That used to be better! Completely tasteless food, small, loveless portion and way too expensive!

It's strange - there are a lot of bad reviews about this self-service restaurant here on Google, but even so, on my few visits there, I almost always find long lines of people. Well, that may also be due to understaffing, when only one cash register is open and the food has to be eaten cold at the table, but there are so many people there. I can largely agree with the statements in the reviews with one star. Today, shortly after the food bank opened at 11 a.m., all of my food was almost cold. Another gentleman also complained; I wasn't the only one. Although I received a new portion, I felt that I was treated very unkindly. I'm not a troublemaker and I'm not looking for 'a fly in the ointment'. Why not apologize and show the annoyed guest some kindness? After all, the gentleman from Ikea measured it with his food thermometer. The complaint was therefore probably appropriate. Since I've often had lukewarm food on my plate (not just today) and I don't like the long wait at the checkout, I probably won't eat there again anytime soon. I don't like the coffee as much as I used to either. My personal conclusion: I think the quality and service, including politeness, have decreased significantly. I don't think the prices are cheap in relation to the quality and ambience. The cold drinks from the dispenser foam very strongly. It's no longer a joy for me.

Breakfast is run of the mill, nothing special. However, prices have risen significantly. Breakfast for 2 adults with 2 children €28!! Price/performance is no longer right for the type and quality of the breakfast. Salmon breakfast plate with 2 slices of salmon, a lettuce leaf and some sauce €5.95, and you also have to pay extra for the rolls! Everything used to be different.

Unfortunately, the food was a total failure, everything was at most lukewarm and half cooked. The mashed potatoes barely went down and the sauce had lumps. By the way, cold cheese sticks taste like rubber. Coffee was ok as always

The food at this Ikea was okay for me personally. I don't know if it was because it was lunchtime that the food was so dry and didn't taste good or if I just don't like vegan dishes

Boar Cologne-Ikea, what's going on with you? A visually perfect salad with strawberries, green asparagus and (presumably) feta balls beckons and simply tastes like... nothing? Total aroma void? Well, after two bags of salt it tasted like salt... Worse, however, was the “coffee”, or maybe the oat milk was just no longer good? Well, and without rambling here... without any care/cleaning of floors and tables, things get nasty at some point. Definitely no place for dates! 😀

It was pretty chaotic, the breakfast cereals weren't replenished, the checkout lines were long and the checkout was slow. Children screaming and running around and parents who like to increase the number of people waiting to return the tray because everyone has to wait for the naughty child to finally put the tray on a treadmill that they can't even see. The restaurant is obviously seen as the Summerhill of the south of Cologne.🤨😠

Unfortunately, food wasn't recommended, but the staff was very friendly. Cleanliness of the tables wasn't that good either!

On Tuesday I ate asparagus with potatoes and a chicken schnitzel. Inedible. The asparagus was overcooked, the potatoes had been in the Bain Marie for ages and the chicken schnitzel was the size of a postage stamp. Never again

Wanted to eat Köttbullar again after a long time, it was definitely the last time. Our fries were cold, the cream sauce was cream pudding, the cranberries only consisted of cranberry juice, and we didn't like the taste of the Köttbullar itself, the consistency was horrible in the mouth. I remember they used to be really good. A pity

Very good and inexpensive breakfast, you always get a seat. Advantage: Café is only paid for once and can then be refilled as often as you like. The rolls could be a little crispier next time!

Was surprisingly empty on a Saturday. Stopped here and had a quick breakfast.

In between we go to Ikea for breakfast. With the Ikea card you get free coffee. Pay for drinks once and take as much as you want! The food on offer is great, very tasty things. The selection is great, there is something for everyone. There are small, ready-made breakfast options, or you can put everything together yourself. The children can play on the computers. So mom and dad can sit there and enjoy in peace.

Quality and price don't match. It gives you the feeling that Ikea employees are constantly thinking about which product/ingredient will save a few more cents. Conclusion: We will have breakfast at home in the future.

I still remember times when the food was an additional incentive to go to IKEA. Unfortunately, these times seem to be finally over. Köttbular from the water bath? This has nothing to do with cooking anymore, it's microwave level.

We were there for breakfast at around 11:30 in the morning on January 10, 2024 and what we found was simply nothing... There was a slice of cheese, salami, no butter, no egg, just a few pancakes and they were rock hard so you couldn't even break them 😤 It's a shame you can't upload videos here. If you had thrown it, the other person would definitely have suffered a laceration 🥲 Butter was only available upon request and the lady at the checkout wasn't very friendly either... Otherwise it was rather quiet and not a long queue. All in all, I can't recommend it.

