I chose the restaurant for a business Christmas dinner. Everything was wonderful, from the good service to the quality of the food and drinks. It's worth a visit here. Specialize in poultry, especially chicken. They know their craft and you can taste it. Gladly again!

Wir haben für 5 Pers. reserviert. Im Lokal war mächtig was los, das Personal hatte richtig was zu tun. Trotz allem wurden wir freundlich, und herzlich empfangen. Kurze Zeit Später wurde die Getränke Bestellung aufgenommen. Mit der Speisekarte hatten wir uns Zeit gelassen. Das Personal reagiert gelassen und freundlich. Als jeder seine Essen ausgesucht hat wurde bestellt. Nach ca. 15-20 min ging es los die Speisen wurden serviert. Sehr schön angerichtet, wir bekamen alle gleichzeitig unser Essen. Die Portionen sind mehr als genug. Aber das Wichtigste ist es hat Super lecker geschmeckt.

The pork schnitzel was just so crispy and tender. And the wild potatoes They were also crispy and well seasoned. Overall very good, food arrived quickly and hot and the staff were very friendly.👍🏼👍🏼 The price is also very reasonable.

The food is good there but nothing special. I can recommend the chicken, except for the chicken gyros (meat is very dry). Based on my experience, I would describe the service as mediocre or less (probably depends on which service person you get). For me a unique experience.

I had the chicken burger. What can I say, it's nothing special. Unfortunately the patty was a pressed mix of molded meat. For the price I would have expected a good piece of fillet. Otherwise the ambience is nice and the service is friendly and on the ball. Food could be much better for the price.

Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Unser Platz hat uns heute nicht so gefallen. Wir waren im hinteren Raum am letzten Tisch im Eck am Fenster. Fühlten uns ziemlich eingeengt und die Luft war auch nicht so gut.

Everything was perfect for us here. Modern furnishings, very tasty food and lots of choice! Super nice waitresses who are very attentive and have fun at work. We were there during the week and the restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait long for anything. There is a public parking lot directly opposite and is quite cheap. The next time we are in Stuttgart again, we would like to come by again.

Prices are a bit expensive but the chicken soup is highly recommended

I recently went to Hendl & Gretl in Stuttgart and am absolutely thrilled! The garlic chicken was perfect – crispy on the outside, wonderfully juicy on the inside. My absolute highlight! The side dishes were fresh and perfectly balanced. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the warm and attentive service, which rounded off the evening perfectly. The cozy atmosphere invites you to linger and you can immediately tell that great attention to detail is being worked here. For me it's a real insider tip in Stuttgart - I'll definitely be back!

Extensive menu with many interesting dishes - as the restaurant name suggests: predominantly chicken and chicken meat. Beautiful outdoor area with decorative olive trees. We had a “hut schnitzel” and a “chicken cordon bleu” for €18.90. or €17.40. The food was beautifully prepared and also delicious. If you like chicken, this is the place for you. I was just missing some vegetables or salad.

Fantastic food and considering we don't eat pork but love a good schnitzel we LOVE this chicken concept. A wonderful and tasty variety of chicken schnitzel dishes. We always pass through Stuttgart in the summer and winter when travelling between UK and Austria just for this restaurant. Lovely friendly waiter too who was keen to speak English made ordering a lot easier.

I've been going there regularly since I was a child.

Obwohl es sich um eine sehr einfache Mahlzeit handelt, machen sie sie durch die Dressings, Alternativen und die Präsentation zu einem excelkent Gericht. Ich glaube, dass Sie wissen, was Sie tun, und dass Sie es gerne tun. Ich hatte auch das Glück, von einer Person mit Temperament und einem charmanten Lächeln bedient zu werden. Mir hat auch die Atmosphäre sehr gut gefallen, geeignet für Familien mit Kindern und für diejenigen unter uns, die nicht so kinderlieb sind. Ich bin mit dem Konzept, das sie erreicht haben, auf jeden Fall zufrieden.

We had the plain chicken breast schnitzel with parsley potatoes, a kids menu and Gretel's plate. The service was very quick, we were immediately seated with a high chair and the order was placed. Sometimes a bit too fast for my taste, but better that way than too lame. The food was well seasoned and really tasty. Only they were boiled potatoes instead of parsley potatoes - but still good. The kids menu was plentiful and our 2 year old son enjoyed it. In terms of price it was okay and within reason for what you got. The atmosphere is also great and you felt comfortable. Finding a parking space was a bit strenuous since the restaurant is in the middle of a residential area, but somehow we still found a spot. I can recommend the restaurant!

It was good, so individually it wasn't the best roast ever, but you shouldn't be so petty. Kaiserschmarrn was also ok, the rest was very, very tasty. They really make an effort and the service was great. Even special requests are gladly accepted. Therefore 5 stars are completely justified. Toilets were also clean. 😉

Order here often to take away. Always very tasty and if something doesn't fit, they address it straight away and give you a new one. We'd love to come back

On the day of the European Championship opening game we were at Hendl&Gretel. Went there without a reservation and had no problems getting a seat. The service was courteous and nice. I have nothing to complain about here. The restaurant was smartly decorated. The menu cards were also high quality. But unfortunately the prices of the dishes were correspondingly high. We didn't let that deter us and ordered different dishes. For me there was a menu consisting of half a chicken, as I wanted to try out the house specialty, and the timeless classic spaetzle with mushroom cream sauce. The chicken was tasty, relatively mildly seasoned and more or less tender. The spaetzle wasn't anything special and the sauce didn't really excite me either. Overall it was too expensive for the experience delivered. I was over 20 euros for this menu with drink.

