Really nice hotel with nice clean rooms, super service, lovely calm atmosphere. Nice restaurant that cooks some really good food, big breakfast buffet, everything in perfect order.

We were there for a weekend and we really enjoyed it. The room was large and everything was clean. The large double bed was very comfortable for us. The staff are very friendly. Especially our host in the restaurant in the evening. He was very friendly and cheerful. We felt welcome. The food is good and the portions are sufficient. The price-performance ratio is right here 👍. Particularly noteworthy is the breakfast buffet in the morning. Very rich, tasty, fresh and it is always refilled. The ladies who take care of it are very quick and efficient. Overall it was a very nice weekend and we would love to come back. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center. I have rarely seen such a beautiful city. A visit to Celle is definitely worth it.

This hotel has everything that is needed. Very clean and good food. Breakfast rich and everything that tastes good. Rooms are very spacious and very well furnished. Above standard! There is a price/performance ratio here. Always my pleasure.

Rooms are very clean. Modern facilities. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. The connection to public transport is great, the stop is almost in front of the door. With the room card you can take public transport to the old town for free. There are enough parking spaces at the hotel. I can recommend the hotel with the best of my knowledge.

Price-performance is great. This is what you get here: Really nice and courteous staff, from the greeting at check-in to the service in the restaurant. Very nice. For the standard of rooms offered, more money is charged elsewhere. Cleanliness, ambience, good condition and new condition are naturally present. The restaurant also impresses with good service at “normal” prices. The breakfast buffet seems to be a little narrower than usual in other hotels. However, everything that is important or meets the standard is there and can be added quickly. If you also consider that the breakfast buffet is already included in the room price of just under €100... then everything is great. So a clear recommendation.

My wife and I spent a night at Heidekönig to visit dear friends and do some cycling. After arriving in the morning (to park the car and set off on the bikes) they said succinctly "You're 5 hours early!" We were kindly allowed to park the car anyway. When we checked in in the evening, there was no welcome greeting or anything like that, the registration form was handed to us without a word. Well. Unfortunately the room had two separate beds, but it was clean and we could sleep well. In the restaurant it continued, no "Good evening" or anything like that, but "Find a seat". The summer pasta was quite good, although very heavy on tomatoes and olives. The chicken breast on the salad was almost raw. My request to cook these again was not answered with a word of apology or anything like that. I then got the salad back with the bread I had eaten. I very rarely post bad reviews. But we paid a lot of money - based on our feelings and income. All in all over EUR200.00. It should be a little more accommodating. There are so many little things like “Hello,” “Welcome,” etc. that are missing. We didn't feel welcome at all, just like a wandering purse to be plundered.

We have now stayed at the HEIDEKÖNIG for the third time. The hotel is about halfway on our journey to Rügen or Usedom or to DARß. We can highly recommend HEIDEKÖNIG. Everything is ok: the cleanliness of the rooms, very friendly staff, we feel comfortable and in good hands there. Highly recommended.

Very clean and cozy hotel, the kitchen offers delicious dinners and the breakfast buffet offers something for everyone to start the day well. Another plus point is that dogs are allowed.

There's no need for a lot of words here. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but great inside! Sufficient parking spaces at the house and inner courtyard. Another residential building in the inner courtyard. Arrival is easy, even at night, “keys” are provided. Greatly designed hallways and mega well-furnished rooms and bathrooms. Everything was super clean and tidy and super comfortable. So I have almost nothing to complain about. Thanks to the excellent darkening, our daytime sleep was like a normal night's sleep. Ok, the cleaning crew was a bit loud. Breakfast is available in the main building. Price-performance ratio fits. WiFi available, welcome drink available and a great bed. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Sunday because it was a day of rest, which was a shame.

I was there for one night as a business traveler. Everything was fine, clean and good. There was enough parking space and the food in the restaurant was good. Very happy to recommend. Price performance absolutely OK.

Surprisingly nice hotel. Nicely decorated room and shower room. The staff was hospitable. Half an hour walk from the center of Celle. The hotel is highly recommended.

We were only there for one night and were just passing through. We traveled by bike and were able to use a bike shed that also had battery charging options. The furnishings of the rooms and the reception area/restaurant are modern and everything was extremely clean. In the double bed there was a choice of both a soft and a hard mattress. The service received a point deduction because the process seemed very hectic and the friendliness suffered somewhat due to situation-related stress. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

We chose this hotel for a family weekend. When we booked over the phone, we were assured of a room on the ground floor for our parents. All the rooms we had were beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. After a great breakfast, we were able to take the bus that leaves opposite the hotel and use the hotel card to go into the city for free. In the evening we had a delicious meal in the hotel restaurant. The service was great, very courteous and attentive. If we were to plan another weekend in Celle, we would definitely book the Heidekönig again

We booked the hotel because we wanted to try out the many bike tours around Celle by bike. When we were choosing the hotel, we were impressed by the location and the price-performance ratio. The hotel offers a bicycle garage directly for cyclists where the batteries can also be charged. Very nice welcome and since we slept in the guest house we were more than positively surprised about the rooms. Super clean and beautifully furnished. Nice breakfast with everything that goes with it. We felt very comfortable and would come back immediately.

