Ein Abend voller Geschmacksexplosionen 😍 Unglaublich raffiniert, was ein Niveau. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder☺️

So ein tolles Essen haben wir lange nicht gehabt! Wir waren zum ersten Mal im New Josh und hatten das fünf Gänge Menü. Unglaublich aufwendige Teller wurden uns serviert. Garnierung, bei der man sich fragt, wie der Koch so was überhaupt hin bekommt. Einfach toll. Dazu ein Geschmack, den man so im Leben noch nicht gehabt hat. Tolle Kombinationen, sehr vielfältige Gerichte und Zusammenstellungen. Dazu eine überaus freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung rundete den Abend ab. Da wir in der Weinkarte keinen passenden offenen Wein gefunden haben, wurde extra eine Flasche zum „offenen Wein“ für uns erklärt. Toller Service. Wobei das New Josh schon an der Karte für ihre offenen Weine arbeiten könnte. Ich finde den angebotenen Weine aus Österreich und Deutschland fehlt einfach die „Lage“, um mit den tollen Speisen mithalten zu können. Trübt aber den überaus positiven Eindruck in keiner Weise. Echte Empfehlung aus meiner Sicht

Das Spargel-Menü im Mai war sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Ein Muss für jeden Feinschmecker!

Jeder einzelne Gang war ein Erlebnis für sich – perfekt abgestimmt, kreativ und geschmacklich beeindruckend! Auch die Getränkebegleitungen, sowohl Wein als auch alkoholfrei, waren außergewöhnlich durchdacht und harmonierten wunderbar mit dem Menü. Der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und absolut professionell. Wir waren schon an Sven Lachers früherer Wirkungsstätte in Ludwigsburg große Fans seiner Küche und freuen uns sehr, dass er mit dem New Josch am Killesberg wieder ein kulinarisches Highlight geschaffen hat. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder – uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Wir haben uns für ein Menü und eine Speise von der Karte entschieden. Der Ackersalat war sehr gut, die Suppe hätte etwas heißer sein können war geschmacklich sehr gut. Das Flanksteak war hervorragend wie auch das Kalbsgulasch. Ausgezeichnet auch der Nachtisch. Der alkoholfreie Rosè Sekt war der perfekte Einstieg. Erklärt wurde der Menüablauf von einer sehr erfahrenen Bedienung. Alles in allem -wunderbar.

Insgesamt gut – besonders die Flusskrebse und das Dessert haben mir gefallen. Die optisch ansprechenden Gerichte haben mir gefallen, aber manchmal hatte ich den Eindruck, dass der Geschmack im Vergleich zur Optik etwas hinter den Erwartungen zurückblieb.

Hier stimmt wirklich alles, die freundliche Begrüßung und Empfang, die edle und wertige Einrichtung, Qualität der super kreativen Küche , Genuss und Aromen pur, Wein Empfehlung , Auswahl und Qualität der Gläser, Teller und Anrichtung sowie Größe der Portionen , einfach nur zum genießen und sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank an euch und dem super Team.

Pure Begeisterung von mir (wir waren im Frühjahr 2025 da) kreative Küche mit interessanten Geschmackspaletten und hoch qualitativen Zutaten kombiniert mit so einem zuvorkommenden Service, wie man es in Stuttgarter Umgebung fast nie findet. Auch die Auswahl an offenen weinen war hervorragend! Ich kann nur sagen: macht weiter so und wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Absolut für Fine Dinnig. zu empfehlen. Das 6 Gang Menü eine Sensation. Aromen in einer Vielfalt und dazu Pinzettenküche. Vor ca 2 Jahren war ich schon mal da, damals war das Menü o.k. aber nicht Fine Dinning. Dies hat sich jetzt 100% geändert. Ich war völlig geflashed. Auch der Service war excellent. Sven Lacher kocht einfach nicht von dieser Welt – jedes Gericht ist ein Erlebnis! Wir kommen immer wieder, weil hier einfach alles stimmt. Der Service von Cindy Volkmer und Mauriz Ehret ist herausragend: herzlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Ein großes Lob auch an Sommelier Philipp Berg, der mit seiner Weinempfehlung jedes Menü perfekt abrundet. Hier fühlt man sich rundum wohl – absolut empfehlenswert!

