went to a very good Italian restaurant. We should have done it straight away 🤷🏼‍♀️

The food was good but expensive. We didn't feel particularly welcome. The service is impersonal, the atmosphere is like a train station. Very uncomfortable. .

Excellent service and festive food at the Gasthaus Zum Wasserriesen On Boxing Day I had a great feast at the Gasthaus Zum Wasserriesen. The duck with red cabbage and dumplings was perfectly cooked, as were the ox cheeks with pumpkin mashed potatoes and broccoli, which were tender and flavorful. What was particularly noteworthy was the attentive service. Despite being at full capacity, the staff took care of every detail - from an extra board for the wheelchair user to children's chairs. It was a completely successful visit with excellent food and very personal service.

The food was tasty, although not as hot as you would expect from venison goulash or roulade. The taste was good. No Christmas atmosphere, coziness is missing. Some of the staff were inattentive, maybe it was because of the time just before Christmas and their own inner attitude. The staff was friendly in any case.

We had the game goulash, Harz cheese as a starter and half duck. The staff is super-nice. The food is homemade, of very good quality and consistently delicious. Nothing here tastes like a finished product. The prices are reasonable and fair. Everything is clean and tidy. Ambience is always a matter of taste. The style of the environment could be a bit more rustic. But that doesn't detract from the basic comfort. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Thale.

My husband and I ate there for the first time. The food was very tasty (my husband had wild goulash and I had wild curry sausage), you'll definitely be full. Ambience was clean yet nice.

We sat well with 11 people. Were served friendly. Large selection and everyone was given the food they wanted at the same time. Everyone enjoyed it. Gladly again, but were only on a short trip to Thale.

We had booked a 3-day vacation with breakfast at the “Bodepark” hotel, which could be enjoyed in the “Wasserriese” restaurant. Of course we also had dinner there. Both breakfast and dinner were sufficient and very tasty. The restaurant was clean, the waitresses were friendly and prompt. The portion size was more than filling. In November the offer was half a duck with red and green cabbage and dumplings. My husband liked it very much, so the chef(s) received personal praise. Everything you need for a good, adequate breakfast was available at the breakfast buffet. Price/performance was okay.

Not a cozy atmosphere but the room is nice. Food too expensive, no fresh schnitzels but pressed meat and bought already breaded and far too little. And what doesn't work at all: Ketchup packets and mayonnaise packets are placed on the food plate. Just like the snack bar, only different prices! Very careless and putting bags that have passed through many hands on the food. From an environmental point of view, packaged things are very questionable anyway. Service was good.

Wir waren zu zweit und hatten reserviert. Als wir platziert wurden, warteten wir locker 15 min und sahen wir 3 Tisch die nach uns kamen bedient wurden. Auf Nachfrage das wir gern bedient werden möchten, kam ein lapidares schnippisches „ kann ich nicht änder“. Der restliche „ Service“ war ebenfalls eher sparsam. Das Essen war mittelmäßig. Für uns, nicht zu empfehlen.

Very good German cuisine. We had beef roulade and game goulash, each with red cabbage and dumplings. That was delicious. A dream for dessert: homemade apple strudel with vanilla ice cream and cream. The food was really excellent and the service was very friendly, courteous and attentive. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience today. The hoped-for “home cooking” turned out to be low-quality industrial goods. The unfortunately very bland tasting beef roulade was actually only surpassed by the “creamy rice pudding” from the bag. Behind the burger there is a meatball hidden in the bun, which is far from a patty. Even the cola was stale and basically non-carbonated, not to mention ice cream. The incredibly overpriced prices for this quality of food are particularly annoying. Service staff were rare and not classically trained. The upholstered furniture may be a matter of taste, but the question of how hygienic it is still arises. Next time we visit Thale we will try our luck somewhere else.

I was disappointed. As bare as the restaurant was, the plates were also bare. No candle on the table. No decoration and no nicely arranged plates. But great prices.

I was there for dinner yesterday, the location is great! But the employee had a harsh and rude manner in dealing with us guests. The fact that two waitresses served us was also very untypical, which is why it was difficult to assign drinks, as well as being loud and unfriendly. The food was delicious, but the price and quantity are incomprehensible!

