Great fish sandwich, very friendly service and wonderful atmosphere!

We love the fish sandwiches from the fishing boat and have done so for years. Even though the prices have gone up, a fish sandwich is a must on a Baltic Sea vacation because they're simply delicious. Cold and warm smoked salmon and fried fish with remoulade, all delicious in fresh bakery rolls. The service has always been friendly to us, even when it's crowded. And the seating area with sun loungers is inviting. I can't understand the bad reviews.

The fish sandwiches we ordered (2 herring and 2 fried fish) were well made but definitely not a highlight. The fish sandwiches are made with the cheapest pre-baked rolls, and the rest isn't particularly outstanding either. €25 for the four small rolls is quite generous. The herring was €5 and the fried fish was €7.50...well, due to a lack of competition and alternatives...I have to deduct points. Unfortunately.

The sheer number of people at the fish stand speaks volumes, more than any words written here. It's also great that you can sit outside at the adjoining restaurant.

Fish and chips for €7.50 with three pieces of fish is truly outrageous. The young man in the deep fryer is clearly unenthusiastic. It should be called deep-fried potato chips with a bit of fish instead.

Fish and chips are the most expensive on the peninsula, as there was hardly any fish in the small sampler bags. A rip-off.

The fish and chips were very tasty. Delicious sauces. However, they weren't exactly cheap. It could be better...

Sorry, but that was awful. The bread rolls were soft and inedible, and the fishcake wasn't tasty either. The staff couldn't do math, so we had to argue for 10 minutes about the change. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.

Fried squid rings (6 pieces) for €7. Fried shrimp (6 pieces) for €9, all fried in old oil. Annoying service. It gets worse every year; today was the last time we were there!

Actually, we never rate anything that badly. We have been going to Zingst for over 10 years and a fish sandwich at the harbor is a must. But now the prices are just outrageous. Service is just unfriendly. For a salmon roll 7€ for a bag of fish & chips 7.50€ where there are 2 pieces of fish in it and the rest consists of potato wedges, just cheeky.

Due to management, service cannot be assessed comprehensively, but makes a good impression!

We were recently at the fishing boat and enjoyed very good fish sandwiches and other fish specialties. As well Had dinner one evening in the adjacent restaurant, unfortunately forgot to make a reservation even during the week, but still managed to get a seat at the regulars' table. Absolutely thrilled. Friendly staff, very good food and immaculate rooms. You could even dry your hands with freshly washed towels before and after in “little man” and “woman”. All around everything was really great. We will be here again on our next visit to Zingst. Greetings from Bavaria

We had the fish and chips bag for €7.50. Was a total ripoff. 2 pieces of fish per bag otherwise fries. No recommendation. The service wasn't friendly either.

Was ist denn hier passiert ? Wir waren viele Jahre Stammgäste. Heute sind wir wieder dort gewesen. Eine sehr unfreundliche Dame hat uns bedient. Und ganz ehrlich, für ein Räucherlachs Brötchen 7,00 Euro?? Viel viel zu teuer, für ein Brötchen, welches noch dazu nicht mehr frisch gewesen ist, gefühlt schon älter 😞. Sehr Schade, wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen, da gibt es durchaus bessere Alternativen in Zingst.

Wir haben hier gegenüber dem Fischkutter Softeis am Abend bei ruhiger Livemusik durch einen Straßenmusiker genossen und es war sehr lecker. Zudem kann das Softeis mit vielseitigen Toppings (Streusel, Krokant, Lakritz,...) versehen werden. Sehr lecker.

Sehr lecker und sehr zu empfehlen. Ein Matjes Brötchen richtig frisch und nicht in Rote Beete eingelegt richtig frische Farbe

Leckere Fischbrötchen in guter Lage.

Immer wieder einen Ausflug für uns wert. Lecker Fisch am Hafen essen. Es gibt genügend Sitzplätze für den to Go Verkauf. Nicht nur Flaschen, sondern auch Fassbier Verkauf, lecker. Oft voll, wir hatten aber Glück und waren zeitnah dran. Mitarbeiter arbeiten zügig

Wir waren heute, so wie jedes Jahr, am FutterKutter Fish&Chips und Fischbrötchen essen. Positiv überrascht waren wir weil es zum ersten Mal echt leer war. Kennen wir so gar nicht 😁. Aber die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter hat stark nachgelassen. Sollte das Normalität werden bringe wir unser Geld lieber in andere Geschäfte.

Das Bier ist gut, leider im Plastikbecher. Die frittierten Speisen sind nichts besonderes, in unserem Falle Calamares und Fish&Chips. Pluspunkt für die Location.

Leider ziemliche (teure) Massenabfertigung: 2-3 Backfischteilchen und ein paar Pommes für 5€…

2 Sterne für die Fritten, lecker, der Backfisch war total dunkel (vermutlich mehrfach fritiert), dröge und mehr Panade als Fisch, nicht zu empfehlen

Einfach gut und man ist ja nicht auf der Flucht . . . ist eben frisch gemacht!

Die besten Fischbrötchen UND Pommes XXL in Zingst! :-) Mit einer schöner Aussicht ... Schnelle Bedienung. Preise sind vollkommen in Ordnung.

Super schöne Lage mit wundervollem Ausblick. Ein Fischbrötchen muss auf jeden fall sein wenn man hier ist. Dazu noch der typisch nordische Umgang auf dem Kutter.

Malerische lage, einfache Kost, aber schmackhaft. Unsere Fish and Chips waren total ok, der service ist anscheinend "typisch Nordisch".

Matjes-Fischbrötchen in Ordnung. Verkäufer hart an der Grenze und mächtig schlecht drauf. Hat auch nix mit nordisch trocken oder kühl zu tun, bin selbst Mecklenburger. Freundlichkeit gehört zum Job einfach dazu - basta!

Das Backfischbrötchen war äußerst lecker, das Fischangebot ist ausreichend und vielfältig. Der Service gewohnt nordisch freundlich. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert 👍.

Matjesbrötchen sollte man woanders essen.

Ich hatte auch zu viel Brötchen um zu wenig Makrele. Aber lecker waren die drei Bissen Fisch schon.

Hat uns jetzt nicht unbedingt vom Hocker gehaun! Gibt auf jeden Fall bessere Adressen für Fischbrötchen und Co in Zingst!

Der kleine Hafen von Zingst ist allein schon sehenswert. Der Kutter ist ein Ort in diesem Hafen an dem wir schlecht vorbeikommen. Hier gibt es super Fischbrötchen und auch Backfisch. Die normalen Fischgerichte sind keine besonders hochklassigen Gerichte sondern gute Hausmannskost zum gutem Preis. Die Angestellten sind trotz der ewigen Vollheit am Kutter immer freundlich und arbeiten gut organisiert. Für uns ist der Kutter - unser Lieblingsrestaurant in Zingst.
