Der Kellner, war so unfreundlich, sowas habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Dann hat er einfach bei mehreren zu viel abgerechnet. Als das aber aufgefallen ist und er uns dann Geld zurückgeben sollte, sagte er uns, dass er froh ist, wenn der Tisch leer ist. Dann bin ich reingegangen, um nach dem Chef zu fragen, aber es halten die Kellner wohl zusammen. So einen schlechten Service habe ich noch nie erlebt. Ich würde am liebsten 0 Sterne geben. Es gibt so viele tolle Möglichkeiten in Köln was zu trinken, wo man nett behandelt wird, das muss sich echt niemand geben.

Unfassbar mieser Service. Unfreundlich und dreist. Schmutzige Gläser. Nach dem Hinweis, dass er sich verrechnet hat, sagte er, er sei froh, wenn der Tisch nun frei wird... Unfassbar!! Nie wieder!!!

Sehr Ffreundlicher Service. Natürlich sehr an Touristen interessiert :-) Man sitzt ganz gut . Nächste Mal bestellen wir was anderes. Salatdressing vom Caesar Salat war nicht gut . Hähnchen war ok . Für 19,- nicht gut von der Qualität . Stühle auf der Terrasse müssten hier und da erneuert werden . Wir kommen aber wieder und essen etwas anderes . Second chance ;-)

Wir haben als Familie Pizza und Pasta gegessen. Das Essen war köstlich. Der Service war jedoch extrem schlecht. Sie warfen das Besteck einfach auf den Tisch, ohne es zu servieren. Sie beachteten den Tisch nicht einmal. Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Leider war das Essen extrem mittelmässig. Die Portionen waren ebenfalls klein und dafür Teuer. Wir mussten danach noch einen döner essen um Satt zu werden.

Die Pizzen waren gut, aber der Service war absolut grauenhaft; unhöfliches und unorganisiertes Personal. Danke an Faisal für diese furchtbare Erfahrung. Ich kann das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Exzellenter zügiger Service durch Cako. 4,10 € für 0,2 l O-Saft aus Konzentrat SD und trotz Rheinlage m. E. zu viel.

Guter Service und leckeres Essen. Ich bestellte Burger und Pommes. Mir wurde angeboten, die Pommes durch Bratkartoffeln zu ersetzen. Mir wurden Pommes und Bratkartoffeln berechnet … und 8 € für eine große Flasche Wasser.

Wir waren heute als Paar hier und wurden zunächst von einer freundlichen Kellnerin zu einem Tisch draußen begleitet. Als wir dort ankamen, wurden wir jedoch von einem anderen Kellner (Glatzkopf) sehr unhöflich abgefangen. Ohne nachvollziehbaren Grund behauptete er, der Tisch sei bereits vergeben, obwohl wir gerade dorthin geführt worden waren. Besonders unangenehm war dabei nicht nur die Situation an sich, sondern vor allem die Art und Weise: Der Kellner wirkte arrogant, hat uns kaum beachtet und die Situation überhaupt nicht professionell gelöst. Statt eine Klärung herbeizuführen, wurden wir einfach weggeschickt. Man hat deutlich gemerkt, dass selbst andere Mitarbeitende über dieses Verhalten irritiert waren. Sehr schade, denn so ein Umgang hinterlässt leider einen negativen Gesamteindruck.

WoW , der Kellner merkte wie wir suchten und zack wussten wir auch was wir suchten! Leckeres Frisches Eis 🍨! Richtig lecker und Preis/Leistung mega ! Im wirklichen Stress alle freundlich, zwar gewohnt direkt aber genauso mag ich das! Werden bei jedem Besuch in Köln bei euch weitere Speisen probieren! Ich bestellte gegrillten Seebarsch, der war nicht gut, und der Kellner versuchte, mich zu einem Trinkgeld zu zwingen.

