The food and service were OK. It was a nice place. However, we found it annoying that you can only pay in cash.

I actually like Hiami... but over time, the cleanliness has deteriorated. The tables and everything else are dirty, I call it lint. The menus definitely need to be replaced; you hardly dare touch them. I don't know if all this is affecting my taste buds, but the sushi doesn't taste the same as it used to. I hope things improve, because it was the only sushi place for miles around that I looked forward to.

However, you'll need to be patient with the service. The Food: A Culinary Highlight Let's start with the most important thing: the food. The quality of the sushi was simply outstanding. Every single bite was a true taste experience, the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. I was particularly impressed by the artistic presentation of the dishes. Every roll, every nigiri was not only perfectly prepared, but also lovingly and aesthetically arranged. You immediately noticed that great attention to detail and craftsmanship go into the work here. A true treat for the eyes and palate! Location: Perfectly Accessible The restaurant also scores points for its very central location. It's easy to reach and ideal for a spontaneous lunch or dinner after a stroll through the city. The easy accessibility is definitely a plus and makes the visit even more enjoyable. Service and Speed: There's Room for Improvement The only downside was, unfortunately, the service. It started with the fact that we had to wait quite a long time for our order to be taken, and the wait times between courses were also a bit longer than expected. The speed of service left a lot to be desired, which would certainly be even more noticeable with a full house. The attentiveness of the staff could also be improved; we felt like we had to make ourselves known several times to order more drinks or the bill. I definitely see potential for improvement here to round out the overall experience. Conclusion: A Recommendation for Sushi Lovers Despite the minor weaknesses in the service, I can highly recommend HIAMI to any sushi lover. The exceptional quality and presentation of the food, as well as the central location, far outweigh any shortcomings in the service. With a little more attentiveness and efficiency in service, this restaurant could easily achieve full marks. We were disappointed with the food, even with what the menu promised. It wasn't an exclusive selection. In general, the selection of sushi options wasn't extensive. The restaurant is overstretched with outdoor seating, and one restroom for all guests isn't possible.

The chef's recommendation wasn't as tasty as I'd hoped. For €38, I expected more. The kitchen and restrooms were too small for the number of seats, both inside and outside.

We don't understand all the good reviews. There is much better sushi in the Stuttgart area, but it's definitely not worth driving here. Instead of Coke Zero, Coke was brought twice. Soft drinks are bottled so that they are no longer carbonated. The thing that greatly influenced our negative rating is the bad sushi rice. It's absolutely tasteless. The sauces used to top the rolls don't taste good. In addition, the cheapest soy sauce is served, which doesn't taste good either. It's a shame, we trusted the good reviews and were unfortunately extremely disappointed.

The store is the definition of small but nice. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but what is served here is really in a class of its own. The service is very nice and helpful. The price is absolutely justified given this quality.

El personal era muy amable y agradable, el ambiente parecía agradable. Sin embargo, en ninguna parte de su sitio web o puerta principal dice “solo efectivo”. Pedí un artículo y estaba listo para pagar con mi tarjeta y dijeron “solo efectivo”. Solo tenía mi toque - para - pagar en mi teléfono y les dije eso, pero querían que todavía fuera a un cajero automático cercano a pesar de que les dije que no tenía una tarjeta física en mí. Después de un tiempo de ir y venir les dije que estaba bien y que me iría. Trataron de obligarme a pagar con PayPal o de alguna otra manera, aunque les dije que ya no iba a tomar la comida.

We have been customers since day 1 and have never regretted a visit to Hiami. Next to the sushi at Böhm, this is our second favorite sushi restaurant. The sushi rice is very well prepared, delicately seasoned and the fish is of very good quality. The ambience inside is also very good. There is still room for improvement when it comes to wine selection. One of our favorite restaurants in Vaihingen - thanks to the whole team

Tiny Bento box sized sushi bar. The food is excellent. The service is wonderful, and the vibe is really authentic. I want to have takeout from there every week! Sit down was really lovely. Everything was very fresh and beautifully prepared. Hidden treasure.

Small but fine sushi shop. Starters: miso soup and white royal carpaccio. Also available are omakase for two and sashimi moriawase. The aburi moriawase is also highly recommended. Everything is fresh and delicious. Good service. It's best to make a reservation in advance. Currently, no card payments!

Este lugar era mediocre en el mejor de los casos. Solo nosotros (2) en el restaurante. El tipo que trabaja tardó una eternidad en venir a nuestra mesa o decir algo. La comida era básica, nada diferente del sushi de la tienda de comestibles. No volveremos solo por la comida y el servicio. La guinda del pastel fue cuando el tipo dijo que solo acepta euros, a pesar de que en la lista del sitio aceptan tarjetas.

