HENSSLER AT HOME - City in Hamburg

Very tasty sushi. At first we thought we could only pick up sushi here, but luckily there were a few seats in the restaurant. The dishes are beautifully prepared and super fresh. The next time I'm in Hamburg, I'll definitely come back.

Me topé con este pequeño restaurante elegante encantador bastante por casualidad y lo último que esperaba comer en Hamburgo era sushi, pero me alegro de haberlo hecho. De hecho, me impresionó tanto la calidad del sushi (y la salsa de soja) y el atento servicio amable que volví al día siguiente. No tengo ni idea de cómo son otros lugares de sushi aquí, pero esto era perfecto para mí y la guinda en la parte superior era que el camarero muy amable era de Ciudad del Cabo (como yo! ). El Rollo de Salmón Flameado (Tempura Gamba en una hoja de shiso, aguacate, pepino, salmón flambeado, mayonesa Tobiko) fue fantástico, el TnT un poco menos pero las gambas de tigre negro Tempura con la salsa de inmersión más deliciosa fue maravilloso. Muy recomendable.

I stumbled upon this lovely elegant small restaurant quite by chance and the last thing I expected to eat in Hamburg was sushi, but so glad I did. In fact I was so impressed with the quality of the sushi (and soy sauce) and the attentive friendly service that I returned the next day. I have no idea what other sushi places are like here but this was perfect for me and the cherry on the top was that the very friendly waiter was from Cape Town (like me!). The Flamed Salmon Roll (Tempura Gamba in a shiso leaf, avocado, cucumber, flambéed salmon, Tobiko mayonnaise) was fantastic, the TnT marginally less so but the Tempura black tiger prawns with the most delicious dipping sauce was wonderful. Highly recommended.

HENSSLER AT HOME For us the best sushi! And not just in Hamburg 👍😋🫶 We've been coming here regularly for years and love it at lunchtime on the weekend or in the evening when we don't feel like or have time to cook. Our favorite location is Henssler at Home in the Galleria Passage Hamburg! The service here is very, very friendly and attentive! When it's closed here, you can go to the location on the Elbe, in Große Elbstrasse, where you have a wonderful view of the Elbe and the harbor in the evening. My favorite rolls: Yuki Roll (€18), TNT Roll (€17.50), Spicy Tuna Roll (€16), Hot Crush Roll (€18) And if it's on sale: Hamashi Sahimi with a sensationally delicious dressing! Today there was: Miso soup XO with shrimp, salmon, tofu, lemon (€8.50) Avocado salad (small: enough for 2 people) garden salad, avocado,... Super delicious dressing! (€8.50) Tempura tiger prawns are very tasty and should only be eaten locally. When you order them, they may not arrive as crispy. The mayonnaise with it is super delicious! (€15.50) Caribbean Ceviche Japanese amberjack (hamashi) with an incredibly delicious Ajo Blanco sauce (18 €) Flamed Salmon Roll Tempura Gamba in a shiso leaf, avocado, cucumber, flambéed salmon, Tobiko mayonnaise was the first time we had it, new on the menu? Moves into my top 3 sushi rolls (€18)

Went over from Graz and were looking forward to Hensler Essen. The food was super top. But the service doesn't work at all. I know the restaurant can hardly find people to serve us, but the girl who served us doesn't work at all! She was either new and really didn't feel like it. Too bad.

Yesterday we had sushi for the first time at Henssler at home - City. The service is and was friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is top. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We always eat here when we are in Hamburg. The kids think they have the best sushi ever. Price-performance ratio absolutely appropriate. Service friendly.

Super nice and competent service. Addressed all intolerances and found great solutions. The food is very tasty and meets my taste exactly (you can taste the products and nothing is over-seasoned).

Unfortunately, despite various free tables, we were not offered a table. Others simply sat down without asking, but that suddenly went away. Bad service, unfriendly and only concerned about certain guests. Price-performance is not right. Sashimi salty and not good quality. Location is great. Too bad.

