A super-beautiful restaurant right on the dike. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! Everything just fits perfectly!

Food: Excellent value for money – but – it arrived on the table after only a short time (?!); Wine: Very good, but not what's on the menu; Service: No question of "Did you enjoy your meal?", just "Ready?"... No "Would you like something else?"...; The table decorations and cushions are put away 45 minutes before closing time... A bit uncomfortable. Still, we'll be back!

We've been here several times for dinner or just a drink, and it's always been great. Friendly service and good value for money. Oh, and you can also reserve a table here, which isn't possible everywhere in Zingst. Simply superb.

I had the vegetarian burger, which was very tasty and a large portion. The side salad was finally something different and also very good. The service was very attentive.

We wanted to relax and unwind with two beers on the terrace (after 9 p.m.) while smoking, and make the waiter's job easier: a serious mistake. This was met with a very arrogant and cheeky reaction from the waiter, who then made us wait forever to pay and—since I had no intention of leaving a tip—took a veeeery long time to pay. Should I say more? A misguided profession. And not a good image for Zingst, its restaurants, or its welcoming culture.

Mustard sauce on a salad should be reconsidered. A regular salad dressing would probably be more appropriate.

We chose "Neptune's Garden" (sea bream fillet on leaf spinach, served with beetroot gnocchi and salad) as our meal. Very tasty, although I felt the salad was a bit lacking. In terms of value for money, it could perhaps have been a bit better overall, or the price could have been lower. Despite the busy schedule, the service was friendly and pleasant. There was a language barrier when ordering drinks, but the drinks arrived shortly after the food was served. We would probably come back here again on our next vacation just because of the delicious food, and also because the outdoor seating is very nice.

The service was very friendly and the food was delicious - the only thing that was a problem was the portion size of the pike-perch fillet. We had to deduct some points for service - unfortunately, only the super friendly lady was able to check out all the tables. We approached two other colleagues, who, due to the language barrier, seemed to have no idea what we wanted. The time between the end of the meal/drinks and paying, about 25 minutes, was simply too long, even with the restaurant being full.

Manuela alone is worth the visit! With incredible heart, passion, and a warm smile, she is the heart of this place. You immediately notice that she puts her heart and soul into it – attentive, warm, and full of positive energy. Thanks to her, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. You immediately feel at home, almost like being with friends. Her commitment and loving manner make every evening special. And then the cocktails! Truly excellently mixed – the finest juices, high-quality spirits, and always perfectly prepared.

A complete rip-off. They advertise a fish platter with three fillets per person. They deliberately deliver two fillets. Complaints abound every day, and the menu remains unchanged. And there's no discount offered as compensation, not even an espresso. Not recommended!

I've been there twice and both times I got something different than what I ordered. The first time I got a salmon bowl instead of a falafel bowl. I thought, "Okay, it can happen, no stress at the start of a vacation." So I went back a week later and ordered coffee, waffles, and drinks for myself, my wife, and my child. The food for mom and dad arrived, but the waffle with applesauce for the child didn't arrive. We asked again... nothing happened. I asked again, and the child got the waffle over 20 minutes later... That just can't be right, especially when it happens repeatedly.

The food was okay. It's mostly convenience food, though. When I asked what the patty of the veggie burger was made of, I was told, "I don't know, it comes in large bags." Anyway... The service was fast but not particularly friendly. The servers didn't respond to requests and then rolled their eyes. The outdoor area is quite nice with loud but good music.

Unfortunately, everything is too expensive, outrageous prices. It was OK three years ago. But €14 more for cocktails, €6 for beer, outrageous.

Unfortunately, we can only agree with the negative reviews. The food was bland and absolutely tasteless. The tagliatelle with chicken and vegetables could have been a frozen ready meal, and Grandma's herring pot tasted like the worst convenience store product. Neither dish was worth the price at all. The espresso was also undrinkable. We can't recommend this restaurant at all.

Beautiful outside, beautiful inside My wife and I came for a drink because we immediately liked the beautiful location. We wanted to eat, but my wife didn't like the smelly, stuffy place or the dirty open kitchen. Then we left and went to another restaurant.

