I hadn't been there in ages. So today I stopped by for a meal, which was really delicious. And then I went shopping. I felt like I went to a price scanner a million times trying to find out the price because nothing was marked. I finally gave up, so I went to the checkout with my three items. I stood in line for half an hour because only one older gentleman was calmly ringing me up. When I asked if they could open a second checkout, the only answer was, "We don't have any staff." That's pretty normal these days, but come on, Höffner, we've arrived in a modern world, please install self-checkout lanes; every supermarket has them. I don't need to go through that again anytime soon 😢

Absolutely terrible service. I was expecting a guest sofa to be delivered. What arrived was a complete wreck. Even after I filled out a complaint form, it wasn't picked up. Only after I explicitly requested it was a pickup date arranged. Now I have to put my Christmas guests up in a hotel. I asked for a discount or some other form of compensation. This was refused. No alternative was offered, and a cancellation was also rejected. But the important thing was that the money was debited immediately upon purchase. I'm very disappointed, as I bought a lot of things for my new apartment from Höffner this year. The salesman asked us to order from him, saying that the furniture industry had collapsed and they depended on the commission. Out of pity, I even waited until he returned from his lunch break. But you can't count on any goodwill from the staff. So, thanks for nothing. That was the last time I'll ever shop at Höffner.

After purchasing a bookshelf from the showroom, I was told I would be contacted as soon as it was dismantled and ready for pickup at the warehouse. Two weeks later, I received an email stating the bookshelf was ready, so I went there. After an hour's wait, I was told the bookshelf was missing and I should contact customer service. Customer service said they would contact me as soon as the bookshelf turned up. Unfortunately, I had to follow up several times to find out what had happened to the bookshelf. Eventually, I was offered a refund, which I declined because the bookshelf would have been a perfect fit for my space. Now, two months after the purchase, I was simply refunded without any further consultation. I mentioned several times during phone calls that the same bookshelf is on display in the Frankfurt and Fürth showrooms. Would it have been so difficult to arrange for a shipping company to deliver it to me, even if I had to pay extra? More importantly, if things had gone the other way, could I simply say, "Sorry, I don't like it anymore, I'm canceling the purchase"?

Absolutely terrible customer service. Simply disappointing. We bought half our furniture from Höffner this year, and one piece was still missing. An 8-week delivery time was acceptable (although the salesperson verbally assured us it would be 4 weeks). Instead of a guest bed, a pile of junk arrived. We filled out a complaint form and requested a prompt replacement. Not a word was said about what to do with the huge pile of junk. Then we received information that the new piece would be delivered in the second week of January. We were not happy with this, as we had already waited a very long time for the first delivery. We then went to Höffner to find a solution. A price reduction, an alternative, and even a cancellation of the order were refused! The customer service representative didn't even have the courage to tell us this in person; we received an anonymous email with the unpleasant news that evening. When we were choosing our furniture, a salesperson practically begged us to place the order with him. He claimed that the furniture industry had collapsed and that Höffner works on commission and he needed the money. Out of kindness and pity, we even waited until he returned from his lunch break to place our order. Conclusion: never again Höffner.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Höffner's service. Practically everything went wrong with my order: a complete package was missing from the TV stand, a part was missing from a display cabinet, and the dining room sideboard was delivered in the completely wrong color. Resending the missing or correct parts would have taken several more weeks, so ultimately, cancellation was the only option. And I had already waited nine weeks for delivery. What was particularly disappointing was that Höffner showed absolutely no willingness to compromise – neither a price reduction nor any form of compensation was offered, despite the numerous errors. Although I have already paid in full, I now have to wait ten days for the defective furniture to be picked up – only then will the return process be completed and I will receive my refund. Overall, a very frustrating experience, both with the delivery and the handling of the complaint.

We were at the A2 Center, which was offering a 40% discount plus a 15% employee discount. So far, so good. We had chosen a not-so-cheap coat rack, which had a sign advertising 40%+15%. The very friendly salesperson had already started filling out the contract and then got to the price. Well, what a surprise! Of all places, THIS coat rack didn't have the discount. Apparently, someone had put the sign upside down. Yeah, right. That's how you lure in customers. It's a shame, because usually the nice salespeople can't do anything about these tricks. Now we'll check out the competition.

