Restaurant Hirsch Isny in Isny im Allgäu

Innen mega gemütlich. Service direkt und super nett. Dann kam das Essen, leider viel zu schnell. Mein Steak war wirklich gut 👍, zart. Gemüse verbrannt. Nicht röst Aromen, verbrannt. Der spargel war für uns als spargelbauern- Familie indiskutabel. Wird vorgekocht und aufgewärmt. Labbrig und bitter. Wir haben sofort Ersatz erhalten, sehr professionelle Dame im Service. Insgesamt doch gastro, in die man regelmäßig gehen kann. Sauber und gemütlich. Preise etwas gehoben, aber dem Ambiente angemessen. Spargel kann man als Vorbereitung schälen und feucht kühl lagern, dann auf Bestellung bissfest kochen. Nicht anders. Ist sonst schade drum. Zum spargel gehört hochwertiger gekochter schinken und braune Butter. Und ein guter Riesling. Guten Appetit!

Von mir gibt es für diesen Besuch voll 5 Sterne in jeder Kategorie. Mein Putensteak mit Grillgemüse und Reis war der Hammer! Super saftig, das Gemüse auf den Punkt gegrillt! Tolle Aromen und schön angerichtet. Dazu war die Kellnerin super freundlich und sympathisch! Wir kommen wieder!

Waren heute Mittag zu fünft da und es war einfach nur toll. Wir hatten das Schnitzel, ein Cordon Blue, einmal die Spargel-Ravioli und einmal Spargel mit Schnitzel. Schnelles Fazit, alles 1A. Zudem wollten zwei sich die Portion Ravioli teilen und es wurde aktiv von der Kellnerin gefragt, ob man das dann auf zwei Teller machen solle. Super zuvorkommend, einfach toll. Generell das Ambiente auf der Terasse war wunderschön und der Service wirklich außergewöhnlich nett. Das einzige Mini Manko meines Erachtens war, dass der Kaiserschmarrn zwar super knusprig und schön speckig war, aber der Teig an sich hätte ein wenig süßer sein können. Sonst alles top. Ich würde sagen wir haben im Schnitt ca. 35€ pro Person ausgegeben. Natürlich ist das nicht sonderlich günstig, aber wer die Portionen sieht weiß sofort, dass das ein sehr fairer Preis ist. Empfehlung auf jeden Fall. Jeder der im Umkreis von 25km lebt oder Urlaub macht, sollte sich was Gutes tun und dort mal einkehren🤝

Top Küche, grosse Portionen und sehr freundlicher Service

Spontan waren wir im Restaurant „Hirsch“ in Isny im Allgäu und hatten Glück, noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. Der Service war von Anfang an herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war ein echter Genuss,alles hausgemacht und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Auch der Nachtisch war hervorragend. Ein rundum gelungener Abend. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team,wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Schnitzel waren sehr gut. Die Limonade könnte etwas besser sein. Sie war mir nicht süß genug, aber vielleicht wäre eine gesündere Alternative besser.

Bestes Deutsches Lokal weit und breit

Die Speisen hätten etwas heißer sein können.

In einer Gruppe mit 5 Personen waren alle sehr begeistert von ihren Gerichten. Egal ob das extrem zarte Rumpsteak on Point, ein toller Salatteller mit Burata oder Spargel mit Lachsforelle: wirklich top Qualität, gute Portionsgröße bei gehobenem Niveau zu gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service war sehr freundlich und sehr schnell, Tip top. Werden bald wiederkommen!

Tolles Restaurant! Bodenständige Landküche mit modernen Akzenten auf hohem handwerklichen Niveau. Auch die vegetarischen Optionen sind nicht wie in vielen Landgasthöfen nur Alibi, sondern mit Verstand und Liebe komponiert und zubereitet. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich. Rustikal-Modernes Ambiente.

Durch Zufall gefunden. Sehr schönes Ambiente mit super freundlichem Service. Das Essen, Schluzkrapfen und Wildbraten, waren sehr lecker und auch hervorragend angerichtet. Wir werden den "Hirsch" auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und auch selbst wieder besuchen.

Eine wunderschöne, gemütliche Ambiente und das Essen ist ein wahrer Augenschmaus und ist ein Genuss. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Sehr gerne schauen wir wieder mal vorbei.

Leider waren wir insgesamt nicht zufrieden. Die Weihnachtskarte war unserer Meinung nach deutlich zu teuer, und die Auswahl – insbesondere für Vegetarier – sehr begrenzt. Zudem war das Besteck am Tisch verschmutzt, Kinderkarte gab es nur auf Nachfrage. Besonders enttäuschend war, dass unser Tisch trotz telefonischer Zusage Stunden zuvor ab 19 Uhr weitervergeben wurde. Auch die Qualität des Essens konnte den Preis nicht rechtfertigen (Schnitzel und Blaukraut). Insgesamt hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für uns nicht gepasst.

