Hausmann's Frankfurt Airport in Frankfurt am Main

Comer en los aeropuertos es a menudo un poco de "compra de socorro", pero sentí que Hausmann era un lugar decente. Así que es un poco limitado para la elección (platos clásicos alemanes) y un poco caro ... pero es un aeropuerto, así que no espera barato y la calidad es buena con un servicio amable. Buenas cervezas de una cervecería en Hamburgo dieron en el lugar sin duda. Schnitzel un poco en el tamaño pequeño . . mitad pollo por otro lado era jugoso y sabroso y un montón de comer. ¡TT regresaría y tal vez tendría curry la próxima vez!

I had a beer at the bar with an order of french fries. Good tap beer, good service. The food looks good; I was not hungry.

Had a burger and beer, good food.. service could be a bit more friendly but I understand it’s a hectic job. Will come again for the food!

Bockwurst and coffee very good! was on March 12th. There at 8 a.m. but this service (Vietnam, Thailand or somewhere else) is a disgrace. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly. If she doesn't want to work with guests, she should do something else. just an impudence

This review is in the context of airport food, and Hausmann's is a good place to spend an hour or so if the lounges are packed, as they always are when I travel... The service pace is relaxed, so I wouldn't go here for a last minute bite, but with time to kill it's a nice place to be, with good views over airside and nobody rushing you to leave. The food is freshly cooked and service perfunctory but efficient.

After 8:30 pm nobody serves coffee but Hausmann’s kiosk. I came here after trying 5 other places. The lady, didn’t get her name, maybe Melania was kind and attentive and keeps one last portion of coffee machine active. I asked her if she was the owner of the shop :) but not. Coffee (coffee crema 3.9€) is served in takeaway over there and not ceramic. Coffee is okay for my taste buds. Thank you 🙏🏻

It’s a huge airport, but there’s nothing to do there while you’re waiting. In 3 zones we found only one place where a child could play; there were almost no shops.

Very bad service. The boys, the strong boy with the wide nose, is not professional. First they bring you the food and then the drink. They work without enthusiasm. Plus they ask you for a tip, which you don't want to give them. You ask for the invoice and they don't bring it to you. Very expensive, don't go.

Very disappointing overall! The food came to the table cold and the mayonnaise that was served in a pot with the fries had already been there at various tables if one were to judge by its appearance. The service, like the food, was pretty lackluster.

We had to wait between two flights and ate at Hausmanns in the transit area Gate A at FRA. We had Wiener Schnitzel and half a chicken. Service was very polite and quick despite the crowds. The food was not star cuisine but solid home cooking 😉 The price is on the higher side, but this is more due to the location and lack of alternatives.

The food is not bad, but nothing special either. At airport prices.

Very loud, but difficult to get something quiet at the airport. Food bad. Had baked potato with herb quark. Potato was cold. The second time I got one that was hot, but hard with too little curd. Lettuce partly brown. Not good in taste either. Hardly seasoned. My husband had veal schnitzel with fries and a small salad. The fries were limp and had probably been in the deep fryer twice and were only lukewarm. The veal schnitzel was good. Overall too expensive and unfortunately not good quality. Staff friendly. However, my husband's plate was pulled away even though I was still eating. Maybe they don't have enough plates? As a drink we had a small passion fruit spritzer and a large beer. Price: 50.10 euros

Tuvimos una parada en Frankfurt de camino a casa de nuestro viaje a Munich. Estábamos buscando cenar y decidimos comer en casa de Hausmann. Comí la sopa de patatas para empezar, seguida del currywurst vegano y el strudel de manzana de postre. Mi esposa tenía una hamburguesa y de postre tenía el pastel de chocolate. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida y pude pedir un par de cervezas alemanas, que siempre es una buena cosa. Como ventaja había un robot funky para recoger los platos. Nos volvería a visitar.

Volevo mettere 0 ma purtroppo non mi dava l’opzione. Personale maleducato e cibo scadente. Avevo chiesto una coca zero ma non mi era stato specificato che era alla spina e mi arrivava una bevanda sfiatata zuccherosa. Dopo aver chiesto spiegazioni alla cameriera, mi risponde diciendo che non aveva voglio di discutere. PESSIMO!!!

