We stayed there for three nights. We received a warm welcome. Everyone was very friendly. The breakfast was excellent, leaving nothing to be desired. The restaurant in the evening was also good. We really liked the atmosphere. The room, however, wasn't a highlight. It was on the 4th floor, but there was an elevator. The view was great. It was quite small, but still adequate. Unfortunately, there was only a shower curtain, which wasn't that nice either. The ventilation in the bathroom didn't work either. The mattresses were a definite downside, though. They were super soft and completely worn out. There are definitely plenty of parking spaces, though.

We booked a two-night stay. We originally planned to travel with our dog, but decided not to bring it. Our room was in the hotel's annex. Even the hallway didn't make the best impression, as it had an unpleasant smell. The room's old, worn furniture was immediately noticeable. Two armchairs were past their best, and the faux leather was missing from large areas of the armrests. The curtain was dirty and full of holes, the sink was ripped, the bathroom fan was missing its cover, revealing a large amount of dust. The shower was so small that you were constantly touching the shower curtain or adjusting the temperature with the mixer. Furthermore, the rooms are very noisy. You hear every cough and every word from the room next door. The price for one night is far too high for the amenities in the room. It feels like it's just barely adequate for guests with dogs. The reception and restaurant in the main building are nice and modern.

It needs some renovation, but it's still a great hotel with a great location and friendly staff. There's also a bicycle garage.

The cancellation of the booked rooms went smoothly. Thank you very much for that.

As a tourist, don't come here... Promised an inside swimming pool to relax, but closed too early! When you book a hotel, isn't it normal that you visit the city, and at the evening you come back to the hotel, expecting to relax a bit in the swimming pool? In general this whole village is dead after 20-21h... in the middle of the summer vacation! We even could not relax in the evening on our terrace, because some guy downstairs wanted to sleep? And at the top of the iceberg, we had to pay a fee for visiting the beach.... how is this normal?? If you really want to do nothing all day at a beach village, come to this place. Otherwise, stay away!

I unfortunately stayed here in mid-August for just one night. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted in a far from friendly manner. After receiving our key, we went to explore the city, only to find… nothing of interest. After a disappointing walk and a failed attempt to find a nice terrace, we decided to head back to the hotel, hoping to use the bar. To our dismay, the bar wasn’t open until the end of August— even the pool was closed. We had paid extra for a hotel with a pool and bar, yet couldn’t use either. The next day, when checking out, we were told we still had to pay a beach tax, despite never having been there. Very disappointing and completely not what we expected.

The rooms may be a bit older, but they're still comfortable. The location is excellent—it couldn't be better. The staff was consistently super friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant is also particularly recommended: the breakfast buffet is very good, and the weekly Friday buffet is definitely worth a try. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I was only there for one night. I booked the category listed on Booking.com as "View." I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 a.m. From the outside, it looks quite upscale. I was hoping for a proper reception. Three receptionists were chatting and ignored me when I said good morning. Then I said good morning more firmly, and only reluctantly did the "group meeting" end. There was no smile on my face, and I felt like I was disturbing everyone. My room, as expected, wasn't available yet. I asked questions about the room, which floor I was on, and what kind of view I would have. One of the ladies with brunette hair mumbled something unintelligible and went into the office. The lady with short blonde hair just said spitefully, "You have a nice renovated room." "We're fully booked, and if you have any requests, you'll have to book early and clarify everything beforehand." I just asked a simple question. I hadn't expressed any requests. By then, I was fed up. I returned around 3:00 p.m. and finally checked in. This time, the two ladies were trying to be friendlier in tone. Yet they were still stubborn, as if their job was a chore. My room, 144, was on the first floor. I overlooked large parasols and the outdoor dining area below. Otherwise, there was a lovely view of trees and houses. The room had indeed been renovated, as advertised. Fortunately, the bed wasn't saggy. I could only take a lukewarm shower in the bathroom. Even after letting it run for a long time, the temperature didn't change. Rinsing my teeth was also almost cold. Two stars deducted because of the low water temperature in the bathroom and because there was no kettle or minibar. I actually wanted to use the swimming pool in the evening. I opted for high tide by the sea instead. The pool is only open until 7:00 p.m. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it. The restaurant opens at 5:30 p.m. and stays open until 9:00 p.m. When I returned to my room, it was filled with cigarette smoke. It was also very loud from the guests. There were some loudmouths going on. I had to close the windows because of the heat. Around 10:00 p.m., it finally calmed down and the smoke disappeared. I was able to open the windows again. I'll look for different accommodations next time. Now I know what to look out for.

