Bad service! Several years ago, we bought two roller shutter cabinets from a furniture retailer that no longer exists, and now we only need two new roller shutters with attachments, as the cabinet is otherwise in good condition. According to the furniture manufacturer, who unfortunately cannot supply end customers directly, we can easily order these replacement parts from any furniture store that works with this manufacturer. That's how we came across Höffner Furniture, with whom we have been very satisfied so far. An employee in the relevant department took up the matter and sent an email inquiry regarding the delivery time and retail price of the replacement parts. Since we still haven't heard anything from Höffner after a week, I called them today and learned from customer service that Höffner cannot order these replacement parts (they replied: "It's not possible, there's nothing we can do"). We don't find that very customer-friendly, and we haven't even received a response. We suspect that Höffner would rather sell two new, complete roller shutter cabinets.

Due to damage to the countertop of our rental kitchen, which was caused by us as tenants, we require service from Höffner to replace it. We've been struggling for several months to arrange an installation appointment, but Höffner has been unable to schedule an appointment with us as customers. The only service that has been performed without our consent is subscribing to the newsletter. Our conclusion about Höffner: This is a store we cannot recommend, and one where you should definitely not purchase long-lasting products, such as kitchens.

On May 14th, an electric stove was ordered from the Altwarmbüchen branch. According to a very friendly salesperson, delivery would be within 2 weeks. Ten days later, an employee called and asked if we had received a delivery date yet. He was surprised when we answered "No" and promised to look into it. A few days later, a woman called and gave us a delivery date of 4 weeks (ATTENTION!!!). After four weeks, the stove was finally delivered. But the men who delivered the stove on June 20th are not allowed/able to connect it, even though delivery and connection were ordered. The new stove was delivered to the apartment, and we have to wait for a new date for connection and removal of the old appliance. Hopefully, this will happen before the old stove gives up the ghost.

I was there yesterday to pick up my order at the counter where the goods issue was. There was no one there, so I told the employee in the white shirt and dark trousers that I would like to pick something up. He was standing there with a colleague, and they were chatting. All I got in response was a "very nice" reply, and I should go to the manned cash register. How am I supposed to know that it would be done there? It didn't say goods issue at the cash register where my colleague was sitting. I also work in retail, and I know that it's not as nice as it used to be. But it's the tone that counts.

Bad service. Customer service is unresponsive. Sold furniture is not delivered on time. Sometimes only partially delivered. When selling, they say it will take about 8 weeks, but they don't deliver until 11 weeks later. Worst furniture store I've ever seen.

It's actually a well-stocked furniture store. Unfortunately, I had to search forever for a consultant. Five of them had gathered and preferred to talk privately. When they spotted me, they charged me for a dresser, but they seemed somewhat reluctant. I didn't get the impression that the consultant noticed that I was genuinely interested in the €3,500 sideboard. The visit was good for browsing. Finally, something that really annoys me about furniture stores in general. Just make the prices clear and understandable! All these fake discounts are annoying.

My contact was Patrick Grininger and a sales trainee. Everything went smoothly…from the contract to delivery. I don't understand most of the comments here. Sometimes you just have to be a little patient to find a consultant! Ultimately, they're just trying to do their job. Delivery time was also fine; it's normal these days for it to take several weeks. When we purchased the sofa, they said it would take 8 weeks to deliver. After 8 weeks, it turns out they weren't talking about the delivery time until we get the sofa, but rather the delivery time in the warehouse. We have to wait another 4 weeks for the sofa to be delivered to us. As compensation, they're offering us a €50 gift card. It's a joke. Customer service was totally rude and simply ended the call and hung up. I'll wait and see if the sofa really arrives in 4 weeks or if there are more surprises waiting for us. Absolutely not recommended.

We ordered a sofa in January. The saleswoman was extremely friendly, which I'd like to highlight as a positive! Unfortunately, the rest of the delivery time isn't as positive. The sofa was supposed to take 9 weeks to deliver. In the end, it took over 4 months! We made a lot of phone calls, but nothing was done. The problem actually wasn't with the manufacturer, but with Höffner's logistics company, which unfortunately could only deliver within Hanover four weeks later. Apparently, another company couldn't be hired. As a gesture of goodwill, we did receive a voucher, hence the 2 stars. Now we come to the biggest problem: the sofa was delivered, and we discovered that it was unfortunately the wrong model! So we immediately contacted the furniture store by email with all the necessary information, photos, etc. Unfortunately, there was no response. So we reminded them again. Still no response. From the delivery time issue, I already know that you can't reach customer service by phone because there's no direct line. So now we have a sofa that doesn't match the one we ordered. But we don't want to use it either, hoping Höffner will take it back at some point, if they ever read our emails. Overall, not recommended! Long wait time, and ultimately, the wrong sofa was delivered. The 2 stars are only for the nice saleswoman (she also made a lot of effort with the delivery time) and for the goodwill with the voucher.

