Ginza Sushi & Grill in Köln

Good selection, tasty food, comes pretty quickly. Sushi is very good. Service is friendly. Overall a very good impression. Have been here several times.

Super delicious!! I recommend taking the large menu because that's where the tastiest things are. But for now even the small one is enough. You always have to order the same menu for each table! The restaurant has really become our favorite. We love being here again and again.

I found a favorite restaurant<3. The staff are extremely friendly. I had a splinter in my finger and they all helped me a lot. Of course the food was also super delicious. It was a great experience and I can only recommend it!!!

Food: GREAT, service very "monosyllabic", nicely decorated and enough space! Ordering with the tablet takes some getting used to, but it works well. Unfortunately a bit expensive.

There is a lot to choose from, but the quality of many dishes is lacking. Sushi was ok. I can recommend the baked banana. However, half of what we ordered was forgotten. For the price I wouldn't go back.

Very friendly team. The kitchen closes at 10:30 p.m. and we arrived shortly beforehand and without discussing much, they set the timer down to 5 minutes so that we could order more in that time. I've been to many sushi restaurants, but you really can't beat this. The food and atmosphere are really great. The large selection of food and all kinds of sushi invites you to have a really great experience.

The food and the sushi selection are the normal standard. In some cases, ordered products were simply not brought to the table and only when we asked were we informed that the products were not in stock. Just seemed a bit dispassionate. We won't be coming back.

So first of all, the food is actually quite good. But that's where the positive ends. Sometimes you wait forever for the reorders, so the prescribed 2 hour ordering time is quickly over if you don't reorder BEFORE the actual first round is even completely here. Because sometimes things from the first round ordered arrived almost 1.5 hours later or not at all. In the lobby (right next to our tables) there were children sitting around loudly chatting on theirs. Played shooting games on cell phones and were obviously part of the staff. (Of course children have to be somewhere, but maybe not necessarily alone in the lobby for 2 hours. Drinks were only brought after we spoke to them again and and and. So the whole system with tablet orders seems to be implemented rather poorly than well.

Compared to other sushi all-you-can-eat restaurants that also work with tablet ordering, it initially takes quite a long time until the first order is brought to the table. At the end, a lot of dishes come at once, some even from the first courses. Some things didn't come at all. Some things were also brought to other tables or we were brought things that we hadn't ordered. But I have to say, the sushi tasted very good and it seemed fresh. All in all a really good sushi restaurant.

Absolute disaster! I wouldn't recommend any sushi lover to eat here as the food just isn't good in terms of taste. Additionally I have to say that the service is very poor as the waiters lack friendliness and respect, very unprofessional shop, I won't come here again.

The food is great, but the waiting times are not okay. After placing an order, you sometimes wait longer than 30 minutes. So you don't get 8 laps in the given time, but in our case 4 laps.

You can eat good sushi there. Food was fine and staff was friendly. Some were very friendly, but one was less friendly and said little. We had reserved in advance and upon arrival we had to wait 10 minutes. That was no problem, we were treated kindly.

Food was not good didnt taste japanese at al so after 2 rounds we payed and went home the only thing that was good was the gyoza. Would not recomend. Service was good.

The shop was full, but you can't wait 40-50 minutes for the second round and then the food tastes as if it had been reheated 10 times before in old fat. Only the sushi was delicious. When after the third round there was still hardly anything, we just wanted to leave. Paid full price for half of the things not even arriving and leaving you hungry. I've never experienced anything like that. Quality definitely trumps quantity and unfortunately Ginza couldn't deliver that. Definitely my last visit!

Okay, the store was full, but if you say 3/4 times that there's still a lot missing from the first round and you don't get any feedback, that's really bad. I can understand that the waiters themselves are annoyed/stressed when it's full, but of course it's also stupid for the customers, who then wait hungry for their food and not everything they order arrives (especially if you... mentioned several times). The food that arrived was good.

Sometimes it's a real disaster. Waiting times of 15-40 minutes for some dishes. Some things are always missing and you have to report them every time. So you sometimes spend 30-60 minutes on a round even though you are limited in time... Some of the sushish aren't even rolled properly. Too bad.

It's a really nice buffet restaurant. You can order food every 15 minutes. You can't finish it in 8 rounds. It tastes good too.

We were there for the first time and everything was very fresh and delicious, you have 2 hours to eat, but it gets full after 1 hour, the big all you can is overpriced per person and then without drinks!! . supposedly 40 more things to choose from at Big??? once and never again :)

Every staff member except for one young girl is incredibly rude, disrespectful and in a bad mood.

