We had dinner there several times in May and fell in love with the house. Super nice service staff. This weekend I was a guest at the hotel and was thrilled. Delicious buffet for breakfast. For me personally, the coffee machine was the highlight. Freshly ground coffee. Yummy. I was able to take beautiful walks directly from the hotel, through the reeds and the moor. I'm already looking forward to the next time.

As guests of the restaurant, we were very impressed by the food, service, ambience and family friendliness. Thanks to the playroom for the kids, the whole family could enjoy the evening in the restaurant in a relaxed manner.

We were looking for horses in the Allgäu and were recommended by locals and I can only pass on this recommendation. A beautiful, largely regional menu, very successful ambience and very nice service. Fantastic facilities and quality food at a decent price. The rooms are very nice, with a calm modern style. The showers are excellent, good temperature, and a good water stream. The washing machine is a nice bonus and free WiFi is never bad. The WiFi at this establishment is some of the best I have experienced. The quality of the food is good and the portions are big. For the amount of food you get and the quality of it, it is a very good price. I did not have so much to do with the customer service. But what interactions I did have were very positive. All in all, this is an excellent place to come to if you need a room while on vacation, or if you just want something to eat in a nice environment. Note: This is also a family-run buisness which I quite like.

Very nice terrace, which seemed closed, but when asked it was no problem to sit down and eat there, even though it was very busy inside (weather wasn't so good). Food very tasty and very friendly service. Terrace is right on the street and the parking lot, although there was little traffic there (Sunday). Could possibly be disruptive on weekdays. All in all very good!

Very nice country inn - newly renovated in many areas. The rooms are quite large and nothing to be desired in the bathroom either. The host family is very nice and accommodating - you have the good feeling of being welcome from the first moment. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired - everything is freshly prepared. The restaurant confirms its good reputation - all dishes are freshly prepared and we ate very well. After our third stay, we can safely say that we will definitely come back - if the price/performance ratio is right anywhere - then it would be to the Landgasthaus zum Kreuz.

INN and CATERING We and our guests were thrilled. We had catering for my husband's 40th birthday. All 88 guests enjoyed it. The food was delivered and set up on time. Marco and his wife were really nice and helped us choose the food. We had roast pork, sliced ​​turkey with spaetzle and potato gratin and colorful vegetables. We can 100% recommend the catering and food.

The location of the Landgasthof Kreuz is great, just a short bike ride to Isny, Wangen, Kempten is no problem. The service staff was super friendly. Rooms are new and clean. Great, good bourgeois cuisine. Something for everyone in the price range. We'd love to come back.

Surprisingly spacious, comfortable room (part of a holiday apartment). Unfortunately no soap or similar available. Shower very spacious. Everything was spotlessly clean! Windows with fly screens, which enabled us to leave windows open at night without being attacked by annoying pests. Breakfast buffet usual offer, very good coffee. Staff very friendly and approachable. Perfect service. The in-house restaurant is fully recommended. The only downside: One of the two pillows is made of "foam balls" - unfortunately very uncomfortable to sleep on.

We spent two next days in the superior double room and were thoroughly impressed. The entire building is very modern and cozy, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. My personal highlight, however, was the food in the restaurant and the breakfast, as gluten-free food is no problem here and the owner family is very familiar with celiac disease due to their own situation. Very tasty cordon bleu, great cheese spaetzle and even Kaiserschmarren were a real experience for me. As a celib, I haven't eaten anything so good and, above all, uncomplicated for a long time. There was also plenty of choice at breakfast. The overall experience was definitely great, as soon as we are back in the area we will definitely come back.

We had lunch here as a family and were very satisfied. Whether salad, meat or dessert, everything seemed to be of the best quality and we enjoyed it very much. Service was friendly and attentive. There is a small playground for children outside and a playroom inside.

We booked a double room with breakfast for 2 nights here. The room was very nice and modern, the bed was very comfortable. Since there is no air conditioning under the roof, you were forced to open the windows, which meant there were a lot of mosquitoes in the room. Unfortunately there was no fly screen. The breakfast was good, unfortunately things like rolls, scrambled eggs and salmon were always empty and you had to wait until new things came. Unfortunately, the 7 small rolls and 5 eggs were gone as quickly as you could see. It's a shame because the rest was really convincing.