The hotel in the annex deserves 4 stars. There's a swimming pool. The door is accessible at all times, with a chip on the key after 10 p.m. There's an elevator, large enough for a stroller and one person. More than that doesn't fit. We arrived with a dog and a child. It was quiet at night, despite being quite centrally located. Less than 3 minutes to the sea. Pizza Mania is right around the corner; the food there is decent and affordable. We didn't try the hotel's own restaurant, but we were out and about all day. Bus right outside the front door. Aldi is also not far away. We're regular guests in Cuxhaven, and I would classify this hotel as mid-range. Service is impeccable, polite, fast, and everything works. We had requested a crib, but it wasn't in the room. Upon request, one was immediately brought to the room and set up. Overall, our stay was good! The room was small, but adequate.

Positive The breakfast is delicious and the staff in the restaurant is friendly. Neutral The rooms are fine, although they could use some renovations here and there, but they're perfectly fine for a few days. Negative The reception staff are unfortunately unfriendly and irritable; you feel like you're disturbing them. That can't be right. What a shame!

Cuxhaven Döse is actually very central to the beach and restaurants. The hotel is showing its age. The toilet flushes continuously, with about 10 seconds of intermittent interruption, which is obviously very annoying. The few electrical outlets in the room don't even all work. The shower head is in desperate need of a replacement. There's no refrigerator in the room. Free parking on site 👌🏾

We were there over the weekend; it was my fourth time at this hotel. The last two times I got a more modern room. I don't know if the older ones in the annex are still available, but they were clean too. Let's get to the first and only negative point: the shower curtains. A sliding door or something similar that doesn't stick to you would be nicer. But that's nitpicking at a high level! The breakfast buffet is fantastic, great value for money. The large fish buffet on Friday evening was our highlight. The staff is always very friendly, and the location, close to the beach, is unbeatable. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

A really friendly, clean, and comfortable hotel. Close to the beach, parking in front of the hotel. Gluten-free breakfast available upon request. We'll be back. There were four of us with a sofa bed, which is OK if you don't want to spend too much time in your room. We'll be back.

This is my second time here. Delicious and plentiful buffet, we had a lovely little room with a sea view. Downstairs is the restaurant, which is also highly recommended, and there's a small pool for when the weather is bad. Everyone was friendly :)

First time here, but definitely not the last. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and the decor is a mix of maritime and modern. Rooms are perfectly adequate. It's just a shame the pool is only open until 7 p.m. But that's the only minor drawback. TOP!

We would have loved to eat there. We were turned away because every seat was taken. The restaurant was empty! The staff were very inconsistent and unwelcoming.

The Hotel Deichgraf is not recommended. Old rooms, dirty shower heads, a very strong smell in the upper floors, the sports bar closed on a Friday night, the very old annex, some of which still had poor wooden windows. As a group of 6, we definitely won't be going back.

Single room for €120.00 per night. Very small, no comfort. Cold water in the shower. Only suitable for pure sleeping. A good youth hostel could have done it better, perhaps. Too bad. Hotel facilities and breakfast are good.

The dog rooms are old. The beds were sagging, but a board was placed under the mattress. The bathroom is small and the shower only has a curtain. The room was clean! The staff very nice and helpful. The dinner was super delicious. Our dog was also allowed to come along. Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. We didn't visit the swimming pool. The hotel is very close to the beach. Parking spaces are available.

A hotel where you can certainly spend a few days. The rooms were clean and the service was nice. It was good for our transit journey. The hotel is a bit old. The dining area is nice and renovated. Our room was a bit noisy and in need of renovation. Unfortunately, due to the restaurant on the ground floor, there is a strong smell of salt and fish in the rooms. Since some of this gets stuck in clothing, this is a not so nice side effect.

Beautiful hotel in the first row of Cuxhaven Döse. When I'm here on business, I always stay there. Good breakfast, decent rooms, and the restaurant is excellent! And of course: the location! It couldn't be better! It's a 10-minute walk to Kugelbacke Beach. And you can walk along the beach for hours! Great!

