Das Essen war lecker. Tkekbokki war ein bisschen zu wenig das war schade aber dafür war der Veggi Corndog das beste.

Das Essen ist fantastisch, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und man fühlt sich wie in Südkorea. Vielen Dank! Dieses Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich komme inzwischen schon seit längerer Zeit regelmäßig in die Soju Bar und kann ehrlich sagen: Es ist mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant! Jedes Mal freue ich mich darauf, wiederzukommen. Das Essen ist einfach unglaublich lecker. Das Korean Fried Chicken ist außen perfekt knusprig und innen unglaublich saftig und zart – mit Abstand eines der besten, das ich je gegessen habe. Auch die Cheese Corn Dogs sind einfach ein Traum: außen knusprig, innen schön saftig und mit perfekt geschmolzenem Käse. Die Beilagen sind immer frisch und das Kimchi ist geschmacklich einfach hervorragend – man merkt, dass hier auf Qualität geachtet wird. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich aber auch das Team. Alle sind unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und aufmerksam. Man wird jedes Mal mit einem Lächeln empfangen und fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Genau diese familiäre und warme Atmosphäre macht den Besuch jedes Mal zu etwas Besonderem. Man merkt, dass hier viel Liebe und Leidenschaft in das Restaurant gesteckt wird – sowohl beim Essen als auch im Umgang mit den Gästen. Für mich gibt es keinen besseren Ort, wenn ich Lust auf authentisches koreanisches Essen habe. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch und kann die Soju Bar jedem von Herzen empfehlen! PS: ich denke auf dem Bild kann man klar erkennen wie sehr es mir geschmeckt hat.

Die besten Corndogs aus Frankfurt 👍

Wir waren nur einen Tag in Frankfurt, kommen eigentlich aus der Nähe von Stuttgart und waren für eine Show in der Stadt. Davor haben wir uns bei der sojubar etwas to go geholt. Leider hat eine von uns ihr Handy dort vergessen und es erst ein paar Stunden später bemerkt. Als wir es beim Suchen angerufen haben, ist eine sehr nette Mitarbeiterin drangegangen. Sie meinte, sie habe schon die ganze Zeit darauf gewartet, dass sich jemand wegen des Handys meldet, und hatte es sogar extra aufgeladen, damit es nicht ausgeht. Sie ist dann sogar bis nach Ladenschluss geblieben, bis wir wieder da waren, um das Handy abzuholen. Trinkgeld für ihre unglaublich ehrliche und hilfsbereite Art wollte sie absolut nicht annehmen. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal, das war wirklich nicht selbstverständlich!

Enttäuschend. Meine Freunde und ich hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend gefreut und wurden schnell enttäuscht. Das Lokal ist sehr klein und wirkt daher beengt. Der Service war unterirdisch. Es dauerte fast zehn Minuten, bis wir bemerkt wurden, dann antwortete der Kellner nur mit einem stummen Grunzen und tat so, als wären wir nicht da. Das Essen war zwar nicht schlecht, frisch und warm, aber die Preise sind angesichts der Portionsgrößen viel zu hoch. Ich würde nicht wieder hingehen.

Wir sind eigentlich nur wegen der Corn Dogs vorbeigekommen – und was soll ich sagen: Die haben alle Erwartungen übertroffen! Ich habe schon einige Corn Dogs gegessen, aber dieser war mit Abstand einer der besten. Die Kombination aus der süßlich-knusprigen Panade, dem geschmolzenen Käse und dem Senf war einfach unglaublich lecker. Ich hatte die Variante mit Rindfleisch und war total begeistert. Auch die anderen Sorten, die in unserer Gruppe probiert wurden, kamen super an. Perfekt, wenn man schnell etwas auf die Hand möchte, ohne auf Geschmack zu verzichten. Für uns definitiv ein kleiner Geheimtipp – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Echt leckeres essen kimchi habe ich zum ersten mal gegessen. Das Restaurant werde ich bestimmt wieder besuchen. Die Bedienung hatte 2 mal was vergessen so das wir ihn 2 mal rufen mußten. Ansonsten nichts zu bemängeln.

Essen hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Leider kam aber nicht alles Essen gleichzeitig an. Es gibt auch nur eine kleine Toilette. Wir würden trotzdem wiederkommen!

Der Service war wirklich gut, die ältere Dame war sehr nett. Das Essen hat mir insgesamt gut geschmeckt, es war eine neue Erfahrung für mich.

