Hasir in Berlin

The experience was ultimately very disappointing. We came here to eat a kebab. The card reader didn't work when I paid. However, my account was definitely covered, and I even went to withdraw some cash shortly afterward. Nevertheless, the waiter repeatedly made me feel as if the payment had failed because of my account. This was not only unpleasant but also rude. I explained to him that it was the machine, but he insisted that "everything was working." That's completely unacceptable; you shouldn't assume that guests don't have any money.

Unfortunately, the kebab dish was cold, served with a red sauce that overpowered the flavor of the lamb and spoiled the natural taste of grilled lamb. The portion was rather small compared to similar restaurants. The food was neither attractive nor clean. The restrooms were dirty, the salad was not served cleanly, and the appetizers could have been better.

Unfortunately not as good as before

Berlin's premier address for high-quality, delicious, fresh kebabs. Bread is homemade daily. The meat is significantly higher quality than usual. Salad and sauces are always fresh. In September 2025, a kebab costs €7.50. The staff is always friendly!

The service is extremely friendly, the food incredibly delicious. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We left very satisfied and would gladly return.

Honestly, I'm disappointed by the older gentleman at the window. I don't think he could possibly be nice. I ordered a dürüm with just meat and onions to go. When I unwrapped it, I thought, "What a surprise!" There were several fries in it, which I don't like. I had said I wanted dürüm with fries. But I didn't want, I guess, cold fries in my dürüm (I'm not talking about one fries...).

I bought a kebab here, and it was the worst kebab I've ever eaten. Never again.

I've never eaten such delicious burgers. I went there with my family, and everyone (7 of us) loved them. Everything is freshly prepared. I highly recommend it.

I can't recommend it anymore!!! The food is actually good, but there's an older gentleman who often stands at the front counter for street food and is so rude! The restaurant management should really consider replacing this person! My order, which my husband usually orders, was refused with the explanation: "No more turns away after 4 p.m." 😂 I think it's because I ordered as a woman. Unbelievable!

I have never seen such careless and arrogant staff anywhere else in Türkiye or Berlin. This is a complete disgrace. Don't come here trusting that it's a Turkish place.

That was the most disgusting kebab of my life. I got it to go. I couldn't finish it. The thickly sliced, partly raw meat with lots of gristle, and a stone in my kebab, really ruined my evening. I had to throw up afterward. It's a case for the public order office. Disgusting...

Unfortunately, we are too spoiled. But the current 4.2 is definitely appropriate here.

The best Turkish restaurant I know. Super delicious, great service. I like to hear people request an aperitif, and the tables are really close together. I've been here several times. This time it was again on a Saturday. We didn't have a reservation, but after a short wait, we got a table. The restaurant was extremely busy, and rightly so. If you can make it in advance, you should make a reservation.

If you're looking for a kebab where the staff treat you like dirt and insult you in Turkish, then hasir in Spandau is the right place for you... You should be ashamed of yourselves, especially as Turks for whom hospitality is very important... Such abysmal staff would at least fire the current ones and hire people who work with heart.... Next time I'd rather make my own kebab or go to one of the many other shops in the old town... It's just sad how a business can be run, but the boss probably seems to care a lot about that too... The customer should be king, but karma will come....

Extremely unfriendly staff! At first, they said they didn't accept cards, even though I'd paid by card here several times before. After a brief discussion, I willingly paid in cash again. The money was pocketed, but there was no receipt...

The kebab man was extremely unfriendly and obviously didn't enjoy his job. He said that credit cards weren't accepted. He then charged the person with a card. When I asked him, he said, "You did have cash." I urgently need to do a financial audit here! Then he whispered something to his colleague, and I practically had no meat in my kebab. I'd happily go back to other Hasir branches, but never again!

The kebab is okay. Definitely worth making. Unfortunately, it's a bit overcooked.

Here we tried hot mixed appetiser and döner on plate. The appetiser(meze) is 10/10 and döner is good. Ayran was one of the bests we ever tried. The serving time is fast and the prices are relatively fair. The staff is kind and friendly. The place itself is clean and spacious. We will securely will go again to try other things in the menu. Recommended

We visit the area several times a year for work and often eat here in the evening. The food is always good and enjoyable.

Friendly reception The place was very dark, the restroom was not wheelchair accessible (stairs) and a bit dirty. Great service - the menu arrived promptly, and the order and food were served in a timely manner. Delicious fresh bread. Dishes were well prepared. Prices were a bit high... you can get food for less at other Turkish restaurants. Parking was OK. Good quality tea at the end.