Angenehme Atmosphäre und freundlicher Service. Bei einer großen Auswahl an Gerichten habe ich mich für das HAUSHEND'L Hauptgericht entschieden. Wunderschön gebratenes Fleisch, saftige, knusprige Haut, richtig gewürzt. Pommes etwas zu knusprig für meinen Geschmack, aber lecker, gemischter Salat ausgezeichnet. Alles in allem sehr gut, ich empfehle es. Guten Appetit.

Sehr freundliche Begrüßung unkomplizierter Reservierungs Check in sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung - gleich zwei Leute vom Staff. Essen gehen ist leider ein teurer Spaß geworden aber hier haben wir das Restaurant verlassen mit dem glücklichen Gefühl alles richtig gemacht zu haben und der Gastgeber auch das zu seinem obersten Gebot gemacht hat. Very nice shop, very pleasant service. I was a little disappointed only by the half-hand. It wasn't freshly grilled chicken as I had hoped, but like many grilled snacks, it was chicken that had been grilled quite a while ago and was kept warm. I was hoping things would be different here. And so everything was ok, but not really good. A pity!

NOT FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN! Comment was simply deleted! Very dubious. We were two families with children and came into the restaurant and were about to sit down until an older waiter rudely told us that the children should be quiet and if we didn't like that we could leave. That's how we were received, we couldn't believe we were being treated like that, so we actually got up and left. It's better to delete the children's menu from the menu as children are absolutely not welcome! Never again

I think it is one of the best meat chains in the city, very high quality meat, bread and even chips. The waiter was also super courteous!! Definitely coming back

The location of the restaurant is on a corner with outside seating, nice setup. The service was very good, the waitress indulged my sub-par German and even spoke some english to help me out. The food was very tasty and portion size is definitely on the bigger side. My wife and I decided that we were definitely coming back as they had a wide range of plates and selection. I would recommend this place everyday.

In my opinion there is no better restaurant than here. Formerly Wienerwald but the name change hasn't made anything different. Everything is still super tasty, fresh, taste-wise a 10/10, everything is perfect every time you visit, whether to take away or in the restaurant. And ALL employees/bosses are always very warm. Friendly and in a good mood. I hope it stays there forever 💖💖 I'm happy that I live 10 meters away

Wir waren an einem Dienstag während der Pfingstferien. Vor Ort war relativ wenig los. Die Bestellung ging somit schnell. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

I always took food with me, I've never eaten in a restaurant. There has never been anything to complain about. Good food, I like to go there....

Der reservierte Tisch war gut vorbereitet. Der bestellte Kinderhochstuhl stand bereit und die Buntstifte und die Malvorlage für die Kinder lagen auf dem Tisch. Die Bestellung wurde zügig aufgenommen. Besonders schön war, die Kids ihr Essen zuerst bekamen und somit beschäftigt waren. Das Essen war sehr lecker und alle waren zufrieden. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Restaurant, bei voller Belegung ist der Geräuschpegel zu hoch. Ansonsten nichts zu beanstanden. Preisniveau hoch

The slightly different restaurant...when the weather was great we were able to use the outdoor area. Very quiet location under trees and beautiful decorations (flowers and small tangerine trees). Friendly and competent service. Very good menu with a large selection. Top class and our cocktails were also a visual and taste highlight. Glad we found this interesting place.

Really cool location with a cool concept. This is about chicken. I think it's good to do something completely different. I ordered a mixed salad, that's what I call it now. With leaf lettuce, cucumber salad, carrot salad, egg and of course chicken and much more. You can choose from 3 different dressings. My favorite was yogurt dressing. The taste was really great. The perfect start and not too much of a starter for two. The main course for both was a wrap. Who can guess? With chicken, of course. 🙃 There were sweet potato fries as a side dish. So I have to say the amount is totally sufficient. And most importantly, really well done by Grschmack. Of course there are also a few other things like beef and pork, but chicken is always in the foreground, which I would say makes up 90% of the menu. I became aware of it through the Internet. I always like to try things that I don't yet know the concept of. I find that really exciting. So I don't want to talk about it anymore. I hope I was able to get your teeth into something 🤤 and you're interested in something new. Go ahead and try it out, I definitely recommend it in all areas. To the team, keep it up.👌👍🤝

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were escorted straight to our table with 4 adults and 2 children. The children immediately received 2 large coloring pictures with enough colored pencils. Very comfortable furniture and great atmosphere, the waitresses were all very friendly and attentive. So much for service and ambience. The food was excellent⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Starters and salads -Hend'l popcorn -BBQ wings -Potato salad (a must) main course -breaded chicken breast schnitzel with fries and mushroom cream sauce Dessert: -Kaiserschmarrn with plum roaster -Chocolate cakes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (liquid core) The children had a scoop of ice cream with whipped cream All dishes were very lovingly prepared.
