It was an unpleasant experience; food was not as per the expectations at all; their service is poor. Not recommended at all.

You go to eat a kebab and out of the kebab comes such a sharp piece of plastic that could cut my stomach and throat open. When I asked what that meant, I was promptly told “it can happen, what do you want from me?” Incredible service and even more incredible staff. Never again.

Super delicious food, very nice service and a cozy atmosphere. We had a great mixed appetizer platter and a great meat dish. We'd love to come back!

Both the waiter and the master were really rude. I asked the waiter how much is the doner kebab, and he said go and ask the master. Anyway, I said I wouldn't disturb the master, I got in line, took the donut, he said the credit card is at least 10 EUR. I said, it's not written anywhere, I asked the waiter and he didn't answer either, then the master asked, "Are we going to give information to every newcomer?", everyone already knows. Rude and ridiculous.

I can only recommend the grilled dishes from the charcoal grill.

We've been there several times because we love the Sehriyeli tavuk corbasi (chicken soup) but today it wasn't possible! The store was overcrowded and the employees were completely overwhelmed and rude and disrespectful towards us!! We immediately got up and left. Impudence like that. We had a 6 hour drive with 2 small children because we don't come from Berlin and we drove straight to Hasir only to be treated with a lot of disrespect👍🏽 and then, strangely enough, there was no soup or kebab.

Service was good, but the kebab was hyped too much. Didn't think it was that great.

Really mean, I just asked if you could make me a kebab without meat. Nothing special or falafel...wasn't possible, I didn't get anything.

I absolutely loved my visit to Hasir Ocakbaşı! The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was simply fantastic - especially the grilled meat specialties were perfectly prepared. You can taste the high quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail. A real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience Turkish cuisine at the highest level. I'll definitely be back!

We were at Hasir's in a relatively small restaurant. Unfortunately, the hygienic conditions were not good. The Cola bottle was completely dusty. There was a hair on the spice tray and it was also greasy. The food was good.

The glasses are not washed with detergent or rinsed, the plates are broken and the portions of the meat doner kebabs are not fair. The server determines the amount of meat according to his/her wishes, there is no standard.

Specializing in Turkish grilled meats, the kebabs were flavourful and juicy, while the warm aubergine starters had an earthy, rich taste that left a great first impression. Unfortunately, the dining experience was soured by poor service. While one of the waiters was friendly, our main server was quite the opposite - unfriendly and borderline rude. He appeared disinterested, and his body language made it clear that he saw us as a nuisance rather than guests. To top it off, when the bill came, the "tip not included" section was circled in blue pen, which felt like an unnecessary push for a tip despite the subpar service. It’s such a shame that the service ruined what could have been an otherwise great meal. The food was excellent and the restaurant chiq, but the attitude of the staff left us feeling unwelcome.

Really an exceptional kebab. VERY good sauces, delicious meat. The only minor negative point is that the bread could have been toasted a little longer. But still a 5 star kebab!

We ate adana with yoghurt, lahmacun and lamb skewers. Lamb shish and lahmacun are not bad, but Adana with yoghurt is worth eating. Do not eat sweets, especially kunefe and katmer. Prices are normal for Berlin.

Definitely my last visit there! I was at the restaurant with my 3.5 year old son and he wanted to sit inside, like last time. On our previous visit we were there with two Turkish-speaking friends and seemed to have better service as a result. The waiter initially took our drink order, but for the kebab we wanted and a small portion of meat we had to queue outside, which was completely fine with me. However, what was not right at all was the price! I suddenly had to pay €20 for the meal. When I asked again, it was explained to me that the kebab costs €8 and the children's portion of meat costs a whopping €12! Incredible. The reasoning is that the meat is served on a plate and plated meals are more expensive. I still don't understand why a small portion of meat, roughly equivalent to the amount of meat in a kebab, should cost €4 more than the kebab. After I asked again, the colleague finally showed some understanding. He took some meat off the plate and only charged €8 for the children's portion, so we ended up paying €16 for a kebab and a children's portion of meat. There are many other good Turkish restaurants in the area and we will prefer to visit them in the future! It should also be mentioned that the toilets and the path to them are not particularly clean.

Lentil soup was cold, waiters are arrogant and ambiance is low quality. As a Turk I was recommended with one of my friends in Berlin to go and have lahmacun. Turkish waiter didn't know I there is any difference between regular lahmacun and findik lahmacun so they came back to table with empty hands. Pitty, shame and shade...

I think döner is one of the 7 wonders of the world, it is a dish you should definitely try, I loved it, the staff is also very loving, I can even adopt the young blonde blue-eyed one

In the center of Kreuzberg, in the vibrant part of the city, cool area, always something going on, you get hungry even late at night. A plus point is that you can get something to eat late in the evening, we were there at 11 p.m. on weekdays. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and you immediately feel at home. The employees are nice and if you complain about something, there are no discussions. Unfortunately, we had a lot to complain about about the food, perhaps because it was so late in the evening. The bread was dry and cold, the rice had absolutely no taste and was totally cold (only the plate itself was warm). The hot pepper and the grilled tomato must have been taken off the grill for a while because they were also completely cold. And when I say cold, I mean it wasn't even lukewarm, so you could say it was on the grill recently and is cooling down, no, that means it's been left for an unclear period of time. The grilled meat was lukewarm at best. Overall, not a single part of my plate or my friend's plate was still hot. Most of the food was cold, a few parts were still lukewarm. Serving meat like that is not possible. We complained about the rice that was served first, which was replaced without any ifs or buts, but we were then served lukewarm rice. When the meat was also served cold/lukewarm, we canceled the entire meal and left. For the very high price charged for the food, this is overall unacceptable. There is a full point deduction for the food. The service and the ambience are good to very good, but since you go to the restaurant to eat something and we found that cold grilled meat is inedible, we don't give it more than 2 stars overall and that's a good thing.