I really enjoyed the sushi at the Hiami Sushi Bar in Stuttgart Vaihingen. I particularly thought the varieties with snow crab were excellent. However, the restaurant itself is quite small and not very inviting to eat there. It would be more pleasant in the summer when you can sit outside or for a home pickup. There is only the option to pay in cash, which is a bit inconvenient. Overall, a clear recommendation for the sushi.

Very nice sushi, especially the vegan options. Staff is very friendly. Even the cat that greets you at the entrance. Dogs are also welcome, however, it's a tiny space, so big dogs would probably not fit. Only cash, no cards accepted.

We picked up our sushi ourselves. When I placed the order, it said that we could pick up the order after just 15 minutes, wow! That's what I call quick. When I arrived on site, I came across a tiny shop, super cute and comfortably furnished. The courteous service staff came straight to me and handed me my order :) The store was already busy, but everything still went smoothly. We were able to bring our own soy sauce and chopsticks. There is less seating inside, but when the weather is good you can also sit outside. The sushi was super tasty and freshly prepared! I've been to tons of restaurants and this is definitely one of my favorites ;) We had nothing to complain about!!! Gladly again.

I've been to the HIAMI Sushi Bar several times and am thrilled every time. The sushi is fresh and delicious and the selection is large. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend visiting Hiami.

My wife and I have been eating and ordering here regularly for several years and have never been disappointed. We compared other sushi restaurants in the area, but no one can compete in terms of taste. The fact that you can't pay with a card is a bit annoying, but we're happy to accept it for what you get here: namely, super tasty sushi in a very short time at a reasonable price!

Very tasty sushi and in my opinion the prices are completely reasonable for sushi and the number of rolls you get. So the price/performance ratio is totally right here. However, there is a star deduction because card payments are not accepted. I think something like that is simply no longer appropriate these days.

Perhaps the best sushi I have ever eaten in Germany. The only small detraction from the ambience is that the restaurant is very small and it can quickly become loud and cramped. However, it doesn't detract from the great experience. We'd be happy to come back any time we're nearby.

By far the coziest and highest quality sushi restaurant Stuttgart has to offer! If you love sushi you can't avoid Hiami. A small, cozy restaurant. From the right place you can even observe how perfectly the sushi masters have mastered their craft. The fish and the other ingredients used to prepare the sushi are of the highest quality. The sushi creations are diverse and leave nothing to be desired. My absolute favorite is the Hotate Unagi Roll. The same applies to the other dishes, desserts and drinks.

Wir waren enttäuscht von der Qualität des Sushis. Maximal durchschnittlich. Der Service war wenig aufmerksam. Zwei der drei Kellner haben ständig miteinander diskutiert und gestritten. Die Schale mit dem schmutzigen Wasser um die Tische abzuwischen wurde benutzt und dann auf dem nächsten Tisch abgestellt.

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews regarding the food. I find the sushi mediocre, nothing I would have to eat again. The worst thing, however, was the mochi with red bean filling. The consistency was so horrible that it doesn't have anything to do with mochi. Service was nice and they have a nice large outdoor area.

I was here with a friend and had sushi at 9:15 p.m. and the food was delicious!! Gyosa were good and the makis and spicy tuna were hella good!! Family business. Small shop with a small but nice menu. Delicious miso nigiri mochi. Unagi is served warm :) Nice, attentive and fast service. Maps takes you to the wrong side of the building - just walk around the house! Oh, 2 months later... Change of operator? Tattered menu, lukewarm miso soup, waiting times, diluted soy sauce, practically wasabi-free wasabi, staff at their limit... What a shame.

Pleasant seats outside, very tasty food and fresh sashimi. The operation was a bit behind, but you could tell that it was probably new, so this wasn't a problem anyway. The sake was also tasty.

Wow! Great reviews and a high average score for good reason. Impressive variety of sushi and nigiri, appetizers are delicious, and the sake and locals wines are a nice pairing. Prices are relatively reasonable and certainly fair for the quality and freshness. A small place that packs a punch. A must-visit!

We really enjoy eating here regularly. The food is always incredibly good and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Because you can watch the chefs prepare something, the meal is twice as much fun. Even though the dining room is quite small, it can fit a few people. We have already made reservations and eaten for 14 people at Hiami. So it also works in a small, fine sushi bar :D

Some reviews say that like any Japanese sushi restaurant, it tastes very good here. Absolutely not. Among all the sushi restaurants nearby and - to be honest, even in the surrounding area - Hiami stands out enormously in terms of quality. I have never eaten such good sushi. Tip: Ask the chef for a recommendation. There are really exciting specials there.
