May 1st with live music from “sunny_side_up” was stunning and thrilled us. Dinner today as well: delicious drinks, great food, great price/performance ratio &, above all, super nice “support” from the boss team Ingo & Lara. Please keep it up and we look forward to seeing you again today. Thank you for everything!!!

Stopped in on Easter Saturday. Despite no reservation and the dining room being full, a spot was found. A good interaction between kitchen and service, despite being understaffed, it really serves the customers very harmoniously. Friendly words in between - a lovely evening. The dishes were very tasty and visually beautifully presented. We thank you and would be happy to come back. Thea & Henni

Ach Herr Jonas, ich war gestern (Samstag) selbst im Hofbräu gewesen. Sie haben (ca . 10 Kinder) nicht im Griff gehabt. Gäste haben sich beschwert und zum Teil gegangen. Die Kinder haben im ganzen Lokal fangen gespielt.habe sowas noch nie erlebt. Das Personl hatte es schwer gehabt durchzukommen ( Gaststätte war ausgebucht) Als der Gastronom was sagte wurden SIE pampig. Es ist eine Unverschämtheit hier eine negative Bewertung abzugeben! Zum Glück sind sie dann gegangen. Da war für alle Ruhe . Das beste was sie machen konnten 👍🏻 Danke an das tolle Personal und das leckere essen!

Very tasty food and very friendly staff.

Not recommended! We paid with an EC card (and tipped €4 in cash), the landlord didn't give us an EC receipt, and we discovered immediately after paying that the bill was wrong (the landlord had overcharged €14). After immediately complaining, the landlord left us (only) €10 back on the table (again without a receipt), before he disappeared again. We were both so upset that we didn't complain anymore. We now consider these 4 € as teaching money... The landlord's actions are unspeakable! This is not how you treat guests!!

Our first visit – and definitely not the last! It was our first time at the Hofbräu am Nikolaitor and we were completely thrilled! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. We immediately liked the cozy, rustic atmosphere with great attention to detail - the overall picture is just right here. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive and quick. You can tell that the work here is done with heart and that the guest is the focus. The food was a real highlight! Freshly prepared, beautifully presented and absolutely convincing in terms of taste. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is great. We can particularly recommend the onion roast roast – tender, juicy and with the perfect side dish. The beer was also excellent – ​​typical Hofbräu! For us it was an all-round successful evening that we won't soon forget. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Typically Bavarian and delicious food

It's unusual to visit a Bavarian restaurant in Thuringia, but it was worth it. A friendly host served good food at a decent price-performance ratio. The Hackepeter was unbeatable! Drinks are good at reasonable prices. We'd love to come back!

A visit is simply recommended! Food as typically Bavarian as if you were there. Delicious, absolutely priced correctly. Old Bavarian dumplings, white sausages and Kaiserschmarrn are super delicious.

We didn't eat anything here, but at least it looked good. It's a shame that it only opens from 5 p.m. and Sunday is a day of rest. But there's certainly a reason for it and the city is dead anyway. Service is great and there's no Bavarian noise going on 😉

Was there in December for dinner and a cozy get-together afterwards. I am really very satisfied with the excellent hospitality and the beer, which tasted delicious. The knuckle that I ordered was like something out of a picture book. It was big, crunchy and wonderful. I can only recommend this elegant restaurant. All the best and continued success.

This year we enjoyed our Christmas dinner here in a very cozy atmosphere. The service was courteous, quick and friendly. The dishes were enjoyed by both adults and children. We felt well entertained by our waitress Lara and she also knew how to get the shy children out of themselves and place their orders independently. The little ones particularly liked this. We will be happy to book the location for our family meals in the future.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food or atmosphere, as there were ten of us standing in front of the closed door last night despite having requested reservations several times.

A very, very rude lady at the counter this evening threw my friend and I out just because we overheard that she didn't want any walk-in customers and we mentioned it. SHE replied that there were groups of 71 pax and that she needed the seat, even though the nice waiter had shown us the seat, she apparently didn't like the fact that I had replied that it wasn't nice to talk to customers like that, she was so rude and said to leave My restaurant straight away........all you can say is RUDE HIGH 10. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!

Very good Thuringian and Bavarian German cuisine, high-quality food is processed here and the portions of the dishes are large, so if you want to enjoy a dessert you will have a hard time finishing your plate. The service is professional and you are completely satisfied with your wishes. The ambience is, in my opinion, simply wonderful to look at. One of the most beautiful places in Eisenach.

The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was very friendly and motivated, but a bit overwhelmed when operating outside. Boss quaint. Dark Radler is way better than the Eisenacher Pils and the Eisenacher Eselsbier! Unfortunately, outdoor dining on the busy street.

It was very crowded. Nevertheless, we still got a place. The waiting time for the food was fine for us. It was relatively tasty and the selection is very large. The service was very friendly and accommodating And it got nice after dinner. Without asking, we were given four shot glasses on the table. Our advice that we hadn't ordered these was ignored, so we assumed that they were on the house. That wasn't the case, it was a mistake, that wouldn't be a big deal, but then we asked if we wanted to pay it, and of course we said no. As we then found out, I have to pay the waitress even for the mistake. We found that very unfair of the landlord. We get dirty looks from him when we leave the restaurant. Unfortunately we can only agree with other reviews that the service, ambience and food are okay. Unfortunately the innkeeper doesn't work at all.

Hello girls, It was a pleasure for us to experience your warm atmosphere and hospitality during our visit to the Hofbräuhaus. And also for being so kind to dogs and allowing them to come along. The food was, as expected (mostly Bavarian cuisine), very good and the portion was completely okay. We felt treated very well and attentively. I can't say anything about the food etc., we didn't get that far. At the restaurant itself you will find various opening times, e.g. E.g. Monday to Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on another it says Sunday and Monday are closed and on the Internet then Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are closed. Surprisingly, the restaurant is usually open and you get the impression that you would be welcome, but when we entered we were told very rudely that it was a closed society. You can also show your ID at the door. We didn't visit the restaurant anymore.

Delicious food, very nice female service! However, the tapper was rarely funny and was more interested in making sales and forced us to drink beer at his supposed regulars' table. Hello everyone, We had a fun evening. After we (a group of 5) were seated at a table that was too small and we wanted to move around, we were seated at THE regular table. A very nice table in the middle of the restaurant, but you MUST drink Maas there. So we got 3 wheat and a shandy in liter format. The service from Lara (waitress) was very good and was very friendly. The food was also very good! However, the pressure of the glass vulture because of the Maas format was very strenuous and we felt pretty fooled. Bottom line, great service (Lara), good food and a grumpy host. Cheers

We ate there twice during our vacation. The landlord and the waitress are very friendly. The food was great and served quickly. Personally, I found the Kaiserschmarrn incredibly tasty. Very inviting restaurant with a well-known Bavarian style. The menu is typically Bavarian (and really authentic!), and is supplemented with local specialties. The service is extremely friendly and very on point. The food came very quickly (but we were there shortly after 5 p.m.). The Wiener Schnitzel (veal of course) was as it should be - with the best breading and simply incredibly tasty. The beer is of course also very tasty. If you eat in Eisenach, you shouldn't miss this restaurant!

The only thing missing was a little background music. But otherwise it was a nice stay. By the way, Kaiserschmarren is a must-have for all lovers!
