Delicious. We ordered the chicken, which comes in a good portion of one of the most crispy chickens I've ever had. We also ordered the sausage, with a tasty mashed potatoes. Totally worth the price.

Super rude stuff here, the waitress told me to leave without serving my order nor cancelling and returning money. Thanks to you three, the big white girl waitress amd two asian waitresses, I had to fight right after a 13-hour long haul flight. Poor service. Waiters are not friendly. No hello, push to sit on high chair even if a lot of normal seated places are available. I have seen people leaving after being forced to change place while 50% of places available. Really disappointing.

Okay fastfood, chicken was tasty. salads are too fatty, drinks overpriced and there is no info in menu that some drinks are carbonated :(

The food was very good, very expensive, but it's an airport. I found a seat despite the crowds. The staff was very pushy and demanded tips.

Get rid of the robot! It’s somewhat strange to clean off plates in the dining area to allow a robot to drive stacked plates to the kitchen. It ruins the atmosphere. If I wanted to see the staff cleaning off plates I’d ask for a kitchen tour.

Customer service sucked! I'll pass the next time. The food was edible, but service was horrendous. Order the chicken. Nice portion size and typical price for airport. But just can't get pass the bad service, and the pushy 'give me a tip' attitude of staff.

I was very nervous being in Germany by myself for the first time and the cashier gave me a piece of a cookie to cheer me up. What a lovely guy. Also the chocolate chips muffins are delectable 😋🍪

The plates are very small. The service isn't the most amazing or helpful.

I'm really disappointed with this dining experience. I don't know if the staff here discriminate against Asians, but everyone else got a physical menu to order, while three tables of Asian customers—including mine—were only allowed to order by scanning a QR code. The service was terrible too—when delivering food, they wouldn't even make eye contact with Asian customers, but they'd smile at European diners. I can't believe this is still happening in 2025.

The waiter automatically added a 7% tip to the bill without asking us first. A 7% tip may be typical, but one should always confirm the size of it with the client. Food was decent, shame the waiter had to ruin the experience in the end.

1 start for the pushy tip strategy and the mediocre/bad service. Food was fine. Drink came when we had already eaten half of the meal. Service was unfriendly and cold throughout the whole meal. When set 0 tip, the guy didn't say anything, just turned around and left kind of angry. Not even asked if I wanted the receipt. Tip? What kind of tip do you want for such service?

Everything is great. We eat here whenever we can. For an airport, the food, service, and price are unbeatable.

I was at Hausmann's in Terminal 1 today, and unfortunately, my experience was anything but pleasant. The staff were very unfriendly to the guests—a tone I really can't understand at an international airport. You're assigned a seat and don't have a choice of seats, which in itself would be perfectly fine. The problem, however, is that guests sometimes have to wait a long time at the entrance before anyone even attends to them—even though the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The staff's overall approach to the guests is inappropriate. While the guests are consistently friendly, the staff seem rather curt, dismissive, and not at all helpful. And this was when it was still relatively quiet. I don't even want to imagine what it's like when it's really busy. It's a shame—the ambiance would actually make it a pleasant place for a short layover at the airport.

The sauerkraut and mustard is a must

Please remove forced tipping, this is wrong, pay your staff and don’t take advantage of foreigners who don’t know German tipping culture

I really like the place and the food is good. But every time I come here, I get anxious from the very strict and unfriendly waiter, especially one lady. Why doesn't she let people choose a seat when the place is more or less empty. It's understandable that you want to keep some regie on that. But the style in which seating happens, is really not welcoming at all. Overall, the atmosphere is really good. But it's spoiled by the unfriendly staff (and again: really not all, but the seating policy could be much more relaxed in any case).

Other tables were given priority, even though we had to wait significantly longer for our food. The first dish arrived cold. The second was unfortunately only lukewarm. However, it tasted good. Furthermore, the staff seemed more preoccupied with arguing and badmouthing each other. That's simply unacceptable in front of customers! All in all, not a great experience! I definitely won't be returning.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hausmann’s. The waitress gave me a rude look when I chose not to leave a tip and even asked again to make sure I didn’t want to. After bringing the last part of my order, she didn’t even respond to my “thank you,” clearly in protest. I decided not to tip because the sandwich was cold and mediocre, the service was unfriendly, and I had to wait quite a long time before anyone noticed I wanted to order or pay. Overall, not the kind of experience you’d expect at an international airport restaurant.

The food is definitely okay, but the service...it is absolutely terrible and unacceptable. The servers that were on october 27th between 8 and 9 am refused me seating because I ordered in "take-away" and not while seated. I had to re-order a second time, spending twice and they were very rude while asking so. Absolutely unacceptable especially when you pay...twice more than 7 euros for a coffee and a croissant.

food is really tasty, we ordered half of the chicken, veggie burger and salad and everything was really great! really recommend if you have 1,5 hours and want to have a tasty breakfast, lunch or dinner

The currywurst was OK, the service relatively fast but curt. The espresso was at best half an espresso and only lukewarm.

A restaurant at Frankfurt Airport... If you get a seat, it's a nice way to while away the time. The quality of the food is good, but the prices are typical for an airport... extremely high...

The ambiance, just an airport bistro. Nothing more, nothing less. A challenge for a solo traveler. I was able to grab my food in one place and then my drink across the other end of the cramped room. It's great to pick up the drink with a soup bowl and rolling suitcase. Not recommended...but who cares, it's just temporary walk-in customers anyway, who are very emphatically reminded to tip. Incidentally, for ZERO service! The white sausage was okay. It's not a gastronomic challenge either.