I had a nice mix of sashimi and spritz. Nice and relaxing spot. Def will come back!!! Great service too ❤️

I always enjoy going to Henssler at home - City. The service is friendly and attentive. The quality of the food is top and the price-performance ratio is right. The beef tartare (picture 1) with the potato wedges was unfortunately taken off the menu, but the kitchen will prepare it upon request. The boiled salmon sushi (picture 2) is new as several customers asked for boiled/fried fish sushi. The stomach problems after eating mentioned in one or two reviews are in no way understandable for me, who has a sensitive stomach. The food is very easy on the stomach due to the quality of the food and the processing.

Great food and very nice service

Sushi was tasty, but in my opinion not worth the high price. The menu was also too extensive for me, which made it difficult to choose. The service was very friendly, courteous and fast! You can do it, but perhaps for a “quicker” lunch (the atmosphere doesn’t necessarily invite you to linger).

Unfortunately, the guest is not the proverbial king here! Despite the restaurant being completely empty, we were harshly denied one of the empty tables for four because there were only two of us there to eat. But we would have liked to have had a little more space for food and drinks and also for our handbags. The connoisseur ignored our request, completely unimpressed. The waitress' manner was offensive and completely out of the question. In the end we went to another restaurant and will avoid such service-unfriendly experiences at AT HOME in the future.

Sushi is ok, but expected more for the price. Location quite narrow and uncomfortable. Staff very taciturn. The food that was accidentally left on our table was then taken away after we informed us that we hadn't ordered it and brought to the correct table. Without an apology

Ich bin extra nach Hamburg gefahren und am Anfang freut mich über die Sushi. Ich habe Tuna Maki gegessen davon starke Bauchproblem bekommen. Hier bezahlt mal nur den Namen Henssler nicht die Qualität! Ich fand sehr schade und bin enttäuscht.

Super schön gelegenes Restaurant direkt am Fleet. Sehr netter und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen ist super lecker und frisch. Die Karte riesig. Immer wieder gerne!

Essen gut, Preise sind auch ok. Leider lässt der Service stark zu wünschen übrig. Lange Wartezeiten und für die Preise leider zu schwach

Ausgezeichnetes authentisches Sushi. Jede Rolle hat verschiedene Geschmackskomponenten und sie sind präzise zubereitet worden. Es hebt sich deutlich von der Norm ab, Wahnsinn 👍🏻 Schönes einladendes Ambiente und nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Auch eine schicke Abrichtung auf schönen Geschirr.

Preis war okay, Geschmack auch. Getränke allerdings etwas hoch kalkuliert und kein "normales" Bier im Sortiment. Bedienung sehr nett.

Das Sushi war hervorragend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist meiner Meinung nach sehr gut, da man für den Preis eine sehr hochwertige Qualität bekommt.

Die Mädels nett, das Essen sehr gut!!!Aber….. ich bin froh nicht der Inhaber zu sein! Es war gut zu tun, und dann passiert das unfassbare,alle Leute die um 17.00 kamen wurden weg geschickt, die Küche mußte erst aufgefüllt oder nachgefüllt werden. Selbst die Leute die draußen saßen wurden nicht bedient. Leute das geht nicht, habt ihr zu viel Geld?Schätze mal das der Inhaber nichts davon weiss!

Einfach ein rundum toller Abend. Das Sushi ist nicht nur super lecker, sondern auch wundervoll angerichtet. Das I-Tüpfelchen sind die Mitarbeiter, die alle extrem freundlich und aufmerksam sind. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen! Geht vorbei und überzeugt Euch selbst!!!!

Das Essen könnte lecker sein aber das "Crispy Chicken Teriyaki Donburi" war zu trocken und auch kalt. Und beim "Panko Flower Donburi" war viel zu viel Mayo-Sauce auf dem Reis. Das Essen wurde aber schnell geliefert.

Essen sehr gut. Deswegen zwei Sternen statt ein. Anscheinend bekommt das Personal nicht richtig bezahlt, weil muss um Trinkgeld betteln.

Als Sushi Fan kam ich nicht umhin das "Henssler Sushi" zu testen. Klar, ein Schnäppchen ist es nicht, aber hier bekommt man eben auch keinen Standard geboten. Ausgefallene Kreationen, die optisch auf höchstem Niveau umgesetzt sind. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, bei man das Gefühl hatte sie kennt die Karte.
