A quaint inn, the food was delicious, and we found it cozy. The kitchen is open all day, which I think is good, as we were still able to have lunch after 2:00 PM.

A very nice inn with a rustic atmosphere. The beer garden feels cozy, but we sat inside because of the weather. It had a wonderfully old-fashioned feel – exactly what we wanted to experience on vacation and, in a good way, a bit more special than "normal" old-style inns. The spaetzle were delicious, with typical strong cheese. The post coachman's steak was juicy, and the sauce was especially excellent. You could taste the quality. The soups were also good and generous. They were accompanied by delicious local beer, currant spritzer, and really friendly and attentive service. We thought €55 for two main courses, two soups, and two drinks was reasonable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful historic restaurant. Friendly staff. I had a 47-piece schnitzel with fried potatoes. The portion was large and more than sufficient, and I thought the price was reasonable. I deducted my rating for the side dish: it was supposed to be fried potatoes, but they were taken out of the pan just as quickly as they were added.

I'm writing this for Japanese people. I recommend you don't go there. The service was just average. As others have said, it took 40 minutes for the food to come, which is actually a bit of a downside. The atmosphere was good. The place was busy, and everyone was smiling. The problem is the quality and taste. The meat was dry, probably cooked quite a while ago, so I left half of it. It was described as shoulder meat, but I think that's probably not the case. There was no fat at all. And despite it being described as a cream sauce, it was covered in some mysterious sauce. I was disappointed. I recommend not going there.

Hello, we were there for a classic car convention and wanted something to eat afterward. We got our food an hour later. My wife wanted mayo and ketchup with her fries, but she didn't get it. The table next to us still hadn't had any food after an hour, and they paid for their drinks and left without food! We overrated the table clearing. Never again!!!

Super nice beer garden under chestnut trees. We had a crispy, juicy schnitzel with good meat. Delicious, spicy Allgäu cheese spaetzle—just how they should be—and for the kids, currywurst and spaetzle with sauce. Highly recommended. Drinks for children are a bit cheaper. Very friendly waiter.

What a fantastic place! We stopped by chance and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and the portions were huge! The beer was excellent (even the alcohol free one for the driver...). They were very helpful as we did not speak German. We met some locals who were celebrating Father's day and they were absolutely brilliant. So much fun! All in all a great night with great food and great company. The only disappointment was when we were talking in the car and there was some confusion between me and my husband about tips. We did not leave any! We were mortified. Sorry guys!!

There wasn't much going on, which I can understand given the food. For the prices I expect a homemade schnitzel... I was surprised by the convenience of the small menu. We ate there on December 4th, 2024. The restaurant itself is pretty quaint, if you like that sort of thing. Not much going on wasn't such a good sign. The waiter was friendly and made a lot of effort and responded immediately. Now to the food and therefore to absolutely advise against this restaurant. I ordered a schnitzel with fries for over €17. I was actually expecting a homemade schnitzel that was fried in vegetable oil (with a flake of butter). Zero craftsmanship, just convenience products. The Kaiserschmarn was ok, but I think it was just a convenience sponge. I don't have to go out to eat and I can do it 10x better at home. Another positive thing to say is that the menu doesn't have a large selection, which is always a good thing, but it's all the more sad that convenience is used here. It's better to increase your food prices by 2-3 euros and make it fresh with crafts and people will run you out of business but that way you can close your shop soon.

So it's really nice outside, the service was friendly but the food (I ordered a steak with sauce) was so well. Not necessarily a bad thing, but everything was out of the package and the salad was completely unseasoned. and for the price (35 euros for cheap wine, fries and a rather dry schnitzel) I would have expected more. This is a beautiful, historic inn. We were a very large group (approx. 120 people!) and stopped there for breakfast! Everything tasted wonderful and went like clockwork! The waitresses were very friendly and attentive! The buffet was set with many delicacies and there were also scrambled eggs and fried eggs! We were very satisfied and would love to come back! Rustic economy, my husband's roast onion was very good 👍, but my schnitzel was certainly frozen, and the salad could be spiced better, the salad sauce could be better!

If 4 small schnitzels have the same shape and size, then the Wiener schnitzels are probably from the freezer and that's how they tasted. Well, there is a salad with it, but homemade schnitzels can also cost 17.90 euros. But we were lucky to still be served after 2 p.m. We were turned away at three restaurants beforehand. Actually a shame for the holiday destination of Bavaria.

You don't really have to write much, because you have to see, experience and enjoy this inn for yourself... Friendliness, quality, attention and value for money - pretty much everything is right here, just let yourself get involved...

We sat unnoticed in the beer garden for about 15 minutes. We fled because of the high noise level of the cars rushing past on the main road. Unbearable. When I read some of the reviews here, I'm glad I went.

We stopped there while passing through. Quickly checked reviews and found it to be ok. Quaint inn. Service was both very friendly and the food came in a timely manner. Upon request, a margarita was made with just olive in kindergarten (the size of a cake plate). Pizza was good. Children's kässpätzle €8.50 were an acceptable size, but the strong cheese was missing. Spaetzle wasn't fresh and tasted like it had been made yesterday. Salad was very very bitter. Fries were good, wusa was too salty and that for 15€. Pig farms are good except for the Spätzle, which is borderline pricey. Unfortunately feeling of chaos in terms of taste. Price together 73€ with 2 anti-alcohol and 1 beer. We won't come again. The 2 stars are for cleanliness and friendliness of the service.