We stayed in holiday apartment 4 for 10 days, everything was great, including the restaurant and staff. If there were more stars you would have deserved them. We have been coming regularly almost every year for 10 years and it has always been great

We were there for dinner (without a hotel) and can't understand the good reviews. The food was okay, but rather average, but completely overpriced! The menu specifically states that if you have allergies you should ask the staff and the owners themselves are affected (gluten). However, they seemed rather overwhelmed when ordering. The sauce was initially simply left out of the dish, and only when I asked was I given a quickly mixed instant sauce. Breading schnitzel without eggs is not possible. I do offer tutoring. It's a shame that someone who is affected himself and works professionally in the kitchen has so little idea of ​​alternatives. It wouldn't be difficult, you just have to deal with it. You then have to pay an extra €2 for this! The crowning glory was the service, after our food was on the table we were completely ignored, it was not possible to order drinks again, the side salad was simply forgotten for two out of four dishes. For this, only two euros were deducted from the bill. Unfortunately a real disappointment. It was noticeable that everyone was overwhelmed by the number of guests. Then maybe it's better not to let in so many guests. We were very disappointed and will definitely not come again.

An insider tip for good gastronomy! During my several weeks of rehab I went there to eat many times. I tried different foods and everything was very tasty. The portion size is perfect. And if you don't manage to do everything, the rest is packed up. Thank you very much for that. Although we always sat outside, the inside area is also very tastefully and invitingly decorated. I always felt very comfortable. Unfortunately all the rooms were fully booked, I would have liked to accommodate my family. I'll definitely be back soon 😊

We moved into one of the holiday apartments as a family. The apartment's facilities are excellent, including a washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the service is very friendly. There is a playroom and a playground for the kids. So the all-round carefree package for parents.

Once again we had a lovely long weekend. Everything new and renovated with taste. Towels available. Great restaurant with very good cuisine. Perfect location for various bike tours in the area. A beautiful swimming lake is nearby. Absolute recommendation!!!

With a clear conscience I can give full marks in all areas. We stayed in a holiday apartment here for a week. This has recently been completely redesigned and renovated and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of style, furnishings and cleanliness. The attached inn serves top-notch service, very tasty home-style cooking but also pizza. All in all, all I can do is repeat all the positive points from the previous reviews, but I'll give it a go.

I was on holiday with my partner in holiday apartment number 7 for 7 days in June 2024. The holiday apartment was nice and big and the cleanliness was TOP. Were warmly welcomed and looked after. And we always enjoyed the breakfast buffet before we went on excursions. Can only highly recommend it and nothing can be said for the price/performance ratio. We are looking forward to our next vacation when we are there again.

We spontaneously stayed at the Landgasthof zum Kreuz for two days with breakfast. A modern, excellent, family-friendly and very, very nice team. The food and ambience exceeded our expectations. Very, very good cuisine and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The apartment is very spacious and modernly furnished. We'll definitely come back here.

We went racing bikes in the Allgäu for 3 days! The inn is just right for that! We were welcomed very friendly! Even though we arrived early and at lunchtime on a Sunday - the restaurant was very full - we were shown the holiday apartment straight away, including an uncomplicated key handover! The apartment is newly renovated, very nice! Particularly noteworthy is the super comfortable bed! Everyone was very friendly throughout the entire stay! We felt completely comfortable! We know that Swabian cuisine has priority there, but these days, vegetarians ;-) still have a bit of room for improvement :-) We will be back!!

We spent the night with our family on the outward journey to Austria. Nice cozy welcome downstairs in the restaurant. The rooms are nice and new. Being able to eat deliciously and recover from the journey. Walked around in the morning and the area is rural and vast. In the summer this is probably beautifully green and close to a swimming lake.

The inn is very large inside, which means you have enough space and don't sit too close together. There is also an outdoor area that is perfect in summer and also offers plenty of space. There is also a small playground outside for the little ones. The guest room and the outdoor area are pleasantly decorated and invite you to linger. The food on offer is excellent, plentiful and there is something for every taste. The menu is clear but with plenty of choice. There is something for everybody :) The staff is friendly and courteous. The toilets are clean and well maintained. It's a pleasure to dine here, which is why I can only recommend it and will definitely come back!!!

Actually a great restaurant with great food, but the service with a cold and a total cold (without a mask - of course) ... an absolute no-go. After the landlord and owner asked for advice, they didn't seem to understand, "No one gets infected with a slight cold" (as he said).

Wir sind hier spontan im Urlaub Essen gewesen und waren schlichtweg begeistert! Wir sind daraufhin noch ein zweites Mal dort und es war gleichermaßen toll. Wenn es voll wird, dauert es manchmal etwas länger, aber das Personal ist derart freundlich und zuvorkommend, dass man das getrost vergisst. Man hat sich sogar ganz von allein bei uns für die längere Wartezeit entschuldigt. Neben dem sehr sympathisch Service ist auch die Qualität der Speisen herausragend. Ich habe selten so köstlich gegessen und getrunken!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier, weil es uns beim ersten mal schon sehr gut gefallen hat. Hier können wir auch unseren Hund mitbringen, das gibt es nicht oft. Diesmal hatten wir ein Zimmer im Haupthaus, alles schön renoviert und gemütlich. Das Abendessen war wie immer köstlich, das gesamte Team sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Und der morgendliche Spaziergang runter zum Großen Ursee einfach einmalig.
