HIRSCH Café-Restaurant-Bar in Zingst

Alles begann schon mit dem unfreundlichen Service... Als Alleinreisende werde ich oftmals "übersehen" und mir werden Gruppen oder Paare, die viel später als ich ankamen - bevorzugt. So auch HIER: Doch es kommt noch schlimmer: als ich endlich die Karte bekam und am Nebentisch entdeckte, wie klein das Stück Kuchen für 5.50 € ist, wählte ich stattdessen eine heiße Waffel mit Puderzucker und 1 Pott Milchkaffee. Als ich diese Waffel - so groß wie ein Smartphone (!) - längsquer durchgeschnitten und 1 Hälfte davon aufgerichtet, bestäubt mit einem Hauch Puderzucker schließlich erhielt und DAFÜR 6,50 € bezahlen sollte, war ich einfach nur fassungslos. NIE - nie wieder zu diesen Halsabschneidern und ihren Wucherpreisen - unverschämt! CM

Ich hätte mir vorher die Bewertungen durchlesen sollen, dann wären wir hier wohl nicht eingekehrt. Teure Preise sind wir ja hier an der Küste gewohnt, aber was wir hier erlebt haben setzt dem Fass die Krone auf. In der Karte werden Kuchen zu echt saftigen Preisen angeboten UND EIN KAFFEEDEAL. In der Zeit von 14-17 Uhr erhält man eine Kaffespezialität zu seinem Kuchen.(Steht in der Karte) Ich habe extra gefragt ob für die Kinder auch ein Kakao geht. Am Ende eine Rechnung über 37€ für 3 Apfelstrudel und Getränke weil dieser kein Kuchen ist!? Kein Hinweis, keine Kulanz, EINE FRECHHEIT. Ich kann nur empfehlen eines der netten umliegenden Restaurants zu nutzen und dieses zu meiden. Das kann den Urlaub nur versüßen.

We wanted to have our last meal before departure in the Hirsch restaurant on Sunday lunchtime. I should have gotten a fish sandwich instead! As soon as we ordered, we immediately noticed the unmotivated waiter. Drinks came quickly but my son's Fanta was warm, ice cubes were only added when asked. The food also came surprisingly quickly, I was immediately skeptical. The burger meat was definitely ready-made meat, the fries were nothing special. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit here. Combined with the unmotivated service, the whole thing simply didn't result in a good restaurant experience. No recommendation from us. It's good that there are places nearby where you get a warm welcome and a reasonable price/performance ratio.

Diverse Male haben wir in diesem Lokal Getränke zu uns genommen. Ich habe ein gutes Gespür für engagierte und motivierte Servicekräfte. Bis auf einer Ausnahme, Fehlanzeige ! Scheinbar gilt hier als oberste Primisse, hoffentlich bald Feierabend. Gemäß diesem Motto wird abends entsprechend früh abgeräumt, welches als vorhandener Gast unheimlich gemütlich rüber kommt.

We were there yesterday and I ordered a salad with sea bream fillet. The salad was more of a side salad and the sea bream fillet was about 120g. Tasted good but more of a starter than a main course for 24 euros. How you can save on lettuce leaves is a mystery to me. My girlfriend had the salad with chicken. Tastes good but far too little salad. We won't be coming back

Location great, reception very friendly. Food not really good and extremely overpriced. When it comes to the salmon punch, it is not obvious that it is smoked salmon. The homemade spritzers are good.

The service seems very arrogant, which unfortunately cannot be ironed out by the friendly service. The food looked good, but was lukewarm and the gnocchi were like tennis balls, in my opinion the food is not freshly prepared. Positive - you were given a blanket upon request. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the waiter hardly spoke any German and therefore placing the order was bumpy. I had a chicken burger that actually deserved "0" stars (dry, hardly any sauce and overall run-of-the-mill... because of lettuce leaves). €19.50 for that is a disgrace. My husband had a chicken bowl and was very satisfied, hence the 3 stars.

Was ist denn im Restaurant "Hirsch" passiert? Wir waren seit Jahren dort Gäste, sonst immer voll, jetzt kaum besetzt. Und das Essen und die Bedienung , naja! Ein Beispiel:selbstgemachte Bratkartoffeln, Haha . Was uns noch aufgefallen ist , das der nette motivierte Mitarbeiter , wohl dort nicht mehr arbeitet. Das wäre sehr schade ☹️

Went there twice to enjoy a cocktail. Delicious... However, we wanted a second round the second time. However, this was not possible because we were ignored. And that even though the waiter knew that we wanted to order something else. After he came we paid. And moved on. That's not a problem in Zingst.