Işkembe çorbası was really delicious. But i found döner et on plate bit overpriced. Yes, its real meat doner but 23 eur for one portion bit too much. Lahmacun was delicious and worth to try.

The waitress cheated us with the check, charging for an extra that we didn’t order. Beside, the waitress was rude and yell us, almost violent. At the end, we didn’t fell confortable, wishing to leave soon.

I recently visited this restaurant and was unfortunately very disappointed with the service. Although the food was okay, the service significantly spoiled the overall impression. We had to wait a very long time for someone to take our order and even then the staff weren't very attentive. Our questions were answered reluctantly and it seemed as if we were more of a burden than a welcome guest. There were also misunderstandings with our order which caused unnecessary delays. When we pointed out that something was missing, the problem was not immediately resolved and we had to wait again. Overall, the experience was unfortunately very disappointing!

Was a regular customer before the pandemic and unfortunately, based on today's experience, I have to agree with many of the reviews. 19 euros for a meager plate of kebab is already steep. One of the most disgusting Döner I ate in Berlin. Firstly, lack of taste. Secondly lack of hygiene. The person prepping food was touching money from everyone and putting their fingers in the bread, then placing buckets of sauce off the foor on the counter where they prepped food, and back on the foor. I was hungry so I ate it, but now I regret doing that - totally not worth it, as it tasted horrible.

Here today I ate the most expensive kebab of my life, I don't know exactly whether I was just completely ripped off by the older gentleman or whether the prices are normal. There was no price board at the counter (street sale). I ordered a big kebab and asked what he got for it!? When I heard the price of 10€ I thought he was kidding me..But well I paid it thinking that it was definitely worth it...Unfortunately it wasn't!!! The meat was totally over-seasoned and also gristly...Never again for me and I won't recommend it to anyone...Sorry but €10 is just a rip-off!!!

Disastrous, expensive and doesn't taste good at all. For a kebab I should stand at the front, when you pay €50 you expect more for some skewer kebab with rice for my son and Eskander with very little meat, more tomato sauce than meat. Simply disappointing.

Head and foot soup made from stinky roasted meat left us discouraged from eating soup at night. Another strange thing was that the head waiter tried to convince us that this soup was normal. Even though its name is great, the quality is a complete disgrace. I would especially not recommend you to drink soup.

There were two of us there. With hunger. Since I'm a vegetarian, I chose a collection of starters that all tasted great and easily replaced a main course. The eggplant puree in particular was great. It's also nice that there is another Hasir restaurant right next door, but it has a different menu. The shop is very busy, the fronts are open in summer, which is why the Kreuzberg exhaust pipes paired with a roaring demo formed the authentic soundtrack for the visit. As ordered for Netflix. In any case, I would eat there again. After significantly more expensive restaurants on the previous days, the price-performance level here was also at a very good level.

As a Berliner for 5 years, it is the only address for genuine meat doner in Berlin. Unlike other places, the meat here has a flavor and character like in Turkey. Therefore, it is not surprising that the prices are a bit high. I would like to thank the establishment for maintaining this quality and serving real Turkish doner.

I'll explain the stars I awarded in bullet points. Food 3 stars: We booked the Sultan's menu for 2 people. This includes everything: starter warm/cold, main course grilled meat/poultry, farmer's salad for 2 and then 2x tea and 2x dessert. Everything was great, except for dessert. Are you really serious that for 82€ you only get 2 small pieces of dry baklava with a toss of ice cream? Especially if it takes an extremely long time after you have pointed it out to the waiters. And then something comes along that is quickly thrown onto the plate. Service 2 stars: You have to remind the waiter what you ordered. And what else is included according to the map. And once you've done that, the rest is simply thrown quickly onto the table. Ambiance 3 stars: actually everything is ok, but the background noise is sometimes too loud. So high that you can't understand your own words. But it's not the restaurant's fault, it's more the fault of the people around Kreuzberg who parade past the restaurant with loud music, high-revving Harleys and sports cars. Thanks.

I'm a real kebab fan, but unfortunately I eat it far too often. In this case, the meat was cut quite thickly and I had to chew on it quite a bit, even putting it to the side. Untypical for the otherwise ultra finely sliced ​​meat. It was super salty, the sauce was run of the mill, and 2 huge tomato slices with green in the middle - unfortunately that doesn't work for me. The bread was ok, but overall I can't understand the kebab hype - especially in Kreuzberg. Unfortunately for me it failed, I left half of it behind.

We typically ate kebabs in pita and Icelandic kebabs. The meat tasted good and we liked how it was here. We heard that here was the best donerkebab in town, but I ate better kebabs before, so only 4 stars left.

Not the best. Food are like semi, the staff are to busy and when you call the staff, you have to wait some time, before they have time for you, even when they are not busy. The prices are to high for that kind of fastfood.

The employees are very rude and uncaring. We sat at an empty table and no one came to us for 15 minutes. Then we called out to the waiter and asked if he would take the order. The waiter's response was shocking. He said, "We didn't take orders from other tables, we gave them an empty table." Anyway, we waited for another 5 minutes, no one came or went, so we stood up. As you can see, if you have free time and want to feel grateful, you can go, but I definitely do not recommend it.

We came to the famous Hasır Restaurant in Berlin Kreuzberg for the first time in our lives, but unfortunately we had to leave before ordering, what was the reason, sir, we had to queue specially to buy doner kebab, etc. Long story short, customers are not given much importance.