Nobody was very helpful or kind when spending an overnight for a layover. A security guard asked me to move (not even in a longe area) when it’s obvious I had to wait. The restaurants closed early and were very far from boarding areas. I ended up getting 2 cold items and a water for $30.

Being a restaurant in airport, I didn't expect much. But I was pleasently surprised by the overall food quality. We've had duroc-wurst, fish&chips and some soup. Fish had fine crisp, and sausage was great (beef ones were a bit too salty for my taste). Certainly a decent place to dine while waiting for your plane! I also want to thank lovely waitress who helped to accomodate 4 people to a big table.

The bread on the sandwich was probably from the day before yesterday. Sauce would have been good too.

My most expensive currywurst to date. OK, the price is due to the location: Frankfurt Airport. What I liked about the restaurant is the so-called “Fast Lane” that they offer there. You scan a QR code at the table, order and pay (!) online in one step. The food is actually served directly to the table relatively quickly. You can set the amount of the tip when you pay. Consequently, only card payment is possible at the tables provided for this purpose. I would like to have the concept in other restaurants too. To get back to the currywurst: There's nothing wrong with the taste. However, it could have been served a little hotter. I assume the sausages are kept under a warming lamp. But otherwise everything is ok.

La peor hamburguesa de la historia. No podía comerlo por lo seco que estaba. Y no es difícil hacer una buena hamburguesa. Solo usa una buena carne y respeta a tus invitados. Así, pagó 18 € por una porción de patatas fritas

Dinnet was fast, but then it took time. Waitor asked me if I wanted dessert, i said 5 min and paid for it. 30 min later I had to leave with no dessert. In a airport i would expect more. Update: after this post they contacted me and I got the money for the dessert back. Good service:) I changed my rating

The best of typical German dishes in one place! Everything is home-cooked and reminds us of our favorite dishes during a stopover, with very good beers, of course! Very friendly and fast team

Uncomfortable chairs, arrogant and incompetent staff. Food doesn't taste particularly good. If you pay with the app and don't leave a tip because the service takes forever, your eyes will roll. It's sad that such a sad shed stands in such a busy place

Super fast, good quality. It’s an airport, so you’re not going to get a bargain, but it ‘didn’t dissapoint’ (which I have no idea how to say in German).

Pedimos currywurst con patatas fritas y cerveza. Todo estaba muy bien, pero las porciones podían ser más generosas. El servicio es malo, un poco robótico. Carece de empatía. Los precios son promedio para un aeropuerto. Buena opción para probar la cocina alemana durante una escala. Reserva al menos una hora antes de tu vuelo ya que el servicio es un poco lento.

Give 1 star because I cannot give 0. High prices, less than average food, rude employees and they will try to charge you extra. Go somewhere else.

I had to give one star, but this store doesn't even deserve that. Unfriendliness and incompetence personified are very important here. I can't even say anything about food and drink because we didn't get that far. Despite several attempts, it was not possible to order because the waitress did not understand what was wanted and then reacted in a more than unfriendly manner. If I get bullied like that in a store when I'm placing my order, I won't come back again.

Very basic coffee, disappointing food, but decent service— I got a ciabatta sandwich and it was a bit small, but more importantly the salad on the sandwich was not even close to being fresh.

Llegué allí con unos 70 minutos hasta que tuve que ir para mi próximo vuelo. La cena y la bebida llegaron bastante rápido, y pedí postre también. El camarero me preguntó si lo quería durante la cena, lo dije en 5 minutos. Pero lo pagué. Después de eso, el camarero no estaba allí mucho, y tuve que ir después de 30 minutos después de que él preguntó .. Así que pagué por algo que no conseguí, y esperaría más en un restaurante del aeropuerto. Tampoco estaba lleno

Locale turistico con cibo buono. Il problema è il servizio. Chiediamo brezel e ci portano bread...ok non ci siamo capiti...problema nostro e dobbiamo pagarlo!! Una fetta di torta dopo 20 min non arriva ed abbiamo il volo, lo facciamo presente...ignorati...ci portano il dolce quando ci alziamo e veniamo anche ripresi!!! Al momento del conto (sempre la stessa cameriera) pretende il servizio (non obbligatorio) salutandoci in malo modo....ciaone!!!!!!!

