The food is very tasty and authentic Korean taste.

Although it was busy and we hadn't reserved a table, the boss was super nice and very friendly to us. The food was tasty and served quickly.

This was our second time there and the food was okay. Although it was really surprising. Not able to get a portion of rice with 4 different dishes. The drinks came quickly, as did the food. The location is quite nice on the ground floor. This time we were put in the musty, funny-smelling basement. The service then stopped showing up.

Im korean.•.•.••… this is not a Korean food••.•••.••Frozen food in a microwave•.••.••… .. The chicken came out 3 minutes after ordering. And then, just 3 minutes later, the kkanpunggi came out.. This... It's a frozen taste that can't even be called the taste of a Korean company... Except for us, there were foreigners in front, behind, and on both sides... I was worried that they might mistake this for k-food and be disappointed... .. It was a taste and service that cannot be forgiven by a glutton…

We discovered this place because we are becoming passionate about Korean cuisine. We still don't know many typical dishes so we can't wait to try new dishes here. We tasted the Korean Korn Dog here for the first time and we were pleasantly satisfied. The taste is very good and the good thing is that you can customize it outside. The staff was very kind and friendly. The place is very beautiful and crowded so I recommend reservation because we didn't know but luckily they had free tables that day. We will definitely go back and try new dishes to discover!

They ask for reservations for empty seats. It is forbidden to sit with Corn Dog. At least it should have said on the door that it was “to go”.

Corn dogs were medium, nothing tasted except ketchup and mayo. Customer service was rubbish, we received dirty napkins. Had to wait outside.

Very tasty food, I wanted to take a corn dog with me yesterday and when it started raining I was brought straight in and was allowed to eat inside. Then the hunger really woke up and I ordered something straight away. The food is very authentic and a must for spiciness lovers.

There is a colleague who is probably Turkish but looks as strange as a Koreaboo. Recently I was eating here with 3 friends (headscarf wearers) and I immediately received strange energy from her. When we asked for a table, she sent us to the basement. My question as to whether there was anything free at the back was completely ignored. As we walked to the stairs I saw a seat for 4 become available at the top right next to the window. I pointed out to the waitress that there was a place for us here, but she ignored me and said she would send us right back up when she cleaned up. We waited at a table in the basement but she didn't come down. When me and my girlfriend ran upstairs to get a drink, we saw that this incompetent waitress had given the reasonable table that was vacant to someone else who came after us. We felt very poorly received. It was also very cold down in the basement and smelled like the toilets next door. At some point our waitress decided not to serve us at all. We were very shocked by their behavior towards us and would not recommend Sojubar.

Very warm and considerate waitress, she is like an elder in her own family hhhh The bibimbap is super delicious! Highly recommended! ! The bean sprouts in the side dishes taste quite good. I am willing to come to this store again for the side dishes❤️ The fried hot dog dough may have been fermented for too long and has a bit of a wine taste🤔️The sauce is a bit too much, but you can try it once and see✨ Looking forward to coming again with friends next time🥺✨

The ambience is somewhat reminiscent of a French bistro, lots of small tables in a small space, which is not a disadvantage. The service was outstanding. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. I looked for a picture in the menu in Maps Tteobokki Scharf. I got something that didn't have much in common with the picture. Only half an egg and that cold was rather irrelevant. The sauce that covered everything had the consistency, smell and taste of ketchup with a lot of added spiciness. I like spiciness, so this was good. Many German guests are likely to be overwhelmed. But ketchup is simply inappropriate. My companion had a spicy soup, which was delicious and well prepared. So mixed food.

Bought corn dogs after seeing it so many times on Tiktok. Card payment not possible? Should be standard in Frankfurt, but oh well. The service wasn't particularly friendly and neither was the boss. Plus, we were basically thrown out because corn dogs were only to go. We were then allowed to enjoy our corn dogs in the rain🤧 The corn dogs didn't even taste good. The overall experience was bad. Never again. 15€ so we couldn't even enjoy it if you could ignore the disgusting taste of the greasy cheese...

One of my favourite Korean restaurant in Frankfurt and I just love the small chic ambience here. The staff here is very friendly and the food tastes amazing every time and it’s been consistent for the last 3 years I’ve been here regularly

Very impressed with this cafe. The food is very tasty, everything we ordered was just great. We were greeted very kindly, served with a smile, very polite staff, every establishment would have one like it was here. As for the atmosphere, it is quiet and comfortable. In general, I really liked the institution!!!

The food was delicious and prepared quickly. We didn't wait long for food for 6 people. For people who can't eat with chopsticks, cutlery would have been good. Prices are a bit too expensive. I paid around €19 for my dish and drink.

