The food is always delicious and plentiful. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is always busy, but you still feel at home.

We ate here today. The starter was incredibly delicious, and the main course was also very good. The service was prompt and very friendly. The price/performance ratio was definitely justified. We'd be happy to go back.

A great atmosphere and excellent Greek cuisine. The wines are delicious. Only the beef fillet steaks are cut incorrectly. The beef fillet: tall and round, not flat and large and drowning in sauce. Otherwise, excellent.

We didn't reserve a table in advance on a Thursday during the school holidays. The waiter, a somewhat chubby, bald man, was very unfriendly to us right from the start and really annoyed, even though his shift had just started. His comment that we couldn't sit/eat outside because all the tables (about 30 people) were reserved was completely incomprehensible. Since we wanted to stay because of the good food, we decided to sit inside... The waiter was still annoyed and didn't show his better side... We considered leaving, but stayed anyway... The situation was saved by another waiter who was very friendly and simply nice to us and brought us a couple of shots as consolation... We didn't tip for such a condition, even though the other employees can't be blamed for the behavior of these waiters... We're considering whether to go back and eat there...

Unfortunately, the last visit was very bad. The waiter accidentally spilled drinks. Things like that can always happen, of course, but there was no replacement drink. Plus, it seems to be getting more and more expensive.

Disappointing! We invited a friend there for dinner for her birthday. We were served by at least three different waiters :( - The warm appetizer platter was simply forgotten. - The fries were saltless. - The jacket potatoes were bland. - We ordered crepes without cream, but they came with cream / the crepes tasted like they had been baked that morning (chewy). - The wine spritzer tasted more like water (but they brought it again). - We always had to wait patiently until we could order something. - Plates were cleared away without a word. - We agreed not to leave a tip - but were punished with silence: NO (!) thank you/have a nice evening/goodbye !!!!!!! The bill was ~€125

Absolutely unacceptable service and rude treatment of guests. We came to this restaurant to simply pass the 30 minutes before going bowling – it was raining heavily and cold outside. There were eight of us, and we politely sat down at a table and ordered coffee. No one was loud or disruptive. A few minutes later, a man (presumably the owner) came to our table and asked if we would like to order something to eat. I replied calmly and politely: – No, thank you. We'll just have a coffee and then leave; we only have about 30 minutes. After these words, his face immediately changed: He rolled his eyes demonstratively, clicked his tongue, and openly expressed his dissatisfaction. I asked calmly: – Excuse me, is there a problem with this? He completely ignored me. I repeated the question – again, no response. The third time, I asked more forcefully. He then snapped irritably: – By the way, we're a restaurant, not a café! His tone was extremely rude and condescending – our entire group was shocked. I calmly suggested: – Then maybe we could cancel the order? He hissed through his teeth: – Your order is already being prepared. I asked politely and matter-of-factly: – And where does it say that? It doesn't say anywhere at the entrance that you can only sit here with a food order and can't just have a coffee and leave after 30 minutes. He then became even angrier, turned red, and mumbled something incomprehensible under his breath – still in an extremely unfriendly tone. At that point, at most 30% of the tables in the restaurant were occupied. We didn't disturb anyone and didn't demand anything unreasonable. In the end, we paid almost €40 for 8 cups of coffee and spent 30 minutes in an absolutely unpleasant, hostile atmosphere. That's not how you treat guests. The owner has obviously forgotten what it means to work in the service industry. I will definitely never come back and cannot recommend the store to anyone.

The wait for the food was over 45 minutes, even though there were hardly any customers. And when the food finally arrived – an absolute disaster. The meat was tough, the side dishes tasted like they'd left them yesterday, and the whole thing was lukewarm to cold. I've rarely eaten anything so tasteless. The worst part: I got stomach problems afterward – which says a lot about the hygiene in the kitchen. Value for money? A complete joke. Charging for this is bordering on fraud. How this place is even still open is a mystery to me. Conclusion: Save yourself time, money, and hassle. I would rather not eat anything than ever come here again.

I recently visited your restaurant with a friend. We ordered coffee and waited for another friend to join us for dinner. Unfortunately, our experience wasn't entirely pleasant. The server came to our table approximately every 15 minutes and repeatedly asked if we had decided on our order. We politely explained several times that we would wait for our friend and then order. However, we felt that our situation was neither understood nor respected. We found the repeated requests to be unreasonably intrusive and rude. When our friend finally arrived, we decided to eat elsewhere, as the atmosphere was unfortunately not conducive to a relaxed evening. We hope that next time, guests can enjoy the atmosphere in peace without feeling pressured. This could make a visit to your restaurant a more pleasant experience.