Es hat mir gefallen! Ich war mit meiner koreanischen Freundin dort, und sie meinte, es sei gar nicht so anders als im Original. Also meiner Meinung nach ein richtig gutes, authentisches Restaurant. Wenn ihr Lust auf koreanisches Essen mit Soju habt, solltet ihr unbedingt mal vorbeischauen.

Super toller Service und leckeres Essen.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker. Das Personal ist super freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Die Preise sind zwar etwas höher, aber meiner Meinung nach auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt für die Qualität und den Service. Man kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen.

Leider war es bereits um 22:30 Uhr geschlossen, obwohl online bis 00:00 Uhr geöffnet sein sollte.

Dieser kleine aber feine Laden ist wirklich einer der Gründe warum wir immer wieder gerne die 160km nach Frankfurt hinter uns legen! Das Essen war bis jetzt immer super und der Service immer herzlich und zuvorkommend. Parken tuen wir meistens etwas weiter weg, da wir bis jetzt gefühlt immer einen kleinen Verdauungsspaziergang gebraucht haben und nicht ins Auto kugeln wollten. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es vor Ort oder um die Ecke aber wie ich finde auch genug. Da wir die Speisekarte immer noch nicht durch haben kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder! (P.s. Auf den corndogs war Zucker bisschen fragwürdig und das fleisch war Knorplig Leider nicht wie erwartet

die corndogs sind nicht zu übertreffen, wirklich sehr lecker die anderen speisen sind auch zu empfehlen, ich besuche den laden gerne! dazu ist die bedienung auch immer sehr freundlich ein kleiner gemütlicher laden mit angenehmer atmosphäre

Das Essen war gut. Die Corndogs waren auf jeden Fall größer als erwartet, für den Preis auf jeden Fall wert! Eine Freundin fand das Zimtzucker unter den Corndogs nicht so gut, aber das ist wohl Geschmackssache. Wir haben uns ganz viel geteilt und es war insgesamt ne schöne Atmosphäre. :) Die Tteokbokki waren sehr lecker!

Ich liebe das Essen dort, die Korean Corndogs sind meiner Meinung nach wirklich eine 10/10. Leider kommt es beim Service drauf an wer einen bedient. Zuletzt wurden wir von der älteren Bedienung (vllt die Besitzerin keine Ahnung) bedient und mein Freund und ich hatten beide jeweils 2 corndogs bestellt, mir wurde dann gesagt ich würde das nicht schaffen und sie würde mir nur einen bringen mein Freund würde aber 2 kriegen auch nachdem ich mehrfach gesagt habe dass ich zwei schaffe und gerne zwei hätte sagte sie mir nein sie würde mir nur einen bringen und falls ich den schaffe und noch einen wollen würde dann dürfte ich einen weiteren bestellen. Das war so unglaublich dreist und unfreundlich vor allem weil wir das zuvor noch nie hatten bei anderen Bedienungen vor Ort und ich jedes Mal aufgegessen habe. Ab jetzt holen wir nur noch zum mitnehmen, so eine unangenehme Situation möchte man nicht zweimal erleben.

Sojubar Korean Food in Frankfurt hat leider nicht überzeugt. Der Laden ist sehr klein und wenig einladend, was den Aufenthalt eher unangenehm macht. Das Essen war durchschnittlich und geschmacklich nichts Besonderes. Angesichts eines Rechnungsbetrags von rund 80 € erwartet man deutlich mehr Qualität – dafür bekommt man in Frankfurt problemlos besseres Essen. Insgesamt eine Enttäuschung, wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Die Soju-Cocktails schmeckten eher wie Saft, waren aber trotzdem richtig gut. Das Tteokbokki war etwas enttäuschend, da der Geschmack anders war als erwartet. Und die Reiskuchen waren etwas hart. Die Preise sind aber angemessen.

Das Sojubar bot großartiges Essen und eine tolle Atmosphäre mit einer riesigen Auswahl und sehr freundlichem Personal. Die individuell zubereiteten Soju-Getränke waren köstlich.

Das Brathähnchen war unglaublich knusprig, fast wie Kartoffelchips! Das Rindfleisch mit Glasnudeln war allerdings etwas zu salzig, was ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war. Der Ingwertee hat mir gut gefallen – er hatte einen Hauch Honig, was zeigte, dass sie sich bei ihren Gerichten wirklich Mühe geben. Der Besitzer spricht kein Englisch, daher war die Kommunikation etwas schwierig, aber er war sehr freundlich und hat sich große Mühe gegeben, mit uns zu sprechen. Die Toilette war außerdem sauber.