Bad service, dirty restaurant and long waiting times. The ice cream machine is broken. We were only informed of this after queuing for over 15 minutes at the checkout. Apparently it was impossible to give any information beforehand or put up a sign somewhere. Several dispensers of the soft drink machines were broken or empty. In addition, everything around the issues was sticky and dirty. All in all a real waste of money.

The restaurant's furnishings are of very high quality, it is very pleasant, but the long queues and cash registers could be better. The public wifi could be stronger, unfortunately there is no good reception on the cell phone, so I would like to think that it could be improved

Vor ein paar Jahren sind wir gerne mit Freunden vor dem Einkauf auch zum Frühstück gefahren. Aber jetzt ist alles total überteuert, dreckig und viele Sachen defekt. An den Getränkesäulen sind Abdeckungen defekt und fehlen, es kommt keine Kohlensäure raus, oder die Sachen schmecken nach nichts. Bei unserem letzten Besuch lagen vor der Ausgabetheke jede Menge plattgetretene Pommes, die nicht entfernt wurden, obwohl man es dem Personal gesagt hat. Wir hatten 2x Kötbullar zu je 7,95€ = ekelhaft! 2x Salat vom Buffet zu je 1,95€ und genauso schlecht und unsere Tochter hatte 2 Mini Gläschen mit gemischtem Obst zu je 2,95€. Auf der Quittung stand Obstbuffet und es waren 2 mini Gläschen. Das kann so nicht richtig gewesen sein.Das Obst war ungenießbar, hat verfault und bitter geschmeckt. Das waren knapp 26€ für die Tonne! Und das war nicht das einzige mal. Wir werden dort definitiv NICHTS mehr essen!!!

Diesmal leider nur einen Stern. 25 Minuten in der Schlange an der Ausgabe gestanden und gewartet, da die ganze Zeit nur ein Mitarbeiter alles gemacht hat bzw. machen musste und der freundlichste Mitarbeiter war es heute leider auch nicht. Das geht und war schon besser.....!!!

Heute Mitttag 14:10 waren wir da. Die Kassiererin war sehr sehr unfreundlich. Die Salat Blätter sind so schlecht. Ich habe keine Lust mehr zu weiter-zugucken

Wir waren heute mit 3 Kindern am Hot dog stand essen und hatten pflanzliche Wurst anstatt Geflügel bekommen,ich habe die Mitarbeiterinn namens DAGMAR darauf angesprochen das die Bestellung falsch ist doch die Frau Dagmar blieb stur und unfreundlich,sie hat die Bestellung nicht korrigiert und die Kinder damit sehr traurig gemacht. Der Kollege von Dagmar ein Hermann war sehr nett doch hatte keine Chance die Dame zu beruhigen. Schade das Ikea wegen ein Dagmar die unfreundlich und unverschämt ist so ein Bewertung von mir bekommt..

Wir waren gerade mit 4 Personen hier und es war schrecklich vom Frühstück her. Vergammelte Wurst, warme Kaltgetränke und sämtliche Zutaten waren nicht vorhanden. Zudem nur eine Kasse bei dem Andrang geöffnet. Warme Speisen waren demnach am Tisch kalt. Wenn das der Anspruch ist, seinen Gästen so etwas anzubieten, dann Prost Mahlzeit!!! Nicht weiterzuempfehlen!!!!

Staff was friendly. There was a long waiting time and the food wasn't good. Salmon pale and quite dry, peas hard and tomato sauce on kids meal watery... I remember much better times of Ikea restaurant.

Gutes leckeres Essen. Mittagessen ist super mit typisch schwedischen Gerichten. Morgens gibt schon früh Frühstück zum selber zusammenstellen, allerdings kann es sein dass dort es dann extrem voll und gut besucht ist.

Die hähnchenschnitzel waren preßfleisch, die sauce wahrscheinlich aus Chemikalien und die pommes versalzen. Getränke nur bedingt genießbar. veganes Eis?!!! nee lass ma.

Wir mochten es immer als Familie in Ikea zu essen, doch es scheint mir das mittlerweile alles sehr teuer geworden ist und auch nach lust und Laune die Preise ausgeschildert werden, auffällig bei den Zuckerwaffeln. Mal kosten sie knapp 4€ mal knapp 5€..Super happig, vorallem weil die Waffeln auch immer kleiner werden. 5€ mit vanillesosse ist einfach Wucher. Vor corona Zeit hat man dafür 2.95€ gezahlt. Die Kassen im unteren Bereich sind immer extrem überfüllt und man muss ewig anstehen . "Shoppen" macht so kein spass, oftmals haben wir einfach alles stehen und liegen lassen, weil wir uns das anstehen nicht mehr geben wollten.

