We immediately felt at home in the beautiful apartment... the Mayer family is really nice and the staff are super friendly. We were there with our 🐕 Maxi and everything was perfect... we'd love to come back 🥰

We stayed in holiday apartment 4 for 10 days, everything was great, including the restaurant and staff. If there were more stars you would have deserved them. We have been coming regularly almost every year for 10 years and it has always been great

We were there for dinner (without a hotel) and can't understand the good reviews. The food was okay, but rather average, but completely overpriced! The menu specifically states that if you have allergies you should ask the staff and the owners themselves are affected (gluten). However, they seemed rather overwhelmed when ordering. The sauce was initially simply left out of the dish, and only when I asked was I given a quickly mixed instant sauce. Breading schnitzel without eggs is not possible. I do offer tutoring. It's a shame that someone who is affected himself and works professionally in the kitchen has so little idea of ​​alternatives. It wouldn't be difficult, you just have to deal with it. You then have to pay an extra €2 for this! The crowning glory was the service, after our food was on the table we were completely ignored, it was not possible to order drinks again, the side salad was simply forgotten for two out of four dishes. For this, only two euros were deducted from the bill. Unfortunately a real disappointment. It was noticeable that everyone was overwhelmed by the number of guests. Then maybe it's better not to let in so many guests. We were very disappointed and will definitely not come again.

The food is always good here and you get very large portions. The only thing I don't think is the cheese pätzle is that good, they're usually not as "schlonzig" as you know from grandma and mom.

An insider tip for good gastronomy! During my several weeks of rehab I went there to eat many times. I tried different foods and everything was very tasty. The portion size is perfect. And if you don't manage to do everything, the rest is packed up. Thank you very much for that. Although we always sat outside, the inside area is also very tastefully and invitingly decorated. I always felt very comfortable. Unfortunately all the rooms were fully booked, I would have liked to accommodate my family. I'll definitely be back soon 😊

The highlight for me as a celiac disease sufferer was the opportunity to order many dishes gluten-free. Even gluten-free spaetzle made a day in advance! Good cuisine at a fair price. The guest rooms are newly renovated and up to date. In short, we felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.

We moved into one of the holiday apartments as a family. The apartment's facilities are excellent, including a washing machine and a well-equipped kitchen. The food in the restaurant is excellent and the service is very friendly. There is a playroom and a playground for the kids. So the all-round carefree package for parents.

Once again we had a lovely long weekend. Everything new and renovated with taste. Towels available. Great restaurant with very good cuisine. Perfect location for various bike tours in the area. A beautiful swimming lake is nearby. Absolute recommendation!!!

With a clear conscience I can give full marks in all areas. We stayed in a holiday apartment here for a week. This has recently been completely redesigned and renovated and leaves nothing to be desired in terms of style, furnishings and cleanliness. The attached inn serves top-notch service, very tasty home-style cooking but also pizza. All in all, all I can do is repeat all the positive points from the previous reviews, but I'll give it a go.

Hello to everyone who wants to eat well. We had dinner here with 16 people in June. Despite a wedding and a completely full restaurant, we were served quickly and very friendly. The food came quickly and we all enjoyed it excellently. I think the prices are very reasonable. The ambience of the inn is more than successful. (Congratulations). I can recommend it with a clear conscience. PS: Big compliments to the staff and kitchen, keep it up. We would also like to come a 4th time.

I was on holiday with my partner in holiday apartment number 7 for 7 days in June 2024. The holiday apartment was nice and big and the cleanliness was TOP. Were warmly welcomed and looked after. And we always enjoyed the breakfast buffet before we went on excursions. Can only highly recommend it and nothing can be said for the price/performance ratio. We are looking forward to our next vacation when we are there again.

We spontaneously stayed at the Landgasthof zum Kreuz for two days with breakfast. A modern, excellent, family-friendly and very, very nice team. The food and ambience exceeded our expectations. Very, very good cuisine and the breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The apartment is very spacious and modernly furnished. We'll definitely come back here.

We were greeted and welcomed very friendly. We were particularly enthusiastic about our room with bathroom. The food is delicious. Unfortunately we were only there for two nights, but we have booked again for the summer. We can highly recommend it.

We went racing bikes in the Allgäu for 3 days! The inn is just right for that! We were welcomed very friendly! Even though we arrived early and at lunchtime on a Sunday - the restaurant was very full - we were shown the holiday apartment straight away, including an uncomplicated key handover! The apartment is newly renovated, very nice! Particularly noteworthy is the super comfortable bed! Everyone was very friendly throughout the entire stay! We felt completely comfortable! We know that Swabian cuisine has priority there, but these days, vegetarians ;-) still have a bit of room for improvement :-) We will be back!!

We spent the night with our family on the outward journey to Austria. Nice cozy welcome downstairs in the restaurant. The rooms are nice and new. Being able to eat deliciously and recover from the journey. Walked around in the morning and the area is rural and vast. In the summer this is probably beautifully green and close to a swimming lake.