Fange ich mit etwas positivem an... Die Pommes waren sehr lecker. Leider hört es jetzt schon auf mit der positiven Bewertung. Erstmal kann ich diese Gästehascherei nicht leiden. Von jedem wird man gefragt ob man nicht dort essen möchte. Aber gut, dass scheint gängige Praxis zu sein. Unser Kellner wirkte, als hätte er schon einen sehr langen Arbeitstag hinter sich (es war später Nachmittag). Das Essen kam zeitlich angemessen, was positiv zu werten ist. Allerdings hat mich der Anblick der Teller entsetzt. Sowohl meine Begleitung als auch ich hatten beide ziemlich beschädigte Teller bekommen. Nicht einfach nur ein kleiner Chip. Nein, es waren ganze Ecken weggebrochen. Das soetwas einem Gast vorgesetzt wird ist schon frech. Wir hatten Schnitzel Wiener Art bestellt. Für 19,80€ (der Preis ist eigentlich völlig okay) bekamen wir je 1½ Schnitzel. Wobei ein Schnitzel einfach halbiert und so serviert wurde. Die Schnitzel kamen leider aus der Fritteuse. Zwar schien das Fett noch völlig okay zu sein, jedoch war das Fleisch an sich geschmacklich nicht mehr so gut. Es war mit Abstand das schlechteste Schnitzel was ich je gegessen habe. Die Beilage bestand aus zwei welken Salatblättchen, einem Zitronenviertel, einer Scheibe Gurke und Tomate. Als ich nach Mayonnaise fragte, kam der Kellner mit einer großen Flasche zurück und machte mir die Mayonnaise auf meinen Teller. Das hätte ich schon gerne selbst gemacht... Es ist grundsätzlich nicht falsch mit Flaschen zu arbeiten, im Sinne der Umwelt. Aber dann doch bitte nicht solche großen Flaschen, bei denen sehr am Preis gespart wurde... Alles in allem waren wir sehr unzufrieden. Der Preis den ich bezahlt habe, ist grundsätzlich angemessen. Allerdings nicht bei der leider schlechten Leistung. Das wir nicht einmal gefragt wurden ob alles in Ordnung sei, gab mir schon zu verstehen dass der Kellner genau wusste dass er keine gute Qualität geliefert hat. Damit ist jetzt das Essen und die Teller gemeint. Sein etwas unmotiviertes Verhalten vernachlässige ich mal. Schließlich kann jeder mal einen schlechten Tag haben. Fazit: Wir werden hier keine Gäste mehr werden.

Das Wiener Schweinekotelett war köstlich 😋, die Spaghetti Bolognese eher mittelmäßig und der einfache Gemüsesalat 🥗 ziemlich gewöhnlich. Das Essen kostete inklusive Trinkgeld 60 €, und wir waren ziemlich satt 😆

Woooow! Unser neuer Liebling wenn's um gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen geht! Haben in den letzten 10 Tagen 2x bestellt (über Lieferando) für ca.50€ - das macht man nicht wenn das Restaurant mies ist... Mein Favorit ist das Jägerschnitzel mit Kartoffelpüree. Das Püree ist wie von Oma gemacht *zwinker und die beiden mittel-großen Schnitzel absolut fettfrei, Soße ist auch super (vielleicht etwas mehr drauf tun weil so lecker?) ;) Hatten noch Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut und Bratkartoffeln und Cheeseburger. Alles auch sehr schmackhaft und gut, fair portioniert. Da kann man nicht meckern!! Lieferung erfolgte stets pünktlich bzw. vor der angegebenen Zeit und heiß, die Lieferanten außergewöhnlich nett und positiv. Fazit - bei Promenade werden wir sehr gerne wieder bestellen und auch gern vor Ort mal reinschauen. Bedanken uns mit vollen 5 Sternen!

Wir kehrten dort zum Essen und Trinken ein. Die Angestellten waren geduldig und hilfsbereit. Es regnete, aber der Außenbereich ist überdacht und beheizt. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Das Essen war wirklich gut und der Long Island Iced Tea genau das Richtige. Ich habe den Besuch in diesem Restaurant sehr genossen.

