Sabai-Sabai in Stuttgart

We were there in the evening. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was authentically decorated. The food was OK. Since it's not that cheap in terms of price, we would have expected a little more.

Top lunch for just under €7 or €9 for a large portion. Others probably see it that way too = big crowds. Food tastes very “authentic”, if I can say that after my two weeks in Thailand. Finally a place with hot sauce! Also suitable for vegetarians/vegans. Otherwise more like a snack bar. Employees are very friendly.

So far only ordered for delivery. Everything was sturdily packed in small paper cups, which I thought was sustainable! Pad Grapao tastes good, "slightly spicy" is light, but just right spicy and the gyozas are really the tastiest I've eaten in Stuttgart so far! Unfortunately I will now have to order more.

I like to go to Sabai-Sabei for lunch. There are always three delicious dishes to choose from for lunch, the people who work there are very friendly, the food is delicious - at a very fair price. I particularly liked the soups. My absolute favorite: Guay Tiew - flat rice noodle soup with chicken (and cinnamon). Especially when it's cold, there's nothing better. However, this soup is only available for lunch on Thursdays. 😉

Very tasty Thai restaurant in the west of Stuttgart. The owner is very warm, the Phat Thai is extremely tasty and the price is right. Highly recommended

Food was delicious, delivery of the order to the table was a bit disorganized, the door would never be closed by guests coming in, which is why it was always very cold and drafty. But the food was delicious 😀

The Pad Thai was great and authentic & the starters too. The owner was very friendly. Green curry was nice but unspectacular. I particularly liked the fact that you can get everything vegetarian too

Incredibly delicious food! There were four of us here and we all ordered something different. Every single one said exactly the same thing. Really very very tasty! The sharpness is also excellent. Anyone who likes spicy food will be happy here. You have to take your own cutlery and the tables are a bit high for eating, but that's really complaining at a high level. Overall the experience was very positive.

We had a really nice evening! The service is a 10/10, super nice and accommodating. All around familiar and warm. The food also tasted really good. You feel comfortable here!

Order: Unfortunately the food was really bad. I like to eat a lot of Thai but this had little to do with it. Wrong ingredients, hardly any taste and poor preparation. Really a shame! So I won't try it on site. Edit: the food was bad the second time too!!

Very tasty Thai food in this small restaurant. The Pad Thai was particularly authentic and is recommended. 😋 The staff and especially the owner are very friendly, personable and accommodating! The price/performance ratio was also great. The ambience is nice and appropriate. The sanitary area was clean. All in all a good overall package without a lot of bells and whistles.

Were there for the first time today. Excited from start to finish! Super nice service, very tasty food and at a moderate price! We'd love to come back. Great recommendation!

Wow, it was really a stroke of luck to come across such a gem right around the corner through my son, who spontaneously urgently needed Asian food that evening. Incredibly delicious food (no glutamate stuff like most Asian restaurants), fair prices and really friendly owners. Will probably be our new local Asian restaurant 😃

It's incomprehensible how a bad rating could even come about here. Insanely authentic cuisine. We had the seaweed rolls and the green curry. Mega delicious and the green curry like in Southeast Asia… very, very nice and friendly people! We'd love to come by again.

The tastiest Pad Thai in all of Stuttgart and at a good price. I really enjoy going here and have already convinced family and friends :D. The owner is super friendly and warm and the food is to die for. Also try the homemade spring rolls :)

There is truly nothing Thai about the food in Sabai Sabai. Dishes are confusing, they are put together with 20 different vegetables, basically anything that was about to be thrown out at the shop in a prepacked sauce. Protein is cooked separately and then added to your order, making it tasteless and just not a practice one would ever see in Thailand. It doubles/triples the number of dish options for the house, but takes away from the taste. Often baby can be seen crawling on a dirty floor, and it was then picked up by father/mother which will then serve customers with the baby in their hand. This is probably the most Thai thing about this place... The only reason why someone would go back here for the 2nd time is the price. But you can rest assured, you do get what you paid for!

This was our second time ordering food here. The first time we thought the restaurant was new and now we wanted to give them a second chance. We ordered the same meal three times and when we picked it up we noticed that two meals were missing. The employee then told us that we would have to wait another 15 minutes, but that the already prepared food would certainly taste good in the microwave. Sorry, but I don't go out to eat for my well-earned money. The satay skewers were dry and inedible. Even without a microwave. Unfortunately, none of the vegetables that were on the curry menu could be found in the food. It was just a tasteless, thick coconut cream. We don't understand how the almost 5 stars came about. Bought? The ambience was fine with a few high seats and ok for a snack. The whole restaurant smelled of cooked food and there was a small “Asian shop” behind the counter. I think that after the second chance we gave the restaurant, there won't be a third.

Food: The food was prepared quickly. The ingredients all tasted fresh and delicious. The starter was canceled. In general, the food there really surprised us and we would like to come back. Service: It's a self-service restaurant, we didn't know that at first and were a bit confused about how it worked, where the menu was, how to order. You order directly at the checkout, take your drinks and cutlery. So simple in itself. Ambiance: The location is not in the center of Stuttgart, but not out of the way either. So if you've had enough of mainstream, you'll be happy. The ambience is simple yet sweet. There isn't a lot of seating capacity in the store as we would have thought, but if you like it quieter, this is the place for you too.

Leider waren da zwei Spinnen in Bewegung an den Wänden deshalb konnten wir das Essen nicht genießen. Das Essen war in Ordnung, jedoch hat der Kellner mir einfach einen falschen Betrag abgebucht.

My lunch break highlight in the Heusteig district: delicious Thai dishes that change daily in large (or small) portions at incredibly fair prices. Looking forward to next time :-)

Absolut genial! Essen sehr lecker (tatsächlich authentischer als alles was ich in Stuttgart sonst so gegessen habe), immer frisch und abwechselnd. Portionen sind reichlich, sehr gute Preis-Leistung. Ohne Sabai-Sabai wäre mein HomeOffice sicherlich weniger angenehm ;) Danke!

Das Essen ist geschmacklich wundervoll abgestimmt und schmeckt vorzüglich. Ist auch kein Wunder, denn die zubereiteten Lebensmittel sind alle frisch. Die Atmosphäre ist locker und die Bedienenden sind freundlich, ja geradzu fröhlich und zuvorkommend. Will man sein Essen mitnehmen, wird es einem in umweltfreundlicher Verpackung mitgegeben, die man in der grünen Tonne entsorgen kann. Absolut empfehlenswert und jederzeit gerne wieder!

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter*innen, das Essen ist mega lecker und wird frisch zubereit, wir kommen mit Sicherheit öfters zu euch und das Prei-Leistungsverhältnis ist für Stuttgart natürlich unschlagbar.

Angeboten wird ein Mittagstisch mit täglich wechselnden Gerichten - kleine Auswahl an Gerichten diese schmecken aber sehr gut. Der Service ist schnell. Es sind Stehtische vorhanden teils mit Hockern teils zum stehen.

Thai Theke - immer zwei Gerichte zur Auswahl. Take away möglich. Wochenkarte nur vor Ort oder über Facebook. Stehtische und Garten im Sommer.

Das Essen ist gut, aber ich finde die zwei Damen, die immer hinter der Theke sind, ziemlich unfreundlich.

Sehr leckere, authentische Thai-Küche, alles frisch gemacht, kleine Auswahl, Portionen mittel (grössere Portion ggf. bestellen!), Preise niedrig, Essen im Stehen, kleine Räumlichkeiten, wirkt alles sauber.
