We spontaneously looked for restaurants and saw this small restaurant/snack bar in Frankfurt. The reviews were good so we went in. The selection of dishes is not large, which suggests that they are prepared very well. And that's how it was! Very tasty Korean food. I can recommend it.

Stir-fried pork is better than the one I had in Korea.

I enjoyed it so much! It's my first Korean meal in two weeks, and the stir-fried pork was so delicious that I took a picture only after eating it all. The owner was friendly and it was a really nice evening! Thank you~!

I ordered the ‘crispy chicken’. But I received RAW chicken meat. Inexplicably, the rice had apparently been placed on top of the chicken so that you couldn't see the meat... This is absolutely unacceptable, unhygienic and also dangerous. It was definitely our last order there.

Delicious stone-grilled bibimbap anytime😋 You can choose the meat and sauce to put on it, so everyone can eat what they like! The soup with seafood was also delicious with just the right amount of spiciness! The owner is also kind 😉 I'll come back later!

The food was extremely delicious! I can really recommend it to anyone who loves Korean cousins. The staff are also extremely friendly and it is a pleasant atmosphere. They also have extremely nice tableware, which is very consistent with the new menu. I would love to always come here if I lived in Frankfurt. :D

I happened to stop by a Korean restaurant while traveling, but I didn't know it would taste better than Korea. The owner provides such excellent service that I plan to come here once a day. The food was so delicious that I ate it so quickly that I couldn't take any pictures. A truly delicious restaurant recognized by Koreans!

A Seoul food Korean restaurant that I went to twice in a row on November 13th and 14th, 2024! It was day 32 of my trip to Europe, and although I went to a Korean restaurant in between, I felt like I would pass out if I didn't eat Korean food, so I went there! On the 13th, I ate pork rice bowl and it had a fiery taste and was quite delicious! The next day, even though it was the same day as my flight to Korea, I went there again for lunch! I don't know if the male owner remembers, but I was short on cash by a little less than 1 or 2 euros, and he told me to just give him that, so I was very touched. Sorry for posting the review so late!! (At first I thought he was being unfriendly, but it turned out he was a tsundere boss haha) For your information, I have been living abroad for 19 years, and I think being able to eat Korean food in such a far away country is a blessing in itself! If you really know how hungry you are, you can eat anything delicious :) And if the quality is this good at European prices, I think it's a really cheap meal! May you prosper~!!

It's really so delicious Jjamppong tastes like Gyodong Jjamppong. The bibimbap was amazing!! It's not an imitation Korean restaurant, but the two really cool owners serve delicious food💗 If you want to eat delicious Korean food in Frankfurt, come here!

I went to have lunch, but I saw that the staff didn't come out with a headset on and didn't wash their hair while they were cooking. The hygiene was a bit poor. The staff weren't very friendly and I think I only brought back bad memories with me.

I never ate Korean food... I gave up after two days of travel. I visited here because other places were closed! I was so happy after taking a bite of kimchi stew… When I got there around 5:20 PM, it was closed because it was break time, but they came and opened just at 5:30 PM. Just wait a bit!

I have traveled to various regions such as North America and Europe and tried many Korean restaurants, but the kimchi stew and bulgogi ttukbaegi here were beyond my imagination. The stew had no taste due to the red pepper powder and cabbage added to the water, and the meat in the bulgogi ttukbaegi came out in lumps and had a fishy taste. I had high expectations because of the good reviews, but I was very disappointed.

While on a business trip, I went to dinner with two colleagues. I ordered jeyuk, kimchi stew, and stew. Only the pork was edible, the rest was bland, fishy and not very tasty.

It's really delicious... Koreans can attest. I hope Koreans who are tired of European food will come here!! Kimchi stew soup is Korea itself.

All German food was salty or greasy, so I looked for a Korean restaurant and it was really delicious!! The Korean owner cooks delicious food and is friendly😆

There were 6 of us who spontaneously ate here and the staff was friendly! It's a small restaurant and tables were pushed together for us so we could sit together. The food was very tasty, if there was one thing I could complain about it would be that the portions could have been larger ;) We enjoyed it and were very satisfied :)

The best Korean restaurant in Ppu🥹 The owner spoke Korean, so I was able to order comfortably. I ordered tteokbokki, bibimbap, and kimchi stew for 39 euros and it was really delicious! The kimchi stew was as good as a real Korean restaurant, so I drank all the soup haha. I want to come again next time I come to Germany.

