Very stylish, especially at sunset on the terrace! A perfect evening! The fillet steak was as it should be, steakhouse fries like crossers (my opinion)..Wine list very good, you will definitely find something suitable! Service very accommodating! It's definitely worth the money!

The Zwölfhundred NN restaurant in Oberjoch describes itself as the highest steak restaurant in Germany. We enjoyed the “Savoir Vivre” dinner, where you can feast to your heart’s content for €79 per person. The dishes were all freshly prepared and tasted excellent. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the loving preparation. One point of criticism would be that the topic of steak, which should be the focus of a steak restaurant, was, in our opinion, a little neglected. In addition, individual orders were mixed up or forgotten, but this was quickly and confidently remedied by the friendly and professional team. As travel agents, we would also have liked to take a look at one of the available chalets. However, the young man at reception informed us that this would not be possible at the time of our visit. Despite the small weaknesses, we can recommend a visit to Twelve Hundred NN. The combination of excellent food, good wines and outstanding views makes this restaurant a special experience!

We had octopus to share with some sides. The food was ok but very oily everything. Can one imagine that the fries were the least oily? :○ Great service and scenary but the food needs some adjustments

We visited the "Zwölfhundred NN" restaurant on an "all-you-can-eat deluxe" day, which costs €79 per person. Given the price, we had high expectations of the service. The food itself was excellent with a rating of 9/10 and the ambience was very inviting. Unfortunately, our experience was severely affected by the service, especially by the waiter Florian K.. The long wait, often up to 20 minutes, for the next course and an obvious favoritism towards other guests who liked his jokes made for a disappointing experience. This type of service is absolutely unacceptable for a premium offering. It is very frustrating that a restaurant with otherwise excellent food and ambience shows such deficiencies in customer service. Management should definitely address these service issues. I only give it 2 stars and unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant unless the service is improved.

Service and ambience were very good, I had the vegetarian gnocchi, with pumpkin and mushrooms. I ordered the dish without mushrooms and paid €24 for 8 gnocchi with a few pumpkin balls (cheapest vegetables). I just think it's way too expensive, the price is totally exorbitant. There's also nothing special in terms of taste that could possibly justify the price.

As guests of the Alpin Lodges, we visited this steakhouse twice. I don't really tend to write reviews (in fact, this is the first restaurant review of my life), as even a good restaurant can have a bad day. However, I am very surprised and disappointed at the quality of this “steak” (!) restaurant. The atmosphere and staff are great, everything is very relaxed and pleasant. The fact that several dishes from the already very sparse menu are not available on two days in the high season is a bit strange, but certainly understandable in the sense of fresh products. Unfortunately, it is worth mentioning that the self-proclaimed focus of the higher-priced restaurant (steaks/meat) is such inedible quality. On the first visit the meat was borderline mediocre, but hey, second chance! The second time, however... I have no idea what kind of grill or stove is used here, but I have never seen such a pathetic piece of beef fillet in my career as a guest - a lonely piece of carbon on a large plate, the outside has a consistency and Taste of hard coal, a fibrous something inside, for just under €45. The “dry-aged cutlet” from the region was at best a match for the canteen dish at Thyssen-Krupp from last week; I was able to eat half of it. Luckily we were already quite full from the very good shrimp (a highlight on both days), so we certainly didn't leave hungry. To be fair, I also have to admit that my son still choked down the fillet and we decided against a replacement (immediately offered by the staff) because we didn't want to cause any more unrest. The fact that a family member gave everything backwards at night is just a small point on the side. To be fair, you have to give a lot of praise to the staff at the table, they gave everything and didn't charge for the failed fillet - but to be honest, I would have preferred a decent quality one. Unfortunately, the actual core competence (steak) was not present, at least during our visits - there was more of a charcoal burner and not a cook at work. Sorry for the bad review, maybe there's still room for improvement next year. Update 2/24: After the owners took note of the review and responded adequately, I increased the overall rating to 4 stars - everyone can have a bad day, that shouldn't be reflected in a bad individual rating in the long run. I hope for improvement on the next visit.

We had dinner here during our stay in the Alpine Chalets and unfortunately we weren't very impressed. While my friend's steak was impeccable, the same couldn't be said for my fish. Rather lazy. Some of the side dishes and vegetables were also undercooked and tasted average at best, which simply doesn't fit with the prices. The ambience and very good service take the whole thing out a little.

A very nice, cutely decorated restaurant with very tasty food. Beautifully prepared and also very tasty! I can really recommend it!

Our evening at 1200 NN was sensational! Warm welcome at reception. Drinks recommendations from the sommelier were always appropriate and perfect. The food was full-bodied and perfectly balanced. The service was always attentive, but never intrusive. We will be back definitely.

