Hospitality is very important in the Hintersteiner Stube. From the service to the ambience, everything is very harmonious. If you like regional food, this is the right place for you. The food tastes very good and the chef's visit to the table was our highlight. We felt very comfortable as guests. Children and animals are also welcome there.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with friendly service and excellent food

Using modern communication via email and WApp and without any problems, we were able to reserve a table for Saturday despite well-deserved rest days on Thursday and Friday. On the birthday there were also personal congratulations from the house. The menu was extensive and regional, an additional menu was brought to the table on a chalk board. A small candle on the birthday child's plate! It was tasty and the portion size was just right, I couldn't have fit more. Thank you to the friendly team, from the kitchen to the counter to the boss!!! Next time in Hindelang...we'll be back! Greetings from Berlin

The rooms and 1700 are well attended, there is no more space on the terrace. But with today's 'Sun Terror' it was just right for me to take a place in the dining room. Food was - always - tasty and plentiful. You'll be happy to come back here.

We arrived quite late after a bike ride, but still got the food and drinks we wanted. The ambience with the setting sun and the mountains completed the delicious meal. We can recommend the location with a clear conscience.

Stopped here by chance the day before yesterday after a hike - the sausage salad was a dream. Now for dinner here today: All dishes were very (!) delicious (wild garlic cream soup, fried chicken with potato salad, pork loin steak with baked potato, affrogato and Styrian greeting); the service very attentive and charming; a great, local atmosphere - and last but not least, a good price-performance ratio. In summary: We have reserved again for the day after tomorrow, despite a longer journey!

Ideal place to stop if you are traveling by bike. The food was really very tasty. The service was very friendly and accommodating. After a small mishap happened with our order, we received a scoop of ice cream with cream on the house as a small compensation.

Cozy guest room, terrace with beautiful mountain views. We've been here twice so far. Sympathetic, friendly service even when it's busy. Of course it takes longer if the guest room and terrace are fully occupied. Nevertheless, the service is very friendly. The menu is manageable, but there are daily specials. The dishes are attractively prepared, made from high-quality ingredients and taste very good. The homemade desserts and cakes are also very tasty. We can only recommend this restaurant and would be happy to come back.

We were here twice during our holiday in Hinterstein - very friendly service, delicious food, both "familiar" delicacies such as Geschnetzeltes, Cordon Bleu as well as culinary delicacies such as Krautkrapfen or the Lady-Weizen, with blackcurrant juice. And you definitely shouldn't miss the apple strudel with vanilla sauce! You can sit outside with a blanket and enjoy the view of the mountains. We would love to come back here on our next vacation 🙂

We got a table at short notice. The service is super attentive, present and polite. The food was delivered super quickly after ordering. The taste was very good. Price-performance ratio fits!

Unfortunately disappointing We came to the restaurant with great anticipation (when reviewing) and were unfortunately disappointed. Unfortunately, the dishes were all relatively or completely tasteless and not prepared as one would expect in such a restaurant. We ate cabbage donuts and goat cheese gratin, and panna cotta with raspberry jam as dessert. The food would correspond to a 1-star rating: - Salad dressing like water - Fried potatoes (which is the main side dish) without much flavor - A slightly firmer vanilla pudding sold as “Panna Cotta” However, there were some plus points, hence 2 stars overall: - Attentive service - Relatively large selection of vegetarian dishes (note: everything with gluten) and fair prices - Nice atmosphere in an old farmhouse Overall, unfortunately still disappointing

Auf meiner Rennradtour habe ich hier Pause gemacht. Das Wetter war schon herbstlich, mit den Decken konnte man aber noch gut raus sitzen. Schöner Blick auf die Berge. Der Service war besonders aufmerksam und freundlich. Der Germknödel und Kaffee waren sehr lecker. Preis Leistung sehr gut. Gerne wieder.

da wir nicht Reserviert haben bekamen wir nur was für den Durst , somit konnten wir das Essen nicht bewerten .....

Super, sehr lecker! Ich liebe die Bratkartoffeln und das König Ludwig dunkel!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und der Allgäuer Wurstsalat mit Bergkäse und Bratkartoffeln war hervorragend. Bei unserer nächsten Bergtour in Hinterstein kommen wir ganz sicher wieder vorbei.

Super freundlich, die Torten einfach spitze....

Wir haben spontan einen Tisch reserviert. Wir hatten Glück, da das Lokal nicht allzu groß innen ist und es aufgrund von Regen nicht möglich war draußen zu sitzen. Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich und urig eingerichtet. Der Service war sehr nett und auch unser Sohn wurde freundlich begrüßt und angesprochen. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde höflich und schnell eingegangen. Das Essen war gut bürgerlich und wirklich lecker. Preis-Leistung sind definitiv in Ordnung und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ein "Geheimtipp"! Gute Speisekarte, inklusive Tagesgerichten. Bier vom Fass (aus Sonthofen, bestes Bier in OA). Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Essen war hervorragend, Preis angemessen. Bratkartoffeln sind spitze! Mein Tipp zum kleinen Nachtisch ist der "Steirer Gruß". Lecker! Leider hatten wir nicht reserviert und könnten daher nicht draußen sitzen, aber die 36 Grad waren drinnen nicht allzu schlimm.

Perfekte Location zur Einkehr vor oder nach einer Wanderung oder Fahrradtour. Immer leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Essen, freundlicher Service und super Ambiente. Uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen. TOP!

Man fühlt sich wie " in Familie " . Die Weiberwirtschaft ist nicht nur "EINEN" Besuch wert. Das Essen war lecker, das Drumherum gemütlich und ansprechend. Für uns, nach ein paar Tagen Urlaub in der Region das erste Wohlfühlhighlight. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Hintersteiner Stuben mit ihren Mädels nur weiterempfehlen. Schöne Gaststube zum Sitzen, wir haben hervorragend gegessen, bei fairer Preis-Leistung, großzügigen Portionen und aufmerksamem Service. Die Qualität der Speisen war beachtlich und nichts kam aus der Tüte (gute vegetarische Auswahl), ein Highlight waren die Krautkrapfen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Einfach super Restaurant. Am ersten Tag der Reise hier gewesen und ungeplant nochmal am letzten weil es so lecker war. Einfach eine Empfehlung wenn man mal in der Ecke ist. Super süßer Laden mit vielen Fenstern und doch angenehmes Ambiente mit schönem Licht und großen Tischen für große Gruppen. Karte klein aber fein dafür Gastfreundschaft riesig.