Teuer, aber lecker. Nettes Personal.

Hier gibt es wirklich richtig leckeres Bibimbab! Schmackhaft. Der Service ist gut und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Need to pay cash if below 20 eur. The bimbibap is delicious but would be better if had been in a hot stone pot. Three Kimchi is for free, nice companion to the rice. I went out to take cash and when I was back the dish was ready, thanks for the trust. Space is cozy, the chair is a bit too small.

The food was great, with beef and, of course, a corn dog 😂. The waitress explained everything in detail, and they serve Hip House beer if Korean beer isn't your thing.

Title: A culinary disappointment on a stick – Stay away from the "Corndog" What the hell was that? I was looking forward to a classic corndog – crispy on the outside, spicy on the inside, a hint of a carnival feeling. What I got was a farce on a skewer. 15 cm corndog – of which a measly 3 cm sausage. The rest? An endless lump of greasy dough that resembled raw cake batter more than crispy breading. And instead of crunchy seasoning – cheese. Just cheese. Who decided that a corndog should suddenly be a cheesy cylinder of dough with a sausage token? And then the absolute mockery: sugar. ON a corndog. Who the hell thought of covering this lump of dough with a layer of granulated sugar? A dish that doesn't know whether it wants to be dessert or a heart attack. A disaster in terms of taste, an insult in terms of texture, and an outrage in terms of price. If I want to eat cheesecake with sugar, I'll bake myself a crepe and put a candle on it. Conclusion: If you like corn dogs, you'll be disappointed here. If you've never had one, you'll never want one again after this disaster. I, for one, feel culinary cheated. Never again. Waiting time: about 15 minutes for a cheesecake with sugar.

SO good legit the best korean food i’ve ever had

We've tried many Korean restaurants in the Rhine-Main area, and Sojubar is one of our absolute favorites. The pork belly with kimchi and Chinese cabbage leaves, the pancakes, and the soups are particularly outstanding. We'll be back very soon to try the rest of the menu. Many thanks to the team and the wonderful waitress.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't what I had imagined. My friends loved it, but it didn't convince me. The room felt very small and a bit cramped, and the Coke was completely flat. It didn't taste bad, but it wasn't particularly good either. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly.

It wasn't the first and it won't be the last visit! Delicious! No matter what we've eaten so far, it's been really good.

Were there as a group, one of them didn't get any food. It was only after 15 minutes that our food was there and when we asked, they said that there was a mistake and that the food would be remade. After another 15 minutes we had all eaten and my brother didn't feel like waiting any longer. Corn dogs are ridiculous. There are 5 cm of sausage packed into a 15 cm corn dog, and all in all it's not particularly tasty. Not disgusting but just bland.

I had the tteokbokki with cheese and it was so delicious! My girlfriend had the bibimbap and that was also delicious! The shop is also small but very cozy, highly recommended 😄

You're not even allowed to sit for 2 minutes after eating, you're immediately chased away while you're still chewing. The food is good apart from the prices, but the atmosphere leaves something to be desired.

The food was everything that i wanted, the staff was super nice and the atmosphere was really comfortable. Oftentimes Korean food can be too sweet for me, but here it was just the right amount of sweetness to compliment the spicyness and savoryness of the dishes.

Had the budae jigae. It was perfectly fine, especially good mixed with rice. The kimchi was a bit bland however (probably watered down a bit for local tastes).

Unfortunately, the taste of the food is below average. The shop is small but colorful and beautifully decorated.

Good Korean food in a more modern setting. The food is very good - I have tried almost all the dishes and can recommend everything without reservation. I find the corn dog very interesting - anyone who eats there should try it. The service is always nice and attentive. Customizable soups and a good selection of Korean foods keep me coming back for a visit again and again.

This place is always where I drink a lot of soju and get drunk. The tteokbokki and soup-based side dishes are all basically delicious. This time I tried the fried pork (Je-yuk) for the first time, and it was so rich in flavor! Other comments; The stairs to the toilet are a bit dangerous so I worry when I'm drunk. And I wish the soju prices were a bit cheaper… Overall, it's super tasty and has a real Korean vibe that I love.