We were here for breakfast. The place was very dated. The staff was friendly, but nothing more. Just the bare essentials. The restrooms were a complete disaster. The food was average, but the prices weren't justified. I thought €13.50 for the English breakfast (see picture) was a bit cheeky. The taste was okay, but you can't go wrong with that.

The food (pizza Margherita & ham/mushrooms) was okay, but nothing more. The pizza dough was a bit dry and heavy, there was a lot of cheese (fatty) and layered with dried herbs, but the mushrooms were fresh. The service was good and friendly. The ambiance along the Rhine was nice, but the seating was very cramped. With a bit better food quality, this could be a really great restaurant.

The food was very well presented and delicious. The outdoor area could be a bit nicer. The staff was very attentive.

Restaurant Promenade offers a beautiful view 🌅 and cozy surroundings that create a wonderful setting for the meal. The food is really good 🍽️ – tasty and well-presented – and the service was both friendly and attentive 👍. The prices are on the slightly higher end for a lunch with the family 💸, but the quality fortunately follows suit. The only downside during our visit was that there were quite a few wasps 🐝, which took a bit of a toll on the overall experience. All in all, a delicious place, especially if you're looking for a dinner with a view and a good atmosphere.

Waiter randomly added 1.6 € on the bill then when we asked him he said it randomly was added on the kasse and refused to remove the random extra “drinks” fees, scammers

Expensive, took a long time, lots of mice on the terrace, burnt and very greasy pizza. The waiter was nice. The atmosphere was nice because there were lots of people, but there were mice...

Super friendly, serves food at 12:30 am on Mondays and you can also get an espresso at that time - great place!!

Extremely disappointing experience. The service was rude and inattentive, the food bland and overcooked, and the atmosphere felt cold and uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the time or money. Not recommended.

We were there for breakfast. Sitting outside was nice, the service could be friendlier and the food was of mediocre quality for a slightly high price. Breakfast for 2 people with coffee and orange juice for around 55 euros.

Unfortunately the kitchen is not recommended! At least when it comes to sauerbraten with dumplings...

Very unfriendly waiter. At the next table, guests left the table before ordering because they saw it the same way. Instead of the vanilla ice cream I ordered, I got strawberry ice cream...

We were very happy with our lunch. Quality and preparation were good. Big portions. Very nice and attentive service.

Preferably no star at all! The staff was friendly, tables were full of crumbs upon arrival. In addition, there was a very drunk man sitting outside at the tables who was harassing other guests and throwing pints of glass around them. We watched the whole game for 40 minutes and were totally annoyed when the food was served and would have liked to leave. After another 15 minutes we had the food packed up and paid because we just felt totally disturbed. We expressed our displeasure to the waiter and asked why we didn't just call the police, to which he responded unequivocally and in a completely inappropriate tone. It's the (regular guest) of the restaurant and the gentleman couldn't help it, he's drunk and doesn't know what he's doing, ah, okay, paying guests who want to eat in peace and don't leave little money there have to suffer? So another reason not to enter this restaurant again!!!!!

I visited this restaurant with a friend a while ago. We actually just wanted to refresh ourselves briefly as we had an appointment to meet later at the wine festival. Unfortunately, this brief refreshment turned into a minor disaster. 90% of all ready meals that I have eaten in my life have had better taste and quality than our meals. Furthermore, we were completely ignored by the waitress for a good 30 minutes. After drawing attention to ourselves by pointing out things, we were finally served. Even though we told a waiter that we wanted to pay, our request was ignored. We finally went in and paid at the counter. I can only heartily advise anyone not to visit. There is now even a video review of this restaurant on YouTube.

Got scammed , waiter came over demanding €17 for unpaid drinks from the night before , as there was a group of us it kind of seemed possible , so we paid and ordered breakfast, while eating we worked out everything had been paid for. As we got up to leave , we overhead another group of English saying the same thing €17 for unpaid drinks from the night before.

Each of the dishes we ordered was average in taste and too expensive in terms of price.