We went with my wife and children, my wife ordered iskender with yoghurt. It was really bad. There was a smell in the meat. We told the waiter. As if making fun of us, the man put yoghurt in front of us and said that the yoghurt was sour and that's why it smelled. The chicken meat was awful. It smelled like spoiled meat, we left without eating it. Moreover, it was very expensive. I do not recommend it.

Excelent restaurant, the service makes you feel like family. The Lamb Shashlik... is so tender, and soft, with the 1st bite I thought it was baby calf liver. Deserts are great. 5 Stars across the board. Recommend to everyone visiting Berlin.

The best Turkish restaurant in Berlin. Great food and large portions.

We picked up two Dürüms to take away from Hasir Spandau and ate them at home. The meat was very tasty and juicy, and no expense was spared - the filling was decent. The vegetables were also fresh and the sauces went well with them. For €8 per Dürüm, we found the price-performance ratio absolutely fine. We didn't have to wait to order as it wasn't busy. The focus here is definitely on the meat, which you can also taste. Overall, a clear recommendation if you are traveling in Spandau and want a good Dürüm.

A fantastic Turkish restaurant close to the Altstadt Ubhan. The place is beautiful inside and has plenty of seats outside and inside. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty and always fresh. They have one of the best meat donor you could have in Berlin. Excellent place overall.

I have known the shop for many years. We were there spontaneously at lunchtime during the week. At first the shop was relatively empty, but towards the early afternoon it became a bit more crowded. It was no problem getting a place. The staff were very nice and helped us because we needed a high chair. The selection on the menu was sufficient. I had Adana Kebab and found it very tasty. The grill flavor was very tasty. The portion size was ok and the price was a little higher. My friend also had chicken with the great grilled flavor. We were satisfied. And I find the shop a good alternative to Italian or Asian cuisine

We went to iftar as a family and my father and I ordered doner with meat. They brought us doner kebab on a plate. There was no bread and the taste of the meat was very bad. My brother ordered the wrap. They brought 7 wraps. The inside of the wrap was frozen. We could never eat anything. We left our food as it was and left, it was unnecessarily expensive. I would never recommend you to go there.

I would have expected more from a kebab in Berlin. Dry, meat tastes very fatty, as if you were biting into butter. Don't come back.

We really liked Hasır as a family, although I can't say that anymore. We were there almost to the point of vomiting. We had a simple tomato sauce in our food instead of salça like it used to be, and the portions were also quite smaller, unfortunately not like they used to be...

We've been to Hasir before and every time the food was delicious, nice and fast service, I recommend. We will definitely come here again.

Food was delicious, prices were decent. Turkish tea used to be available in a pot until you could drink it, but today a small cup costs over €4. It makes you think twice about repeating it

I got diarrhea and stomach pain after eating her food. Never again !!!

We had reserved a table for two people via Google and were briefly disconcerted when we still had to stand in the entrance for 12 minutes and wait for a table to become available. From the moment we sat down we were very satisfied. Even though it was full and a bit loud and bustling, the service staff had a good overview of everything and were calm, friendly and patient. We shared the cold appetizer plate and were very impressed with everything on it. What was particularly nice: everything was vegetarian and there was freshly baked flatbread. We then chose two warm starters and shared them. Both are also super tasty (cigar barek and the house specialty with eggplant, paprika butter and walnuts). Again, no long waiting times. We also shared the Turkish red wine, which had a very pleasant mouthfeel and a great, uncomplicated taste. At the end there was a chai on the house. All in all, absolutely recommended!

Bad service, I don't recommend going there, and second the food wasn't brought at all and still had to pay €19 Everything is null

Went there for the first time today, the food was plentiful and tasty. The restaurant is very nice, but unfortunately the restaurant is too crowded with tables and chairs. The waiters and also the other guests really had to fight their way between seated guests. No space for wheelchair users or even walkers. It was also really difficult to have a conversation because it was just extremely loud. The toilets should also be renovated again :( I found them very, very shabby and shabby. You also felt a bit rushed to go and clear the table after you had eaten. Unfortunately I won't go there again... :(

I've had kebab there several times now (and also had main courses twice) I'm always very enthusiastic, meat, bread, salads are all really great, sauces are delicious, only the hot one could use a little more spiciness. Otherwise really perfect... Been there 4 days in a row now 🤣

You can find Hasir everywhere and from the outside it always looks so elegant. So we just went in there. What a mistake. There were lots of employees but only 1-3 who actually worked. Someone was playing something on their cell phone at insane volume. The shop was so full of (empty) tables that it looked more like a warehouse. We couldn't really get anywhere with the stroller. One of the employees then positioned us right at the entrance to the toilet because that was the only place we could fit. Spoiler: the toilet was a total failure. Dirty, broken, impractical. The food was just Turkish cuisine. Solid, but nothing special. It doesn't taste any better than in the kebab shop down the street. Overall it seems like a classic tourist trap. From the outside it looks chic, but inside there are only as many tables as possible without any form of rhyme or reason or ambience. And then all prices times 1.5. Under no circumstances will I go to a Hasir restaurant again.