Just right for a short vacation. Right on the dike...Very good food in the evening with lots of fish dishes and a rich breakfast buffet. Room was functional and sufficient for 3 days...It was important that everything was clean!

I was at the Hotel Deichgraf a week ago for a magical winter weekend and will definitely repeat next year. My single room was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was great. My special needs were catered to, and I always encountered friendly staff. The restaurant is also highly recommended; the staff here are incredibly friendly... they try to make your stay as pleasant as possible! I'm looking forward to next year and can only recommend the hotel!

This was our second time staying at the hotel. We and our child thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room on the first floor and the apartment on the second floor were very well-equipped and we loved them. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. We would be happy to return.

We had a double room and a single room for 3 days. There is a sticker on the mirror in every bathroom: Sauna and swimming pool can be used daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The sauna no longer exists since 2020! The swimming pool was locked. When I asked the receptionist how to get in, the receptionist barked at me: with the room key. I then said, how do you know that, and she said: you could have asked. Notice on the rooms is probably too much to ask. Very unfortunate!!! Breakfast was great and the kitchen and cleaning staff were very nice. Room ok. You don't have to go twice.

In 2023, we had booked a corresponding arrangement for the upcoming New Year 2023/2024 with half board for the evening menu as well as a cup of coffee and a piece of cake every afternoon. In the evenings, you can end the day in the Tiefenrausch hotel bar, where all drinks are charged at half price for hotel guests. Swimming pool and WiFi free of charge! Unfortunately, we were unable to make the booking for health reasons and, after consulting with the hotel management, we arranged to reschedule the booking 1:1 for the Christmas/New Year period 2024/2025! When we arrived on December 23rd, 2024, we were welcomed as friendly as ever...we have repeatedly been welcomed as guests in this house. When asked about the agreements set out in the accommodation contract, we were then surprisingly informed that the following things were no longer relevant despite the contractual agreement: No 50% discount on all drinks in the Tiefenrausch bar!!!!! The bar is closed until December 29th, 2024 for personnel reasons, so there is no opportunity to end the day accordingly!!!! Can the staff problem be solved by the guests or are they responsible for it?!? So the topic of discounts on drinks would be self-explanatory!!!! At dinner on December 24th, 2024, we were served food and we wouldn't have been surprised if the plates had been thrown...after my complaint in the morning hours of December 25th, 2024, the service got better, especially since the service staff recognized that I have been a regular guest in your hotel for over 10 years. Only then, and unfortunately only at that moment, did the service in the restaurant become as I have known it from previous years in this establishment. To ultimately add something positive to the whole thing... For me, the room service on the floor is absolutely exemplary and is second to none here!!!! Given all these points, I will think about what the turn of the year 2025/2026 will look like for us?!? Of course, I will also make this known to my circle of friends, some of whom were in your house based on my recommendation!!!!

The hotel is beautifully located behind the dike. You can quickly reach the water. The rooms are comfortably furnished and offer everything you need. The restaurant is great, absolutely my taste, ambience on the one hand, but the food on Friday at the Nordic buffet was very, very good! The selection is huge and everything is tasty.

A nice weekend trip, but I wouldn't book the hotel for longer. Very nice staff but even that doesn't allow us to ignore the shortcomings. But all in all, recommended for a weekend without high expectations.

The hotel conveys a sophisticated quality from the outside and inside of the main building. This requirement is not fully met in the “wellness building”. Dogs are allowed - great. However, with the side wing "wellness building" and the already very "worn out" room, as a guest with a dog you have the impression that you are just tolerated here.

The hotel is very nicely located. Some of the rooms are renovated in a very modern way and others are a little older like our room, but everything is well maintained, in good condition and clean. Staff is friendly. A pool is also available. The breakfast is of course not cheap at €21, but it is really, really good. Nothing is missing 👍🏻

Our room was a bit old, but clean. We had a view of the lake from the window on the 3rd floor. The WiFi was fine. Breakfast and dinner were good. Unfortunately we couldn't find a vending machine and had to go to a discount store. Plenty of parking spaces with free parking permits. The restaurant has a maritime theme and the staff is friendly and professional. Since I wasn't hungry on the first evening and only ate a small amount, it was offered that I only had to pay for a children's portion. Where else can you find this? We would come again.