The waiter was rude and completely overwhelmed because I asked him to please wipe the crumbs off the table. I had the sauerbraten. Dumplings, red cabbage and meat were cold, and you could hardly chew the meat, it was very tough. The same thing happened at the next table, the reaction of, I assume the boss, was unacceptable, if the food was cold they should kindly sit down. A waiter was smoking the whole time and he served the plates with these hands. The only bright spot was the waitress with the glasses and the waiter with the white sweater, they were very friendly and nice. We will still never come here again, absolutely not recommended!!!

AVOID! ROACHES! Had a nice evening here sitting outside, but then noticed a roach when I went inside to use the restroom.

The atmosphere is good but that’s pretty much all the good things in this place. To begin with the chair I was sitting on had a broken handle and was uncomfortable. That to the side My friend ordered prawns with tomato sauce for 35€ and what came shocked us!!! There were like 6/7 prawns probably frozen in not so tasty tomato sauce😡. On top of that I ordered small coke and the waiter insisted to give me a big one and that it was „egal“ or whatever, ended up paying twice the amount. We waiter for the bill to come for about 15 minutes, keep in mind it was not full or something even close to full. Would not recommend!

To George: What an exaggerated rating. We are guests here often and have never had any problems. Go ahead and eat at McDonalds…

It's a shame that we didn't look at the reviews beforehand, then we would have saved ourselves the bad food. The ribs were tough and didn't want to give up the bone. The lasagne al forno had little to do with the version I was familiar with. The schnitzel or schnitzels were probably from the freezer.

It's a shame that you can't give a minus rating. All 4 dishes were terrible. The ribs were tough and inedible, the schnitzel was the cheapest frozen food from the wholesaler and the lasagna was indefinable which one would taste better from the supermarket. And the bill for it is outrageously high.

If you see this store, I only give you one piece of advice: grab your feet and run away! (Greek proverb) Here is the experience we had today: We ordered two peppermint teas without looking at the menu first. What was served: Two glasses of hot water and three peppermint leaves each. When I asked for the bill, the waitress quoted an amount of €13.80. I generously rounded up to €15. Afterwards I started to think: €6.90 per tea? For hot water and three peppermint leaves? When I asked the waitress how much a tea costs, she thought for a moment and then said: €6.80. With the justification that it is Christmas time 🙄. That's just cheeky and outrageous. This store needs to be closed!

The restaurant makes a very calm and relaxed impression, and the staff's professionalism is reflected in their consistent demeanor. The service and communication was quite friendly and very satisfactory. The food was prepared really quickly and very tasty. There is plenty of choice for children and adults. The drinks list was also very well stocked with many alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. As well as a large selection of cocktails for driver and passenger. Overall a really lovely visit and stay. The staff looked after us in every free minute. The portions were more than satisfactory and reasonably priced. I would like to thank you for an unforgettable evening and a great dinner.

I put one star because I can't put zero. They approach you on the street and sell you miserable, inedible food and they don't bother to ask you why you left your plate untouched. They just take it off the table an hour later and charge you. Total inefficiency of service even to bring the bill.

The toilet smelled of urine and the food was bad. The cordon bleue came out of the deep fryer and the breading was rock hard. The fries were dry and the plate was swimming in grease. The salad on the side of the plate was without any dressing. Mayonnaise was simply placed at the table in the large sausage stall bottle. That was my worst restaurant visit in years. Why not a star? The food was bad, but it looked beautifully presented and the service was friendly towards me. Although I read in other reviews here that it is often different.

***Tourist trap restaurant*** The waiter had a very bad attitude and the dishes were not of good quality and cold.

We took two simple crepes: one with nutella and one with chocolate with scoops of ice cream and whipped cream, the second crepe was soaked in ice cream as if it had been forgotten for a little while... basic but good crepes in themselves.

The food wasn’t perfect but it wasn’t too bad and it’s expensive we had 2 cocktails and food it was about €80 and when I paid the waiter was asking for tips like makes me feel I have to, when I didn’t pay the tips then suddenly he went very miserable and rude, i would not recommend this place

I have never felt as cheated as I did in this restaurant. Not even a tourist bar in southern Europe is so bold. Absolute rip-off, even when asked, there was no proper invoice. (35 euros for 2 crepes with all the extras missing - so seriously just the crepe with Nutella on it, nothing else, a cola and a juice)

Ordered for delivery: received wrong food. On the phone they said you could bring back the wrong food and take the right food with you. Disgraceful to order food for that price.

