There were four of us here, we had made a reservation, and this was our first time visiting the restaurant... even though it's practically around the corner from us. From the outside, the restaurant looks very unassuming, and if I had just walked past without reading the reviews here, I probably wouldn't have gone in. There are only a few tables in the restaurant, and they were all occupied. Service was very good, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, there was only a somewhat limited selection of drinks, but that was OK. The big surprise was the food. Beautifully presented, a large platter for everyone (we asked beforehand if that was OK), and the food was utterly delicious. From the ingera to the meat dishes and even the vegetarian option, it was simply delicious and plentiful. The prices are rather moderate, which was very satisfactory for us. I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars, mainly because of the entrance area and the surrounding area... but the food and prices are the deciding factors... We'll definitely be back.

In my opinion it is the best Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurant in Stuttgart. The food tastes excellent. There is also a large selection of vegan dishes. The owner is very, very nice and warm. I would love to come back and recommend it to everyone!

Such a great restaurant that if it were possible I would give it 10 stars. The food was simply tasteful, fresh and authentic. The service was so professional, before we had time to ask anything it was already at the table. Servilletes, more injeera, just without asking. All I can say is wonderful! Keep it up! Hopefully it will stay in our neighborhood for many years to come.

I found typical Ethiopian dish which is rare to find here most of the time and recommend others to check if one is looking for the true test of Ethiopian dish, and their service which I also find is excellent.

The food tastes like it does in my home country. I come from Ethiopia myself and can only praise the quality of the dishes offered there. We had Shekla Tibs, Kitfo, Shiro Wot and Doro Wot. Do not miss out on this one.

The food is extremely delicious. The owners are totally friendly. Upon request, we were even able to pre-order injera and pick it up. I've eaten East African food several times and this was one of the best! I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes something spicier!

Ich hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, das äthiopische Imbissrestaurant Abyssinia Habesha zu besuchen, und ich muss sagen, dass es eine absolut bemerkenswerte Erfahrung war. Von Anfang bis Ende gab es zahlreiche Aspekte, die mir sehr gefallen haben. Die Gastgeber waren außerordentlich freundlich und authentisch. Ihre herzliche Begrüßung und ihre Leidenschaft für die äthiopische Küche haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Das Essen selbst war außergewöhnlich. Besonders das Injera, ein traditionelles äthiopisches Fladenbrot, war so authentisch, dass es fast so schmeckte wie in Äthiopien selbst. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre des Restaurants, das nicht sonderlich groß ist, trug dazu bei, dass sich alles sehr familiär und echt anfühlte. Dies verstärkte den Eindruck, dass man sich wirklich auf eine kulinarische Reise in die äthiopische Kultur begibt. Der Höhepunkt meines Besuchs war zweifellos der original äthiopische Kaffee, der zum Abschluss serviert wurde. Er übertraf sogar die Qualität vieler hipper Cafés, die ich besucht habe. Die Kombination aus dem duftenden Kaffee und den kleinen Popcorn-Snacks rundete das Erlebnis perfekt ab. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach authentischer äthiopischer Küche sind und Wert auf eine herzliche Atmosphäre legen, ohne überflüssigen Schnickschnack, dann ist Abyssinia Habesha definitiv die richtige Wahl. Ich freue mich bereits darauf, wiederzukommen und weitere Köstlichkeiten zu genießen!

Wer authentisch Afrikanisch essen möchte ist hier richtig. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker und super authentisch. Das Kichererbsen"dahl" unbedingt probieren. Nicht abschrecken lassen von der versteckten Lage. Ein Besuch auf alle Fälle wert. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar. Bedienung und Inhaberin super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Heute habe ich durch Zufall entdeckt, dass es ein neues äthiopisch-eritreisches Restaurant in Stuttgart gibt, juhu. Wir hatten Beyenet (ein vegetarisch/veganes Gericht mit verschiedenen Gerichten als Probierteller) und Shiro Wot, was beides sehr lecker war. Würzig, großzügige Mengen und schön angerichtet. Die Besitzerin war super freundlich, Getränke und Essen kamen schnell. Ambiente war entspannt, rustikal, äthiopische Musik im Hintergrund. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)

Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker ! Man isst mit den Fingern aber das ist ja gerade das was den Reiz ausmacht. Die Portionen sind sehr sättigend und auch die Beilagen wie Spinat oder rote Beete sind schmackhaft 😋

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Traditionell wird hier natürlich mit den Fingern gegessen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett & die Tradition ist hier wirklich an erster Stelle! Empfehlenswert!! ☺️

Sehr gutes Essen aus Abyssinia (Äthiopisch & Eritreisch) mit Originalgeschmack. Die Inhaberin und Köchin ist sehr nett und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei ihr als wären wir nach Ostafrika verreist. Immer gerne wieder

Tolles Essen! Gute Abwechslung zu den üblichen Restaurants in der Gegend. Die Atmosphäre könnte verbessert werden, zum Beispiel ein Lautsprecher könnte angeschafft werden und typische Musik im Hintergrund angespielt werden. Ansonsten alles top!
