Henninger am Turm // Das Frankfurter Brauhaus in Frankfurt am Main

First of all, a big compliment to the young gentleman who served us; he was very friendly and very professional. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely recommended, and we'll definitely be coming back again :) 😀

We ordered beers (Kölsch) and a burger and a pork schnitzel. When the food arrived, the schnitzel had changed to chicken. The waiter made up for his mistake with two beers. The burger's minced meat patty was quite thick, otherwise a good basic burger.

Very bad restaurant. Kitchen close earlier. We came 10 minutes before, waiter have us a seat and menu but did not mentioned that the kitchen is closing. My childeren went to the toilet so everything took a little time. When they come back the waiter came and a lot of food was not possible anymore because they kitchen was closing. Why dont you mention that when you have the seat to us. Any normal waiter would mention that we must order gast because the kitchen is closing. So we went away to search for another restaurant. They could not care less also that we left, i think they want us to leave.

Very tasty food. The only minor drawback is that if you sit outside, it smells like a sewer. That's probably due to the location.

We were there with a group. It wasn't busy for a Sunday evening, we had a table reserved, and everything was fine. Our server was very warm, friendly, and efficient. The drinks and food were delicious. I had the cheese spaetzle with mountain cheese. Everything was excellent, and the portion was large enough. The mountain cheese was very aromatic, just as it should be. Now for the negative points. When I go to a restaurant and there are salt and pepper mills from *gut&günstig* on every table, I find that completely inappropriate. Are all the ingredients purchased at the cheapest price? It makes you wonder. Then I went to the basement to the restroom. The way the sink area looked there couldn't really be a good restaurant. I think the restroom is a bit like a restaurant's calling card. If they don't take cleanliness seriously there, how about the kitchen? And if you object that it can sometimes look like that in the evening after a day of business, I say a resounding no. The deposits on the sink and the electrical outlets are much older. An absolute no-go for me. The food can't do much to save the day. We won't be going there again.

The food is good quality, the portions are decent, and overall, it's tasty. The beer is good, and we come here often.

I ordered the paella, which had a consistency almost like a risotto. The salmon was very good, but unfortunately, the paella wasn't good. It was much better at first, but now the food is often so-so. The service, however, was excellent; a nice young lady.

The quality is okay, sometimes better, sometimes mediocre. Prices are reasonable. Good service, plenty of seating, you can always find a table.

Very stylish, delicious food, reasonable prices for a big city. Super friendly service. We'll be back.

So much fun! Great place to visit

We have enjoyed our visit to the Frankfurter Brauhaus for many years. Friendly staff and a wide selection of food and drinks. A major plus is the accessibility (entrance and restrooms). After dinner, a digestive stroll to the Goetheturm is a good idea. It was faithfully rebuilt after an arson attack. ⚠️ The Goetheturm is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility. Alternatively, you can end the evening at the bar at 'Franziska' – a panoramic restaurant in the newly built Henninger (residential) tower right next door (reservations recommended).

We discovered the restaurant online and have now ordered food online for the second time. The first time, we had the creamed schnitzel and veal liver. Today, for the second time, we had the veal liver, roast pork, hand cheese with music (although the music was missing), and then the beef sausage with sauerkraut. Everything tasted very good, except for the hand cheese with music, which was a bit lacking and could be improved. Very good food, the knuckle of pork was one of the best we've ever eaten, super juicy and crispy. The asparagus with Frankfurt green sauce was divine. The service was super friendly. We appreciated that all the more a day later when we experienced the complete opposite in a restaurant near Atzenberg...

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and accommodating.

Very large venue, but attractively designed. We received a very friendly welcome and were well looked after. The menu offers a very diverse selection of Hessian specialties, with and without meat. We had a 300g breaded cutlet of very good regional quality. All sources are described in the menu. All beers offered are the brewery's own products. A small shout-out to the designers of the interior decor! The planting should be reconsidered and, if necessary, adapted to the ambiance. The dried-up "office vegetables" on the pillars make a sad impression. Best regards, Claus!

Good, down-to-earth German cuisine. The prices are really ok and the atmosphere is really nice! If you want to watch football, you should make a reservation a few days in advance, as the good seats are limited and you can't see the screens clearly from every seat in the restaurant.

We really liked it. The food, drinks and service were exceptionally good!! The saying on the wall made our day.

It's delicious, but the further you go, the more greasy it becomes. I think it would be nice to have pickled radish. For coffee, you can use all Purima sugar.

Wenn man sich die Bewertungen an sieht weiß man eigentlich schon alles. Reine Abzocke, die Preise steigen die Portionen werden kleiner wie das Schitzel, das sieht schon wie ein Kinderschitzel aus, reine Sytemgastronomie, schnell gemacht , alles schon vorgefertigt angeliefert. Schnelles Geld verdienen und die Gäste verarschen. Und dann wird man noch vom Betriebsleiter dumm angeredet wenn man Kritik äußert. Wer sich das gefallen läßt, ist selber schuld. Ich gehe lieber woanders hin, wo man noch als Gast behandelt wird.

Cozy, fast and friendly. The breaded schnitzel comes out of the kitchen surprisingly quickly... Good beer selection.

The staff is very nice and committed, the location is also quite good, especially at the huge counter. The food is ok, but it doesn't really impress me. Great for large groups thanks to its size.

First visit from the USA for a work trip. Food and service was great. Our server made us feel very welcome and was helpful recommending food and drink items.