Unfortunately, for the first time I have to give a really catastrophic rating. We had heard a lot about Hasir, went there excitedly and were bitterly disappointed. The staff was really extremely unfriendly. How they even served it or took the order wasn't nice. The food didn't taste good and I don't like saying that. The price is definitely not worth it. When we wanted to leave, we asked for separate payment and were extremely passive aggressively told off that he didn't have time and that we should just pay and leave. I've never experienced anything like that. Also to all Muslims, we have learned it is not helal. To everyone who wants to eat there, think twice.

We have eaten at this Hasır many times, but yesterday I decided to take a photo of the food. Somehow I didn't like what I received yesterday. Ayran had lumps (but on the other hand, it means that it was just made) and my Lammrücken was only half the portion compared to the place in Kreuzberg, but maybe because their owner is stationed there and keeps an eye on it... but they gave me a lot of onions. I wasn't very happy with this dish yesterday. Even though it was generally tasty, there was just so little meat... 😅 Usually the food here is great, I always try to order something new, there are dishes that fit the keto diet, just skip the rice and bread, you can replace it with e.g. yogurt. We always have one portion of bread left, which I wrap in a napkin and make a sandwich for my partner to take to work. 😊 What I didn't like was the soup, it was dominated by some spice, something like Maggi. You can't use it with this soup at all, I cooked it 3 days ago, but all in all it's good, the guy had the opportunity to see where the soup is better... 🤭 The service men always work efficiently and are very polite. True, they prefer to speak Turkish than German, but I'm already used to it. 😉 11/12/2024 Since the last review, we have been there several times, I forgot to warn you, maybe next time...? 😅 So yesterday we ate at Hasır's again, I ordered Adana Kebab and I admit it was a bit dry. I stole garlic sauce from my partner's plate, then it was ok. He ordered something better again 😆, namely lamb shashlik. Juicy meat, slightly spicy and the sauce 🧄, it worked together very well. Unfortunately, the salad 🥗 is served with a sauce that has a very delicate taste. There is still water on the lettuce and the taste disappears, where is the sumac, juice from 🍋? I had plenty of it on top of the onions next to the meat, but the spices are missing on the salad with sauce... We ordered white cheese with the raki, delicious! The waiter had to go to the kitchen to check what kind it was because I had to buy it for home. 🤭 Best regards and see you next time!

Hasir has been a bank for delicious food for decades. The grilled lamb is my favorite meal here. But the starters are great too.

Wir sind am Donnerstag Abend gegen 19:30 Uhr im Hasir unangemeldet eingetroffen. Das Restaurant war total voll, aber wir haben mit Hilfe eines Mitarbeiters schnell einen Tisch bekommen. Trotz des hohen Gästeaufkommen ging alles zügig. Bestellung aufgeben und nur wenige Minuten später war schon alles serviert. Das Essen war wirklich ausgezeichnet, wer gegrilltes Fleisch liebt, der ist hier im Paradies. Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, wir würden definitiv gerne wieder kommen.

The food is really delicious. However, conversations were hardly possible as the noise level was very high due to the room. Gladly again in the summer when you can sit outside.

I can't understand at all why this eatery is so well attended and rated positively. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. It is very loud indoors and poorly ventilated. There were seven of us in total. The starters came at different times. While some were already eating, others waited. Same with the main course. While we were still eating the starters, some of the main courses were already being “served”. One person had to watch and only after half an hour was it offered that the meat was already sold out and that he had to order another dish/meal. Two people had eaten it because they were hungry. My main course was terribly bad in terms of taste and preparation and also totally greasy/oily. In general, no one here was really satisfied with their food. Nothing here reminds me of Turkey in terms of taste. The portions were small, bottom drawer in terms of taste and way too expensive. Very outrageous pricing. The staff here was totally overwhelmed due to full staffing/capacity. One star because otherwise you can't rate it here. Never again ....

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant The waiter was incredibly rude and inattentive. He took our order wrong, forgot to bring us drinks, and was generally dismissive of our requests. The food was also subpar. The kebabs were dry and flavorless, and the rice was overcooked. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you are looking for a good Turkish restaurant in Berlin, I would suggest going elsewhere. There are many other options that offer better food and service.

