An absolutely beautiful hotel. Great staff. Food is very good. It seems very familiar and there are often parties here. I really enjoy the surroundings and can definitely recommend the hotel. Get the view of the tench if possible.

The menu and website are ambitious. There was a problem with the implementation of my meal: a fine cod fillet was beaten and oversalted by a thick slice of ham, and the vegetables were completely forgotten. When I complained about this, there was just a shrug of the shoulders, no accommodation or compensation - very unprofessional in my opinion. The service was excellent, the location is unique. Overall overpriced and overrated.

Lovely, quiet hotel, located in absolutely beautiful surroundings. Rooms are tastefully decorated, bright and comfortable. The hotel restaurant is serving delicious food with good selection of seafood and vegan/ vegetarian options, gorgeous desserts and fantastic wines.

We celebrated our civil wedding at the Hotel Strandleben. Many thanks to Patrick Wilson for the advice and support of our event. We felt very well looked after. The service as well as the quality of food and drinks were excellent.

I wasn't in the hotel, just in the restaurant. But that's great. Since all the new buildings with the great surroundings and the beautiful promenade, I've been hoping that there would also be an opportunity to go out for dinner or just have a coffee by the water (Schlei). The right place to relax and unwind. Everyone is very friendly, the food is good and the coffee is delicious.

Breakfast buffet at its best. Everything you want... pancakes, waffles, rolls, cold cuts, fish, bacon, scrambled eggs, eggs, smoothies, cereal, yogurt etc. Price performance more than top. And the ambience and the view are wonderful! Service was great all around too!

Our room experience: view to the sea from the room was amazing. Our dinner experience: starters, main courses, wines and dessert were delicious and very tasty. The personnel is nice and professionnal. Food quality is far above expectation.

Yesterday I was able to celebrate my debut as a DJ at a wedding party in the “Restaurant Hotel Strandleben”! SPOILER ALERT: A PEARL IN SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN!!! What a great location right on the Schlei with a breathtaking outdoor area facing the Schlei! The wedding ceremony took place outdoors followed by a reception on the terrace! Simply WOW! I provided technical support for the wedding ceremony and reception with additional speakers so that the wedding party could enjoy the moment to the fullest. The beach life team was very nice and always kept an unobtrusive eye on the guests! 5 stars here too! You can celebrate here until 5 a.m. without having to compromise on the volume. We love going out for dinner or breakfast in the beach life. The food comes from regional companies and the quality is excellent. We can also particularly praise the service, they are very attentive. The location is beautiful. Keep it up!

Location 1A - wines recommended - food too - when the weather is nice and you can use the outdoor area, just a great atmosphere - always happy again

We only had one coffee and it was a bit overpriced

We were guests here for one night. Tastefully furnished house and rooms. Lots of sockets with USB ports, spacious bathroom and (in our case) a great view of the lake. One point is deducted for another missing milk alternative. Soy is available but oats are now almost standard and should be included in the category.

Location and rooms were good. Service when ordering food and drinks was very rough and more like “quick, quick”.

We celebrated our wedding here and are absolutely thrilled. We would love to come back straight away. Everything was perfect here from the start. The location and the beautiful view over the Schlei speak for themselves, but the entire team at Hotel Strandleben has identified that special something. Starting with the really, really good advice, through the really excellent food, to perfect service that is second to none. We were able to completely relax from the first consultation and were more pleased about finding this top location every time we were here before the wedding. The entire weekend and especially the day of the wedding celebration will always be unforgettable for us and the Hotel Restaurant Strandleben and the great staff played a huge part in that. Everything was just perfect! Thank you!!! Even if you're not getting married here, it's an absolute top recommendation if you want to spend a nice evening in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent food. We tested it ourselves before we decided to celebrate here.

We were in the restaurant and very satisfied, especially the very friendly staff 😀. Next time we want to stay overnight because the location is so beautiful.

Chic little hotel with very nice rooms in a great location

Today on a bike tour we took a break from beach life on the wonderful terrace. Such a beautiful location. The food was very tasty and the service was perfect. Absolutely a must if you are in Schleswig!!!