Avoid if you don’t want to get offended. Stayed in the hotel, 1st time had dinner in the restaurant , the waitress kept the balance as tip, 2nd had dinner, the waiter kept the balance again, so we approached him and asked for the balance, he gave it back with very bad attitude.

We ordered a meat dish but it was undercooked. At the time of payment, the staff, having not left a tip due to our misunderstanding, threw the receipt very rudely on the table, immediately taking away the glasses and water that we had to finish consuming. He left without saying goodbye.

We asked the middle-aged, bald man for a menu, and he yelled at us. When he finally brought the menus, he threw them onto the table. We left without ordering due to the rude and unprofessional service. I wouldn't recommend this place.

So food was okay. There is something to complain about, but that would be too nitpicky. However, I don't find the service satisfactory. The waitress kept leaving our table even though we were ordering. Exactly the same when it comes to paying. The receipt was simply thrown on the table and we were told to sort it out on our own. (brief information for context: we wanted to pay immediately) After we took out the money, we were left alone again. We spoke to another waitress and she couldn't help us either. In the end, the waitress dropped the money and left.

Expensive tourist trap meals with bouncers surrounding the seating area and coaxing people in with promises. What it said on the menu wasn't actually what we got and quite a lot got left. €6.50 for a regular coke too. Had a German with us who was about the flip the table over the food and service, worst schnitzel they have ever had according to them and they left nearly all of it. Paid and didn't get change back, just walked back to the bouncer barrier. Avoid.

The spaghetti bologneise was just a little bit of spaghetti with sauce straight from the can. The service was also really bad. We didn’t see the check we just needed to pay.

The meal was average and tasted nice, but as we were English on holiday they didn’t care about us other than making them money, the table service was poor and they are constantly trying to chase people into sitting down at the tables too! Also like others have said if you do not tip, they consider you rude! We were in the middle of paying and they stopped us so they could get the next customer sat down! Not somewhere I’d go again!

Was a bit nervous given the other reviews, but the schnitzel was really nice and the service was excellent; quick and helpful.

Yesterday my girlfriend and I were eating in this restaurant. We ordered bockwurst with fries. Quite simple. The nice young waiter served it to us and I thought ok, the bit of white on the bockwurst could have come from the salt water. Hmm at the first one There was a very sour taste in the sausage and the second bite made me feel sick. The fries were cold and full of fat. My girlfriend also tasted it that way, it was very horrible. We explained to the young waiter why we did that We couldn't eat and he came back with a very unfriendly head waiter. We actually wanted an apology and not an explanation that the bockwurst always tastes like that and the fries are okay too. I come from the catering industry and I know what that tastes like. Oh yes and I don't want to write about the toilet there 🤮🤮 Conclusion, we paid for everything and left. I don't think the lovely people of Cologne go there to eat. It's best to take a look at the toilets 🚽 before eating.

Overpriced for this quality! I had a lumberjack steak. The meat was extremely tough and barely chewable. The portion was measly and you could count the onions that were supposed to be on the meat with one hand. Thought that maybe it was just my food that was so bad, but out of 17 meals only the pizza and bruschetta were ok. I personally found drinks very expensive at 6.50 for 0.4. Now I'm coming to the toilets... really disgusting! Nice on the tiles, toilet paper (used) spread across the floor in the toilet cubicles and the toilets dirty. Aaaabut our waiter was nice and accommodating. However, he couldn't change anything about the food.