When we visited Cologne, we chose this all you can eat restaurant based on the good reviews and were not disappointed. The sushi was really tasty 👍, I only deducted a star from the food because everything “meaty” (lamb chop, chicken, shrimp…) was pretty dry or even tough. Maybe it was just like that that day 🤷🏻‍♀️, maybe we'll be able to test it again at some point. Overall, definitely recommended - great ambience, friendly service, very clean, very large selection of the large all you can eat. Another tip: Be sure to try the homemade lemonade, it was delicious 😋

Great atmosphere and one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to!! Worth recommending, the beef was extremely tender and the green cheese rolls were our favorites.

For an all you can eat Japanese restaurant, the quality here is consistently good. The selection, especially of sushi, is comparatively large, but it still feels less like conveyor belt sushi than in other restaurants. We always enjoy coming here. Don't let the somewhat ugly building put you off.

There were two of us there today. Much too hot unfortunately no air conditioning we could hardly eat two rounds of real food ordered but since it was so hot in there you could hardly eat it's basically a sauna I would strongly recommend that the restaurant install air conditioning so it's no fun in the heat. But the mint lime lemonade was very, very tasty. The food is also delicious, but I think the portions are very large and you'll quickly get full. The portions need to be smaller.

The food is really good and the place is very clean and beautifully designed... the waiting time until you get your “card” (tray), at least for us, was almost 15 minutes and everyone had to take the “big all you can eat”. A few at our table all wanted to eat, which unfortunately wasn't particularly well regulated... The waitress said you could swap the food back and forth. I can understand this statement, but just because you eat at a table you shouldn't think that you want to leave the store

As in many other shops, you can order your food using a tablet per round. The sushi was good and the grilled things were very good. You'll get full after 4-5 rounds. The service was good, but sometimes the food was delivered to the wrong table, which can easily happen with a lot of orders. You have to pay extra for the drinks, which is fine since the buffet costs 25 euros. What bothered me was the tea, which wasn't fresh. When it comes to Asian food, I expect tea with fresh herbs instead of tea bags from the supermarket. It would also be practical if you could make the selection in advance and send the order after 15 minutes, as choosing takes time.

Food is good, room very warm as there is no air conditioning. Staff not really fast with drinks, but with sushi.

All you can eat....8 courses of 5 small dishes each...very varied, super tasty, salad, e.g. seaweed salad, salmon salad😍Sushi, chicken in batter or fried, noodle bowl, vegetable rice and much more...desserts... .everything lovingly prepared and served, tasted perfect. You'll be full by the time you reach 5th gear, you'll hardly believe it, but that's how it is. Highly recommended, I would love to visit this restaurant again ❤️❤️❤️

All in all ok, the price is rather too high for the quality! Sushi rice wasn't perfectly seasoned! More like mass sushi for just under €40 pp without drinks is crazy! Don't expect an all-you-can-eat sensation, but at least expect a little more quality

First of all, I wanna say that the location is a bit off, we had a small trouble finding it. The atmosphere was nice and the food was fine. They served the dishes hot so it’s good but the sushis were a bit dry (I tried all the sushis) I also tried all the desserts, the best is greentea ice cream. We went there a bit late, therefore I felt a bit of pressure from the staff but all in all, 7.8/10.

All you can eat is amazing, tender beef fried with vegetables and served in a sauce that still makes me dream about the taste today. The lamb chops are also highly recommended, as is the fruit bowl Gladly again

The food is indescribable in the negative sense that the sushi was kind of limp. The drinks were all non-carbonated, cola, etc. Service is also a disgrace. First of all, cola is spilled on me and my cell phone and they don't even apologize. The food is brought out and it slips on the table and is left lying around. Again, no apology. The ice cream at the end was not edible because there was a fly or something similar in the ice cream. No recommendation and I won't go there again.

The food wasn't that fresh, some of it was frozen, or a lot of the things in the middle were still cold/frozen. The restaurant is beautiful and modern.

You were fooled by the high rating, but in vain! Why such high praise for this place? This is mistake!!! The taste is sooooo mediocre, and in some dishes it’s simply terrible (kimchi, for example, or Peking duck). Staff in sports and beach suits. There is no service at all. It's not worth your money, reviews are most likely bought.

Das Restaurant liegt in einem ansonsten verlassenen Center. Das ist aber auch eigentlich wuscht. Im Laden selbst ist es echt angenehm. Der Service ist wirklich schnell und mit dem Tablet bestellt, kommt alles schnell an den Tisch. Das Essen ist richtig gut. Eine sehr gute Alternative zu Okinii, vor allem, weil dort die Qualität nachgelassen hat.

The service is really quick and when ordered using the tablet, everything comes to the table quickly. The food is really good. This was our second time here. The food is really delicious and the warm dishes come to the table super hot. The restaurant is beautifully designed. Unfortunately, you don't feel very welcome as a guest. The waiters do their job, bring the food and clear away. But that was it. Not a bit of commitment. No asking if you are satisfied. No smile. The food and drinks are carelessly placed on the table. A real shame. You could certainly get a lot more out of this restaurant if the service put a little more heart into it.