The tables are tightly packed on the terrace, the wait staff doesn't speak German, and requests (really just minor) were ignored. The lemonade consisted of syrup with sparkling water, and the portion (Neptune's Garden) was quite small, so I didn't feel full. In short: NOT recommended!

It was okay. However, we wouldn't eat there again. When we asked how big the fish platter was for one person, we didn't get a clear answer: "I can't tell you the exact amount right now." I don't want to know, but you can probably tell whether the fillets are small or whether you're getting larger portions. The pike-perch could have been seasoned better, and the fried potatoes were very greasy. The homemade lemonades consist of syrup and sparkling water—nothing special. For the price, you can eat much better.

Food was super tasty. 8 of us ate here, including 2 children. Everyone enjoyed it and the portions were sufficient. The staff was also very nice and always ready as soon as something was empty. Definitely recommended!

Not recommended, some of the fries were dark and had been in the deep fryer several times! My wife gave up her fried potato and we had to pay extra for the change! The salad was catastrophic, we won't be coming back!

The restaurant was full. We were happy that we got a place in front of the kitchen. I enjoyed being able to watch the chefs at work for a bit. We liked the food, we had schnitzel and fish fillet. The fish portions could be a bit more generous for the price. We were impressed by the super friendly service.

We don't understand the poor rating of this restaurant, which would actually have stopped us from coming here. We were all the more surprised by the top service and the good food, which can certainly stand up to the restaurant's 4.8 star rating. The service with its relaxed, personal, yet engaging and friendly professional attitude deserves 6 stars.

This is our second time at the “Hirsch” and we were satisfied again: a very personal welcome from the owner, even though we were there in October of last year. Food was brought quickly and tasted great. Even if it looks more like a snack bar from the outside, it is cozy under the large umbrellas, thanks in part to the gas stoves and blankets.

There are schnitzels with asparagus and fried potatoes and then there are schnitzels with fries. However, if you want schnitzel with fried potatoes, you have to pay €2.50 for a change. Now I'm really at a loss for words. I think it is freshly prepared??? Positive, the food tastes good and is freshly prepared.

Our visit started with a joke: "Do you have ice cream?" to which: "Of course." There was only vanilla. 😅 At least he didn’t lie. But everything was delicious and made good coffee. :) So gladly again if you're not looking for ice cream. ^^

Wonderful surprise! From the outside it was more of a snack bar, and the first impression from the inside was more of an everyday burger bar. But right from the start we were “captured” by the cheerful service staff (or boss?). Super friendly, she literally exudes the hostess gene. Competent, flexible and on the ball. She mixed a sugar-free lemonade especially for us, conjured up the last portion of asparagus and simply convinced us with her good advice on choosing a meal. And it was great. We had the best burger in a long time, the first really good asparagus of the season, a perfectly cooked rump steak and simply great fries. Great evening. Thank you very much

As promised, the review! We can only express ourselves positively. The food was delicious and special requests were taken into account. Really nice service, who also chatted with the guests, which is sometimes neglected in Mecklenburg. Delicious cocktails - 20% cheaper during happy hour. We were here before Easter and everything was very relaxed. Of course it can be different in the high season, but who doesn't get a little stressed when they have a lot of work? Keep it up!

1 star is still too many – NEVER AGAIN If you're in the mood for a bit of culinary heartbreak in Zingst, you should definitely go to Restaurant Hirsch with your family. The location is great – right in the center – but unfortunately that’s about it for the highlights. Luckily, you don't have such a bad experience often in your life - but the Restaurant Hirsch in Zingst managed it. Completely overpriced, the food was bland, tasteless and cheaply made, but at the price of an upscale restaurant. Frozen quality at a gourmet price – respect, you have to get that right first. The service was unreasonable: annoyed, inattentive, hardly a smile - and unfortunately hardly any knowledge of German. Orders were taken incorrectly and queries were not understood. Anyone looking for hospitality here is definitely in the wrong place. You always have the feeling that you are not welcome, but rather a nuisance. There is no trace of quality – neither on the plate nor around it. If you want to experience what it's like to be completely ignored while sitting at a sticky table waiting for lukewarm food that looks and tastes like it came out of a microwave in 1998 - this is the place for you. If you've already seen everything in Zingst - try the deer. Afterwards you can really appreciate the rest of the gastronomic offerings. If you're in the mood for some frustration again, you've come to the right place. Anyone who gives this five stars must suffer from a loss of taste. A fish sandwich makes you happier than sitting here and eating. Conclusion: an experience. Unfortunately not a good one.