Unfortunately, the hotel is getting very old...at least in the extension! The location, on the other hand, is good. A few minutes walk and you are on the beach. The breakfast buffet is very rich. We wouldn't book there a second time!

We stayed at the Hotel Deichgraf for a short weekend. The first room was a disaster to the highest degree. The second room, well, it had a refrigerator. But the entire door frame was torn out. According to the lady at reception, unfortunately we couldn't cancel the room. The breakfast was quite ok. From the 3rd floor onwards the air became thinner and thinner. We were on the 5th floor. If you want to find something then you will find something. But for 179€ a night you can expect something. What's even more amazing What was a rip-off in my opinion was the tourist tax, the cards were given to us by the hotel when we arrived. We were then charged for these when we left. We talked But not a word about it. I've already been to a few hotels on the North Sea and the tourist tax was always included. And at 179 euros per night it should be that way. The location of the hotel is very good. I would definitely not book it again. There are better hotels. The rooms were very dry.

A very interesting house - some things e.g. The restaurant is newly renovated and has a consistent design, other things are from the year it was built. The breakfast is as good or normal as is standard in many houses these days. The part of the white building is really southern and clearly showing its age. With one exception, we had very nice staff in the restaurant. The cleaner we met in the morning was also very friendly. At the reception you get contradictory information and the shower in the swimming pool is scary (cold water and a flattened cabin). Unfortunately, for the price we paid for one night, the quality is not right at all. The location is great and it's only a few minutes walk to the beach. The hotel's own playground is equipped with a slide, seesaw, seesaw animal, climbing wall and a swing. Unfortunately, in many places it's yucky at the front and yucky at the back.

We are accommodated in the annex building. The rooms here are getting old. No minibar, no safe and no socket by the bed. But there is a TV and it is clean too. The solution in the bathroom with the shower curtain leads to flooding. Otherwise the bathroom is clean and has normal facilities with a hairdryer. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a very large and good selection. Both warm dishes and a large selection of sausages and cheese. A variety of fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice are also available. Of course also coffee and teas. If you like, you can also drink sparkling wine. In the evening we had a 3 course dinner. We decided on the fish. The food tasted very good and is recommended. You can do a lot in your free time. The hotel itself has an attractive pool with two whirlpool tubs. You can see the beach from the Holtel. Another paid parking space is right next door. The playground, several options for eating and drinking are within walking distance, as well as souvenir shops and beach chairs can also be found nearby. There is a bus stop in front of the door and the beach tram runs on the beach.

First of all, Cuxhaven is always worth a trip! Just the choice of where to stay overnight should be carefully considered. The Hotel Deichgraf impresses online with good pictures and reasonable reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't meet the often mentioned friendly staff. But waitresses who would much rather play on their cell phones than take care of evening guests. This negative impression continued the next morning. The rooms exude the charm of a construction workers' hotel in Bottrop. Maybe this is just a special feature of the annex where I was allowed to spend the night. The furnishings are poor, the towels were dirty and I could inevitably hear the conversation in the next room. Eating dinner there also offers a variety of surprises. The fish was good, but the "fried potatoes" from the prepackaged package were drowned in the taste of bacon and reduced the enjoyment, as did the bland vegetables. The only thing we were very keen on was the prices! The breakfast adapts to this quality by offering overcooked eggs, scrambled eggs from a tetra pack and mundane cold cuts in a minimalist presentation. For the prices I expected much more and got it elsewhere.

We have been to Deichgraf a few times and are thrilled every time!! The Deichgraf can be particularly proud of his great staff!! Whether it's the chambermaid, the ladies at the reception or the craftsmen, they're all competent and super friendly! Plus a very good restaurant and a great location right by the sea! We are already looking forward to our next visit, also to see some of our beloved employees again! In August 2024 we were at Deichgraf again! Unfortunately there is something to criticize this time! As of this year there are no longer any refrigerators in the rooms! In previous years we loved going to the beach with chilled drinks, but unfortunately that is no longer possible! Especially on hot days there is no possibility to keep something cold!! Not good service - unfortunately.....

