The waitress (the landlord) was the epitome of unfriendliness. If I don't enjoy the place, I don't have to take it out on the customers. I was born in Bornheim and have spent 20 years of my life here, and I can't remember ever encountering such a rude oaf. What a shame about such a great place.

The food is very tasty and I like that you get soup in advance, which is included in the price. The lunch menu changes regularly and is therefore very varied. Unfortunately, the big minus is the service. In general, the staff is rather unfriendly and it often takes longer to be served. So you should bring plenty of time.

I ordered a lahmacun with doner meat. The lahmacun was full to the brim and tasted very good. The meat was tender, the salad was crunchy and the garlic sauce tasted slightly fruity, which was really special. Ordering didn't take long & the owner was friendly. Recommendation goes out!

The employee behaves towards guests in a manner that I consider completely inappropriate for an upscale cafe. On several occasions, she approached male guests openly and in a clearly flirtatious, sometimes suggestive manner, directly in front of their partners or other guests present. In my opinion, this behavior clearly crosses the line into respectful, professional customer service. Despite my repeated requests to please stop this, the employee shows no insight or change in her behavior. For my wife and me, this type of communication is simply inappropriate and unpleasant. It seems as if her own need for attention is more important to her than a respectful tone.