Schönes geschmackvolles Ambiente, sehr schmackhafte und raffinierte Gerichte. Der Service ist hervorragend, freundlich und witzig. Die Weinbegleitung war ein unerwartetes Zusätzliches Highlight.

Wir haben unsere kleine Hochzeit mit 16 Personen im New Josch gefeiert. Obwohl das New Josch normalerweise keine veganen Optionen im Menü anbietet, wurde sich sofort auf dieses "Experiment" eingelassen und uns eine tolle Auswahl an veganen Menüs angeboten. Die Feier selbst war einfach nur perfekt! Der Sevice war unglaublich, das Ambiente super angenehm und das vegane Menü eines der Besten, die wir je hatten. Eine absolute Empfehlung für jeden. Tolles und sehr gutes Essen im einer hübsch Lage mit Blick über die Stadt. Der Service war professionell, und gut informiert. Das Lokal ist modern und wirklich hübsch renoviert. The intermediate course was the biggest surprise. A bomb of flavors that we didn't expect at this point. Otherwise perfectly balanced dishes with great surprises in taste. An outstanding evening full of enjoyment with food and the right wine. The visit is worth it. The prices are reasonable

Unfortunately I have to say that the New Yosch doesn't live up to what I expected. First the positive. The service was very friendly and competent. That at least saved something of the whole evening. Very hospitable and accommodating, but also understandably overwhelmed due to the number of guests to be served. When the restaurant was full, the guests had to wait far too long. Unfortunately there wasn't enough staff for a star restaurant. But that was all that was positive. It started with the fact that unfortunately there was a mistake when making the reservation. We had reserved a star menu. When the reservation was confirmed, I actually thought that it had been confirmed as a reservation. In retrospect, I have to say that the reservation confirmation is very confusing. When we were there and were really looking forward to a star menu, we were unfortunately informed that this was not possible. The boss there was condescending and unfriendly. In a harsh tone she just said that we had made the wrong reservation and now we had to have a normal meal. Inappropriate for a restaurant of this level. The waitress tried and did a very good job of saving the situation. The boss showed no commitment whatsoever. Unfortunately, the New Josch no longer has anything to do with the level of Josh from before. To be honest, I also found it annoying that many guests were there with a discount voucher for a gourmet menu. Strange in a star restaurant. And to charge €15 extra for four slices of bread with a little butter is almost outrageous. The two of us received a bill of almost €400 for three courses. Result New Yosch unfortunately never again/

We had our Christmas party at New Josch this year and had the entire restaurant to ourselves. It was a wonderful reception, very cozy and warm atmosphere, extremely good food and very attentive service. Price/performance was good and everyone on the team was very happy! The four of us had a wonderful evening with fabulous food and great wine accompaniment to the menu. A really great composition of flavors, a great menu and almost very good service, with a Swabian touch 😃. Two members of our table of four were able to find equally great dishes a la carte. What is perhaps even more remarkable: the portions were just right, both in the menu and in the starter-main course-dessert menu. We'll definitely be back!

My friend gave this to me as a fine dining experience. We sat there for 4 1/2 hours for a 5 course meal. The menu was high quality, but unfortunately didn't quite suit our taste. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is modern. The star deduction is because we paid €9.50 for a 0.75l of Teinacher water... I mean, we leave so much money for food and wine in order to then pay so much for water? That's pretty cheeky.

A great place of culinary finesse. We hadn't even had this restaurant on our radar and went there on the recommendation of a friend. We decided on the 6-course menu, which was accompanied by several greetings from the kitchen. In terms of taste and appearance, the food was on a star level and was truly an experience that was like going to the opera. We opted for the barbecue-themed brunch on a Sunday in the summer. The overall concept of the menu was designed with great attention to detail, the quality of the individual dishes was high, from the chicken in the Caesar salad to the pork, which was prepared on site for the main course and had just the right heat. We visited the restaurant for our wedding anniversary and reserved the table in advance. Unfortunately, we only found out on site that the menu should also have been ordered in advance. However, that wasn't a problem because the service was outstanding and better than anything we've experienced in Stuttgart. My wife is pregnant, but she too was able to enjoy the atmosphere thanks to the excellent non-alcoholic sparkling wine. We don't normally eat bread, but the bread at this restaurant was phenomenally delicious. We really enjoyed it and we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful evening, which started with small amuse gueules as an "Apéro" that included a watermelon lolly, a Baba ganoush tartlet and a spicy oyster - as unconventional as absolutely delicious, and seeing the scene for what was to come. My highlight: the halibut with green almonds. The evening ended with one of the best desserts we have had in a long time and more creative sweet gifts from the kitchen. Perfect service, nice terrace. Absolutely recommended and worth the money spent.

