The service was very unfriendly. We didn’t even have time to think about what to order before the service lady started questioning why we didn’t decide yet.

Dinnet was fast, but then it took time. Waitor asked me if I wanted dessert, i said 5 min and paid for it. 30 min later I had to leave with no dessert. In a airport i would expect more. Update: after this post they contacted me and I got the money for the dessert back. Good service:) I changed my rating

Uncomfortable chairs, arrogant and incompetent staff. Food doesn't taste particularly good. If you pay with the app and don't leave a tip because the service takes forever, your eyes will roll. It's sad that such a sad shed stands in such a busy place

The best of typical German dishes in one place! Everything is home-cooked and reminds us of our favorite dishes during a stopover, with very good beers, of course! Very friendly and fast team

Pedimos currywurst con patatas fritas y cerveza. Todo estaba muy bien, pero las porciones podían ser más generosas. El servicio es malo, un poco robótico. Carece de empatía. Los precios son promedio para un aeropuerto. Buena opción para probar la cocina alemana durante una escala. Reserva al menos una hora antes de tu vuelo ya que el servicio es un poco lento.

Give 1 star because I cannot give 0. High prices, less than average food, rude employees and they will try to charge you extra. Go somewhere else.

I had to give one star, but this store doesn't even deserve that. Unfriendliness and incompetence personified are very important here. I can't even say anything about food and drink because we didn't get that far. Despite several attempts, it was not possible to order because the waitress did not understand what was wanted and then reacted in a more than unfriendly manner. If I get bullied like that in a store when I'm placing my order, I won't come back again.

Very basic coffee, disappointing food, but decent service— I got a ciabatta sandwich and it was a bit small, but more importantly the salad on the sandwich was not even close to being fresh.

Llegué allí con unos 70 minutos hasta que tuve que ir para mi próximo vuelo. La cena y la bebida llegaron bastante rápido, y pedí postre también. El camarero me preguntó si lo quería durante la cena, lo dije en 5 minutos. Pero lo pagué. Después de eso, el camarero no estaba allí mucho, y tuve que ir después de 30 minutos después de que él preguntó .. Así que pagué por algo que no conseguí, y esperaría más en un restaurante del aeropuerto. Tampoco estaba lleno

Locale turistico con cibo buono. Il problema è il servizio. Chiediamo brezel e ci portano bread...ok non ci siamo capiti...problema nostro e dobbiamo pagarlo!! Una fetta di torta dopo 20 min non arriva ed abbiamo il volo, lo facciamo presente...ignorati...ci portano il dolce quando ci alziamo e veniamo anche ripresi!!! Al momento del conto (sempre la stessa cameriera) pretende il servizio (non obbligatorio) salutandoci in malo modo....ciaone!!!!!!!

As a German living in Texas and haven't been back for more than a year, I craved some good traditional German food. I was not disappointed! The food hit the right spot. The service is quick (but still can take some time if it's very busy) and profitable. Love the ambient.

Most impolite waiter I’ve seen in my life

Although the selection is small, the quality is very good. But what I would highlight most about Hausmann at Frankfurt Airport is the incredible attentiveness of Melania. It really has been many years since I felt treated so well. I even asked her if she was a franchisee because her treatment was beyond that of a regular employee who is usually bored and unwilling to work. Melania is pure sympathy, kindness and exquisite attention. If you stop by T1 A of Frankfurt Airport and want to have a drink, don't hesitate to go there.

One of the most disappointing lounges in world travel!!! Food choices are non-existent with 2 soups, old lettuce for salad and no toppings, a pasta dish that has been out for 2 days, a rice that looks disgusting and the 3rd some sort of chicken I think. Poor wifi, no announcements.. why even bother with a lounge?? And this is in Germany, the wirld capital of precision? Lufthansa Lounge... you need an upgrade!!!!!

There is a lot to see and buy. Delicious food left and right down the aisle. Clothes and electronics under one roof. Large parking area and a very large parking garage! I liked it!

Says it closes at 9:00pm It doesn’t. It closes at 8:45pm, and they are *VERY* rude about pointing this out, while practically hitting you to get out, all the while plenty of people still eating and still getting served. I don’t know what the food is like but if it’s even 1% as bad as the service, then it’s revolting and inedible.

The dataphone did not work and they only gave the option to pay in cash.

Menu not so clear if you don't speak german. Food not so bad but also not so special. Not vero cheap prices. All Is "so" here!

Friendly, well-trained staff and fast service. Gluten-free options for celiacs on request, good, quality food at reasonable prices. The online ordering system with the QR code is fast and encourages a peaceful break without too much waiting. Clean place. I recommend the roast chicken.

Vi bestilte det der skulle være nem og varm mad. Karrypølse med fritter. De to andre fik salat. Karrypølsen var kold. Det samme var fritterne. Salaten var overhældt med dressing. Uspiselig. Pølser og fritter røg ud igen og var også kolde anden gang. Vi ventede herefter på en øl til. Der ikke kom. Da vi skulle med et fly måtte vi afbestille.

Poor customer service. Woman ignores long line of airport guests to prepare trays of muffins. Then advises everyone it’s card only - no cash. This is an airport!!!

Really poor experience. Gulash soup was cold and really small - only several spoons. The main dish was less than average. The waiter was impolite. I do not recommend.