This restaurant should not be confused with the revolving restaurant which has another name. This is in front of the super tower. Good beer, good food, good music and good atmosphere

Definitely recommended! Especially since, with the exception of the toilet, it is also barrier-free. Has both a good kitchen and a simple bar. It also has plenty of seating. Also for larger groups. The ambience is modern/rustic inviting. And the sauces are served on the table in the old fashion ;)!!

The food is good and fresh and delicious. Price performance very good. Beer is absolutely delicious and service is motivated and courteous. We were satisfied and would definitely come back. We particularly liked the fact that we didn't have to wait and the service was quick and friendly despite the high volume of visitors. We had Frankfurter schnitzel, veal meatball, and 🐖 roast, everything was freshly prepared and really tasty.

Classic brewery food, very tasty, service friendly and you can get a seat spontaneously. Something often goes wrong when ordering, fries instead of fried potatoes, etc., but it doesn't really bother me personally, and the service always offers to deliver the right thing. It's actually nicely decorated, but it always seems a bit empty and cool to me. Overall great place for lunch :-)

Good restaurant, we had a business lunch and were able to introduce our colleagues from France to some of the local dishes. The service was very good, fast and friendly for that 10 out of 10. The rest was good and as I expected. Gladly again for a business lunch.

The place has the charm and volume of a train station bar. The staff is arrogant and pretentious. Absolutely not recommended, there are much better places in Frankfurt.

Nice restaurant, very large with three areas: restaurant, "fireplace room" and cozy bar area. Service friendly, open to a chat. Not that cheap in terms of price, just Frankfurt. Food is ok, it's a matter of taste. Obatzder with pretzel can be ordered with a drink.

We enjoy coming to eat here. It's big, but when it's full it can quickly get loud. The selection of dishes is sufficient and there are also real vegetarian highlights. However, everything is already prepared - but this means that you can always eat very quickly. :-) the service is really excellent. Friendliness is lived here. The staff has been very consistent for years - speaks for itself. Thanks! You don't see it often. There are extra chairs for children, but unfortunately no changing facilities. If there isn't much going on, you can easily do this on one of the benches. We'll be back in 2025...

We were at the restaurant at Henninger Turm on Boxing Day. The food was good. However, the portion could have been larger. I had goose breast with red cabbage and dumplings. The beer is, as it should be in a brewery, very good. The prices are really okay for Frankfurt standards. We then had dessert. The service was friendly and also very quick. Only the ambience is rather simple and not festive. Anyone who values ​​this is in the wrong place.

I would recommend here. Good and drink are really good 👍🏻 I love it 🥰 Pork legs are delicious and not too salty. Thai people can eat them.🥰❤️

Cool waiter, great schnitzel, but side dishes could be a little more

I personally didn't like it. Had the mushrooms with potato dumplings from the Christmas menu. The sauce was sour and the mushrooms were poorly cleaned. Sponges would still be present in sponge fungi. 4 hours of acid belching. Drinks 30 minutes. For 18.50 euros for the meal and 9 euros for 2 cokes, that wasn't enough.

Always very kind staff. Good food and beer! We often find a place even without a reservation. Suitable for children, screens to watch football matches.

My favorite restaurant in Frankfurt!

Schrecklich - ich würde nicht empfehlen, dort zu essen. Unfreundliches Personal. Die Schnitzel waren zu salzig, das Fleisch fettig und voller Knorpel und die Pommes waren hart.

Food was okay, good selection and tasted good too. Unfortunately, the service was overwhelming, but it wasn't due to the operation but rather the way it was distributed. Our waitress had to serve 3 large and 2 small tables. Another waiter only had one large and 2 small ones. Our waitress tried hard, but couldn't do more than serve. It would have been nice if the other waitress had helped or taken over a table. Maybe you should be flexible in the division.

We've been there a few times and we've always enjoyed it. The facility is great. The staff is attentive and the food is delicious. Today I had the wild ragout from the Christmas menu with beans, potato gratin and salad. It was a dream! Super tasty, tender meat and the potato gratin was very tasty! I was thrilled and so were the others who were with us.

This restaurant is more than recommended. Mega friendly and authentic staff. The food is all top quality. The festival beer in particular was a real culinary delight.

Great service, we redeemed a voucher and weren't looked at stupidly but were served great and the food was very tasty. We ate knuckle twice and the portion was very good and the food was very tasty! Gladly again, even without a voucher.

The best place for beer and food!

The price/performance ratio is not right here at all. The food was generally so lightly seasoned, as if it came from a hospital kitchen. Only the green sauce of the Frankfurter Schnitzel tasted like something without subsequent seasoning, but unfortunately and strangely too sweet. Otherwise, the schnitzel had a good golden-brown breading and the meat was tender. We sat there and waited for almost half an hour before we were allowed to order. The interior of the restaurant is modern and somewhat factory-like, which looks very chic. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't particularly inviting because it was very loud. But that could also have been because a large number of people had reserved a long table at the time in order to possibly celebrate something.

Once again we ate a really tasty meal, large portions and service that you can hardly find anymore. Very attentive and friendly. We also like the location - whether outside or inside. We always enjoy coming back.

We were a small group of 5 people. All main courses (4 different ones) were hardly seasoned and weren't particularly big for the price. The extra charge for meat (in my case chicken for €5.80) is absolutely overpriced. The price-performance ratio is far removed from any reality. Unfortunately, the service was also minimal. The waiter seemed annoyed and unwilling to offer us a seat outside (even though we had reserved). The toilets are very dirty and many things were broken. This shouldn't be the case in a restaurant with such prices. Unfortunately the entire experience was not recommended. The restaurant is large and beautifully decorated. The prices of the drinks are appropriate.