Rarely have we experienced something so extremely unfriendly! We called about the delivery date to find out what the general process is, i.e. when the delivery date will be agreed and how far in advance you will be informed about delivery etc. We ordered locally 8 weeks ago, so we were roughly expecting delivery now. But what was worse than the lack of professional information was the incredibly unfriendly treatment of customers. The lady with the Saxon dialect was unfriendly from the start of the phone call and my husband even tried to cover that up with friendliness. The rudeness went so far that the nice lady simply ended the phone call even though there were still questions unanswered. Where do we live?!

Click & Collect – No thanks! Because I thought it would be quick and I would definitely get the item I wanted, I decided on Click & Collect today. The ordering process went great and I quickly went to Höffner during my lunch break to pick up the water bottle I ordered. Payment at the main information desk was okay. The employee there does everything slowly and precisely - nothing bothers him, but I know that from other visits. Maybe that's not a bad thing at all. After paying, he sent me to the cashier. There I should say that I would do Clic & Collect and the colleague should then make sure that I get my goods. At the checkout the nice gentleman told me that my order number would soon appear on the screen, then the gate would open and I would receive my goods. Good! So I'll wait... After about 5 minutes, the light behind the transparent roller door went out. After 9 minutes I asked the gentleman at the checkout if something else was happening or if they were perhaps making lunch, because I would have been quicker with a normal purchase. Visibly annoyed, the cashier told me that someone would be there. But then he got up, went to the roller shutter, opened it, went around the corner and... immediately appeared with my small 500ml bottle. I apologized for the inconvenience (I don't know why), but it wouldn't be so great if it took so long. Then he told me that they, I guess the employees, but I don't know, were against Click & Collect anyway. “Great!” Then I pulled away with my pull. My lunch break was overdue - that wasn't planned!

We ordered a fantastically beautiful upholstered bed online from Höffner. After a slightly longer delivery time, Höffner's own shipping company arrived. It was carried into the apartment. After the individual parts were freed from the extensive protective packaging, we did the assembly ourselves. I would order online there again, everything went very well.

I can hardly believe it! A sofa set should be delivered between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Called customer service at 2 p.m. "yes, it's still coming, there were problems with a customer". Called at 4:45 p.m. "Unfortunately I can't reach the shipping company, they're probably installing and can't answer it. You have to be patient." Called at 5:15 p.m. "The shipping company was canceled this morning, there is a new delivery date." What's this crap?! Can't you just be honest?! As if there was nothing better to do than wait 11/12 hours just because there was no honest, competent statement!!!! Never again Höffner!!! Update: My husband went to the store again in person, where he was rudely told that we were out of luck and would have to sleep on the floor, after he explained that we were using the sofa as a place to sleep. The lady then became aggressive and asked if we didn't have a bed. What's going on there ?! Aren't you ashamed?! I'm pregnant and now I'm allowed to sleep on the floor because we got the information so late and now we can't take any action! Then, from 2 p.m. onwards, they supposedly only knew that there would be no deliveries. Funny that I didn't receive this information. The sofa is still in Hamburg. Disgusting attitude, inhumane, cheeky. I can't think of anything else about it!

höffner's inability is limitless, today a sofa bed was supposed to be delivered until 2 p.m. they were put off saying it would be delayed, when I called at 4 p.m. it turned out it wasn't coming at all because the entire delivery tour was canceled in the morning..... I was supposed to receive a call 15 minutes later regarding a solution so that my pregnant wife didn't have to sleep on the floor, since the old one had to be carried into the basement.... On the call So I'm still waiting in the branch and basically all I got was a put-off because it was Saturday, there's nothing you can do now blah blah blah... The strange thing is that the boss's put-off knew about my call but there was no mention of a solution except yes someone will answer on Monday... How long should I wait for the sofa 3 weeks? How about a timely clarification of the non-delivery? So you could have reacted in some way, but apparently nobody at Höffner cares. I was promised that you would get compensation..... I'm curious, probably the reimbursement of the delivery costs or some other rubbish like that... Seriously, I would work like I would be unemployed before breakfast! One star is still too many for that

