The food is fresh and very tasty! Desserts are really great and with Vietnamese coffee it is perfectly rounded off. The atmosphere is really cute. The service is totally friendly and attentive. Everything is just right here.

Variety dishes with affordable price

Great place! The service is very nice and they speak English. The menu includes a good variety of Vietnamese dishes I recommend their Pho Xao. We also had Goi Cuon and Ca Ri Ga. The amount of food per dish is quite big and good for the price. Everything was just delicious and they gave us fortune cookies! The only thing to take into account is that they don’t have credit card as payment option so you need cash. But there’s an ATM right next to the place, so no excuses to enjoy!

The food is okay the staff is friendly. But be aware that it is a "cash only" restaurant. Just beside the restaurant there is a ATM automat but they charge you 20euros when taking out money. For 2024 it is a big minus that one cannot pay by credit card.

I had lunch here during a training course in the Harburg harbor. It was cheap, tasty, friendly, a really nice atmosphere and all in all I can recommend the food here.

A nice restaurant with nice service. The food is authentic and delivered quickly. Good choice. The seating outside is a bit uncomfortable, but the overall atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant.

The food is really fantastic and particularly beautifully prepared. Our starters were swapped twice, and once I had to wait over three quarters of an hour for lunch because we had been forgotten 😅but these are certainly only exceptions. Otherwise a warm recommendation. The prices are slightly higher than in other comparable stores. But you also get something nicer than in most stores.

Google Maps says debut maps are accepted. There are signs everywhere in the store stating that card payments are not possible. It's always very strange to me when a store doesn't accept card payments. And it's even more strange when the information on Google Maps is presented differently

We really liked Hoi An in Harburg Harbor. The restaurant is nicely and comfortably furnished inside and out. The water is not far, you can take a nice walk before or after eating. The parking situation is also relatively relaxed. We were here for dinner during the week, the restaurant was very busy, we definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. We ate really well, from the starter to the dessert everything was very tasty and freshly prepared. The selection is good, the portions are just right, and above all it is healthy cuisine, with tasty but light dishes that are decorated with plenty of raw vegetables and crunchy herbs - perfect. Staff very friendly and attentive. Attention, you can only pay in cash, we had to quickly run to the ATM before leaving the restaurant... luckily it's not far, but paying by card would of course be more convenient

If you want really great and delicious Asian food, this is the place for you. Nice, clear menu with various options per dish and not overloaded, as usual from the Chinese restaurant. Very fresh and totally delicious. I will definitely come here to eat regularly. Small additions that should also appear on the website: Card payments are currently not possible, so be sure to have enough cash with you. And during the European Championships there is a screen with live TV.

Nice restaurant but we had to wait a relatively long time

I'm actually not a fan of "Asian cuisine", but it's definitely different here: The food is very fresh and, in my opinion, also very natural, i.e. without artificial flavors etc. as we usually know it. It's not spicy either, it tastes good! Only the waiters are a little too shy and would be happy to come by again after the main course has been served and offer more drinks etc.

I really like Hoi An, so far there have never been any problems and they respond to all requests. Food is very very fresh and delicious. Portions are also appropriate, not too much and not too little. Appetizers are soooo good too! Employees are friendly and polite, you definitely feel super comfortable. It just really bothers me that you can't pay by card, I always find that very annoying.

The lunch menu is highly recommended. The food tasted excellent. The service was extremely friendly, quick and courteous. The high chair was brought immediately, as was a bowl of hot water to warm up the porridge.

The food is absolutely good. I've been here a few times and it's always the same good quality. You know what you're getting here. The service is very friendly and extremely fast. Somehow everything happens very quickly here anyway, so you never spend long. As a result, the stay loses some of its coziness. Even when it's full, it's a bit too loud in the dining room for me.

Food beautifully prepared and tasteful. Shared starter but unfortunately didn't receive an extra plate. Chips on the dishes, not okay in this price range and unsightly on black dishes. Asking if it tastes good/everything is OK...unfortunately not. Even though one person was still eating, empty plates were cleared away without a word. Don't do it! The best Vietnamese restaurant I ate at in Germany. The dish is cleverly modified a bit, retaining both tradition and deliciousness. I especially recommend everyone to try Beef Pho. The beef is grilled in foil and marinated with a fragrant aroma. It is very tender and the pho broth is delicious and rich, even better than some pho restaurants in Vietnam. When I miss home, coming here to enjoy a bowl of pho makes me really love life ❤️

The vegetables offered were excellent. I have never eaten anything tastier. However, the "crispy" duck was gone under the sweet and sour sauce. .....A no go is to clear the plates when another guest at the table is still eating. The ambience has an Asian touch.

Update: Dogs are allowed again! The food and everything around it is great, but all dogs have recently been banned! It's a shame for all dog owners and unfortunately for us we won't be able to visit again.

I love eating pan-Asian food. This restaurant serves authentic Vietnamese dishes. Super tasty and freshly prepared! No frozen goods that are fried and served. The tastiest peanut-coconut sauce I've tried so far. It is recommended to reserve a table from 6 p.m. The dishes cost about €2 more than usual at Asian restaurants.

Well... To be honest, I've eaten better. I expected something more. The place itself is very nice, nice people but you still have to put in a little more effort.

Great food. I had soba with chicken and it was definitely the best soba dish I've ever had. The price seemed quite high at first glance, but it was a very large portion that filled me up well, and since it also tasted so delicious, the price was definitely justified.