Super leckere Steaks, dazu ein passender Wein. Ein Abendessen war in unserem Arrangement dabei, ansonsten kostet es schon ein bisschen was. Der Besuch hat sich gelohnt, war für uns schon das zweite Mal 🤩

War mit meiner Frau heute zum Hochzeitstag im 1200 beim Essen. Die Begrüßung warm und herzlich! Der Küchenchef ein Perfekter Gastgeber war immer bei den Gästen sehr Kompetent freundlich und Zuvorkommend. Hatten die Wahl unser All you can eat selbst zusammen zu stellen haben uns aber zur unseren vollen Zufriedenheit vom Küchenchef überraschen lassen.Sie Gänge die er uns zusammen Gestellt hatte war ein Gedicht alles auf den Punkt gewürzt, gegart und perfekt angerichtet von Ihm uns seinem Küchenteam. Auch der Kellner sehr höflich Zuvorkommend und immer ein späßchen auf den Lippen man fühlte sich einfach sehr wohl. Man merkte das ganze Team liebt Ihren Job und auch die Qualität der Zutaten frisch regional und Saisonal. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen gelungenen Abend. Sehr schönes Restaurant mit super nettem Service! Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend und der Aperitif sehr lecker! Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Ort! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Restaurant hat uns leider nicht vollends überzeugt. Die Spargelsuppe war ok, aber viel zu dickflüssig, eher wie ein Brei statt wie eine Suppe. Fisch und Beilagen waren sehr lecker, da war alles perfekt. Das Filet war aber leider eher trocken. Positiv hervorzuheben ist das Chimichurri sowie das Grillgemüse. Beides sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war auch etwas überfordert, so wurde etwa vergessen ein Löffel zur Suppe zu reichen, und uns wurde keinerlei Wein angeboten, hätten wir nicht selbst nachgefragt. Die Wartezeiten sind zudem eher am oberen Ende, genau wie die Preise.

Ein bleibender Eindruck hinterlässt in einem Restaurant nicht nur das Essen, sondern ganz weit vorne der Service. Und hier hat das 1200 NN mit einem jungen Herrn namens Edris großes Glück. Perfekter Service, Aufmerksamkeit um das Wohl des Gastes. Habe ich in dieser Form schon lange nicht mehr erleben dürfen. Küche auch ganz großes Kino. Gerne im Sommer wieder.

Wer ein richtig gutes Steak mit leckeren Beilagen möchte, ist hier richtig. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und die Kellner waren super freundlich und auf zack.

Schöner Abend mit Höhen und Tiefen... Tolles Ambiente, sehr freundliches Personal. Leider bei der Weinberatung etwas "drüber", bei den offenen Weinen wird von Schätzchen oder Raritäten gesprochen (das waren sie sicher nicht!), Preise werden gar nicht genannt. Die Küche ist insgesamt gut. Die aufgerufenen Preise sind, besonders bei Vor- und Nachspeisen, für das Gebotene zu hoch. Wir hatten ein Lammkarree, das war spitze. Das Entrecote war mäßig... leider gar nicht aromatisiert oder gewürzt und trocken (das kann mann auch nicht zart und saftig hinbekommen, wenn der Cut so dünn ist). Für ein Steakhouse (und das ist es) würde ich den Fokus eher auf das Fleisch legen, hier gerne ein paar Euro mehr und bessere Qualität.

Location ist schön gemacht. Personal war sehr freundlich. Leider haben wir eine Stunde auf das Essen warten müssen. Das Essen wurde dann leider auch nicht den Erwartungen gerecht. Das Steak war gut gebraten, allerdings geschmacklich fad. Die extra bestelle Kräuterbutter hat hier leider nicht geholfen da diese auch nicht wirklich einen Eigengeschmack hatte. Die Pommes waren zu trocken und leider versalzen. Der Wolfsbarsch hatte leider auch keinen wirklichen Eigengeschmack. Man konnte zwar selber mit selbst-gemachten groben Salz nachwürzen. Jedoch passiert es dann schnell das man selbst zu viel davon nimmt und das ganze Essen nicht mehr schmeckt. Alles in allem haben wir bei dem preislichen Niveau eine bessere Küchenperformance erwartet.

Einfach spitze! Tolles Restaurant, die Geschmack von Erwachsenen und Kinder erfüllt. Nettes Personal auch. Schönes Weihnachtserlebnis.

Leider bin ich verwundert über den Michelin Stern... Das Essen konnte uns nicht überzeugen.

Wir waren schon seht oft gut essen und dieses Restaurant gehört zu den besten. Super Service nett freundlich und absolut kompetent das Essen ist phenomenal wir hatten all you can eat. TOP. Alles was man von der Karte gewählt hat wurde frisch zubereitet und das so oft man wollte was man. Absolut empfehlenswert....

Wir waren zum All-You-Can-Eat-Angebot, bei dem es kein Buffet gibt, man aber jegliches angebotene Gericht der Menüfolge so oft bestellen kann, wie man will. Das ist ein super Konzept, weil man im Gegensatz zum Buffett eine tolle Beratung erhält und punktgenau hergerichtet wird. Sowohl die Wein- als auch Speisenberatung war klasse. Die Kellnernden waren wunderbar und das Essen ein Traum. Solange das aktuelle Menü besteht, sollte man den Nachtisch mit Birnensorbet mit Kokosschaum probieren - eine Eigenkreation des Kochs und ein Gedicht.

Everything was just perfect: service, ambience, quality and quantity of dishes. Allergic persons friendly, we were served with gluten-free bread with olive oil as an alternative to normal bread and butter before main dish arrived. I with pleasure return to this place to taste different dishes from the upper floor restaurant.

12/10!!! We had dinner here 2 times and the food is extraordinary! We had the beef fillet and the truffle risotto and we certainly recommend both of them! As a side for the beef, cafe de Paris and the truffle mashed potatoes are to die for!!! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is cozy and welcoming! Make sure you go by the reception and book a table before evening to be sure you catch a spot. The restaurant si not very big which can only add to its charm and coziness. And you must absolutely try the creme brûlée!!! ❤️