Food is pretty good for airport standards. Having said that… I didn’t read the other reviews before going, but to echo many others, DON’T use the QR code on the tables to order food. The waitresses scold you for using it. After not receiving my beer for 15 minutes, my waitress, Tiziana replied with “You ordered with the code, I don’t know what you got” and walked away. I normally wouldn’t say their name, but she is a terrible person. Doesn’t smile and made me scared to speak up and ask for things. If you hate your job that much, just quit. I’m sure I’ll get the same canned reply from management saying “we will talk to the team.” This issue has been going on for months. Either take the QR codes away or train your staff better. It’s outrageous to get yelled at by the staff for using the QR code. Ridiculous.

I travel always to Frankfurt and I used to love Hausmann's, but it's kinda sad being refused to be served at 20.39 because "it's closing" (when actually says 21:00) . Lot's of money can be generated in those 20 minutes with customers willing to have a quick beer.

The croissant and cinnamon roll were fresh and the service from Mrs. Melania was exceptional

Returned here several times and think it was good food every time. Both food, service and atmosphere are quite okay but absolutely nothing that stands out. Will certainly return again next time I am at this airport.

The quality of the food is average to good. The prices are logically slightly higher because we are at the airport. What should be highlighted is the friendly staff. Despite the stress, they were very accommodating and nice. You can also pay here with a Lufthansa voucher. The waiting time until you get a place here is sometimes a little longer.

After waiting 30min after ordering they found out we ordered and started making our food. We had to cancel order without refund to make our flight ⚠️

Vi var sliten etter en lang dag på farten, måtte spise litt før vi skulle nå neste fly. Maten var så som så, men vi måtte ha noe å spise. Da vi skulle betale, valgte vi kontanter, siden vi enda hadde igjen euro. Før vi fikk se regningen omtrent, begynte den kvinnelige servitøren og mase etter tips, hun ville ha penger. Vi ville se hva vi fikk tilbake og da hun kom med de pengene vi skulle ha tilbake, så ville vi gi henne myntene. Da ble hun så sint at hun gikk. Dette har vi aldri opplevd før. Man gir tips når man er fornøyd, men med den oppførselen, så ble det ikke noe. Vi ble så overrasket og gikk derfra. Vi kunne se at servitøren klaget til en annen kvinnelig servitør. Vi er ganske ofte på flyplassen i Frankfurt, men ikke et måltid på den spiseplassen flere ganger. Vi har navn på servitøren, men det holder vi for oss selv.

It was a short wait to get a place. Staff was quick to take and deliver order. I had the chicken and it was horribly dry and not tasty. I regretted not getting the schnitzel. Sad. Update - when asked how everything was, I told the waiter it was not good but I ate what I could because I have to fly. He actually removed it from my bill! Wow. Unexpected! So, I would come back and try something else again just due to the service!

Great place to grabs lunch before your flight to wherever. Being seated takes time but the food comes fast. Oh, the beer is great too.

Located in a corner of the airport, used during transit. I was satisfied with the Mussels steamed in white wine that I wanted. Stella Artois, not white wine. The mussels were delicious with a traditional taste, and the flavor of white wine and celery worked well.

I was so lucky. I was on the plane even though my flight was canceled. No one on the plane was angry or asked why. They quietly got off the plane and went to the flight behind the ticket counter. This is worth learning from the Chinese people. Good alternative at the airport if you don't prefer bread rolls or a ToGo restaurant. The staff very nice and accommodating. The tables are very narrow, but the food was very tasty and if you have time before your flight, it's definitely a better alternative than sitting at the gate.

I can agree with one of the previous reviews. The atmosphere is good, the staff friendly and the food came quickly. The beer was really good (a craft beer from Hamburg)! Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to the food (burgers). Apparently the cattle were killed here a second time. The burger patty was extremely fried and dry. The bun seemed more dried out than crispy and the sauce was also saved. Overall the fries were acceptable. All in all, the price/performance wasn't right for me. I would come back, but then only for a beer.

Honestly, the food was so good, but 3/5 people got their food beforehand and the others had to wait 20 minutes for the burger. The burgers were already ready but 50 employees walk past and can't even deliver the burger quickly. If you look where they go, the way they go up and down 10 times is complete nonsense. Would have deserved more stars but the service was simply terrible😡

There are free seats in restaurant, the queue is long, but they don’t permit come inside to take a seat. Just huge time for waiting. Really cannot understand such kind of service.

As you can see I visit this place often while traveling. So here is another update. Hamburger beef dry as wooden. Had to wash it down with beer. Nice service, but I prefer nice food too.

I stayed at the bar. My go to place when I have a longer layover in Frankfurt. Nice beer and the breakfast burger is good. Had a Franzbrötchen (cinnamon roll)and black coffee. If you want a really good Franzbrötchen, go to Hamburg

Average airport restaurant with happy music from the recent past and German food.

Service could be improved. We were struggling to find a table when the restaurant was 60% occupied. At the first available table, the seats were full of white dog hair and crumbles. When trying to take a seat at the second available table, the waitress approaches us and explains in an unfriendly way that we're not allowed to seat at table for 4 people. There was no intention to show us an appropriate table. We finally find a table for two, but it's so uncomfortable because all tables are so close to each other. This makes it hard to move without disturbing other people, especially when you have luggage. Air conditioning was not working properly and it was very hot. All of this made the experience unpleasant, but we were hungry and decided to stay. Food is 6 out of 10. We had currywurst and it was not mentioned on the menu that it was going to be THAT spicy.

It was easy to familiarize yourself with the menu and make a request, even though the place was super crowded. I ordered a dish and it was enough to share with my husband (2 medium meatballs, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and grilled onion). Very good and with a price compatible with the service, which was fast.