The inn is very large inside, which means you have enough space and don't sit too close together. There is also an outdoor area that is perfect in summer and also offers plenty of space. There is also a small playground outside for the little ones. The guest room and the outdoor area are pleasantly decorated and invite you to linger. The food on offer is excellent, plentiful and there is something for every taste. The menu is clear but with plenty of choice. There is something for everybody :) The staff is friendly and courteous. The toilets are clean and well maintained. It's a pleasure to dine here, which is why I can only recommend it and will definitely come back!!!

Actually a great restaurant with great food, but the service with a cold and a total cold (without a mask - of course) ... an absolute no-go. After the landlord and owner asked for advice, they didn't seem to understand, "No one gets infected with a slight cold" (as he said).

Delighted with the quality of the Allgäu cheese schnitzel and the grill plate. Exceptionally delicious. The grill plate could contain a little more meat. The service was also very friendly. Unfortunately, the choice of seats was a bit poor, we had to take a middle seat because we didn't have a reservation. Although there were still many more places available. So it's always better to reserve in advance. We can only recommend it. We'd love to come back

Wir sind hier spontan im Urlaub Essen gewesen und waren schlichtweg begeistert! Wir sind daraufhin noch ein zweites Mal dort und es war gleichermaßen toll. Wenn es voll wird, dauert es manchmal etwas länger, aber das Personal ist derart freundlich und zuvorkommend, dass man das getrost vergisst. Man hat sich sogar ganz von allein bei uns für die längere Wartezeit entschuldigt. Neben dem sehr sympathisch Service ist auch die Qualität der Speisen herausragend. Ich habe selten so köstlich gegessen und getrunken!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal hier, weil es uns beim ersten mal schon sehr gut gefallen hat. Hier können wir auch unseren Hund mitbringen, das gibt es nicht oft. Diesmal hatten wir ein Zimmer im Haupthaus, alles schön renoviert und gemütlich. Das Abendessen war wie immer köstlich, das gesamte Team sehr freundlich und serviceorientiert. Und der morgendliche Spaziergang runter zum Großen Ursee einfach einmalig.

Bestes Hotel, wunderschön renoviert und alles sehr sauber. Das Essen und der Service im Restaurant sind einfach nur spitze (#besterZwiebelrostbratendenichjegegessenhab) Vielen dank für alles und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können ihr Haus mit Restaurant nur mit 5 Sterne bewerten (10 Sterne wären angebrachter).

Zimmer: Sind 1a , man kann deutlich sehen das die Corona Zeit genutzt wurde . Alles frisch renoviert im Top Zustand. Service Total nettes Personal , essen schmeckt sehr gut und die Portionen sind super . Bier sehr gut , obwohl noch nie getrunken , super. Standort Mega, Liegt aber sicher auch an dem gerade reichlich gefallenen Schnee. Einfach herlich , am ersten Tag direkt 2h spazieren gegangen . Nur das ich den Hund nicht mitnehmen konnte , macht das für mich zu einem 99% Erlebnis

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt im Landgasthof zum Kreuz in Beuren! Die moderne Atmosphäre hat uns sehr gut gefallen und das Zimmer war absolut erstklassig - geräumig, komfortabel und modern stilvoll eingerichtet. Die Ruhe im Hotel hat zu einer erholsamen Zeit beigetragen. Das Restaurant war ein echtes Highlight – das Essen war köstlich, die Portionen groß, die Karte ist vielfältig und trotz der Qualität preiswert. Das Personal ist unheimlich freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück gab es eine umfangreiche Auswahl, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Die Lage des Hotels und die Annehmlichkeiten haben unseren Aufenthalt wirklich perfekt gemacht. Wir können das Hotel Kreuz jedem empfehlen, der eine tolle Unterkunft in Beuren oder dem Allgäu bei Isny sucht. Eine echte Perle, die wir da gefunden haben.

Fahren eine halbe Stunde nur um hier zu essen, damit sollte auch schon alles gesagt sein :) Das Essen ist total super, schön angerichtet und das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Das Restaurant an sich ist noch sehr neu und wunderschön eingerichtet, nicht altmodisch aber auch nicht total modern, ein bisschen von beidem was es sehr angenehm macht. Der Service ist 1a, super nett und schnell, immer für einen Witz zu haben und gut drauf. Das macht das ganze „Erlebnis“ noch besser :) Besser geht’s nicht, dickes Lob.

Wir waren zum Essen ohne Übernachtung , aber es war immer ein Genuss hier zu Speisen. Auch die Kinder waren von dem Essen begeistert. Der Service ist auch positiv zu erwähnen. Alles in allem ein super Lokal das wir jederzeit weiter empfehlen können. Einfach nur TOP

Das Personal wor von Anfang bis zur Abreise freundlich höflich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war zwar klein aber super schön eingerichtet. Das Restaurant war klasse, war in verschiedenen Räumlichkeiten aufgeteilt, was ich als sehr angenehm empfunden habe. Das Essen einfach klasse gut und preiswert. Wir kommen wieder.