Nicely close to the beach, reception friendly, you can park at the hotel with the parking card. The service at breakfast was a disgrace, unfriendly regardless of whether you were too young or old. At least one of 3 people was friendly and nice. Cracked latte macchiato glasses, a slice of bacon in the stand Ketchup/mustard/salt/pepper in the evening in the restaurant. We had a double room, a folding bed was pushed in front of the double bed for our child, which made the bed, window or couch chair inaccessible, no smoke detectors in the room, push button in the bathroom approx. 20-25 years old, completely yellowed, shelf in the shower hanging half way up. There is a thumb's width gap between the door and the toilet. Lighting on the stairs to the exit/bar/restaurant is partly not working, emergency exit signs are partly also defective. At the bottom next to The toilet in the elevator (men) for 2 days without handwashing paper, the toilet lock could only be operated with force, the door handle was loose.

Pro: Good location, free car parking, free garage space for bicycles, very clean, free WiFi Cons: Poor amenities, no refrigerator, no safe. Bathroom is difficult for slightly larger people as it is very cramped. Beds very soft. Attention: Breakfast costs €21.00! Better have breakfast somewhere else... Conclusion: Still OK for me, I'll be back!

I can only judge the restaurant and from the menu only the coffee. :) The waiters are courteous and friendly. I can say that. And it's very comfortable to sit there.

Quiet apartment with balcony and view of the North Sea. In the kitchenette, apart from an oven, there was everything you needed. Furnishings are a bit old, but they're fine. Unfortunately, the mattresses on the single beds were very sagging and one of the beds creaked with every movement.

Rooms and service 4 stars because the rooms are already a bit old and you have to walk a long way to get to the hotel. B to reach the reception or the pool areas. In the restaurant it took a little longer until drinks and food arrived. Otherwise very centrally located to the dike - within 2 minutes you can be at the water. We even had a sea view without booking it

Spent five days here, nice single room facing the garden, very quiet! Room well equipped, box spring bed, small TV, armchair and built-in wardrobe. Bathroom with shower (unfortunately I had problems adjusting the temperature). The bathroom mirror is also placed quite high (women are often not that tall). Breakfast really great 😊. Staff quite nice 👍 Parking is plentiful and free of charge. The location is great, between Döse and Duhnen. I would book again

Except for the bar, it was a disaster, at breakfast there were apparently rolls from the day before (which were hard as a rock), room service did not take place on May 9th, 24 (in the two rooms we booked) despite the markings on the door and with Cards (which meant we had to watch what we dried ourselves with in the evening and what we wiped our bottoms with because there wasn't even half a roll left when we arrived), there was a lot of dust on the bedside lamps, which of course looked like it was the cleaning doesn't really take place, The heating is in constant operation and therefore not nice without air conditioning (much too warm). The exhaust air in the small bathroom didn't work either. The elevator is actually very unusually warm. The service staff on the first evening in the restaurant seemed visibly annoyed. There was a room fridge/minibar, but it was riveted/screwed shut, so it couldn't be used. If you wanted to drink something, you were forced to go to Rohrperle or down to the entrance to the main building to buy something there for the corresponding euro. At the reception, no one cared about how the stay was when checking out, checking in, paying and leaving

Great...a great price-performance ratio, the main highlights are the swimming pool with the two whirlpool tubs and the generous breakfast buffet. There used to be a nice sauna, unfortunately it is no longer in operation. The bottom line is that this hotel is recommended and we will definitely come back.

A little old, but clean and very friendly. Always an experience with a view of the North Sea. Close to the beach, dog-friendly and quiet.

I ate there and there was a selection on the menu with beef, pork and chicken fillet. The question from the waiter as to whether the beef should be medium posed a question for me when it was served... With a lot of will, the image was perhaps 100 grams and as thin as the sole of a shoe and just as hard and dry. To get a piece of medium like this you don't have to be a chef, but an artist. My complaint to the question: If everything was okay, it was accepted without an answer or anything else.

New Year's Eve brunch. It doesn't get any better. Food and location top. Update: We are now here at the hotel and took advantage of one of the offers there. Conclusion: Price-performance ratio is totally right. We have one of the newer rooms, which are quite good, although one or two things could have been better. Breakfast with half board was totally great. I can only recommend the Deichgraf. Update: this time we got one of the older rooms (but probably with a newer bathroom). Conclusion here, you can tell in a few places that they are the older ones. For example, not all sockets are live, so you have to look for where you can charge your laptop or cell phone. But at least the rooms are clean, the cleaning service on the floors is also good. The sauna has been closed since 2020, I don't think it will be reopened anytime soon. The swimming pool is also getting old, but it is easy to use and ideal for a short break, especially when it is raining. The food (especially the breakfast buffet) and the restaurant were and still are very good. Nice staff, very comfortable seating that invites you to linger for a longer period of time. But the employees at the reception are also friendly and competent. Conclusion after this short vacation: still a good price/performance ratio, highly recommended.