Lousy! Rude staff, you wait at the entrance and no one cares about you! When you get the bill, they don't even give you a receipt, you have to get it yourself from the machine! This restaurant is really rotten, avoid it! And €20 for half a fried chicken is a pain!!!

You practically have to get up and wave your hands for someone to do something, even though it's not very busy. I've rarely seen such unmotivated employees. Everyone tried not to make eye contact with guests, as it could turn into work. Terrible. When I asked them to quickly wipe the table (it was covered in mess from previous customers), they rolled their eyes. Five minutes later, they quickly wiped it, but it still wasn't clean. Find another restaurant at the airport.

I travel frequently for work, and every time I stop at this restaurant, I order dessert, but it never arrives. The coffee always arrives cold. Today, I politely asked for dessert twice, and no one served us. When we paid the bill, it was actually removed from the total. At that moment, the waitress I had asked for the dessert passed by, and I politely pointed out that once again, we had not been served dessert. She turned to her colleague at the cash register and said in a sharp tone, "Apple strudel hasn't arrived." We felt like we were being made fun of. I strongly recommend that the restaurant remove apple strudel from the menu because you obviously don't serve it or sell it.

What an awful airport dining experience (Terminal B). They produced food I wouldn’t feed to my dog. Distinct lack of choice and seating. Unless I missed a trick, for the volume of passengers its was vastly under catered.

While passing through Frankfurt by surprise, I happened to be in this restaurant in the terminal. It was a very pleasant surprise, a good sausage on mashed potatoes and fermented cabbage, delicious. Pleasant and dynamic service, nice German atmosphere. The price remains reasonable, especially in an airport context. Nice address and good value for money in an airport. It gave me energy after 25 hours of travel while waiting for my last plane.

For an airport restaurant Hausmanns is a very decent place to wait for your flight! The staff is welcoming. Service fast. Food is ok. You can charge your phone or use laptop to the grid. Nice space.

I had a lovely bacon and egg burger for breakfast here and a hot chocolate. Great quality food and drink. Good place to sit and chill whilst waiting for flight. Only downside was the waitress went from being very friendly to then suddenly very cold when I didn’t give a tip.

Really good schnitzel, crunchy fries and great beer. The downside is that it's a really busy place.

No gluten free options in the morning. There might be later but I was not told that but the waitress so I have to assume there is not, regardless of what is said in other reviews.

At the Frankfurkt Airport one of the best restaurant where to enjoy proper and decent meal (I really loved mine Bratwurst with nice gravy, cabbage and mashed) for fair price and where you can also just sit with some coffee or lemonade and chill a bit.

We had a very, very good coffee and cappuccino (professional coffee machine) and a good breakfast at Frankfurt Airport before our trip in August. And above all, we were served so professionally and very friendly by a Mr. Togo Früh. It was simply fantastic. We were very surprised that this still exists.👍👍👍

Demanding a tip via a card terminal at a takeaway restaurant is highly inappropriate. Stop this practice! At least the takeaway coffee was okay.

Pretty bad old airport nothing is good in those modern time. Unbelievably German.

The European staff are so lazy and pass on countless tasks to the international staffs. When I asked for a table, the female European staff said there were only high tables and went off to clear the another table. We waited and a international staff member came and kindly showed us to a table where we could order using a QR code. The white staff at this restaurant shows terrible service. And I don't particularly recommend this restaurant to Asian customers.

Unfortunately, I always lower my expectations at airports. Even using an "airport rating scale," I can't give this restaurant more than 3 stars. The food is truly disappointing, and the price – as befits an airport – is quite high. If you could get a coherent overall package for that price, it would be understandable. All in all, there isn't really much choice at the airport when transferring, so it was a bit of a filler for the time being.

Didn't taste what it cost, my husband and I regretted ordering food. But definitely a nice place for those who love a lot of oily/fatty food.

My go to when in transit at Frankfurt. Genuinely decent German food for a fair price. Sausages are good and curry sauce as well. Relaxed atmosphere with good service, probably the best food you can get at the airport.

The experience you can have here is TERRIBLE. Everything works via mobile phone and they force you, or rather, the only way to pay is by card. There is no other option. So we got up and left. Nobody forces me to pay the way they want, so be careful with your obligations. In fact, I could file a complaint. DO NOT EAT HERE.

If you want to eat normal food, I recommend stopping by and having a bite. Fried fish or meatballs are about 15-16euros, half a fried chicken is 20euros. Even for those who like to eat, it will definitely be enough. The food was received within 20-30mins from the time of ordering. I recommend it.

The guy with the curls who is on duty today, he should be fired. Unusually rude if you don't tip. It was me with the voucher wishing you a good day when you deliberately chose not to respond since you didn't get a tip for your poor service. Hope you see this review.

I was not expecting that for such a huge airport to exit and enter the plane on the tarmac. Very poor accommodations for handicap people.

Where do I begin ! We landed and had 3 hours to reconnect and land but ended up needing most of the time because not only were the direction to where we had to go difficult but when we got there it was chaos ! There was initially 2 lines that broke into 6 lines that came down to 2 ! People were upset saying their plane was boarding or they missed their flight and this was the passport check and security line to get to departure areas! OMG it was stressful for most people in line !

It's the Airport. This one is NOT special. Terribly expensive. NOT worth it. Food was blan, no substitutes allowed. No a-la-carte options. I wanted to upsize my Orange Juice or purchase a second glass. She, the Waitress, flatly said NO! and in the most rude way. Europe, in my opinion, is not geared towards non-Europeans or to anyone who does not speak the native language of the particular country one finds him or her self. NOTE: The Waitresses on duty were Spanish, Ethiopian, and Asian, with one obviously German Male Cook.