Alles gut.. mir war zu wenig salat und zuviel Ziegenkäse.. Aber ok...ein anderer würde es anders gerne haben..

Drei Jahre bin ich nun nicht mehr im Ikea Restaurant gewesen, da ich 2G und 3G Regelungen sowie den Maskenzwang als Einschränkung des Persönlichkeitsrechts immer abgelehnt habe. Umso mehr freute ich mich auf den Besuch in der letzten Woche. Am Parkplatz glaubte ich auch Kaffee-Angebot a 1,50 Euro mit Refill gesehen zu haben. Im Restaurant selbst war es eine schrecklich lange Wartezeit und die Köttbullars schienen mir auch recht teuer mit 6,95. Viel schlimmer, sogar der Kaffee kostet nun 1,75 Euro, mehrfach war der Preis auf der Anzeige überklebt. Inflation live. Leider waren die Köttbullars total wabbelig und es war eine ganz kleine Portion. Alles sehr enttäuschend. Dazu noch eine Cola, die den Namen nicht verdiente, denn das, was aus dem Automat rauskam, war fast durchsichtig. Eine große Enttäuschung, zu teuer, zu voll, und schlechte Qualität. Dann werde ich nun an die schönen Besuche und Essen dort bis vor drei Jahren zurückdenken und nicht wieder hingehen.

Eben Ikea..durchdacht und gut. Da ich ohnehin noch ein paar Kisten brauchte, habe ich direkt mein Mittagessen hier genossen. Krabben, Cäsasalat..und Tee. Sonst immer kalt, heute zum Tee gewechselt: Meßmer ...gleich einmal drei Sorten getestet..sehr entspannt.

Ambiente würde ich als Familienknast Atmosphäre beschreiben. Essen ist teuer und schlecht, ja meinem Gefühl nach wird es bei jedem Besuch schlimmer oder der Anspruch steigt, glaube aber eher das erste. Überall die Tische von Essensresten verschmutzt und keine Mitarbeiter die sich darum kümmern. Man sieht das der Fisch vom Kopf stinkt und Ikea hier (zumindestens die godorfer Filiale) am Personal spart um die Gewinne zu maximieren. Ich jedenfalls fühle mich durch das gebotene als Kunde missachtet und werde zukünftig einen Bogen um das Restaurant machen.

Für ein Hänschenbein mit Fritten und 2 mal Mayo und ein Stück Knoblauch Brot sowie ne Cola 13.95€ bezahlt. Auf Anfrage warum ein Risotto Huhn für 5.5€ berechnet wird was ich nicht habe . Theater an der Kasse das die anderen Gäste schon schauen. NIE WIEDER!!!

Essen total mies zu mindestens das mittags und warmes eben. Frühstück ist ok. Und Getränke wie Cola sind genauso mies und schlimm. Alles in einem ein klares 👎👎👎

Leckeres Essen Spargel mit Souce Hollondaise und Kartoffeln, war ganz o.k. Für das nette Personal 4 Sterne

Essen und Essensausgabe sind unterstes Niveau. Die Pommes nicht ausreichend frittiert. Die Saucen schmecken Pappig. Das Essen ist kalt.

Essen ist ungenießbar.Saucen haben merkwürdige konsistent und Geschmack. Ein Stern gibt es für das Sprudelwasser und Cappuccino die man trinken kann.

Sauber Günstig 2G alles perfekt.die Tische und Stühle werden sofort nach dem Verlassen desinfiziert.

Frühstücke jetzt wo die Tests wieder kostenfrei sind jeden Tag hier immer 2 Körnerbrötchen für 1.20€ Und 4 Aufstrich Sachen für insgesamt 1.20 also 2.40€ mit gratis kakoe da ich eine Ikea Family Card habe Das Mittagessen ist auch sehr lecker Tolle Kantine nur die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist eher weniger ansonsten alles top

Schön hier und tolle Ideen für Einrichtungen. Aber im Restaurant wird das Essen immer minderwertiger. Und die Suppe und Waffel waren kalt. Auch hier lässt der Sparwahn grüßen.

3G. Wer mein Geld nicht will. Klar auch nur das eine Teil gekauft was ich leider von Ikea brauchte. Später dann Lieferando. Das war leckerer, praktischer,, günstiger und ohne Zwang. Den Rest verdiente Amazon.
