Haus des Döners in Köln

Wir haben über eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet – und das, obwohl wir die ganze Zeit draußen standen und uns Sorgen um unser Auto gemacht haben. Währenddessen kamen andere Kunden, bestellten erst vor Ort und bekamen ihr Essen schon nach wenigen Minuten. Das hat sich für uns leider überhaupt nicht fair angefühlt. Gerade wenn man nicht einfach irgendwo halten oder parken kann, ist eine so lange Wartezeit besonders ärgerlich. Schade – wir hätten uns einen fairen und nachvollziehbaren Ablauf gewünscht. Besonders irritierend war, dass ein Polizeiwagen vor Ort bestellte und das Essen bereits nach wenigen Minuten mitnehmen konnte, während wir schon sehr lange warteten. Ob das einen bestimmten Grund hatte, weiß ich nicht – für uns wirkte es in diesem Moment jedoch leider unfair.

Der Döner war 2⭐️ von 5. obwohl frisch zubereitet ! Das Fleisch und die Soße müssen mehr gewürzt sein und mehr schmecken! Es sollte auch genug scharfpulver vorhanden sein. Sonst Location, Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit alles super.

NICHT für Falafel. Woher kommen die überraschend guten Bewertungen zum veganen Angebot? Der Mitarbeiter fragte aufgrund der Zutaten des Dürüms nach und entschied sich dann für eine ungenießbare Kombi. Habe den gegorenen Geschmack der umgekippten Soße noch immer im Mund. Mehr Geschmack kann es auch gar nicht geben, da weder gebackenes Gemüse noch Minze angeboten wird für die 9 Euro. Das gibt es in Ehrenfeld überall besser, frischer, preiswerter. Schade.

Dönerladen oder türkische Hochzeit? Die Musik war so laut, dass mir der Kopf weh tat. Das ist meine erste Bewertung. Man konnte sich wegen der Musik kaum unterhalten. Es war total nervig; ich konnte mein Essen vor lauter Stress gar nicht genießen. Das Fleisch war außerdem viel zu dick geschnitten.

Freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Wir haben extra für das Fleisch bezahlt, und die Angestellten haben es dann auch nachgelegt, nachdem sie bemerkt hatten, dass sie es vergessen hatten. Das war allerdings von den Resten des Dönerpreises. Na ja, immerhin waren sie ehrlich, und das Essen war gut.

Essen ist eine 10/10. Der Döner schmeckt besser als von jedem anderen laden. Bis heute mein lieblings Dönerladen. Service ist eine 10/10 Gastfreundschaft und kinderfreundlich. Ambiente genauso gut. Es gibt viele Sitzplätze im Gebäude aber außerhalb keine. Toiletten gibt es auch.

Der Döner hat mir gut geschmeckt; das Fleisch war köstlich und frisch. Auch der Service war gut, ich komme gerne wieder.

I've been going here for a year now and have always had a great experience. The guys there are very friendly and respectful. The doner kebab itself has always been delicious, and I've never had any problems with the meat, which I'm really picky about. They always accommodate special requests, and that's something you really appreciate as a customer.

They tried to scam my friend and I. They tried to make us pay over 15 euro extra because we were drunk. Scammers. Food old and not fresh. Never Coming back.

Hello everyone, I regret to announce that the doner kebab at Haus Döners no longer meets my expectations. I would describe myself as an absolute doner lover, but recently I've noticed a very strong odor from the meat. I suspect it's from the lamb, which is known to have a strong odor. Unfortunately, I don't like this odor at all, which significantly spoils the overall impression of the meal. Basically, without this odor, the doner kebab would be worth a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

I've rarely eaten such a bad kebab, and I've never left a kebab half on the plate in my life... until I ate here.

I asked the employee for a meat doner and he unfortunately made me a chicken doner but it was okay

When I tell you I've never eaten such a bad kebab, fries, or halloumi in bread, I mean it. The fries taste of old oil, and the meat is rubbery. These one-star ratings are too kind. We were literally so shocked. A blonde woman was working there today. I don't know if it was her fault, but the kebab was very bad.

Averagely good kebab, very fast, but the staff doesn't exactly exude a willingness to sell.