As a German living in Texas and haven't been back for more than a year, I craved some good traditional German food. I was not disappointed! The food hit the right spot. The service is quick (but still can take some time if it's very busy) and profitable. Love the ambient.

Most impolite waiter I’ve seen in my life

Although the selection is small, the quality is very good. But what I would highlight most about Hausmann at Frankfurt Airport is the incredible attentiveness of Melania. It really has been many years since I felt treated so well. I even asked her if she was a franchisee because her treatment was beyond that of a regular employee who is usually bored and unwilling to work. Melania is pure sympathy, kindness and exquisite attention. If you stop by T1 A of Frankfurt Airport and want to have a drink, don't hesitate to go there.

There is a lot to see and buy. Delicious food left and right down the aisle. Clothes and electronics under one roof. Large parking area and a very large parking garage! I liked it!

One of the most disappointing lounges in world travel!!! Food choices are non-existent with 2 soups, old lettuce for salad and no toppings, a pasta dish that has been out for 2 days, a rice that looks disgusting and the 3rd some sort of chicken I think. Poor wifi, no announcements.. why even bother with a lounge?? And this is in Germany, the wirld capital of precision? Lufthansa Lounge... you need an upgrade!!!!!

Excellent service! Everybody was really kind, the food came fast and it was delicious. Ideal for a short layover! They also give you a chocolate as a gift.

Says it closes at 9:00pm It doesn’t. It closes at 8:45pm, and they are *VERY* rude about pointing this out, while practically hitting you to get out, all the while plenty of people still eating and still getting served. I don’t know what the food is like but if it’s even 1% as bad as the service, then it’s revolting and inedible.

Menu not so clear if you don't speak german. Food not so bad but also not so special. Not vero cheap prices. All Is "so" here!

Friendly, well-trained staff and fast service. Gluten-free options for celiacs on request, good, quality food at reasonable prices. The online ordering system with the QR code is fast and encourages a peaceful break without too much waiting. Clean place. I recommend the roast chicken.

Vi bestilte det der skulle være nem og varm mad. Karrypølse med fritter. De to andre fik salat. Karrypølsen var kold. Det samme var fritterne. Salaten var overhældt med dressing. Uspiselig. Pølser og fritter røg ud igen og var også kolde anden gang. Vi ventede herefter på en øl til. Der ikke kom. Da vi skulle med et fly måtte vi afbestille.

Really poor experience. Gulash soup was cold and really small - only several spoons. The main dish was less than average. The waiter was impolite. I do not recommend.

Poor customer service. Woman ignores long line of airport guests to prepare trays of muffins. Then advises everyone it’s card only - no cash. This is an airport!!!

Food is pretty good for airport standards. Having said that… I didn’t read the other reviews before going, but to echo many others, DON’T use the QR code on the tables to order food. The waitresses scold you for using it. After not receiving my beer for 15 minutes, my waitress, Tiziana replied with “You ordered with the code, I don’t know what you got” and walked away. I normally wouldn’t say their name, but she is a terrible person. Doesn’t smile and made me scared to speak up and ask for things. If you hate your job that much, just quit. I’m sure I’ll get the same canned reply from management saying “we will talk to the team.” This issue has been going on for months. Either take the QR codes away or train your staff better. It’s outrageous to get yelled at by the staff for using the QR code. Ridiculous.

I travel always to Frankfurt and I used to love Hausmann's, but it's kinda sad being refused to be served at 20.39 because "it's closing" (when actually says 21:00) . Lot's of money can be generated in those 20 minutes with customers willing to have a quick beer.

Returned here several times and think it was good food every time. Both food, service and atmosphere are quite okay but absolutely nothing that stands out. Will certainly return again next time I am at this airport.

Airport restaurant food. Overpriced but coming out quick. Had the currywurst. One currywurst with chips for 15 eur. Tastes fine but nothing outstanding. Probably going to grab a sandwich instead next time layover at FRA.