The only restaurant in Zingst that spontaneously had space for 5 people. However, we only came across the many negative reviews after we reserved the table. We went there anyway with a bit of a bad feeling. All initial fears did not come true. The waitresses were very friendly, the restaurant offers very solid cuisine, and everything went quickly. All in all there was nothing to complain about; we definitely recommend it.

The two of us had dinner today on New Year's Eve with a prior reservation. We were completely satisfied with the atmosphere, the cuisine and the service.

Alles begann schon mit dem unfreundlichen Service... Als Alleinreisende werde ich oftmals "übersehen" und mir werden Gruppen oder Paare, die viel später als ich ankamen - bevorzugt. So auch HIER: Doch es kommt noch schlimmer: als ich endlich die Karte bekam und am Nebentisch entdeckte, wie klein das Stück Kuchen für 5.50 € ist, wählte ich stattdessen eine heiße Waffel mit Puderzucker und 1 Pott Milchkaffee. Als ich diese Waffel - so groß wie ein Smartphone (!) - längsquer durchgeschnitten und 1 Hälfte davon aufgerichtet, bestäubt mit einem Hauch Puderzucker schließlich erhielt und DAFÜR 6,50 € bezahlen sollte, war ich einfach nur fassungslos. NIE - nie wieder zu diesen Halsabschneidern und ihren Wucherpreisen - unverschämt! CM

Ich hätte mir vorher die Bewertungen durchlesen sollen, dann wären wir hier wohl nicht eingekehrt. Teure Preise sind wir ja hier an der Küste gewohnt, aber was wir hier erlebt haben setzt dem Fass die Krone auf. In der Karte werden Kuchen zu echt saftigen Preisen angeboten UND EIN KAFFEEDEAL. In der Zeit von 14-17 Uhr erhält man eine Kaffespezialität zu seinem Kuchen.(Steht in der Karte) Ich habe extra gefragt ob für die Kinder auch ein Kakao geht. Am Ende eine Rechnung über 37€ für 3 Apfelstrudel und Getränke weil dieser kein Kuchen ist!? Kein Hinweis, keine Kulanz, EINE FRECHHEIT. Ich kann nur empfehlen eines der netten umliegenden Restaurants zu nutzen und dieses zu meiden. Das kann den Urlaub nur versüßen.

I'm not interested in Corona at the moment, but what excited me... We were there for happy hour, which for us means 2 drinks for the price of one. When the bill came, we felt ripped off... What we had drunk was excluded from the regulation and the other cocktails were supposedly only €2 cheaper than normal. If so, at least an explanation should be necessary and that beforehand!! The boss's threadbare explanation: The rent would be so high... You can't do that! Conclusion: We won't go there anymore!

We wanted to have our last meal before departure in the Hirsch restaurant on Sunday lunchtime. I should have gotten a fish sandwich instead! As soon as we ordered, we immediately noticed the unmotivated waiter. Drinks came quickly but my son's Fanta was warm, ice cubes were only added when asked. The food also came surprisingly quickly, I was immediately skeptical. The burger meat was definitely ready-made meat, the fries were nothing special. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit here. Combined with the unmotivated service, the whole thing simply didn't result in a good restaurant experience. No recommendation from us. It's good that there are places nearby where you get a warm welcome and a reasonable price/performance ratio.

Diverse Male haben wir in diesem Lokal Getränke zu uns genommen. Ich habe ein gutes Gespür für engagierte und motivierte Servicekräfte. Bis auf einer Ausnahme, Fehlanzeige ! Scheinbar gilt hier als oberste Primisse, hoffentlich bald Feierabend. Gemäß diesem Motto wird abends entsprechend früh abgeräumt, welches als vorhandener Gast unheimlich gemütlich rüber kommt.

We were there yesterday and I ordered a salad with sea bream fillet. The salad was more of a side salad and the sea bream fillet was about 120g. Tasted good but more of a starter than a main course for 24 euros. How you can save on lettuce leaves is a mystery to me. My girlfriend had the salad with chicken. Tastes good but far too little salad. We won't be coming back