Great food, friendly service, good ambient. We were dining in, welcomed friendly from the staff, had different dishes (Kebab, Lahmacun, Lamb) and wine with it. Food came quick, burning hot and super tasty. Got goodbyed with a tee. Happy to come back!

The bread is freshly baked all the time

I bought a kebab. As I bit into it, stones crackled under my teeth. When I looked down, there was the same gravel on the ground. When ordering, the seller pulled this flatbread out from somewhere and it already had sauce on it. I wasn't surprised. Later I realized that someone had dropped this kebab. The employee took the filling out of the kebab and resold the flatbread. This happened in August 2024 in the branch in Altstadt Spandau next to the Cineplex. I'm glad I didn't bite into it too hard. Otherwise my teeth would have splintered because it was gravel the size of winter litter.

Was on September 28th. Um. At 2 p.m. I ordered a Dürüm. What can I say except that the Dürüm wasn't tasty... Meat tasted zero, sauces not good... Salad was ok... Would have expected more

Unfortunately I had to adjust my rating: We were there on August 25th. eat there. The eggplant salad tasted pretty weird after 2-3 bites. The rest of the meal was great. But since Monday morning, August 26th. I have extreme stomach upset and diarrhea. After Hasir I hadn't eaten anything else and am now stuck in my honeymoon with diarrhea.

Ummm, that was the last time. They dared to charge €18.50 for 2 grilled chicken schnitzels that weigh less than 300 grams together with a few potato wedges. Is that cheeky... it tasted good but I beg you. 2 small pieces of chicken... that's 3 euros stake friends.... usually a meat platter...ohohoh Vegetarian offer is zero

So I don't know how Hasir Spandau got the score 4.2. The service was friendly and attentive, but my neighbor and I were very disappointed with the food 😞. I had Sas Kebab. The portion was sufficient but the taste was zero. It tasted of nothing, as if the spices had been forgotten, downright bland. My neighbor had Adana Kebab and had the same opinion. I've been to a few Turkish restaurants, including Kottbusser Damm, where it really tasted "Turkish". You should also pay more attention to cleanliness. Our table could have used an intensive cleaning. The toilet wasn't exactly inviting either, there was no paper to dry your hands. There is no need to visit again.

Highly frequented Turkish restaurant in the heart of Spandau. Starters and main courses were good and sufficient. The İskender Kebap, I expected more in terms of taste, was very weak and the dressing on the plate was also better. On my plate (see picture) it looked like something was missing. Service was nice. Everything was brought quickly, but the fuller it became, the less happened at the table. The dishes used were only cleared away after they had been paid for. The ambience is good, the tables inside and outside are very close together. Toilets are clean and half a flight of stairs higher.

Well-visited Turk right at the beginning of the old town of Spandau. There are parking spaces opposite (for a fee) about 150 meters away or in the old town car park. At some times it is quite busy and all places are taken. That speaks volumes for the place, the food is all of good quality and the quantity doesn't mean you go home hungry, so a good eater will be full! Service was quick and friendly, recommended

A nice restaurant with generous portions. Food was great, but nothing exceptional. I really liked the tenderness of the chicken that I ordered, the hummus was great and the lentil soup was probably my favourite food that we ordered. They are open until quite late during the week.

We were disappointed with our visit. The hummus for the starter was below average in taste. The appetizer platter was also not convincing in terms of taste. The Adana Kebap was quite good. We had a special request for the Köfte that was not taken into account. It can happen that special requests are forgotten, but there was no attempt on the part of the service to find a solution. We had to take it as it was. With the result that our son dropped everything. In any case, the prices are not set low. There was no special quality of the food to taste. We hoped to taste exceptional Turkish craftsmanship. Unfortunately we were disappointed. In terms of taste, many standard kebab stalls are at least as good at a fraction of the price. It doesn't help to call yourself a restaurant. The benches were worn out and the toilets were rather unclean. This was our only and last visit.

Service was quite good. Menus old and worn, food was mixed. Grilled meat and lamb were ok, but the starters tasted very old (on the verge of spoiling). If I had used the toilet at the beginning I probably wouldn't have stayed to eat. The path to the toilet is extremely disgusting, greasy and sometimes slippery with grease. Direct view into the scullery. Very dirty!

Almost everyone enjoyed the food. I was happy, my husband wasn't. The cleanliness in the restaurant, floors and toilets were not that clean. It hasn't been cleaned in a while. So does my husband.