We celebrated our civil wedding at New Josch and it was just perfect. Big praise to the chef and the service team! The food and beverage accompaniment, including non-alcoholic alternatives, were excellent and the service was always very courteous and attentive. Each of our wishes was also taken into account in advance, e.g. with menu planning and support in laying out the table decorations, etc. The location itself is very beautiful inside and out - with great attention to detail, but still very modern and with a focus on the essentials! Since it was relatively cold and rainy on our wedding day in June, we were able to move the meal from outside to inside at short notice. We can recommend the New Josch 100%. Thank you very much again for the lovely day!

A really, really great restaurant. We had the fine dining menu with 6 courses and accompanying wine. The atmosphere is dignified. Unfortunately we couldn't sit outside because the weather didn't cooperate. The rooms are also very nicely and modestly furnished, so that the focus is on the menu. Very friendly hosts, including kitchen staff. A few weeks ago I was completely overwhelmed by the wine accompaniment to a 7-course menu, and here I could have liked a little more in the glasses. The quality of the wines and the pairing with the food is really excellent. The courses themselves are excellent. Great fish creations and in our case the main course, the back of Maibock, was great! Personal touch that even my partner doesn't share. For me it would be a little less where sauce is used. But we said a very personal touch. Our recommendation is clear. Priced at the level of a Michelin star.

We had the pleasure of eating at New Josch today and were warmly and professionally welcomed. As soon as we entered, we noticed the stylish ambience, which didn't seem overloaded at all and promised a relaxed, casual evening. We were even offered to enjoy the aperitif outside on the terrace. The outdoor terrace has a Mediterranean design, with olive trees and a fountain - simply great, stylish and decelerating. Now to the Lacher’s Fine Dining menu: All 6 courses were a real treat. Exclusive food, perfectly seasoned and stylishly served on the plate. Chapeau - that's star level! The wine pairing was first class, the service was always very quick and attentive. All wishes were read from the eyes. The New Josch is simply great and can be recommended wholeheartedly.

Sometimes you even discover something noteworthy in the usual familiar area. New Josch was a recommendation by friends and overdue for us to try it. So we went there and had a very nice experience, great food and very helpful and friendly service. You sit there in a very decent, upscale atmosphere (unfortunately also the prices are like this but I value good food and quality, so that was ok for us). All in all we‘ll be back there !! 😊

As part of a big birthday, we were guests at the “new josch” on April 27, 2024. What can you say? Full five stars in all respects. Yes, it is an upscale and correspondingly high-priced kitchen. BUT: It is worth every euro! The service is just perfect. Not intrusive and not always refilled immediately. Ms. Volkmer, who served us, is a lovely woman. Keeping an eye on what's important and always having fun. Your announcement of the menu courses cordially. About the food itself: A symbiosis of taste experiences for the palate. All menu courses are perfectly coordinated. Summa cum laude :-) Absolutely recommended. We would love to come back. About Dirk Frintrop's review: 1. Due to the structural location, it is NOT possible to have a view of the entire city. 2. The “acoustics” are pleasant and not too loud, as Dirk Frintrop communicated.