I have known the restaurant since it opened because I used to live there and visited often, which is why I can assess the development of the restaurant very well. Today I visited again and was shocked at how much the prices had risen nominally. A bit of rice noodles with duck including vegetables costs an impressive €22, although the vegetables made up the main part of the dish. At the same time, expensive side dishes are saved and the proportion of cheap ingredients is increased, which corresponds to a double price increase. The service remained okay, but that's not so bad. Only 2 stars for the service because there has been no option to pay with a debit card for at least 4 years, which no longer fits the now higher price segment and has a bad aftertaste when you can even pay with a card at the bakery next door . The food still tastes very tasty and the atmosphere is nice too. Therefore a total of 3 stars out of 4 stars. The prices that have now been quoted, including the hidden price increase and the requirement to pay in cash, have removed this restaurant from my list. If Hoi Ann returns to a reasonable price-performance ratio, we will be happy to visit the restaurant again.

Everything was just right here! The ambience is great, the service is very courteous and friendly and the food is very, very tasty. There is a good selection of different dishes - not too many but still something for everyone. The portions are quite large, the vegetables are still nice and crunchy and the flavors are well balanced. Simply delicious all around. My highlight at the end: the Vietnamese coffee - definitely try it!

Not that small, but quite nice Vietnamese catering provider on the corner of Veritaskai/Schellerdamm in Hamburg-Harburg. Extensive but not overly large menu and decent portion sizes. If you've had one or two starters, the main course could be challenging. The food appears to be fresh and homemade. Wonton and spring rolls didn't give the impression of being "off the shelf" and were very tasty and beautifully decorated on the plate. The drinks were also particularly tasty, such as the mango lassi, the house lemonade and the Vietnamese coffee, which was very special but very tasty for me. At lunchtime it gets very crowded here very quickly. A lot of office workers from surrounding companies seem to come here to eat. If you want to be sure, you should reserve a table between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. I can't say what it's like in the evening. There are parking options a few hundred meters away, with street parking on Schellerdamm or in the Veritaskai parking garage.

Delicious food for sure. However, the prices have increased so much (and the portions are now significantly smaller) that I no longer find it appropriate. And then only cash?!? That always has a taste and is also very impractical.

Service very disappointing because we were not taken into account and they were more busy cleaning tables than taking care of their guests. Unprofessional staff that don't serve you or pay attention to you and, in my opinion, music that is way too loud for the restaurant. After sitting/waiting for a long time, we decided to go somewhere else to eat.

The restaurant is decorated very politely and the waiters are very cute. Typical Vietnamese restaurant for Westerners in Germany with a lot of mixed flavors, but the food is generally quite good. The only problem for people from the central region like me is that the restaurant doesn't have any central dishes but still takes the name Hoi An.

Very nice Vietnamese restaurant. Most of the staff speak little to no German, so you should place your order clearly or point to the dish. The dishes are very tasty and large enough. There is space for up to 10 people at one table. However, the rule is 4-6 people.

Gute moderne Vietnamnesische Küche neu interpretiert! Nicht das einmal eins der frittierten Enten die Speisekarte hoch und runter, sondern tolle Reisnudelsalate und Idon Nudeln. Sehr zu empfehlen die hausgemachten Fruehlingsrollen und Satayspiesse. Leider manchmal kleine Schwächen im Service und leider KEINE EC Kartenzahlung, was nen echtes Nogo ist…

Tolles Restaurant mit hervorragenden Gerichten. Die Portionen waren von guter Größe und die Preise fair. Sehr schön war auch der traditionelle Kaffee zum Abschluss. Für Leute die gerne scharf essen empfehle ich das auch anzumerken, die scharfen Gerichte sind sonst leider nicht sehr scharf. Die Parkplätze sind gering an der Zahl, nebenan gibt es ein kostenpflichtiges Parkhaus. Ich rate dringend zu einer Tischreservierung.

Trotz Reservierung schienen wir unpassend zu sein. Man wies uns dennoch einen Platz zu. Nach der Erstversorgung folgte kein weiteres Nachfragen. Zwei Stunden ohne weitere Getränke, kein Personal zu sehen bis auf die Dame mit dem Staubsauger. Immerhin war das Essen ganz gut.

Spontan mit Freunden essen gehen, kann man hier versuchen. Vorbestellen wäre besser, denn es ist fast immer voll. Das Essen ist üppig, frisch und lecker. Die Schärfendes Essens ist dem Europäer angepasst. Der Service war sehr gut, nur am Ende, musste man einen Kellner suchen und auch erinnern. Auf jeden Fall immer wieder.

Sehr authentisch eingerichtetes Restaurant. Leider viel zu viele Tische, sodass die Wege sehr eng sind und nicht so viel Platz zu den Sitznachbar:innen ist. Das Essen kam schnell, ist sehr lecker und schön zugerichtet. Die Kellner:innen bisschen verplant, aber alles in einem zu empfehlen - besonders wenn man nicht zu Stoßzeiten kommt. Achtung, keine Kartenzahlung möglich!

Eins der besten Restaurants in Harburg. Kann man definitiv nichts falsch machen. Essen ist top, Service und Atmosphäre wie halt bei einem typisch Asiatischen Restaurant. Meine Empfehlung ist die Pho Sup mit Rindfleisch (30-b).