Ideal for transit. The location is ideal: easy to reach by car, but also public transport right on the doorstep with connections to the train station and the old town. A public transport ticket is included in the room price. And at night it is very quiet. Great: There are a total of 4 charging stations for electric cars. 😀👍 For small and large appetites, there is the La Brasserie restaurant with a wide selection to suit every taste. The service is very friendly and attentive! A charging cable was carried out of the room after us... 😀

The rooms are very nicely decorated and very clean. Food in the restaurant is too expensive. You have to pay extra for the side dishes Schnitzel is pressed meat (slabs) We didn't like it. We can't recommend it.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great bathroom. Breakfast sufficient, always topped up. Smoked salmon, small slices, was only back in the buffet when we had finished breakfast. We did the tour around Celle on our bikes. It was very nice. Bicycle garage with enough sockets is available, we would like to come back.

I was accommodated there for about 10 days on business. In different areas of the house, which is why I draw a mixed conclusion. The rooms ranged from nice, large, tidy, with the first signs of being a bit old-fashioned and in need of upgrading, to modern, completely renovated, friendly, very practically furnished, with smart TV, pleasantly furnished. Even in the less good room I had nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness and stability. You just noticed that there were already a few guests. But always practical and good. The service was very good, always clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Breakfast is always excellent and with enough space. Location well connected and yet I found it quiet. Conclusion: well accommodated and satisfied. Addendum. The service was also excellent during the next business trip and all the known points were confirmed in a positive sense.

Stopped there for one night on the way back from vacation. Beautiful and cozy room, modernly renovated, very well maintained. Not far from Celle's old town with the great half-timbered houses. Breakfast delicious and a large selection. Everyone will find their breakfast favorite. Certainly also a good starting point for bike tours in the area.

I was passing through Heidekönig. First I was given an “older” room. This room did not match the description on the website. I asked for another room and the friendly receptionist immediately gave me a “new” renovated room in the annex building. This room was great. Spacious, modern, very clean. The service staff was also very friendly. When I left the next day I had a very nice conversation with the owner himself.

Great hotel that impresses with great service and great cuisine. Especially in the asparagus season, I can only recommend asparagus ragout and asparagus with beef. The rooms are beautifully renovated in a nice urban style and very clean. The service is top from breakfast to a drink at the bar. Equipment significantly above standard: I stayed in the hotel for one night. Room was very well equipped: bed with underground and backlighting, creating a nice atmosphere. Electric blinds on the Velux roof window, stylish bathroom with stone sink and rainforest shower. I really liked all of this. I also ate something in the hotel's own restaurant. It tasted very good. I noticed that the waiters were very friendly and that was well received by the guests. I wasn't able to eat breakfast due to time constraints. But a nice packed lunch was prepared for me. What I noticed was that every employee mentioned how good it would be to create a review. I have now fulfilled this obligation 😊 All in all, recommended.

A very nice hotel. Nice service, good breakfast, great ambience. Unfortunately, the kitchen exhaust system is absolutely inadequate. We drank a glass of wine in the evening and afterwards our clothes smelled of kitchen odors, very unpleasant. It's a shame I would have liked to give it five stars.

I spent two nights at the Heidekönig and was very satisfied. The ambience made you feel comfortable. The warm colors in the room and the natural materials used in the bathroom absolutely suited my taste. I often find hotel rooms to be much too cold. It was different here. I thought the towels on the bed folded with attention to detail and the small welcome candy were a nice gesture. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were also very clean. The breakfast buffet was lavish and there is something for everyone. I would love to come back. Thank you!

Very nice rooms, newly renovated, lovingly decorated in color.....staff very nice. It was just a shame when we arrived the cook was sick, which can happen, but it would have been great if a replacement had been there. So we had to leave after a long, tiring day. Back into town to get something to eat.

Quiet, inexpensive hotel with nice service and good breakfast. Room (in the back building) was newly renovated with a free bottle of water, there is plenty of free parking and a free bus ticket for city transport in Celle. I would be happy to come back.

Liked · The room size is sufficient. The hotel is very quiet, but still within walking distance of the city center. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh. The gastronomy is highly recommended, dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients, very tasty and plentiful. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. We can also recommend the Eiscafe Venezia in the old town. The ice cream there is simply wonderful.

I often have work to do nearby and always enjoy coming here. A nice, family hotel with very friendly staff. The newly renovated rooms are really well done and have comfortable beds. The breakfast offers a nice selection and the restaurant offers very tasty and fresh dishes in the evening. The hotel is not on a major main street, so it is quite quiet. Even though I can unfortunately only stay for one night, it certainly won't be my last stay.