Were invited to a wedding. We really enjoyed the beach life. Food very tasty, friendly service. We were very lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the terrace with a great view of the Schlei. All in all a great stay. Thanks

I didn't go to a meeting with an overnight stay. The food was excellent 👍 Like everything on site!!!

We were there after the civil wedding 💒 and were invited with very tasty food (three dishes to choose from, 1×vegan, 1×fish, 1×meat) as we were around twenty people and the orders were very different. Everything was highly praised, we all liked it very much. Also how it was prepared and the service was also very nice. Everything went well afterwards two different desserts which also tasted delicious with espresso or a delicious cappuccino or coffee. Beach life has a very nice ambience. Thank you very much, it's nice to have you.

We visited the Strandleben restaurant a few days ago and were more than disappointed. The quantity and quality of the food does not justify the price. It's a shame, we always enjoyed visiting this restaurant!!

Hotel, service, rooms, surroundings, food all great

Sehr schönes Hotel in bester Lage mit Blick auf die Schlei. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant bietet gehobene, sehr schöne Speisen und Getränke an, die sehr gut schmecken. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und ebenfalls sehr lecker.

Das Buffet war sehr Lecker und tolles Ambiente noch dazu 👍.

Das Hotel hat so gute Zimmer und das Essen ist einfach so lecker und es sind jeden Tag gut gelaunte leeute sevice sind einfach5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unser Restaurantbesuch hat sich gelohnt. Das Essen und der Service waren hervorragend! Das Ambiente ist einfach wunderschön. Ich kann jedem einen Besuch empfehlen.

Zweite Rezension 12.2023: Es war wieder wunderschön und einige Dinge, die bei unserem 1. Besuch nicht 100% waren, die wurden nun verbessert! Insgesamt haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und hoffen dass die kommenden Gäste, das Inventar etwas pfleglicher behandeln, denn ein Hotelier kann noch so gute Materialien verbauen, wenn die Gäste nicht gut damit umgehen! So leidet der Echtholz Fussboden unter den scheinbar planschenden Gästen um die freistehende Badewanne herum. Es sind wahrlich genug Fußtücher und Handtücher da, dass man nicht pladdernass zwischen Sauna und Wanne verkehren muss?! Ansonsten bleibt ausser unfachmännischer Arbeit der Hausmeister/Handwerker and der Saunatür, nichts auszusetzen und es war echt wieder schön, inkl. dem sehr netten Personal und der ruhigen Atmosphäre. Unser nächster Aufenthalt ist bereits gebucht und wir freuen uns.... Erste Rezension 12.2022: Wir sind hier das erste Mal für einen Kurzurlaub in der "de luxe Suite an der Meerseite" gewesen, gebucht für zwei Nächte, um nur kurz die Seele etwas baumeln zu lassen! In der offenen Suite enthalten: Eine zwei Personen Sauna direkt im Zimmer mit Blick auf die Schlei, sowie eine große (1-2 Personen) Badewanne, eine große ebenerdige Dusche, Sofa, Liegesessel, ein kleiner Balkon zur Schlei und ein TV, der in alle Richtungen gedreht werden kann, sowie ein separiertes WC und kleinem Ankleideraum. Alles in Allem, sehr gemütlich, in stilvollem offen gehaltenem Ambiente! Erst auf expliziter Nachfrage, bekamen wir einen Wasserkocher ausgehändigt (**** Hotel), um den sofortigen Kaffeedurst nach dem morgendlichen Aufstehen stillen zu können. Das Personal war durchgängig sehr nett und es wird soweit im Zimmer und Restaurant möglich, auf Regionalität und "Bio" Siegel geachtet. Das Frühstück wird als Buffetvariante angeboten und ist vergleichsweise nicht zu teuer. Alle Speisen sind in gewohnter Variante sowie in guter Qualität ausreichend vorhanden. Das Hotel ist leider nur bedingt barrierefrei, das Zimmer jedoch nicht, da der Zugang über eine Treppe erfolgt! Ebenso finden sich überall im Hotel zwar urgemütliche Sitzmöbel (auch auf dem Balkon des Zimmers), die es jedoch für körperlich eingeschränkte Menschen unmöglich machen, aus eigener Kraft wieder aus dem gemütlichen Möbel zu kommen. Ebenso sind uns noch kleine Mankos und technische Problemchen aufgefallen, die dem Hotel jedoch noch gesondert mitgeteilt werden. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt......