It's a very nice location. Food very good, lots of it and at moderate prices. The staff polite and accommodating. Great atmosphere on a former industrial site, which was a weaving mill 100 years ago. We can only recommend this location and we will come back.

My wife and I were in this busy Greek restaurant this evening. After a lot of hearsay, we had to get our own opinion of this great restaurant. We were greeted very friendly and taken to our reserved seat (which I can only recommend because otherwise it would be difficult to get a seat). We ordered drinks and in no time they were there. When it comes to food, all I can say is a very well-intentioned amount. In terms of taste, it's a 12 out of 10. Personally, I missed the tzatziki, but that's complaining at a high level. One small thing, however, is that due to the very high ceilings and the many guests, the noise level is very loud. But there is always something. Greek restaurant in Hagen, quite big and nice decorated. Service was very friendly. We found the prices a little bit high but it is also true that the portions are very big. Quality of the food, especially the gyros was excellent. The only negative point is that I didn’t notice the gyros plate I ordered didn’t include Zasiki. I just assume gyros always comes with it! So had to order it separated, which was extra 5,70€. So ended up paying 25€ for gyros-souvlaki plate, little bit expensive compared to other Green restaurants. Anyway, I would come back.

OK - it's full, sometimes loud, but that's just how it is! It gets quiet in the nursing home soon enough! It's just Kipos, the number 1 in Hagen! Always a good atmosphere, a perfect team, and a great meal on the plate! Why it's always full and a bit loud... just think about it!

The restaurant is nicely decorated and makes a cozy impression. Unfortunately the food is not good. There is almost nothing for vegetarians. The starters were a joke. You could have killed your grandmother with the bread, the cheese was cold and had hardly any taste. The other dishes weren't good either. The Metaxa sauce only tasted like cream. And the high price there simply cannot be justified.

Food and service great. Prices okay. Unfortunately, the “hall” gives you the feeling of a cafeteria. So it's very noisy and you have to raise your voice to be able to talk to the people at your table. But if that doesn't bother you, you can have a good meal here.

Please, please, please never order the beef fillet steak there. Cooking point hit? Yes. Well seasoned? No. Silver skin removed before frying? No! Were there a few weeks ago for the Christmas party. Half of the dishes came lukewarm. A good quarter of the steak I ordered for almost 40 euros was unchewable, the croquettes from the wholesale market. The mushroom sauce was also bland and irrelevant. If I had had to pay myself, my dish would have gone back to the kitchen after the first forkful. I also tried here and there from my colleagues and am sure that most of the dishes consist of ready-made products and spice mixtures from the discount store. In addition: Tables too small, atmosphere of a third division stadium, when more fans come than expected. There is an extra star for the super courteous service and because the toilets were clean.

The service was very nice and attentive especially considering that it was really busy. We were impressed and enjoyed both the starters and the main courses. Nobody goes hungry here. The portion sizes were all more than sufficient. I thought it was very nice that Mythos was on the menu. If Greek then correct. Only the dry open house wine is absolutely not recommended. We were in this restaurant for the second time last night. We were very disappointed the first time and wanted to give it another chance. Unfortunately we were disappointed again. The first time in the summer the food arrived about an hour later and was even cold. The staff was really very unfriendly and stroppy and not friendly at all. Unfortunately the coffee didn't work out well because we had to wait 15 minutes for it. But let's come to last night: first of all, the greeting was very blunt and you were sat down and just a "number". We don't expect much, but friendliness and some competence have to be there. The food was so-so, the meat was very tough. Well, you can't go wrong with fries, but the olives were delicious. The waiter was rude because we wanted a carafe instead of a glass of wine. His statement was "I can't change that now". They didn't come to meet us at all. A hospitality receipt was then too much to ask for, rolling your eyes etc. and finally, the icing on the cake was that the waiter said that there should actually be a tip for him 😳!? I'm sorry, what ? So we were so dissatisfied and then claimed that he didn't say that at all because we wanted to speak to the boss. Sorry, no!

After our fourth visit to the kipos restaurant today, we were unfortunately very disappointed. The food was delicious, but the service overall was extremely unfriendly; neither a please, thank you nor anything else. After we took cutlery from another table because we didn't get any, we were loudly shouted at (with rolling eyes) if we didn't want to take over his work and if he could take off his apron so that he could finish work. To top it all off, after asking several times, we waited over half an hour for our bill and were not given a friendly farewell, as is usually the case. You might think the store would have been packed, but that wasn't the case at all. Unfortunately, this was our last visit because we didn't feel comfortable as guests and we don't want to be treated badly in the future when we go out to eat at a more expensive price.