The staff was super friendly, relaxed, chatty, and had a great sense of humor – the three guys behind the counter created a great atmosphere. I don't usually complain about Google, but this was by far the worst kebab shop I've ever been to. There were two of us there, and as we were ordering, a mouse ran from behind the counter to the exit, as if it were on the run. The kebab meat tasted strange. We didn't get napkins like we usually do, and the kebab box only gives you wooden cutlery, which ruins the taste. The walls were half-torn, and the smell made it impossible to use the restroom.

The Haus des Döners in Ehrenfeld is highly recommended! The kebabs are super fresh, the bread is crispy, and the ingredients are always top-quality. I particularly like the large selection. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and even during peak hours, you're served promptly. Plus, the long opening hours are perfect for those late-night hunger pangs. For me, one of the best kebab shops in Cologne—everything just works here!

I'll start with the interior which is very nice and modern. A warm atmosphere and what I liked is that you can see how the guys cook the dishes. The portions are quite big I would say and everything was tasty. The guys are friendly. The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have the menu printed on the sheet. The bathroom is very clean and has a pleasant smell.

Unfortunately, the quality isn't what it used to be. The bread is usually very spongy and simply tastes like it's slightly spoiled. At Haus des Döners, it's a matter of luck whether you get a real, tasty kebab or a bad one that day, so try to avoid them.

You get old fries when you order takeout. Never buy anything there again.

The sauces are excellent. The sauces taste very good. The meat is just okay, tastes like any other rotisserie. The bread is also okay.

A truly amazing kebab, unlike anything we Munich residents have ever seen! The meat, bread, and sauce—everything was just right. The staff were also in a great mood, which is unfortunately not a given these days.

Unfortunately, the doner kebab is only average. The meat could have been more flavorful, and the sauces are truly greasy. No light yogurt or garlic, just a mayonnaise-like sauce that completely ruins the whole doner. The final result is a greasy taste that's absolutely disgusting!

The store stinks, is dirty and employees don't speak German and don't even look at you when you communicate with them. They want to make you look expensive/elegant but they're cheap like a carrier bag at a discount store

Very tasty, asked beforehand if I wanted this and that. No stress. Clean. Very relaxed and nice. Ayran costs EUR 2.- 😃 so nothing is free. The environment has something of the small Istanbul of Cologne (meaning neither derogatory nor negative). I'd love to come back.

I usually never write reviews but the Doner was so good that I had to write a review while eating it. This is the best Doner i’ve had in my entire life. I’ve lived in many countries including Turkey. However i’ve never had a Doner better than this. The guys are so friendly and nice. Food is so fresh and flavorful. Meat is so tender and flavorful. You get a taste of everything and the flavors explode in your mouth. P.s It’s also Halal

Today I paid a visit to the Haus des Döner chain for the second time in my life. In addition to the branch at Heumarkt/Alter Markt, this is also very well rated. Accordingly, I ventured to this restaurant on Venloer Straße. I currently have a small project and would like to find my favorite kebab at Venlo. Some options are available. What should I tell you? In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this kebab. Sure, it's not a minced meat skewer of the highest quality. Is it tasty and well seasoned? In any case, some pieces are crispy, good texture and bite and there is no skimping on the meat itself. Anyone looking for a Yaprak kebab with young bull meat or other exquisite creations is of course in the wrong place. Super tasty bread, crisp and fresh salad. Only the red cabbage was a bit too sour for me. But let's get to the highlight: the sauces. Herbs, garlic and hot sauce are offered. Stop in Berlin style. I chose a combination of all three. Very tasty. The hot sauce is actually hot, highly recommended. I really liked it all around. I would definitely visit more often.

Very tasty kebab and sauces but for €8 there is not enough meat. Should you be full for 8€? I mean do they think the customers are stupid and don't notice that??? Minimum wage is €12.40 gross Doner kebab costs 8€ net so a little more respect please put some decent meat in it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the branch in Cologne Kalk. The employees chat for too long instead of making a quick kebab. On the night of October 27th, 2024, the employees. I think the store in Kalk has employee problems that are listless.

Found it yesterday by chance, the bread was crispy and the meat had an amazing taste, it was really well filled, so a kebab has to be a full 5 stars

The kebab is not good, the bread is old. Everything inside is dirty, the floor is full of tea. Not recommended

So I personally only had good experiences with the shop but yesterday we ate there and both got food poisoning. I already noticed that the shop was slowly going down the drain but this time we saw it had to go to the doctor today and he got us That confirms that we won't eat there again, sadly.