Wir waren zum Abendessen vor Ort. Service super lieb und nett. Die Lage ist natürlich ebenfalls von schöner Aussicht über die kleine Breite geprägt. Das Essen hingegen war einfach sehr langweilig. Die Gnocchi waren schlichtweg Fade und geschmacklich monoton. Der Burger war in Ordnung aber geschmacklich eher so Mittelfeld. Preis-Leistung war hiermit leider weit unter der Erwartung.

Ich war mit meinem Mann zum Abendessen im Restaurant/Hotel Strandleben. Das Restaurant ist elegant und hat eine angenehme nordische Atmosphäre. Die Getränke und das Essen waren sehr lecker, kreativ und modern. Es gab außerdem einige besondere Angebote, wie ein Mehrgänge-Menü nach Auswahl der Küche oder selbstgemachte Pralinen. Service und Küche waren qualitativ super und es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Abend.

Nach vielen gute Erfahrungen in diesem Restaurant und einer negativen nahmen wir gestern ein neuen Anlauf und waren sehr angetan. Service, Atmosphäre, Geschmack und auch der Wein: Ales 5/5 Punkten. Weiter so!!

Ich war am Freitag mit meiner Freundin im Strandleben essen. Ich war auf Empfehlung eines Freundes da. Wir hatten einen Tisch zu 19 Uhr reserviert und waren etwas vorher da. Der Maitre hat uns in Empfang genommen und uns gefragt, ob wir einen Tisch im Restaurant oder auf der Terrasse haben wollen. Wir entschieden uns für die Terrasse, da das Wetter dies zuließ. Eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Die Aussicht auf die Schlei und das gegenüberliegende Ufer und dem Ort "Farhdorf" war atemberaubend. Kaum saßen wir, kam der Chef de Rang (weiblich) und hat uns die Karten gereicht, die Getränke aufgenommen und uns das Tagesgericht empfohlen und erklärt. Ich habe mich für die Tagessuppe (Kartoffelcreme mit Kürbiskernen und Kürbiskernöl) entschieden, hatte zum Hauptgang den Strandleben Burger und zum Desert zwei Pralinen und einen Eiswein. Alles war wirklich sehr gut. Der Burger war für meine Verhältnisse etwas zu durch, ich hatte ihn Medium rare bestellt, aber er war innen nur noch ganz zart rosa, fast schon durch. Aber der Burger war dennoch sehr lecker. Dazu hatte ich zwei Tigergarnelen, die auch unverschämt lecker gewesen sind. Meine Freundin hatte vorweg das Tatar mit Carpaccio was auch sehr lecker gewesen ist. Sie hatte im Hauptgang die Garnelen an Jakobsmuschel, wovon ich ebenfalls probieren durfte. Auch das war ein Traum. Zum Desert gab es dann für sie das Crème Beûlée mit Passionsfrucht Sorbet. Ich war wirklich überwältigt von dem guten Service und dem echt leckeren Essen. Ich gehe recht selten in solchen Lokalen essen, daher empfinde ich die Preise als recht hoch, aber für diese Qualität und den Service durchaus gerechtfertigt. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte mal da. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant gerne weiter.

Meine volle Empfehlung für das Strandleben. Das Ambiente würde ich als modern, chic bezeichnen mit toller Aussicht auf die Schlei. Das Restaurant bietet sehr leckere, gehobene Gastronomie. Meine Tochter muss sich glutenfrei ernähren, was überhaupt kein Problem darstellte. Sogar ein glutenfreies Brötchen wurde als Vorspeise gereicht (ohne darum zu bitten!). Wir waren begeistert über so viel Service!