Fantastic regional cuisine. The onion roast beef was delicious! The Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) were divine. The decor is very high-quality – a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

A culinary highlight with regional charm! This German restaurant impresses with a lovingly curated menu and an atmosphere that invites you to linger. I was particularly impressed by the Schlutzkrapfen (scramblers) – perfectly al dente, delicately filled, and served with an aromatic butter and sage sauce. A true delight that demonstrates how sophisticated German cuisine can be. The service was attentive and warm, the ambiance cozy and authentic. You can tell that the food is cooked with passion and that the hospitality culture is lived here. A place I would happily recommend – for connoisseurs who appreciate quality and tradition. Although the prices here are quite high for Isny.

This was our BEST meal during our cycling trip in Allgau ! We felt that German food in the area was relatively uninteresting, blunt until we ate here (we had some disappointing experience in several restaurants during the cycling trip). The beautiful waitress was super sweet, welcomed us with a happy smile (rare these days when restaurant is busy) and took our orders super fast and food arrived so fast - literally FASTER than fast food...amazingggg...haha We enjoyed our dinner ! THANK YOU WAITRESS !

Everything was perfect. We were there today. The kids had spaetzle and were able to paint. We had fish and pasta with burrata. For sweets, we had chocolate cake and Kaiserschmarrn. The coffee was also excellent. We're already thinking about coming back tomorrow. The inside was also very nice and clean, including the restrooms.

Great restaurant in the heart of town. We happened to stop by the terrace after an excursion. The food (spätzle) was delicious, and they also had a children's portion of fries for €4. The portion was more for two adults. It's great what you get for the money here. The service was also very friendly. If we're ever in Isny again, we'll stop by.

I ate here two evenings in a row, and both times it was really good. I highly recommend the cordon bleu and the two local game dishes. The dishes at neighboring tables also looked wonderful, with a selection that offers something for everyone. Friendly service and a lovely ambiance in the historic old town are just as much a part of the experience as a wide selection of drinks. All in all, a very good place and I highly recommend it.

Good Allgäu food in a restaurant with a nice ambience

We were there as part of a culinary city tour. There was a delicious aperitif.

A few days ago, four of us came here for dinner. I have to say, everything was top-notch. The food was super delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We didn't wait long, and everyone was able to start at the same time. The children were also given great attention. They were immediately given something to draw—just a quick tip: feel free to include a sharpener. The one included is for thick pencils :D By the way... But that's just nitpicking. The children were also given small cutlery, and they immediately asked whether they wanted greens or not. We definitely recommend it. We'll be back :)

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and harmonious dinner at the Hirsch Restaurant in Isny. The dishes were all of very good quality and superbly flavorful, including the super-tender and soft Wiener Schnitzel and a top-notch rump steak in cognac sauce with delicious, firm vegetables. The ambiance was also impressive, with comfortable upholstered chairs and cozy lighting in the dining room. The service was also very approachable and extremely friendly. It was a lovely evening – we would definitely go back! P.S.: Only the artificial flowers on the table and in the windows were a bit disconcerting and didn't really fit the concept. But compared to the other extremely positive impressions, this is more of a minor flaw :-)

We've eaten here several times and always received very friendly service. There's a large terrace and a cozy dining room. The food is delicious; we'll be happy to come back.

We had reserved and came with a relatively large group of 12 people including children. The service was smooth and friendly. The food came quite quickly and at the same time. They were also really tasty, albeit very hearty, dishes. However, the inn was very warm and stuffy and quite a noisy environment. That was a bit of a shame. The restaurant has been renovated in a really nice and cozy way, but there is only one men's toilet for a lot of places, which I absolutely can't understand. Otherwise highly recommended.

There is still real cooking going on there. Delicious. Reservation recommended.

This is the second time we have been to the Hirsch and we are still thrilled. We were warmly welcomed and served very friendly throughout our stay. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy. The food was excellent. The meat cooked to perfection. Price-performance is right! We'd love to come back.

I gave it a moderate rating because the food and service have always been good in the past. Today we left without eating because we had a table in the entrance area right next to the door, despite having made a reservation in October. The second time... probably happens when there are only two of you. Every time the door opens you get a full blast of cold air. No matter how good the food is, unfortunately that's not possible! We actually drive 2 hours every year for our wedding anniversary, but we'd better think about that in the future.

So yesterday's food wasn't good. For the price you should present quality on the plate. It wasn't for our palate, service was ok, only you should be asked about the degree of doneness when you order a steak.

We've been to the deer restaurant several times and there's been a breakdown. All in all, we are very enthusiastic about the food here and the service (especially Frauke) is super nice and friendly. We also like the cozy atmosphere. We always enjoy coming back for dinner.

Let's start with the least important: The ambience is great. Isny is a lovely little town and you can fully enjoy it from the beautifully furnished terrace. The service was also great. Our waitress was in a very good mood and did a very good job otherwise. And now about the food: Excellent. Good value for money for the quality you get and very tasty. My special request to have Kasspatzn as a side dish instead of fries was no problem at all. If I ever come to Isny ​​again, I would love to come back!