I can recommend it. The food was really very tasty. I quote: "That was the best burger I've ever eaten." And we've eaten a lot of burgers. The noodles were also delicious. There are also some vegetarian and children's dishes. There aren't that many dishes on the menu, but the quality of the dishes is all the better. It wasn't particularly crowded, but the food came within a few minutes. The staff was extremely friendly. The prices are really fair. The interior is very nice and offers a lot of space, there is a pleasant smell in the air. No cigarette and no smell of food. There is also a lot of space outside.

My partner had difficulty eating due to an infection in his mouth and suffered even when eating his soup. The attentive staff noticed this and brought a gentler dish that wasn't on the menu. I am absolutely impressed and grateful for this caring gesture. Plus, the food here is really delicious.

The taste of the food was great, but the meat was slightly tough and therefore difficult to cut and chew. We had roulades with red cabbage and dumplings for €24.90. At this price I think the meat is nice and tender and melts in your mouth. It's a shame given this great location.

We sat in a back room here, so the ambience was just ok. We ordered two burgers, which looked really delicious. But unfortunately there was absolutely nothing in terms of taste, as the meat was really fried to death. Really a shame. The service, on the other hand, was good, which is why the overall rating was two stars instead of just one.

Both highly recommended 😋 Two days later we went there again for dinner and were not disappointed again 👌 I had pasta with shrimp and my husband had schnitzel with cheese gratin and fried potatoes 😋😋 The chef in the kitchen knows his craft 👏 So if you're ever in Thale, this is your place to eat 🤩 Thank you for the great service and the great food. We had a delicious meal here - but the portions could have been a little larger. Service is friendly and you can sit nicely in the covered outdoor area next to the entrance. A good destination on the way back from the cable car - just a few minutes walk and away from the hustle and bustle there.

Food was okay, selection was clear, I would have liked something more regional. Prices, well, we paid 82 euros for food and a small drink for 4 people.

It was a big disaster for us. We were allocated a table, which was positive, it was wiped down beforehand. Then nothing happened for 20 minutes until the menu finally came (good thing we knew what we wanted to drink). After another 20 minutes the drinks came. After another half hour our food arrived. Unfortunately the fish was unseasoned, which we later realized. The answer to that is “well if you say so”. At the neighboring table, the drinks didn't arrive until well after the meal, and there were no more forks in the containers, so we helped out (before the food got cold). It doesn't work at all. You don't just want to complain, the location of the restaurant and the ambience are very good. The toilets are also clean. Well, maybe you’ll take a review like this to heart.

The inn is located directly at the Peace Park in Thale. In wonderful weather we were able to sit outside and enjoy the good food. The service was quick and always friendly. The food - we had the solyanka, the starter salad and the water giant burger - was fresh and very tasty. We'd love to come back!

We ate there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we are hotel guests from the Harzpark Bodetal, the food was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. We wanted to order a table for Sunday evening, we were told everything would be full, we were a bit disappointed as guests of the house. We then went to the Italian restaurant around the corner.

It looks like I got food poisoning from the solyanka (soup). Disgusting and way too expensive. I don't want to give an undifferentiated assessment of the rest. And then there was an error with the bill at the end, a difference of 100 euros.

We booked the Riesenschnitzel witch adventure with our three grandchildren in February and were all so thrilled. We enjoyed the delicious food in the restaurant and we would like to say a big thank you to everyone.

Looking for a restaurant at short notice on Valentine's Day. Luckily the restaurant still had room for 8 people. The food was as good as it gets anywhere. Meat on point and nice and tender, the side dishes sufficient and well prepared (no convenience👍) So good that the restaurant was visited again two days later. You don't find something like that often...

We visited the inn on a Saturday and luckily reserved a table as it was quite full. The furnishings are simple, cozy and unfussy. We liked it. The service was friendly and quick. The drinks and food came quickly. We had kale with smoked pork and the schnitzel with Harz cheese. Both tasty and the portion size is great. I was actually missing a sauce with my fries. That's a dry matter. Prices were reasonable. Changing the side dishes costs 1.50 euros, which isn't entirely understandable, but the restaurant's pricing is ultimately free. We liked it and would come back, preferably on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday because on these days there is a special GDR menu with the classics.

Sehr guter Service, sehr lecker gegessen, sehr freundliches Personal. Nur etwas schlechte Akkustik- Gespräche waren problematisch, da es sehr laut war. Hier sollte man nachbessern. Wir würden aber unbedingt wiederkommen