Very big compliments to Mr. Purfüst from the bed department! We felt in great hands. So that we could do the perfect test, toppers were swapped from bed to bed and pillows were put away. There was no attempt to sell us anything we didn't need. On the contrary, the cheaper bed was recommended to us so much and we are just super satisfied. The next time we buy a bed, we know who to talk to. Very nice and accommodating. Was able to convey his knowledge very well. He was able to adapt very well to his counterpart. Unfortunately, we cannot report positively about Höffner. We purchased chairs for the dining table with a solid metal frame about 4.5 years ago. The metal frame of a chair has now broken without warning. We're just glad there were no serious injuries. After we wrote to Höffner several times, customer service only told us that there was nothing they could do for us, it was outside the warranty. Legally perhaps correct, but we would have expected goodwill and a solution-oriented approach here. But even if you ask again, you just block the topic and avoid possible responsibility. In our opinion, a furniture store like Höffner should not sell such inferior material. Upon request, the procurement of spare parts was also ruled out, making it clear that we would no longer be reporting on the issue. Customer service is different.

We were there yesterday and we really liked it, the employees were in a good mood, there was a piano playing that drove through the store. We felt very comfortable and found a lot, the cashier served us very well and explained to us how the percentages work and what they apply to and so on. Actually zero stars, we are disappointed. We bought a vanity combination locally about 1.5 years ago. Now the material is peeling off and we wanted to return the washbasin. After a long wait for a call back and a long email exchange, we are offered a refund of the money, but only if we dismantle the washbasin ourselves and drive 1.5 hours back to the furniture store so that it can be scrapped on site. It would not be possible to exchange it for a new one, but the exhibit could be had as an alternative. We would have picked it up and reassembled it if we had the time and that was the only way to get the same model back. We would have been satisfied with this as a last resort (since we really wanted to have the same model again) if we hadn't had to go through the hassle of dismantling the broken washbasin at short notice and driving it to the furniture store. Then you could have picked up the exhibit and assembled it over the next few weeks if you were satisfied with the exhibit and didn't ask for the full price back (which wasn't cheap either). But this is not possible. The exchange would only be possible if the broken one was returned. Because we don't have time to reassemble the vanity at the moment, we now have to do without it completely and live with the expensive, broken vanity instead of simply getting the display piece as a "reserve" (so that you can assemble it when you find the time). In my opinion it has something to do with goodwill if you don't get the opportunity to exchange for a new one. We will definitely not buy from Höffner again.

I took part in the spice shop course today and it was very interesting and exciting on the 10th anniversary of höffner. I can absolutely recommend it and would happily do so again :)

Hands off! This furniture store is an absolute disaster! From the manager to customer service to the delivery service! One doesn't know what the other is doing, you're held back for days. Promises aren't kept! I bought a sofa on February 22nd. At first I wanted to pick it up myself in the van, but it is in the workshop, which of course the sellers don't know about. The department head, an unkempt, rude person, said I was unlucky and would have to have it delivered. One said delivery costs would be 49€, the other 59€, the other 69€...Delivery would be in 2-3 months according to the seller! I was served and went to customer service to cancel the purchase contract. They were very nice and offered to make a co-delivery. I accept this. I was told that someone would contact me by February 26th about a delivery date. However, nothing came. Today I called and was told there was no delivery, the sofa was for pickup in Altwarmbüchen. I should get in touch there. No sooner said than done, the lady called and said she had changed everything and I should now make an appointment for delivery. So called there. She said oh no, that wouldn't work now, the sofa was somewhere else... she would write down my number and someone would call me about the delivery, she couldn't access the system to make an appointment in Hanover. Just hassle with the store all the way through. They take the money but you don't get any service in return! Save your money and go to a decent store where customer service and satisfaction are still alive! You have to take care of it yourself and you will be treated rudely if you complain about it.