I recently visited the Restaurant Hirsch in Zingst and was thrilled. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was excellent, I was particularly impressed by the regional cuisine. The ingredients were fresh and the taste of the dishes was excellent. I would like to give special praise to the waitress who served us. She was extremely friendly, attentive and made our evening very pleasant with her charming service. It's rare to find such warm and professional service - a big thank you for that! I can fully recommend Restaurant Hirsch and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The food was great again. I found it to be cheap for the quality, quantity and taste. The service was great, her manner made us feel really comfortable. A water bowl was brought for our dogs, even though there were two in the entrance area. Very fond of animals.

Slow, inattentive service, you have to ask multiple times, things are forgotten. The cake was more of a thawed cake, with chocolate sauce on top, which wasn't even ordered, and in my opinion doesn't go well with fruit cake. The atmosphere is nice. I wouldn't go there again though.

The restaurant seems appealing at first impression, but unfortunately the food is very disappointing. The fish tasted like old oil and the drinks were a bad joke. Both Cola and Sprite only tasted like syrup and there was no carbon dioxide. At such prices it's simply a disgrace. It was also very annoying that the staff was constantly wandering around the table waiting for you to finally order. Understand that you want something to do when there are still a lot of tables available, but that's probably the wrong way. It creates pressure and doesn't allow for a relaxed restaurant experience. So it's better at any fast food joint.

We can't confirm the many negative opinions, perhaps the staff will change in the evening, but we received excellent service at lunch and the food was great!

Great location, especially at sunset. Friendly service. Cocktails delicious, cakes and coffee delicious. Dishes are attractively prepared. Given the high prices, I would have liked a fairer portion of cake.

Very nice team, very good food. The team seemed to be under a bit of stress. We had burgers and fish and all 4 dishes were very tasty. Price example: Darß burger with fries: €19.50. The fish dish cost €29.50. Not a bargain, but the quality is worth it.

Food was OK. The rest left a lot to be desired. The map is quite large and confusing. A separate menu for alcoholic drinks would have shortened the length of browsing. Since we didn't immediately know what we wanted to drink (we have 2 children - they haven't read the menu and chosen in 2 minutes), the waiter disappeared without a word while we were talking to him. There was no eye contact, a kind word or even a smile - neither when ordering nor when paying. I work in a job with people. No matter how bothered I am by my private life or my colleagues or whatever: you go to the customer with a smile and are friendly - otherwise you simply have no business being in service. We had to clear the cards from the table ourselves after ordering. A small ray of hope: the waiter who served the drinks smiled, was friendly and even responded to small jokes. The burgers were good and nicely prepared, but unfortunately the schnitzel looked more like frozen food to me (and tasted accordingly). If you ignore the quality of service from some of the staff, you can have a pleasant evening here.

The deer is no longer on the prowl)-: I haven't seen the celebrity head waiter in question for months. Which we personally find very unfortunate. As a result, this restaurant has completely lost its charisma. We don't come anymore because we're just bored here by unmotivated staff and exorbitant prices.

The waiter's facial expression and understanding of language is not worth a tip. The coffee deal (coffee and apple pie) advertised according to the board caused an arrogant lack of understanding from the waiter, who had already been mentioned in other reviews. No, I didn't mean the piece of cake in a soup bowl full of coffee.

Title: Not recommended I was in the “Hirsch” restaurant and I have to say, it was really disappointing. The fish soup was watery and tasteless, the fish not worth mentioning for 14 euros. The waffle with applesauce and the latte were lukewarm. Overall not recommended – save your money! At least the service was quick, if not particularly friendly.

The coffee was very good. The cake didn't seem particularly fresh. On the other hand, the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream was delicious.

Erst nette Bedienung wurden aber eine Stunde lang vergessen als wir bestellt hatten, bei Nachfrage kam nur eine unfreundliche Antwort, es kam keine Entschuldigung oder sowas

Die Bedienung war sehr schlecht. Wir wurden 2 mal nach trinken und essen gefragt obwohl wir schon längst bestellt haben. Die Bedienung war sichtlich überfordert obwohl nur eine geringe Auslastung vorhanden war und ungeschult zugleich. Als das essen dann endlich ankam war es mehr oder weniger kalt und meiner Meinung nach für 20€ pro Gericht viel zu teuer. Eine Cola ohne Kohlensäure ist für 6€ meiner Meinung nach auch zu viel. Als wir dann mit dem essen fertig waren wurden wir schnell fertig und unfreundlich verabschiedet.