We were there for the first time on Saturday. The reservation is easy to make online and with direct confirmation. The interior and ambience is very cozy. Ms. Volkmer's service was professional, with the right amount of relaxedness and humor, without neglecting high-quality service. We really liked that. The menu was great, every course was tasty. Towards the end, the chef came to each table for a chat. Overall, a very pleasant and cozy evening! Price/performance is everything. I doubt very much whether a bottle of Teinacher mineral water has to cost 9.50 euros. It would be great if the calculation was reconsidered. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Very interesting restaurant with gourmet cuisine. We ate the menu. It was full of creativity. The service was always there and explained everything. Everything was great. The wine list is very unusual and intended for wine lovers. We didn't drink any alcohol and we really enjoyed the accompanying drinks. All in all a nice experience. We will definitely be back soon

We went to New Yosch for lunch with friends on March 3rd on so-called Family Sunday. The atmosphere is nice, we know it from before. The service from the young waiter and the boss was also very friendly and accommodating. However, what we were served as a Sunday roast that wasn't cheap was simply a disaster. When reheated the day before, the meat was burnt and completely dry and fibrous, the crust was black and bitter. The remaining components could at least be eaten with an appetite! The way you serve it could only be passed on to a fast food restaurant! The fact that the young chef then presented himself confidently at the table was almost arrogant! Even as a hobby chef, I would be ashamed if I had to serve such a meal to my guests! Unfortunately, I neglected to take pictures. We wish the team and especially the chef enough self-criticism, otherwise he will certainly not be able to succeed in his new place of work. Uncritical nouveau riches like to hang out there; We, who have earned our money through hard work and commitment, no longer want to afford this kind of food! Dr.E.

We ate at New Josch for the first time yesterday. The service was excellent, friendly and quick and always provided us with a lot of background information about the wine. Every course was a pleasure, both visually and taste-wise. The price level is definitely in the star range, will the star also come? The New Josch in Stuttgart Killesberg is the new top address for a gourmet meal in an upscale atmosphere. We were welcomed very nicely and our jackets were taken away from us - a service that you don't get everywhere. The restaurant's decor is elegant and tasteful, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing The service was excellent, the waitress was very attentive and answered any questions I had in a friendly and professional manner. The food was excellent, each dish prepared and presented with great care. The combination of taste and appearance was simply perfect. Of particular note was the homemade bread, which was simply delicious. Here you can tell that the kitchen is having fun and people are also making sure that everything harmonizes together. Overall, the evening was an unforgettable experience and I can highly recommend it. I will definitely come back and am already looking forward to the next time at New Josch ✨✨

Ware dort mit 7 Freunden feinst speisen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Gerichte waren alle auf den Punkt. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Spitzkohlrolle und das Lamm. Gerne wieder!

Ehrlicherweise fehlen mir hierzu die Worte, das Essen, der Service, das Ambiente. Man muss es erleben, keine Rezension dieser Welt könnte das beschreiben. Ein Must Go! Ich werde definitiv schnell wieder bei euch zu Gast sein.

Das New Josch ist ein top Restaurant - Essen & Service ist hervorragend.

Endlich hat es mit einem Besuch im neuen Josch geklappt. Das Essen war erwartungsgemäss von allerfeinster Qualität und ein wahrlicher Hochgenuss. Für einen rundum perfekten Abend sorgte der erstklassige Service. Der Sommelier ist uns äußerst sympathisch begegnet und hat uns perfekt beraten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Bei uns ist der Funke leider nicht übergesprungen. Alle Produkte waren zweifellos von sehr hoher Qualität, die Zubereitung war handwerklich überzeugend, die Gerichte teils filigran angerichtet, sehr schön anzusehen und geschmacklich toll. Die Summe der "Nebensächlichkeiten" hat uns letztlich etwas gestört - Es gibt kein Menü mit darauf abgestimmter Weinbegleitung - Die Karte ist gewöhnungsbedürftig strukturiert: Vorspeise, Vegetarisch, Hauptgericht, Nachspeise (auf Nachfrage ergab sich, dass die vegetarischen Gerichte als Zwischengang gedacht sind) - Der Service war nicht unfreundlich aber eben auch nicht zuvorkommend; wonach man üblicherweise gefragt wird, darum mussten wir explizit bitten - usw. In Summe fühlte es sich einfach nicht so an, wie wenn wir sonst schön essen gehen. Entsprechend waren wir auch schon nach 1,5h wieder weg. Schade :-(