Starting with the incompetent kitchen saleswoman (who boasted that she was actually an architect; despite all the problems with the kitchen that lasted for months, we never heard from her after the contract was signed) to the zero service or even customer-oriented "customer" service. After 4 months the kitchen is still a construction site, subcontractors assign responsibility to each other. Among other things, we haven't had a working stovetop since December 23rd, 2024. Apart from still missing parts, bad planning etc. Kitchen now visually messed up. On a school grading scale of 1 - 6, a 7!

However, at the subsequent appointment we came to twice the price of the limit, even though we had always chosen cheaper options. During the conversation with Ms. Pia D. After a long search, we finally found comfortable dining chairs at Höffner. Unfortunately only ordered goods, delivery time 12 weeks. During the first delivery 3 out of 3 chairs were broken. The wrong chairs were delivered on the second delivery after another 8 weeks of waiting. We have now waited another 12 weeks with just one chair and can only hope that on the third try we finally get what we paid for. When we asked how Höffner ensures a flawless third delivery, we were only told that they had no power over their suppliers and could offer us to choose new chairs. Sure, and then the whole drama starts all over again? Thank you Höffner for so much effort! From our side: Never again Höffner. Addition: the third delivery also did not contain the chairs we ordered. We have now canceled the order after almost a year and are starting our search again. Never again at Höffner!

Update on my recession, which is even worse than the first time! The customer service is a complete disaster!!!! Even multiple complaint emails were answered properly once and you had the feeling that you were taken seriously as a customer. But nevertheless, this tiresome topic of kitchen is not yet over and I would like to say, I'll give it all up and buy it somewhere else! I should receive feedback at the beginning of next week. Here, too, my complaint was answered briefly and concisely. It's just ridiculous and pathetic that a company like Höffner can afford to treat its customers like that these days! You literally run after höffner and despite the anger you express, you still don't get an apology. I have the feeling that höffner doesn't need sales in the 5-digit range (without financing). The first and last time we left our money there! Simply without words! Customer service is a foreign word here! And when you read the other reviews here regarding kitchens, then the fun really begins 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ As a woman who is heavily pregnant and a man who is abroad for work, it is an absolute nightmare.

The store is a complete lying machine. We were told that we would receive the bed and bed base we purchased within a week, but even after three weeks we did not receive them. Dear team, Today my little daughter and I took an hour-long drive after announcing ourselves in advance to go shopping with you. My daughter was particularly looking forward to the children's area. We were confirmed that it was not a problem and that there were enough places available. Unfortunately, we received a very unfriendly welcome from Ms. V. on site. The communication was extremely short and distant - there was hardly any eye contact and the answers were short and unaccommodating. In the end, the children's area was apparently not accessible, so my daughter had to stop shopping, disappointed and crying. We were looking forward to a nice visit, but were very disappointed. Unfortunately, really bad customer service. Ms. M. laughs at customers on the phone when they complain about problems with delivery. You don't feel like you're being taken seriously or it contributes to a solution. Super disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. A lady like that should have no place in customer service. This has absolutely nothing to do with customer orientation. After a conversation with the supervisor, we were able to find a solution. It's a shame that this requires superiors and the employees alone are not qualified enough. The one star is only given to the super nice colleagues on the delivery team.

Very good furniture store restaurant with a huge selection and freshly cooked food! I was totally surprised when I ordered a curry and all fresh, raw vegetables came into the wok, were briefly fried and then deglazed with a prepared frozen sauce. It was delicious too!! The only drawback: they close the restaurant at 6 p.m.

We have purchased exhibition pieces that should never be delivered to a customer. All of the furniture I ordered had adhesive residue. The lighting cable was torn out of the plugs and simply stuck into the compartment without instructions. Since I don't know which cable goes with which plug and which plug has to be connected where, the lighting cannot be used for me. The remote control for the lighting has a fuse attached to it. We spent two hours removing the adhesive residue and I gave up on the lighting😞. The dresser feet were bent. There are no mounting accessories for the hanging display case.

We can only advise against purchasing. We have the Musterring JustB box spring bed! Purchased for just under 3,000 euros and a lot of things just didn't work. - The bed had a significant delivery time. - Initially, incorrect mattresses and a duvet cover that did not match the Musterring bed were delivered. The complaint dragged on for months until all the defects were finally eliminated. Our stairs were also damaged during the initial delivery, which fortunately was recognized as insurance damage by the designated Höffner freight forwarder. Unfortunately, Höffner did not respond to further procedures, despite multiple complaints and reminders. We can therefore only advise against ordering furniture in the high-price segment. Both the delivery and the communication with customer service are poor. The manufacturer Musterring should also put its continued cooperation with Höffner to the test.