However, an important part was missing. I then ordered it directly from the manufacturer. According to the service representative, the part should then be installed. Nothing has happened to this day. And then the final bill arrived. Calling the furniture store? Impossible. Höffner is there for everyone? Except (anymore) for me. Never again.

Our experience with the customer service was good. However, we won't be making any further purchases. We bought a dining table and four chairs, but we returned the chairs because the color simply didn't match the lighting in our home. First, we were taken to the warehouse, then we waited forever at the checkout, and were then sent to customer service. The woman there was trying to be friendly, but it was clear she was annoyed. She informed me that a 10% fee would be deducted according to their terms and conditions. Alternatively, we could take other chairs. We've now wasted our money, and Höffner has taken our money. I've never experienced such poor customer service, and I made that clear. We refused to buy new chairs on principle, and given the circumstances, it was simply out of the question.

I confess, I often visited the store just for the restaurant, with friends for breakfast or coffee. Recently, I had some time to spare and, while browsing, I spotted a really nice couch. I slept on it and bought it as a display model. I was surprised that the delivery date was set for five weeks after the purchase, since the furniture was already on site. I also found the 11-hour delivery window very ambitious; it meant being available all day and ensuring a smooth delivery. The day arrived, but the couch didn't, and there was no cancellation notice either. :( A lively exchange of emails ensued; they promised to look into it, initially friendly, later somewhat cold. They offered a shopping voucher as compensation. I had the day off on the delivery date and was renovating, so it was annoying, but okay. If I had taken the day off during that time window, I would have been furious... A week later, the couch arrived, but not the promised voucher. After inquiring, I received the voucher later, by email in the middle of the night, to be redeemed that same day, otherwise it would expire. I confess, I'm disappointed and am now looking for a nice place to meet up...

We looked at dining room furniture at Höffner in Altwarmbüchen and then ordered it online because no sales staff were present. Initially, we had to endure an unusually long delivery time. When the delivery finally arrived, we wanted to assemble the table – but the base was so poorly made (very little glue and screws that were far too short were used) that it collapsed immediately during assembly. We immediately contacted customer service and described the damage in detail. Unfortunately, communication was very slow and unhelpful. After several correspondences, we were told that a replacement part could not be delivered until the second week of January 2026 at the earliest – a total delivery time of over six months (the order was placed in early July) and much too late for our planned Christmas with the family. We are very disappointed with the poor quality, the long wait, and the uncooperative customer service. A solution before Christmas doesn't seem to be planned. You could say, it happens sometimes. Yes, we agree, but a few weeks earlier, we had the same experience with our daughter. Exactly the same thing: a box spring bed that was simply poorly assembled. We're clear: This is not what we call customer service. Never again Höffner.

At Höffner in Hannover Altwarmbüchen, there are an overwhelming number of sample kitchens to view. Every imaginable width and height of base cabinets and wall cabinets is on display. All possible fronts and countertops can be viewed in real life. A truly incredible exhibition. There are many suggestions for putting together your own kitchen. Our consultant, Mr. Nandy, listened in detail to our requirements and went through the various options with us. The final price for our kitchen is, in our opinion, very fair. We would order a kitchen here again anytime.

Very disappointing – poor customer service in the bargain section! I was at Höffner Furniture and found an Engeo desk in the bargain section that I really liked. When I asked the salesperson to sell it to me, they refused, saying they "still have new ones in stock." But I wanted exactly this display piece from the bargain section, and that's what this department is for. The behavior was unfriendly and not very customer-oriented. If a customer wants to buy something that's specifically listed in the bargain section, that should be possible. Very disappointing – that's not what I imagine good service to be.

We decided to buy a kitchen including installation from Höffner Langenhagen and received detailed advice. We had very precise ideas and all our wishes were taken into account. The measuring appointment then took place very promptly. The delivery ended up being a little over a month after the announced delivery date. But we had already expected this; you hear everywhere that you have to wait quite a long time for a kitchen - no matter where you order. The customer service was helpful, though; a week after the originally announced delivery date, we received a call letting us know when the kitchen would arrive. The delivery and installation were really perfect: The installation team was simply fantastic - friendly, fast, and clean. Thanks to both guys!! Overall, a very good experience.

