Here today I ate the most expensive kebab of my life, I don't know exactly whether I was just completely ripped off by the older gentleman or whether the prices are normal. There was no price board at the counter (street sale). I ordered a big kebab and asked what he got for it!? When I heard the price of 10€ I thought he was kidding me..But well I paid it thinking that it was definitely worth it...Unfortunately it wasn't!!! One of the most disgusting Döner I ate in Berlin. Firstly, lack of taste. Secondly lack of hygiene. The person prepping food was touching money from everyone and putting their fingers in the bread, then placing buckets of sauce off the foor on the counter where they prepped food, and back on the foor. I was hungry so I ate it, but now I regret doing that - totally not worth it, as it tasted horrible.

Head and foot soup made from stinky roasted meat left us discouraged from eating soup at night. Another strange thing was that the head waiter tried to convince us that this soup was normal. Even though its name is great, the quality is a complete disgrace. I would especially not recommend you to drink soup.

As a Berliner for 5 years, it is the only address for genuine meat doner in Berlin. Unlike other places, the meat here has a flavor and character like in Turkey. I'll explain the stars I awarded in bullet points. Food 3 stars: We booked the Sultan's menu for 2 people. This includes everything: starter warm/cold, main course grilled meat/poultry, farmer's salad for 2 and then 2x tea and 2x dessert. Everything was great, except for dessert. Are you really serious that for 82€ you only get 2 small pieces of dry baklava with a toss of ice cream? Especially if it takes an extremely long time after you have pointed it out to the waiters. And then something comes along that is quickly thrown onto the plate. Service 2 stars: You have to remind the waiter what you ordered. And what else is included according to the map. And once you've done that, the rest is simply thrown quickly onto the table. Ambiance 3 stars: actually everything is ok, but the background noise is sometimes too loud. So high that you can't understand your own words. But it's not the restaurant's fault, it's more the fault of the people around Kreuzberg who parade past the restaurant with loud music, high-revving Harleys and sports cars. Thanks.

I'm a real kebab fan, but unfortunately I eat it far too often. In this case, the meat was cut quite thickly and I had to chew on it quite a bit, even putting it to the side. Untypical for the otherwise ultra finely sliced ​​meat. It was super salty, the sauce was run of the mill, and 2 huge tomato slices with green in the middle - unfortunately that doesn't work for me. The bread was ok, but overall I can't understand the kebab hype - especially in Kreuzberg. Unfortunately for me it failed, I left half of it behind.

I went to dinner two days in a row during the holidays in Berlin because I liked it so much. The food was super abundant and tasty, with a fire, barbecue flavor and super well seasoned. Adana kebab and Iskender are very delicious. It is the restaurant that I find closest to the flavors we are used to in Turkey. There was a crowded queue in front of the doner restaurant, you have to be willing to wait a little. Overall, we liked it very much and I recommend you to stop by if you happen to be there.