Das Restaurant ist super gelegen auf dem Killesberg. Wir hatten aus dem Jagdzimmer einen tollen Blick über Stuttgart. Wegen dem wunderbar zuvorkommenden Service haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt. Wir waren 5 Personen und haben ein Mal die ganze Karte bestellt. Die Qualität der Speisen war durchweg sehr gut. Die Portionen können zwar ein bisschen größer sein, aber trotzdem gehen wir zufrieden nach Hause. Die Speisekarte war ausgewogen und jedes Gericht eine eigene feine Komposition. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das Lamm, der Hirsch, der Spitzkohl und die süßen Desserts. Die Räumlichkeiten waren sehr stimmungsvoll und schön. Für besondere Gelegenheiten ist das Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Super Ambiente, vor allem die Terrasse, man fühlt sich fast schon wie im Urlaub. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und das Essen war auch sehr ansprechend.

Ich hatte vor paar Tagen das Vergnügen, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen und war überzeugt von das Essen, das Ambiente und denn professionellen Service. Ich fühlte mich sofort wohl. Was mich am besten gefallen hat, war die Abstimmung der Speisen und Weine. Ich kann diesen Restaurants nur weiter empfehlen. Für mich erhält das Restaurant Aufjedenfall ein 5 Stern Bewertung.

Bereits zum zweiten Mal das neue Josch zum Dinner besucht. Jedes Mal ein kulinarisches Highlight. Top Service und angenehme, liebevolle Atmosphäre. Danke an das New Josch Team für die tolle Geburtstagsüberraschung. Für mich ist „der Apfel“ bereits ikonisch für das Dessert im New Josch :)

Für einen Abend mit kulinarischem Hochgenuss und hervorragendem Service ist das New Josch der “Place to be”. In einem Ambiente, welches das Elegante und das Schlichte optimal vereint, hat man einen sehr angenehmen Abend. Als wir im New Josch eintraten , würden wir herzlich empfangen und unsere Jacken wurden uns abgenommen. Am Tisch wurden wir vom ersten Moment an exzellent betreut und erhielten eine hervorragende Beratung hinsichtlich der Speisen sowie der Weine. Als wir das Essen erhielten, wurde jede Komponente ausführlich erklärt und die Präsentation der Gerichte war ausgezeichnet. Zusammenfassend zeichnet sich das New Josch durch den sowohl sehr aufmerksamen als auch sehr herzlichen Service aus, kombiniert mit einer hervorragenden Küche. Nicht außer Acht zu lassen ist ebenfalls der sehr schöne Weinkeller mit einem äußerst umfangreichen Angebot.

Noch nie habe ich so exzellent gegessen wie im „New Josch“. Ein Restaurant der Spitzenklasse. Alles stimmt bis ins kleinste Detail. Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden. Werde auf alle Fälle wiederkommen!

das new josch habe ich in den ersten wochen seit eröffnung 3 mal besucht. mir hat es dabei jedes mal viel freude bereitet. essen ist ausgesucht fein. der service freundlich und aufmerksam. ich komme wieder.

Sehr schönes Ambiente im Brasserie-Stil. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und engagiert. An einem Samstagabend war das Restaurant komplett voll. Die drei Service-Kräfte waren damit verständlicherweise überfordert, so dass ich mir am Ende den Wein selbst eingoss und einige Wünsche offen blieben. Das wird sich aber mit der Zeit sicher geben und ist natürlich auch dem momentan allgemein herrschenden Mangel an Servicekräften geschuldet. Das Essen war durchweg hervorragend. Angefangen beim wunderbar abgeschmeckten Amouse Bouche. Die Vorspeise war sehr gut, der Hauptgang eine Wonne. Endlich mal wieder eine dichte, tiefe, klebrige, lang eingekochte Sauce. Ein Fleisch mit Biss und Beilagen, die wiederum klasse abgeschmeckt waren. Das Dessert konnte mit dieser Qualität nicht ganz mithalten, war aber ein ordentlicher Abschluss. Bereits am Abend angemerkt und kritisiert: Die leider sehr trinkhemmend kalkulierte Weinkarte. Auch hier versicherte der Inhaber, dass er daran arbeite und sowohl die Varianz als auch Kalkulation der Karte anpassen würde. Sollte dies geschehen, wird das New Josch sicher zu einem Stammrestaurant. Ich würde mich freuen!