The service was very poor, I waited almost for 1 hour and a half for having a dish, and only me didn’t get anything while others who came here later than me already got the food. And the owner suddenly asked me if I were from Korea, just randomly guessed my nationality based on my looking. It’s obviously racism, and I told her it’s a racism, I don’t want to tell you. And then she just kept saying that I am definitely from Asia, either Korea or China, i couldn't stand that anymore and were complaining about that, and asked her “Woher Kommst du”, and she tried to correct my German saying it's “ Woher Kommen Sie” I said it's the same in German. And then she got upset and shouted out to me like “get out of here” in German with a strong ascent. She thought she is fluent in German, but definitely not - Don't try to teach other people's German if you can't even speak it, boss. Fix your accent. And you ruined my day. Please don't judge someone's nationality based on their appearance. For your information, I've lived not only in the country you guessed but also in many other countries :) I've never been treated the same way as you, who live in Germany and don't speak German well. And the owner himself looks Chinese. I really had a very high expectation when I came here, I was a first customer, but the most horrible experience I've had so far visiting the restaurant in Frankfurt. The food was good but the service was very very poor. I will not visit here once again.

Service is sometimes slow when it's busy but always friendly. Food is top. I enjoy going there more often. Soju is a bit more faithful but good selection. Corn dogs are awesome. You should make a reservation on the weekend

It is a cozy Korean restaurant. I got Mandu and a corndog. The food was delicious. But it gets crowded at the evening, so if you want to eat your dinner there better reserve a table, as we did 🙂

Nobody was waiting so we just seat, the employe come to us literally saying why you seat without permision or something like this, I instead nobody was waiting, and more than one table was free, she make my hungry finish…. I went without eating, and never coming back! Some people can’t work

Personally, I didn't particularly like the clear fish soup (No. 14). Maybe it's a matter of taste. The restaurant is not suitable for special occasions, at least upstairs, this is local for spontaneous dining. It's always nice and hot there and the tables are very close to each other. The service is friendly.

Highly recommend the crispy chicken with sweet-spicy sauce and peanuts! They are delicious!!! Also recommend the Bulgogi, the taste is nice and authentically korean

We've been here before. My children's favorite place...nice, small, cozy, the older lady is phenomenally kind. He's adorable despite his little mistakes. The food is so delicious that I would like to come here all the time! I recommend it to everyone who likes Korean cuisine!

Authentic Korean cuisine, you can really tell that the dishes are made with love and the recipes have been refined over generations. Here, next to the soju, you don't just get some mediocre food, but really good food. The staff are all very friendly and the VIP lounge was even made available at no additional cost because the rest of the seating was occupied. The corn dogs and the Korean Fried Chicken were the absolute highlights for me. For anyone who wants to have a relaxing evening with delicious, exceptionally good food and Korean drinks for a reasonable price, I recommend this shop 🤙🏻

Everything really excellent. We ate a corn dog that was really good. Afterwards a Ramen Shin soup, which tasted really good. There was also kimchi for free. The homemade iced tea is also recommended. You sit comfortably and quietly. The service is also friendly. Gladly again and absolutely recommended for anyone who wants very good but affordable food.

Little Korean bar and restaurant, you will find lots of locals and Koreans here. price is ok with good amount of food, I just don’t recommend their Bibimbap, it’s not bad, it’s just plain comparing to their other dishes, more importantly I had way better ones somewhere else.

The service is nice, the location and food looks very pretty but he food taste so bad. Tried it two times and was always very disappointed. Especially the Kimchi, Bulgogi and Kimchi jjiagae is so so bad and not authentic at all. The corndogs are quite good though.

The best thing I haven't had in a long time. In any case, I recommend the fresh salmon fillet with vegetables without rice including a vegetable side dish. Super tasty and endlessly great and healthy at the same time.

Small, cozy bar. With nice service and delicious food. The prices including food and drinks are between 30-40 euros, which is OK for Frankfurt standards. The wait staff are very nice, they speak a bit quietly but it's just a Korean mentality. Since the bar is small, I would reserve in advance. Me and a friend ordered 2 chicken dishes and ordered a corn dog. Yes, the corn dog isn't like the Americans', the soju bar version tries to combine sweet, salty and sour, which is completely normal in East Asian cuisine. I will definitely go there again and try other dishes.

Unfortunately, the veggie corn dog only has cheese. You simply can't do that in 2024 with 2000,000 meat alternatives. There is also sugar on the bottom - completely unnecessary! The taste is obviously okay, but you can't go wrong with carbohydrates and fat.