A wonderful Korean restaurant! The atmosphere was very pleasant and inviting. The food was simply delicious. Of particular note was the waitress, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the day even better. I highly recommend this restaurant! Come by and try the fantastic Korean cuisine — it's definitely worth it!

We called ahead to see if we could still come 1 hour before closing time. It was answered in the affirmative. Arrived 40 minutes before closing time and then sent us away because the kitchen was already closed because there was so little going on. You don't do that. Are pretty disappointed.

Unfortunately the food did not meet our expectations. The corn dog was covered with sugar on the bottom and didn't taste good. Also, it was half cheese instead of full sausage, which wasn't clear on the menu. The Korean Fried Chicken gave the impression that it was frozen food, as its taste and consistency were very reminiscent of industrially produced products. In addition, the presentation was not as shown on the menu: the chicken appeared to be glazed with sweet chili sauce, while in fact it was served dry and less visually appealing. Overall, the food unfortunately did not meet our expectations and was also not recommended in terms of price-performance ratio.

I rate this restaurant one star because of the service and the rude way we were treated. We wanted to eat on site, but after paying it quickly became clear that it was a question of choice of food whether you could eat inside or be sent outside. Despite empty tables and 2 hours until the next reservation, we were chased out of the store because we had “only” ordered corn dogs plus drinks for the service and therefore, according to the waitress, we were not guests. Disgraceful to treat a customer like that, after all we left our money there. Therefore never again.

Food was very authentic and the soju is a must. The place is small and cramp.

My girlfriend and I wanted to eat corn dogs there, but it was only available to take away, which was only mentioned after the payment process. We had to wait outside the door and in the cold we were given water that was already open without being resealed. The employees were very unfriendly to us Corndog itself was okay though

Since watching couple of Korean shows, I had an urge to try their cuisine and soju!! I have to say that atmosphere at the Sojubar is great, K-pop music and hospitable and friendly stuff make great experience for customers. This was first time that we tried Korean cuisine outside, usually we make meals ourselves but some things we cant or don’t know how to ☺️ Personally I enjoyed everything I tried! Soju is great drink as well, we came specifically to try it. Big recommendation! ❤️

A very centrally located store with a nice decoration. The owner and staff are really very friendly and the food came quickly and was very tasty! We were very happy with our visit and would love to come back when we are in Frankfurt again.

Worst korean food i ever Had. All the Tables Had at least 50% leftovers. Esp the Chicken was Horror. Weirdly soft inside and Outside and old tasting. The bulgogi meat was Not marinated so it tasted Like pure Beef mince. The Sauce was good though in which it was swimming. Rice needs to be ordered extra which is always a Bad sign (No korean owners probably) In the end we almost paid 60€. Would Not recommend and ever Go there again.

I visited this place without prior information. I usually don't write reviews. Personally, this was the worst Korean restaurant I've ever had while living in Germany for over 20 years. I ordered a total of 3 dishes. -The chicken gangjeong is soggy and tastes worse than the convenience store chicken gangjeong. -Is bulgogi sour? Strange food that looks like it's been stir-fried with seasoning, sour??? -Seafood and green onion pancakes are usually called Korean pancakes in foreign countries, but they actually add a little seafood to the pancake batter to make fluffy seafood pancakes????? What I remember is the sour taste that I don't know what it is. Fortunately, the cola was the best. The people serving you are kind. The food tastes so weird Isn’t this place run by a Korean? I thought about this. When I looked at the kitchen, I saw that the chef, an older man, was using a large, wide Chinese knife.

Small cute Korean restaurant in the city center. Even though it was busy and we hadn't reserved a table, the waitress was super nice and very friendly to us. Super tasty corn dogs and freshly prepared! You can also order the corn dogs to take away! The chicken was slightly spicy, but still super tasty! The Tteokbokki, I've wanted to try it for a while, I was just afraid of how spicy it was. I asked the waitress without being extra spicy and it was a beautiful experience, a really good dish, the addition of cheese on top is a must if you want to try the signature dish! For us it was a wonderful experience, we will definitely come back to try other typical dishes! 😉

Very good place, very easy to get to, the atmosphere is very nice, the food is very delicious and the people who served us too, in fact there is a lady who works there who is too sweet, she is very pretty and friendly, she made me feel like when my grandmother I was going to ask if her food was delicious, she also helped me with my plate to eat it correctly.