For many years, we've been shopping at Höffner in the A2 Center for everything from dishcloth sets to furniture. The restaurant with its rooftop garden is a truly lovely place to linger; the food is diverse and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. We don't have young children anymore, but we're still pleased with how child-friendly Höffner is (childcare and changing specials are fun for families with children). Occasionally, they host cooking demonstrations in the kitchen department, where there's plenty to try. In this respect, Höffner has that warm, family-friendly "IKEA" feel. - Unfortunately, coffee is no longer free for loyalty card holders since the coronavirus pandemic. The furniture selection here also includes furniture from well-known brands, alongside a wide selection of "house brands." It's the only furniture store in the Hanover area that I like to accompany my wife to...

Never again Höffner – responsibility shifted onto the customer I have rarely been as disappointed as I was by Höffner. Before purchasing, I had explicitly pointed out the narrow staircase and shown the salesperson photos. I was assured several times that transporting the bed would not be a problem. This turned out to be false – but instead of taking responsibility for this miscalculation, Höffner is now demanding 10% compensation from me, an additional penalty for an error made by its own staff. Service and customer focus? None. Instead of a solution or a concession, I am fobbed off with standard platitudes. Even my name was misspelled several times throughout the entire correspondence – despite several warnings. This may seem small, but it shows how little attention and respect customers actually receive here. Conclusion: A company that offers advice should also take responsibility for false promises. At Höffner, the opposite happens. For me, one thing is clear: This was my last purchase there.

We planned a Nolte country-style kitchen with a cooking island with Mr. Schewe. We had a rough preliminary plan/idea from a consultation at Porta, but Mr. Schewe was able to refine it with a few helpful tips. After taking measurements, we had to resize a few cabinets, which wasn't a problem either. We also think that being able to reuse old appliances is a great way to go in terms of sustainability. I originally wanted to build a kitchen myself using the IKEA Method system, but considering the time and cost involved, the Höffner-Nolte option makes more sense. We're excited to see the finished kitchen and will closely monitor the contractor's installation.

Unfortunately disappointed - no recommendation We were really looking forward to our sofa, which we bought locally, and we accepted the four-week delivery time, even though it was an express sofa, as delivery was included. Unfortunately, despite the undamaged packaging, it arrived very damaged, which is why we only noticed the broken condition during assembly. Since it was delivered at 7:20 a.m., we couldn't reach customer service before 10 a.m. After little feedback and little willingness to help, and a lot of back and forth, the broken parts were replaced after a week. One leg was damaged again, but I won't go through the headaches of the delivery team and customer service again. It's a shame that I only got stupid comments and no quality for my money.

We were at Höffner in the A2 Center today and had a wonderful visit. The children's festival was particularly well organized: face painting, balloons, small crafts, and hands-on activities – all free and lovingly done. My son had a blast, and we were able to browse at our leisure. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The only thing we would like to see is more vegan food options in the restaurant/café. Then the visit would be perfect for families like ours.

Recommend. We bought most of our home furniture more than two years ago and payed by zero interest installment. They are still working very well and we are satisfied with our purchase. The restaurant's daily dishes have a good variety, and the unique view on the top floor is a pleasant place to relax. Some weekends we go there just for coffee and cake.

We happened upon this place by chance and ordered two kebabs. The price/performance ratio is absolutely fair. The portions aren't the largest, but for €6, they're absolutely reasonable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Nett am Wasser gelegen. Freundlicher aufmerksamer Service, Essen gut, Preise gut. Gerne mal wieder, wenn man in Hannover sein sollte und in der Nähe des Heimathafens ist!

Unfortunately, the food has nothing to do with the service. Their treatment of us was bad, and the food was burnt. The beans were burnt. Unfortunately, they give you cold food. I will never eat from them again. I give my rating below zero. I do not recommend it.