My favorite Chinese tablet so far. Unfortunately, you have to make a reservation on weekends because it's usually very busy, but you can still get a table no matter when you call in the evening. The staff is very nice and the food tastes very tasty. I can really recommend it!

I have to say that I don't understand the good reviews. On the one hand, I found the service very unfriendly, as my girlfriend and I were pushed out of the seat assigned to us by another waitress. I had chopsticks missing from the other seat. Then the food came and I have to say for 80 euros I was extremely disappointed. Far too much rice with the sushi and the taste reminded me of Edeka Sushi, only worse. Absolutely no recommendation for the price. Reminds me more of fast food cheap sushi

At first glance the store looks very inconspicuous. It's very beautiful inside. It was relatively empty. The food was super tasty. The service was very nice. The only bad thing was the toilet, the floor was very sticky and the towels weren't replenished. The issue with the parking spaces... you should park here at the Fressnapf. There you had to download an app in order to pay your parking ticket

The restaurant is a bit out of the way...but the service and the good food make up for it

The food, especially the fish, is not of good quality. It's the cheapest of the cheap. No matter whether it's salmon, tuna or mussels, it doesn't taste like anything. Hot food too greasy. Lamb was also the cheapest quality. Since even the avocado doesn't taste like anything, I'm using frozen products. And that for just under 34 euros p.p. There are cheaper and much better all you can eat sushi shops in Cologne! We were there for the first and last time. Ps Service was ok so far. Ambience modern. But everything is very loud. But I wonder how all the good reviews come about. Our fish was also rather pale in color. In some photos he looks normal?

Delicious food, most of it arrives super quickly! Some things took a long time, we had to ask three times whether they were still coming, but in the end they were delivered. Service hardly speaks English, which could be more difficult for tourists, for example.

Highly recommended. Food, Wine, ambience and Service; everything is just awesome. Every dish has its own specific flavor and is of course yummy. The service people are highly friendly and orders are quickly served. The waiting time is not so much between the food. Completely worth it when it comes to the money. The overall portions for all the dishes is satisfying. I did propose my girl here in the full house. The entire team helped to make it a surprise and success. We would love to visit again.

Tried through Instagram advertising and tried it there. Unfortunately an absolute disaster! The waiters don't speak proper German. They still walk around in jogging suits, which is very unprofessional! What we ordered was also forgotten and we waited 30 minutes for a sushi plate! Came home with diarrhea and nausea! I don't recommend anyone to try it out, it's better to spend the money somewhere else.

Pretty good all-you-can-eat sushi/asian restaurant. You can choose a la card or book the all-you-can-eat. You get 2 hours and/or 10 rounds with 5 dishes per round. My girlfriend and I were skeptical about the 10 rounds limit but after 8 rounds we were satisfied, so I can say that 10 rounds is more than enough. Additionally to the sushi the restaurant also serves small fried or boiled dishes and desserts. For 2 people all-you-can-eat with the big selection we paid around 55€, which I think is a very fair price for the selection you get.

Once and never again, the service walked around the restaurant in jogging suits as if you were in a ghetto district, the food was subpar and didn't taste good at all, sometimes the food was cold and not edible at all. All in all very bad.

Trotz Reservierung 30 Minuten auf einen Tisch gewartet. Bestellungen kamen verzögert an Tisch und immer wieder falsch. Da man alle 15 Minuten bestellen konnte, und das Essen kam aber 30 Minuten später, hatte man am Ende den Überblick verloren. Geschmacklich ok.

The food was super tasty, especially the sushi was very high quality. You order with iPads and can order 5 “dishes” per person every 15 minutes for 2 hours. The portion sizes are 2-3 sushi rolls. There are also enough warm dishes such as various meat, pasta, fish or other things. The portions of the warm dishes are usually larger than those of sushi. I would recommend everyone to take their time when ordering as it is very unlikely that you will be able to complete the maximum number of 7-8 rounds. My friend and I were very hungry and only managed 3 laps. The only negative thing in my opinion is that the drinks are very expensive. A 0.75L bottle costs €6.50. I find that very expensive. In total we paid a little over €40 per person, including the large menu, a lemonade per person and a bottle of water. Quite expensive but a great experience. So if you want to treat yourself to something, I can highly recommend it. The atmosphere is very nice, modern and cozy. However, I recommend making a reservation. We didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table.

For me the best all you can eat restaurant. We often ate at the competition until we found Ginza. Since then we've only been there if sushi. The selection is good and the food tastes far better than other well-known restaurants. Above all, the food comes really quickly. At Ginza you actually get the dishes that you ordered in the first round. Service is very friendly and it's not too big that you think you're sitting in the canteen. So in conclusion, every visit so far has been worth it
