Heidekönig Hotel Celle in Celle

So I was there in March and was very positively surprised. Rooms are clean and spacious. If something should happen, someone is immediately available to help. There are plenty of e-charging stations available and billing is accurate at a very fair price. When you come back from work you will be warmly welcomed and you can make yourself comfortable in the in-house restaurant and you will be surprised with very good cuisine. Everything fresh and very nicely prepared. So I can really recommend this hotel and the 3 stars of the hotel are definitely deserved.

Very nice staff and very pleasant rooms.

We stayed there for a weekend. My room was clean and I could sleep well in bed. But the most beautiful thing was the lounge and dining area. The breakfast was okay and the food in the evening (see picture) tasted very good. The gentleman who served us at reception and at dinner in the evening was also very charming and funny at the same time. He made our stay there a little more sweet.

We spent two nights as a group in the Hotel “Heidekönig”. We had booked three rooms. The rooms were clean and large. One room was modern and very attractively renovated. The other two rooms will definitely be spruced up too. In the evening we ate in the hotel's restaurant. Very tasty food in a very nice dining room. Plus a young, friendly service team. Special thanks to Ibrahim, whose relaxed, fun manner makes you feel very welcome.

Unfortunately, it is a very run-down accommodation, the rooms, which are wallpapered in very questionable colors, are very old, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls, the paint is peeling off the beds and the furnishings are very simple/cheap. The breakfast is really simple and not at all appealing. Price performance is not right here. It would have been okay for 30€ but not for 115€!!!! Unfortunately, you won't find the friendliness of the owner, he is very disrespectful and not at all conducive to business. Blames the customer for missing information before booking, even though there is an email with his answer. This behavior should be questioned when it comes to the quality of the accommodation. The food in the brasserie was ok, but the quality of the meat was poor. Be careful, there is no side dish with the schnitzel, this is a bit misleading. And drives up the price. Never this accommodation in Celle again!

A friend and I were at the Hotel Heidekönig for the second time and would book there again and again. We received a very friendly welcome and were given two comfortably furnished rooms at a good price. In the evening we ate in the restaurant. It was really very tasty. I booked a single room at the Heidekönig Hotel Celle for the weekend and was very satisfied. About 1.8 km from the train station, it's very quietly located on Bremer Straße. Friendly staff and a clean room with a TV, shower, and a liter bottle of mineral water. In the restaurant, we were treated to a delicious schnitzel dish on the day of our arrival, and the same goes for the extensive breakfast buffet! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the hotel on its way to a fourth star.

We were there in a small group for the weekend. After a few minor organizational issues, everyone was well accommodated and catered for both morning and evening. We were allowed to retreat to the large adjoining room for a tasting, and everything went perfectly. I highly recommend the hotel!

The room and bathroom were clean and adequately equipped. A few (expensive) snacks were available. To swim, I was very kindly explained that I could go to the house a little further down the street 😞, there were bathrobes and towels there (the description sounded to me like there was a pool in the house). There was no open restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, my room was very dark and the lighting was very sparse. It was enough to stay overnight. There is a small free parking lot behind the house.

Clean, nice hotel. The rooms are really very modern and pleasantly furnished, the breakfast was also great. Unfortunately, it was a very noisy hotel. In the evening there was a games evening on the ground floor, so there was no possibility of quiet in the hotel room. In addition, the cleaner came into the room at 8:00 in the morning, and from that moment on I was awake. Ok for an overnight stay, but once is enough.

My wife and I spent a night at Heidekönig to visit dear friends and do some cycling. After arriving in the morning (to park the car and set off on the bikes) they said succinctly "You're 5 hours early!" We were kindly allowed to park the car anyway. When we checked in in the evening, there was no welcome greeting or anything like that, the registration form was handed to us without a word. Well. Unfortunately the room had two separate beds, but it was clean and we were able to sleep well. In the restaurant it continued, no "Good evening" or anything like that, but "Find a seat". The summer pasta was quite good, although very tomato and olive heavy. The chicken breast on the salad was almost raw. My request to cook these again was not answered with a word of apology or anything like that. I then got the salad back with the bread I had eaten. All in all, the stay was good with a lot of room for improvement.

My mom and I are on the Way of St. James and this great hostel gave us a warm welcome. Gladly again! :) We would recommend the Heidekönig Hotel again and again!

Nice hotel! I was there for a week on business and was very satisfied. The rooms are very nicely decorated and above all clean. The breakfast was also very good. Salmon, various sausages and cheese available. You can actually still work on the rolls. They were often hard. I would actually rather have some from the bakery instead of baked rolls. Nevertheless, I would come again.

We went to the hotel restaurant for the Christmas buffet today. The buffet had a varied selection, with a variety of starters, main courses and a rich dessert. The food tasted like a dream. Great, everything is great for the second time. Bus ticket included in the price and the bus stop just around the corner. Celle has a beautiful old town. By bus it takes about 10/12 minutes.