The waiters are quick and don't always speak our language, but with today's personnel problems, you can be lucky if you have someone who wants to work. There are very tasty thirst quenchers, punch with mint and elderberry, for example. We can only recommend it.

Tourist trap! For an incredibly cheap 27 euros you can get a fish platter with a touch of frozen fish. Poorly deboned. In addition, buffed fried potatoes (industrially cut) carefully removed from the bag and honey mustard mush squeezed out of the bottle. Really underground. Children get fart-dry chicken nuggets with a handful of fries. Certainly lovingly thawed. But also cheap: 10.50 euros! Nobody asks you whether it was tasty. The employees seem to know about the quality. Lübzer beer was very tasty. It makes you want more. Better to do it somewhere else. It usually doesn't cost 6 euros there either.

Bekamen ohne Reservierung trotz Hund einen schönen Platz zugewiesen. Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Gerichte kamen sehr schnell und waren geschmacklich und optisch sehr lecker. Der Hamburg wurde stylisch auf "Zeitungspapier" serviert welches während der Mahlzeit aufweichte und sich mit dem Essen vermischte. Das Fischgericht 2024 war geschmacklich wirklich sehr lecker, allerdings hätte es etwas mehr sein dürfen. Weinpreise fanden wir überteuert.

If I could give minus stars it wouldn't be an understatement. We have been going to this beautiful place for many years. But this place with its wannabe waiter, or whatever this guy is. Is an absolute eyesore in the catering industry. And the reviews written here about this cheeky subject are partly understated. Here young girls are lured with his dirty rum. I don't want to think about what happens afterwards on his daily foray. You hardly dare to walk past this restaurant to avoid being rudely and rudely talked to. He doesn't mind if fathers or husbands/boyfriends are with him. I can only confirm his arrogant manner when ordering/checking out. I'll just avoid this place again. Dear managing directors, please think about it.

The Hirsch-Café Restaurant Bar in Zingst is ideal for a short stop. We enjoyed coffee, a waffle and a Zickster storm bag here. You can sit comfortably and be well protected from wind and rain. Highly recommended for a relaxing break!

The boss (or whoever he is) at the entrance and who at the same time apparently only has the "license to cash" can hardly be topped in terms of arrogance and arrogance. He only addresses the guests as “you” and makes suggestive comments. Young women on the street are more important than the guests. Food was ok, but too expensive for the dishes on offer. But the big thing was paying. Card payment was apparently not possible, even though the table next door paid with a card and there was no notice anywhere. Justification in a rude tone: He has to pay fees for this, so he only takes cash. When we insisted, he slammed the reader on the table and started talking to the guests at the other table. Conclusion: Never again!!! It's a shame about the beautiful location, which would be better staffed with another restaurant or boss.

Delicious fish dishes in a relaxed atmosphere - fast service. The tone of the service was a bit too direct in my opinion and therefore took some getting used to.

The food tasted great and ours was plentiful. But it was also a bit more expensive. Unfortunately, the boss or head waiter came across as very arrogant to us. As if he didn't feel like taking the order and he didn't even look at us. When paying I just put the tablet down. There was no invoice. It didn't work, or he didn't feel like it.

For me by far the best restaurant in Zingst. I really enjoy eating here with my family.

Have been there for the second year. Service and food were very good. We were there with two fairly large dogs and we were offered a place without any problems. Everyone was very friendly. We would love to come back!!!!

Own staff are insulted and humiliated in front of the customers...Unfortunately I can't recommend it.. ... The bill is rounded up as a flat rate and drinks for the children's reception are promised and then billed at an overpriced price.

Our first port of call in Zingst, on every holiday :)! We have been regular guests at the Hirsch for many years, the atmosphere is great, especially of course on the sun terrace (which is also very cozy in the evening with heaters). The staff is very friendly and fulfills every wish, no matter how small. The children feel very comfortable, the food is great and the cocktails are delicious. We'll be back, always :)!

We often go here for a drink with friends. The cocktails are always delicious. For us, the Hirsch is the hottest bar in Zingst. I can also recommend the kitchen. In the evenings there are often You Tube parties or live music. Something for every age group.