Überteuert für diese Qualität! Ich hatte ein Holzfällersteak. Das Fleisch war extrem zäh und kaum kaubar. Die Portion war mickrig und die Zwiebeln die auf dem Fleisch sein sollten, konnte man mit einer Hand abzählen. Dachte das es eventuell nur mein Essen ist, das so schlecht war, aber von 17 Essen war nur die Pizza und Bruschetta ok. Getränke fand ich persönlich auch sehr teuer. Jetzt komm ich mal zu den Toiletten... echt widerlich! Kot an den Fliesen Toilettenpapier (benutzt) in den Toilettenkabienen auf dem Boden verteilt und die Toiletten ansich mit sämtlichen Ausscheidungen beschmiert. Aaaaaber unser Kellner war nett und zuvorkommend. Am Essen konnte er allerdings auch nichts mehr ändern.

Kann mich nicht erinnern jemals so schlecht gegessen zu haben. Sauerkraut kalt, Portion winzig. Fitnesssalat ohne Dressing (Info vom Service - gibt es hier nie; ist halt so), Backkartoffel ohne Dip (ist auch immer so), Salatblätter matschig, Pizzabrötchen kaum kaubar. Der Laden lebt definitiv nur von der Lage! Einziger Lichtblick: Der Assistent Kellner, nett und hat versucht zu retten; was geht!

I spontaneously had lunch there with my daughter and probably should have read the reviews here beforehand. We had a pizza tonno and a pizza salami. First there was bruchetta. We sat outside and had a great view of the Rhine. The starter took a very long time and was very small for the lavish price. But the taste was still quite OK. Then, after another very long wait, the long-awaited pizzas arrived. Giant big! We were thrilled. Until we tried them. Totally over salted and they both had a strange aftertaste. Well, hunger drives it in. The surprise came early in the evening. Neither of us ate anything in the evening because our stomachs felt a little queasy. The next morning we were both surprised with diarrhea. Of course, we could have contracted the infection somewhere else, but the fact that the symptoms appeared at the same time is a huge coincidence. We ate completely different things both for breakfast and the day before. So it would be a very big coincidence. We definitely won't eat there again. A small note about the waiters: I don't really think it's great that they position themselves slightly out of sight of the guests to smoke and use their working time to look at their cell phones. But the owner has to evaluate that.

Never eaten so badly. Not eating anything would have been better. Pizza overly salted, steak well done instead of medium rare and burnt in places, schnitzel and Camembert simply disgusting. Also absolutely overpriced and our price was simply rounded up.

Placed an order late in the evening. They wanted to give us a simpler place for the waiters instead of the one we wanted. The waiter hardly delivered anything exactly as ordered, for example green tea instead of mint tea When I asked for a cushion for the seats, they looked at me angrily, so I got it myself. Crepes: 0/10 Waffles: 5/10 Espresso: cold 3/10 Mint tea: hot water with a few mint leaves 0/10 Do not recommend any.

We were lucky with the waiter; we were served by a pleasant man who explained everything about the menu in detail. But the rest of the staff looked arrogant and dismissive. I drank an Ipanema cocktail - it turned out to be very sweet. By food. I’ll say right away that we were very hungry and ate everything. BUT. The chicken meat was very dry. Some type of meat had a stale smell. I would not recommend going here with children. Paid for 3 cocktails, meat mix and fries about 100 euros

Food basically ok. Were there for 4-5 hours and they tried to charge us way more than what we ordered.

Inedible food and very long waiting times. Burnt, dry, unseasoned spaghetti was served for € 19.- The only message we got from the waiter was that if we didn't pay for the inedible food, it would be deducted from his wages. The boss was unwilling to come to the table and clarify the situation. Absolute impudence!

Absolute Frechheit. Ungeniessbares Essen, null Einsicht oder Kooperation. Überlebt vermutlich nur wegen der Lage. Es gibt aber tolle Alternativen in der Umgebung. Darum unbedingt meiden.

Absolutely not recommended. Food absolutely overpriced. For a sausage platter for two people €35? Ready-made mashed potatoes and canned sauerkraut, that's pretty cool. Staff also absolutely unfriendly. A view of the Rhine doesn't help either.