We were there for a weekend and we really enjoyed it. The room was large and everything was clean. The large double bed was very comfortable for us. The staff are very friendly. Especially our host in the restaurant in the evening. He was very friendly and cheerful. We felt welcome. The food is good and the portions are sufficient. The price-performance ratio is right here 👍. Particularly noteworthy is the breakfast buffet in the morning. Very rich, tasty, fresh and it is always refilled. The ladies who take care of it are very quick and efficient. Overall it was a very nice weekend and we would love to come back. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center. I have rarely seen such a beautiful city. A visit to Celle is definitely worth it.

Rooms are very clean. Modern facilities. The staff is attentive, friendly and helpful. The connection to public transport is great, the stop is almost in front of the door. With the room card you can take public transport to the old town for free. There are enough parking spaces at the hotel. I can recommend the hotel with the best of my knowledge.

Price-performance is great. This is what you get here: Really nice and courteous staff, from the greeting at check-in to the service in the restaurant. Very nice. For the standard of rooms offered, more money is charged elsewhere. Cleanliness, ambience, good condition and new condition are naturally present. The restaurant also impresses with good service at “normal” prices. The breakfast buffet seems to be a little narrower than usual in other hotels. However, everything that is important or meets the standard is there and can be added quickly. If you also consider that the breakfast buffet is already included in the room price of just under €100... then everything is great. So a clear recommendation.

We have now stayed at the HEIDEKÖNIG for the third time. The hotel is about halfway on our journey to Rügen or Usedom or to DARß. We can highly recommend HEIDEKÖNIG. Everything is ok: the cleanliness of the rooms, very friendly staff, we feel comfortable and in good hands there. Highly recommended.

There's no need for a lot of words here. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but great inside! Sufficient parking spaces at the house and inner courtyard. Another residential building in the inner courtyard. Arrival is easy, even at night, “keys” are provided. Greatly designed hallways and mega well-furnished rooms and bathrooms. Everything was super clean and tidy and super comfortable. So I have almost nothing to complain about. Thanks to the excellent darkening, our daytime sleep was like a normal night's sleep. Ok, the cleaning crew was a bit loud. Breakfast is available in the main building. Price-performance ratio fits. WiFi available, welcome drink available and a great bed. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on Sunday because it was a day of rest, which was a shame.

We were only there for one night and were just passing through. We traveled by bike and were able to use a bike shed that also had battery charging options. The furnishings of the rooms and the reception area/restaurant are modern and everything was extremely clean. In the double bed there was a choice of both a soft and a hard mattress. The service received a point deduction because the process seemed very hectic and the friendliness suffered somewhat due to situation-related stress. The breakfast was delicious and varied.

We booked the hotel because we wanted to try out the many bike tours around Celle by bike. When we were choosing the hotel, we were impressed by the location and the price-performance ratio. The hotel offers a bicycle garage directly for cyclists where the batteries can also be charged. Ideal for transit. The location is ideal: easy to reach by car, but also public transport right on the doorstep with connections to the train station and the old town. A public transport ticket is included in the room price. And at night it is very quiet. We did the tour around Celle on our bikes. It was very nice. Bicycle garage with enough sockets is available, we would like to come back.

I was accommodated there for about 10 days on business. In different areas of the house, which is why I draw a mixed conclusion. The rooms ranged from nice, large, tidy, with the first signs of being a bit old-fashioned and in need of upgrading, to modern, completely renovated, friendly, very practically furnished, with smart TV, pleasantly furnished. Even in the less good room I had nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness and stability. You just noticed that there were already a few guests. But always practical and good. The service was very good, always clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and pleasant. Breakfast is always excellent and with enough space. Location well connected and yet I found it quiet. Conclusion: well accommodated and satisfied. Addendum. The service was also excellent during the next business trip and all the known points were confirmed in a positive sense.

Breakfast delicious and a large selection. Everyone will find their breakfast favorite. Certainly also a good starting point for bike tours in the area.

I was passing through Heidekönig. First I was given an “older” room. This room did not match the description on the website. I asked for another room and the friendly receptionist immediately gave me a “new” renovated room in the annex building. This room was great. Spacious, modern, very clean. The service staff was also very friendly. When I left the next day I had a very nice conversation with the owner himself.

Equipment significantly above standard: I stayed in the hotel for one night. Room was very well equipped: bed with underground and backlighting, creating a nice atmosphere. Electric blinds on the Velux roof window, stylish bathroom with stone sink and rainforest shower. I really liked all of this. I also ate something in the hotel's own restaurant. It tasted very good. I noticed that the waiters were very friendly and that was well received by the guests. I wasn't able to eat breakfast due to time constraints. But a nice packed lunch was prepared for me. What I noticed was that every employee mentioned how good it would be to create a review. I have now fulfilled this obligation 😊 All in all, recommended.