It was a truly digestive food for my wife and I, who were exhausted from constantly inhaling flour during our trip to Europe. Of course, it tastes different from the one in Korea, but I felt that they put a lot of effort into making it taste as similar to Korean Jjamppong as possible by using German ingredients rather than Korean ingredients. Yes

After eating kimchi stew, my stomach cleared up. I almost ate the whole pot, even the pot. Wow, it’s so refreshing that I can’t even explain it. Looks like they need to open a branch in Korea... If you are looking for a Korean restaurant in Frankfurt, I definitely recommend it. I highly recommend trying kimchi stew.

I've been looking for all the Korean restaurants around, but this is definitely the best Korean restaurant. It is run by a Korean owner, and he has the skills to be a good restaurant even if he were to run a business in Korea. I ordered spicy pork because I wanted to eat spicy and refreshing Korean food, and the spicy taste was no joke, it was really delicious. If you are looking for a Korean restaurant nearby, just come here. You don't regret it.

Jjambbong is delicious. It's not that spicy. There isn't that much seafood in it, but for 16 euros, it's good value for money in Germany.

Food has very small portions for the price which is not at all worth, it tastes average. Seating space is small and feels too cold in winters. The heaters are not placed properly. Overall it was an average experience.

Used to eat here a lot during my lunch breaks and i must say over the past few months the quality has been sinking a lot. I do not know if the cook changed or they are trying to tackle inflation by downsizing but the food definitely took a turn maybe a year or so ago. I miss the OG Seoulfood, please bring it back!

En general no impresionado. Lo primero que nota es que la zona de estar es pequeña y estrecha y no me dijeron que tenía que pedir en el mostrador. Así que esperé un poco hasta que vi a otros clientes subiendo al mostrador para ordenar. Luego querían que pagaras en el momento en que ordenas y luego me informó que hay una opción para una propina, así que me sentí incómoda y presionada para dar algo, así que solo le doy el 10 %. No estoy de acuerdo en dar propinas antes de recibir cualquier comida o servicio. Cuando recibí mi comida, el arroz estaba demasiado cocido. No sé si eso fue resultado de que mi propina solo fue del 10 %. Pedí el bulgogi de carne y no tenía mucho sabor. Siento que la mejor parte de la comida fue el kimchi.

Tiny restaurant with few seats and in a dirty side of the city, however the food was tasty

I absolutely loved their korean dishes and I would recommend the one with tofu, especially if you are vegan. The glass noodles didn’t really had an intensive taste so it was just alright, but the kimchi soup was delicious. Everything is really tasty but there is not much space inside to sit down.

It's been a long time since I had Jajangmyeon, and it was much more delicious than the one I had in Korea!! When I took my first bite, it had a very fiery taste and I enjoyed it so much. I liked that the prices were cheaper than other Korean restaurants, and the owner was very nice, so I had a good meal during my trip!

Ordered a takeout and the food was really delicious and the price was reasonable. The restaurant looked cozy and had options for seating but we opted for takeout. Unfortunately, there was no English menu but you can use the pictures on the menu or google translate. Highly recommend this place if you need a K-food fix whilst in Frankfurt💞

I had garlic chicken and bulgogi kimbap and it was so delicious that I also ordered kimchi kimbap!! It was cheaper and more delicious than other Korean food places. The store was clean and the owner was friendly, which was great!! I received kimchi as a service and ate it happily!!

Ordered chicken with vegetables but only got chicken. When asked, the service person wasn't seriously interested in the whole thing. He told me that they have been working on adapting the card for a long time, so the problem is known there.

The diameter of the kimbap was 5cm, there wasn't enough seaweed, it all burst. The rice was cold and hard. It wasn't cut well so the seaweed was connected. It's embarrassing to say this is Seoul's kimbap to foreigners.

I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered bibimbap with beef and kimchi for €16.40 and was disappointed with the quality of the meat. The pieces of meat were very small and had absolutely no taste. The dish only tasted like vegetables. To be honest, I've had much better bibimbaps at this price. What also surprised me was when I was asked at the checkout if I wanted to tip for the service - in a self-service restaurant. The ambience was also disappointing. It would be better to say that there is no ambience at all. Overall the food was ok but nothing special. I wouldn't recommend it or go there again.

Not worth even 1 star I ordered Jjamppong and Dolsot Bibimbap. The air is so dry that it stinks. The jjamppong was lukewarm and the noodles were medium noodle. Someone said in a review that Jjambbong was delicious ㅠㅠ I found this place after searching for Korean food on my first business trip to Germany. I'm really disappointed If a Korean restaurant can't manage basic rice bowls, how can they manage everything else? It's the beginning of a business trip, and I'm very worried that I'll get sick after eating. Most of the time, I give it a good rating even if it's not tasty. It's so shocking that they sell spoiled food. Boss, if you see this post, please take care of food ingredients.