Wir haben Corndogs bestellt. Einmal Veggie und einmal mit Wurst. Nach der Bestellung vorne, wollten wir uns an einen Tisch setzen und wurden dann von der Kellnerin RAUSGEBETEN! Was soll das bitte für ein Service sein?! Wir haben dort bestellt, Geld bezahlt und wollten uns kurz mal hinsetzen und essen (zumal es draußen 1°C war!) Nach so einer unfreundlichen Behandlung würde ich am liebsten mein Geld zurückfordern… und gehen.. aber das sei laut Personal nicht mehr möglich. Die überteuerten Corndogs haben dennoch gut geschmeckt.

14.01.2024 Ich hatte bislang immer eine positive Erfahrung von der Sojubar. Aber heute war dort eine koreanische Kellnerin mit Brille die echt unangenehm war. Sie hatte uns die ganze zeit angeschaut als würden wir den Laden ausrauben wollen und sie wollte nicht das wir mit Karte bezahlen obwohl wir es vorher schon ausgemacht haben.

Rica, un poco picante en general; le quitó una estrella porque deberían avisar si tiene picante aunque sea mínimo y deberían tener opciones totalmente sin picante.

Hatte Bibimbap bestellt, war mega lecker und frisch.. es war aber leider sehr wenig Fleisch drin, hätte mir mehr gewünscht. Die Corndogs sind eine 11/10!

Nice little place in the center. My food was ready like in minute!? I thought I can make my own bulgogi and I will get my raw meat.Seems it was already made, but it was good. The eldery lady is really kind.

Hier haben wir mit der Familie einen Zwischenstop eingelegt um unseren Hunger zu stillen...das Essen war super lecker, wir hatten alle 4 verschiedene Gerichte und alle waren sehr zufrieden.

Guter lecker Korianischer Corndog! Preislich etwas teuer und ist auch leider nur mit einer halben Wurst gefüllt. Ich würde beim nächstenmal einen ohne Zusatz holen um einfach ein Vergleich ziehen zu können. Service ist super lieb und spricht sehr gut deutsch. Toilette sauber allgemein macht das Restaurant einen super Eindruck.

Very intimate and small Korean restaurant however there were also chinese employees. The food quality was great and prices were normal. The place is small so the best thing is to book in advance.

I ate the kimchi bokkeum which was delicious and definitely enough for me. Service was friendly and prices reasonable. The mandu was a bit too crispy for my likings. Although other reviews say the place is unfriendly towards foreigners, we didn't experience this at all.

Ich habe heute gegoogelt um für meine kids die den Wunsch hatten corn dogs zu essen, dieses Restaurant empfohlen bekommen. Wir sind dann 30km gefahren um dann herauszufinden das es keinen Platz gibt obwohl wir erst 30min nach Eröffnung dort waren, wie auch immer ich wollte nämlich a la carte essen und die Kids diese Corn dogs. Auf Grund dessen haben wir 3 x corn dogs zum mitnehmen bestellt die wir dann im Auto ausprobiert haben. Fazit: uns hat es nicht so gut geschmeckt weil es unter dem corn dog eine dicke Schicht Zucker war, dann war unheimlich viel Käse dazu hat man vergeblich an die fehlende Wurst gedacht. Dachte erst die haben es versehentlich vegetarisch gemacht aber ne es war so eine Mini Wurst von 5 cm die man erst am Ende des Stiels entdeckt hat. Man sollte bei der Wurst nicht sparen dafür eben weniger Käse und bitte keinen Zucker!

All the staff was super friendly and accommodating! The food was prepared pretty fast and stared amazing. Visually it was very pleasing as well. The drinks were amazing. All around a great experience.

Hot soup was the spiciest portion I‘ve had in Frankfurt. Tasty but beware. Bibimbap was tasty except for overcooked egg. Nice selection of drinks.

Waren zum ersten Mal da und es ist wirklich besser wenn man reserviert und jetzt weiß ich auch warum😊 es ist Mega lecker, die Kellner sind sehr freundlich und auf das essen muss man nicht lange warten.❤️musste an meine Tochter denken als wir uns hin gesetzt haben da lief gerade BTS als Musik. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und das mit den Kindern dann kann meine Tochter gleich mit singen🤣🎤

Wir waren zu viert dort Essen. Das Personal war schnell und super freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Die Limonaden und den Eistee kann man auch sehr empfehlen.

Unfassbar leckeres Essen. Wir hatten einige Gerichte bestellt und jedes war 1A! Die Bedienung war ebenfalls super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Kleines süßes koreanisches Restaurant in der Innenstadt. Die Bedienung ist super nett und zuvorkommend! Der Corn Dog hat gut geschmeckt und war sehr sättigend. Das Chicken war zwar scharf, jedoch trotzdem lecker. Dagegen haben die Kohlrabistücke gar nicht geschmeckt. Zusammenfassend war es ein schöner Besuch!