We were there to have something nice to eat in the restaurant and we managed to do that. The menu served was excellent, it was nicely arranged, the price-performance ratio was okay and the employees were very friendly. The atmosphere is very maritime and suited our taste.

I was in this hotel with my family and dog from March 15th to March 17th. I can only confirm the best. I haven't found a hotel where dogs are so welcome.

We have been to this hotel several times. The rooms were clean and OK. I personally find shower curtains unhygienic. The breakfast is very good and extensive. The staff is very friendly, whether in the restaurant, the reception or the cleaning staff. Unfortunately - despite other publications on the homepage - the hotel bar was closed from Sunday to Thursday. A pity. We were already looking forward to a final cocktail in the evening.

I was in a single room that had just been renovated. This means that the furniture has been renewed. The bed was extremely good. The pillow and duvet should have been replaced. The very small bathroom could not be closed due to the old, jamming door. Since information about resource saving measures is available in the rooms, it should be pointed out that the water has to run for a very long time before you get warm water. Very disadvantageous with the shower, which also worked with very little water pressure. The shower doors, which had been replaced, didn't close either, so I would have a small flood in the mini bathroom. It's a shame because it's just small things. I hope the house service takes care of this information. The cleaning staff should also notice something like this.

Were there as a couple with a dog. We had booked two nights. The room was ok, unfortunately the fan in the bathroom didn't work and the mattresses were pretty worn out. Breakfast was very good and the Wiener schnitzel with fried potatoes in the evening was also delicious. Parking spaces are available and free of charge, which is worth a lot in Cuxhaven. Staff also very nice and accommodating.

We went to the Nordic buffet twice, which takes place on Fridays. It was as good as we expected. It has now become very expensive. If we're in Cuxhaven again on Friday, we'll stop by the Deichgraf at 6 p.m.

We stayed at this hotel for one night for €114. First of all, the location of the hotel is very good, directly behind the dike on the North Sea. The hotel is very easy to reach by car and parking is free. Unfortunately, from our point of view, that was it for the positive properties. When we checked in we were told the room wouldn't be ready until 3 p.m. Since we had something to do in the afternoon, we politely asked at 1:45 p.m. if we could at least get the key because we wouldn't be able to make it to the hotel until 7 p.m. This was initially denied after some discussions, but then the key was handed over to us with the promise that we would not leave the room before 3 p.m. When we entered the hotel at a later hour, we discovered that we were staying in the house above the wellness area. We were accommodated on the 4th floor which could be reached with an elevator. The whole building stank of chlorine, the hallway and even the room smelled like a changing room in the swimming pool. When you enter the room you immediately notice the poor condition of the room. Holes in the walls, all wooden surfaces were scratched or even worn down to chipboard. Both armchairs had holes in them and the glass table was completely scratched and chipped. The bed in the 80s style was completely tattered at the bottom and all the wooden elements were worn and worn. The same in the bathroom from the beautiful red shower curtain to the marble look sink with rust and cracks. I have rarely seen such a worn-out room. We couldn't complain or ask for a room change because no one was there after 7 p.m. Presumably a little more attention is paid to the condition of the high-priced rooms, which is probably why the sometimes very good reviews led me to book this hotel. Make your own impression because pictures usually say more than words. We were at the Hotel Deichgraf for the last time! Nevertheless, you have to say the room was really clean despite all the defects. Kudos to the cleaning staff.

This was our second time here. 2 adults 1 dog here. The service, restaurant and breakfast buffet were great. Just like the location. You can be on the beach in no time for great walks. The first time: Unfortunately, the room with a dog is less than pension standard. No WiFi there. The bathroom is in poor 70s condition. I felt 30 years younger when the red shower curtain stuck to my body while showering. The room is small. Bed ok so far. We'll still come back for a weekend...the location makes it interesting for us. Price/performance for the rooms with dogs...phew...not justified. Addendum for the 2nd time. The room even smaller. The furniture was partly damaged. The bathroom is dilapidated. The bed...never been so bad. Unfortunately this room doesn't have a star