I was a regular at this place for a couple of years now. And lately, food quality is coming down and as well the service. I will give not go there again.

The food is so-so (Jeyuk is good, stone pot is not so good) The boss is kind After responding to the staff... it was so bad. It seems to be the lowest among places run by “Koreans” in Europe.

It's really delicious here! The tteokbokki is spicy and especially the jjamppong bulgyang is the best. I ordered three things: totbokki, stir-fried pork, and jjamppong rice, and all three were delicious. I think it's the best Korean restaurant around Jungang Station. The service was good and the person was really friendly. I went just before lunch and the tables filled up quickly. I will visit again next time

I stayed in Europe for 2 months and it was my first time experiencing the taste of fire. The portions are huge and they put a lot of care into the food. The staff are also friendly.

Unfortunately not as good as hoped. It's clean on site, but it was quite cold and therefore rather uncomfortable to sit on. Many dishes were deleted from the menu, and some of the ingredients in individual dishes (e.g. the fried vegetables). The taste of the food was okay, but afterwards it was heavy in the stomach. We were really looking forward to the meal because of the many positive reviews, but unfortunately we can't recommend it.

The Dolsot is so so so so so GOOOOD 🥰 Been so long since I tasted a good Dolsot like this one!! 🥹 Everything’s pretty tasty and authentic, but the street food size portion is a little less for the price. Still recommended !! Extra note: Card payment only available above 15€

I ate really good Japchae there 5 years ago. Now everything tasted burnt and barely seasoned.

It either has no taste at all or is very salty. Jjambbong is just plain water. It looks like salt was poured on the meat. The amount of rice disappears after eating three or four times. I'll give you an honest review This place is not good enough to be called a restaurant. The kimbap is made by someone who has only made it a few times, and the noodles in the jjamppong are made from refrigerated or frozen noodles and are fast food-style noodles. It seems that the food quality evaluation is not detailed because mainly foreigners come here, but the chef does not seem to have learned professional cooking.

Ambience and size are not the main strengths of the restaurant. But it seems very authentic. Food tastes great, especially the soups. Therefore definitely 5 stars.

I went to a Korean restaurant and ate very expensive food and thought, “Okay, this is enough to satisfy me in Germany.” I came here to Seoul Food and ate stir-fried pork, stir-fried seafood, jjambbong, kimbap, and tteokbokki, and I would like to give it a score as the best. They actually cook it for you~!! I really enjoyed the meal.

I stopped by briefly during my trip to Frankfurt. After eating Haksen for a late lunch, I ordered beef kimbap, stir-fried pork, kimchi, and air rice for a quick dinner. All the food suited my taste well and was delicious. I ate a bowl of stir-fried pork in no time, impressed by the fiery flavor. Honestly, it's better than the stir-fried pork I had in Korea ^^ I guess the pickled radish suited my baby's taste buds, and the kimbap was also perfect, and the kimchi wasn't too spicy, so he ate it well. The owner was very friendly, and the service, taste, and atmosphere were all satisfactory. Unlike other Korean restaurants with a lot of Asians, this place seemed to be popular with Germans as well, as I saw many Germans visiting while waiting for takeout. Sir, I really enjoyed the meal. I went to see the reviews and was disappointed. Is the rice old or undercooked? It is hard and hard to chew. This is the first time I've seen a tip asked for when paying. But it's not friendly or delicious... I thought it was America.

On the last leg of my 10-day trip to Western Europe, I went to a Korean restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a friendly owner. The K-bulgogi and refreshing seafood jjamppong served in a tasteful fasting bowl during the holidays that I missed were so delicious hahaha.

I stopped by a Korean restaurant on a business trip... It was Chuseok, so I missed Korean food even more, but I ate spicy tteokbokki and seafood. Seafood Jjambbong. Kimchi pancake, etc. It was so delicious. It's Chuseok and the owner's nostalgic subs are even more touching. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I am actively posting reviews haha.

Die Zutaten im Bibimbap waren nicht frisch. Das Hühnerfleisch eine unansehnliche Mischung aus Fleisch un Haut. Der Geschmack war einfach nur schlecht. Früher war dieses Schellrestaurant gut. Nun lässt es leider auch von der Sauberkeit stark nach. Die Küche wirkt unsauber und der Speiseraum ungepflegt. Die Preise sind unverhältnismäßig hoch.