Wir hatten einmal das Kasseler mit Kartoffelpüree und Sauerkraut. Das Kasseler war nicht mehr ganz warm, das Kartoffelpüree knusprig. Meine Begleitung hatte ein Schnitzel mit Pommes. Das Schnitzel war ebenfalls nicht warm. Die Getränke und auch die Crepes zum Nachtisch waren okay. Was absolut nicht in Ordnung ist: wir wurden als wir zahlen wollten darauf hingewiesen, dass dies nur in Bar möglich ist. Keine Schilder, kein Hinweis beim Ankommen und kein Wort auf der Karte. Wir mussten uns also Aufteilen und nochmal Geld holen. Geht gar nicht!

Ich hatte einen Salat und der kam an und die Salatblätter waren schon schwarz, ich hab sie dann zur Seite gelegt und gedacht kann passieren, als ich den salat aber fast ganz aufgegessen habe, hatte ich ein OHRENSTÄBCHEN im Salat. Echt widerlich. Hab vom Ohrenstäbchen leider nur ein video, was ich hier nicht einfügen kann.

The waiter who served us was quite unfriendly. Not everyone at the table wanted to eat something and he asked “if we want to burn him” and in the end he got cheeky with a bill of €180 when we asked to be billed individually. Too lazy to split the bill and then became rude with his jokes.

It stinks, ham got lost on the vegetarian tarte flambée and the tarte flambée board was dirty, there was still food left on it (it looked like jam). The waiter reacted rudely.

The schnitzel was incredibly good. Service at a height. The waiter with the tattoo on his neck is very welcoming and friendly! The location is very cozy and comfortable. Definitely recommend!!

We ate waffles and crepes and drank cocktails here. The waffles and crepes tasted like cardboard, my Long Island Iced Tea tasted more like lime than anything else. When we said that we didn't like it when we were clearing it, the waiter became cheeky and accused us of having been there before and complaining.

Unfortunately, both the food and the service were absolute horror. The crepes taste like cardboard and are totally over salted. The ice cream doesn't taste anywhere near what it should taste like. The waffles are rock hard and taste burnt. When we asked the waitress that we didn't like the food, she immediately became abusive, changed her tone and accused us of having already complained last time (even though we had never been in this area, let alone in this restaurant.) I can only advise against going here. I have never been treated so badly in a restaurant or given such bad food. Not worth a visit.

The only positive thing was the friendly waiter. Food terrible. I don't have the words to elaborate further...

I was here on December 25th, 2017, with my in-laws and my husband. We were there solely for drinks. Bar was smoky and service was poor. It may have changed in the meantime, but it's still fair if such reviews remain :)

Catastrophe! The location is really nice, nothing else works. The service is completely overwhelmed, which is certainly due to understaffing. The Hugo was one of the worst I've ever drunk. The food is 90s style and tastes medium at best. This shop only exists because of its location directly on the Rhine.

Great place! There were twelve of us there and the staff was friendly, patient and accommodating. The Victoria sea bass was deliciously crispy. The mocktail was nice and sweet and fruity. I would love to come back here.

Bahman was the nice waiter who brought us the food with charm and wit. We were very excited about the sausage platter "special" for 2 people, really tasty 😋 and enough for 3...great location right on the riverside promenade. Always my pleasure. The gentleman who lured us into the location wasn't pushy at all but was kindly informative and attentive to our food preferences. I am very satisfied and if I were to come to Cologne again, I would definitely come here again. Unfortunately it was a bit cold and that's why they cut off the "mushroom" (heating ray) and the red light didn't take a nice photo...that's why we didn't take a photo of our delicious 😋 mega food...

There were four of us and we had a rump steak that wasn't cooked to our liking, it was toe and it still had some bones in it, it's not recommended. The guest friendliness was also not to be recommended. They just mumbled at the reception and they didn't show any insight towards us. We asked them that the meat didn't correspond to our wishes, but they still said that was correct. The bottom line is that they are not very customer friendly, it looks like a hovel and it is definitely not recommended. In the end it cost us €200. The price-performance ratio was disproportionate. I'm not a fan of McDonald's but even that is better.

This year we are again very satisfied, the food was very tasty, great service, very courteous staff