I can only advise against any purchases! Customer service is an absolute disaster! We have a complaint, we updated our address in the service area and pointed out several times that the old addresses were no longer correct and had to be deleted. A service man was supposed to come to us today. We've been waiting since 7 a.m. to find out at noon that he wants to drive 300 km further to the old address. The lady in service was not authorized to change the address, this should have been done by a colleague. Then it probably didn't happen. Nobody can be reached by phone. The number just directs you to the contact form and then you cancel. We are not even able to buy another cabinet for our 2-year-old kitchen because this brand is no longer available there. But a kitchen house was able to help us immediately. Don't be tempted by discounts etc.! Buy from companies that you can also reach by phone and where service is still very important.

Politeness is enough for shopping. The agreed delivery time was no longer punctual. Came 2.5 weeks later. The customer service is unspeakably rude, arrogant and wanted to contact me 6 times (that says how much I was allowed to run behind...) and didn't contact me exactly, not even once. Quick in, quick out! I remember a few years ago, a visit to the furniture store was an experience. The children were able to run endlessly in bad weather and afterwards they ate in the restaurant. Well, I knew what I wanted, I was looking for a salesperson for the longest time. The purchase contract was printed quickly after a few operator errors on the PC/system. Services are not for everyone 🫣but make an effort 👍 and be friendly. It would be great if I had found it paperless (for the sake of the environment). But well, it doesn't all happen at once. Scheduling an appointment online worked fine, now “it” just needs to be delivered.

With more attentive staff, the place would be a better place, and I was the only customer. The food was OK. Nevertheless, it was my last visit. It is more pleasant to linger in a company canteen. Update June 2025. The spatial renovations are good for this restaurant. Very high noise level - TV and open windows. Pure street noise. Service was abysmal because the waiting staff hardly spoke German. There was nothing to complain about the food. Impeccable and tasty. Generous portions and inexpensive. July 2024 The food was consistently good and plentiful. The staff do not understand German. You could only order after asking the manager. When you paid the expected bill of 12 euros according to the display board, it was suddenly 17 euros. I pointed to the price list. It is old and out of date. I would have preferred rice instead of fries. When I ordered, I was asked whether I wanted rice or fries, but there was no mention of rice being more expensive. I didn't stress about it because it was really good. BUT, it was an issue on my previous visit, too. Unfair business practices. CONCLUSION: I won't be coming back, even though the food would be worth it.

Absolutely outrageous. €1 for the toilet and no voucher; €0.50 would have been enough. Then it says Segafreddo, a single, large machine where payment doesn't work, so you're forced to drink WMF swill, which is also expensive. People, just don't do it.

Very disappointing – not a fair TooGoodToGo offer I ordered twice today from this restaurant via TooGoodToGo and paid a total of €9. According to the description, the portions are each worth up to €27 – but that's not at all what I got. I only got some rice with a small portion of vegetarian sauce – nothing else. No meat, no vegetables, no side dishes. In the restaurant, I can clearly see that there are many different dishes available – including plenty of meat. There are several dishes in the display at the front, and at the back, fresh doner meat is being cut right from the tip and grilled. But I still don't get any of it – just plain rice with sauce. That's extremely disappointing. For the same price, I could have prepared a really good meal myself at Lidl – for example, €3 for rice and €3 for fresh vegetables. That would have been much better, fresher, and fairer. This kind of offer doesn't reflect what TooGoodToGo is all about. Unfortunately, I absolutely don't recommend it. Original review remains at the top I described my experience during my visit objectively and honestly – and unfortunately, that wasn't a fair or value-based TooGoodToGo offer. If the description promises a product value of up to €27 for two portions, then I expect to be served more than just plain rice with a little sauce – especially when it's clearly visible in the store that there are plenty of other dishes, meat, and side dishes available. As a customer, I have the right to point out grievances – especially when promises aren't kept. Even more disappointing, however, was your reaction to my criticism. Instead of seriously addressing the feedback, you gave an inappropriate and, in my opinion, disrespectful response. Constructive feedback should not be devalued – it serves to improve and is an expression of honest customer experience. I hope you will reconsider how you handle such feedback in the future and take criticism seriously.
