Hard Rock Cafe in Köln

It may not be "local" cuisine, but this provided us with a great meal (including gluten-free) and a good atmosphere. You pretty much know what you're going to get but no complaining when the quality is this good and the staff so friendly and accommodating. (We were there on Halloween so there was nice decorations and an adapted playlist including Metallica and Slipknot on heavy rotation......)

We turned up on speck hoping to get a table. We did but only on one if the smaller high tables and chairs. This was fine, just a little cramped. The menu is the same in all the cafes we've been to in Europe. My boys love the buffalo wings so always go for them. It was clean and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend booking before hand..

Was only in the shop. Service wasn't exactly on point. 3 people served one person where several people were waiting to be served.

The only thing we can say about the food is the nachos. We didn't like these very much, they were very floury, and for me beans have no place in them either. I didn't like the sauces that were used either. But, this is my taste and that of our friends. 13-14€ for the portion is also steep. The drinks we ordered were very tasty. We got a Pina Colada, even though it wasn't on the menu. Very nice. Unfortunately, the alcohol-free Pina was significantly fruitier (tastier) than mine with alcohol. The staff was very pleasant and friendly! However, it was only about 6 p.m.

There were 8 of us and because I have never been disappointed anywhere in the world, I recommended the Hardrock Café in Cologne. But we were bitterly disappointed: - Table sticky - Employees unmotivated - no white wine (Saturday afternoon) - the same dish was brought differently and not completely (4 pieces) - When the food was already there, it was discovered that the cutlery was missing - all the forks were brought to us in one hand and all the knives in the other. This is not the level you expect from a hard rock cafe.!!!

Not enough t-shirt selection compared to other HRC shops

You have to be aware that you are paying for the cult Hard Rock Cafe here. You may also encounter a service that only speaks English, which makes it a little more difficult, especially for older guests, to feel comfortable. The selection of food is limited. As a vegetarian, all I had left was a single burger. The food is very expensive and honestly not worth it. It wasn't bad, but it was a bit carelessly done and nothing special. You won't find any side dishes other than fries, such as sweet potato fries. If you don't value a balanced price-performance ratio and high-quality food and you really want to experience the cult Hard Rock Cafe, you can certainly have a nice stay.

We were warmly welcomed. Table was prepared quickly. Service came quickly and introduced himself by name. First English, German was also possible. The food was certainly not star cuisine, but still rustic with delicious sauces. Drinks properly chilled. Clean toilet. Food and drinks also came quickly. It was a successful evening

Basically it was good service there. We were a little disappointed with the food. Portions were quite small for the prices. The menu includes various vegetables as side dishes. We got 4 florets of broccoli. Which weren't quite cooked yet and hadn't been cooked yet. Unfortunately, the cellar didn't understand us very well. But he tried very hard. He was probably pretty new there. And everyone starts small. That's why we don't see it that closely.

We were at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne on a Friday evening. It was possible to get a table without a reservation. The food was very tasty, we had nachos and burgers, the price of the food was in the normal range. The service was a bit slow during our visit, unfortunately an order was not understood correctly. But that wasn't a problem in this case. Ambiance like that known from the Hard Rock Cafés. A visit is recommended.

What? I've been here so many times and haven't written a review yet? Well, we have to catch up on that shortly 😅 A must: the spare ribs. And if you are there with someone and are very hungry: the Sundae cup as dessert. The prices are a bit higher, but I think that is known. The cocktails are sometimes quite bad, depending on who is behind the bar. My current Long Island was more lemon water than iced tea. Otherwise I can still recommend the Hurricane. By the way, the souvenir glass is worth it. The content is significantly more, so the higher price is worth it! And important to know: reservations recommended! If you come alone, it's less of an issue, as there is almost always space at the bar. But in the evening with company; reserve or wait!

Everything was great until we walked out the door and saw that they had a lunch menu and the waitress never told us. We could of had our burgers much cheaper than what we paid. Food was great service was great atmosphere was great but that little detail kinda ticked me off. Still highly recommend but only giving 3 stars because that sucks.......

The food was delivered on time and hot, which is rare for many delivery services. The quality of the food was outstanding – fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning and everything beautifully prepared. We were particularly impressed by the “Baby Back Ribs and Original Legendary Burger”. You can tell that people cook with love here! The ordering process was uncomplicated and the service was very friendly. Absolute recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy a first-class dining experience at home.

Although it was very busy, they were flexible with our reservation. Food is good, I had a salad with beef, my wife had chicken tortillas. There was little possibility to watch the memorabilia because of the crowd. I scored my 10+ cap in my collection 💪

I ordered a burger with only cucumber and sauce and I got a cheeseburger with cucumber When I complained I got a burger without anything, just 2 patties (I got an extra portion of fries for that) Good food, irritable service As a result of the complaint it had to be replaced

Nice hard rock! Pretty busy on a weekday. The guy who served us was friendly. Forgot to take off a drink of ours for happy hour but was sorted swiftly. Good atmosphere. Food was nice too! Bit pricey as usual but nice to go as a treat. My dad bought a zip up hoodie and the girl who served him (light, curly hair) was so lovely and friendly, asking him lots of questions and making him feel welcome. The girl who served us (dark hair) on front of house shared a few jokes with us and was lovely and friendly too.

The food and cocktails were great as always. The service definitely needs to be reworked. I've been to the "Hard Rock Cafe" in Berlin, Munich, Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Innsbruck, Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Everything went quite well everywhere. In Cologne the service was rather subpar. We waited half an hour until we could place an order, then the wrong drinks were brought to us twice in a row. After that we seemed to be ignored. Unfortunately, errors were also made in billing. I have my glass for my collection, I probably won't visit you again in Cologne.

Table without reservation for 2 people on Saturday afternoon was no problem. Service was super nice and accommodating, we were also asked about food intolerances. Drinks came quickly and were perfectly chilled. The food also came quite quickly, spare rips and pulled pork sandwich, both very tasty and the portions were just right. We will definitely come back, we really enjoyed it!!!!! Good music and great ambience.

Food, music, drinks and atmosphere were all amazing. Staff were friendly and didn't ask if the food was ok after every 2 bites. Pedro was especially memorable out of all the staff and deserves a raise. Try the Hurricane cocktails because they were more devastating than hurricane Katrina.

I had a great experience in the Köln (Cologne) Hard Rock Cafe! The service was swift, the food delicious and the atmosphere was great. The staff were really friendly. The young British waitress (I don’t remember her name) who served me was very attentive and had loads of great suggestions about what to do and see around Köln, such as walking tours and visiting Bonn.

Everything is far too expensive

As usual, good quality food. Soft drinks are refilled free of charge. There were also special sauces (customary in the country). (bratwurst) Our waitress wasn't that keen and brought one wrong drink out of four. There is a good selection of merch in the shop.

Unfortunately the burgers weren't that good. The patty was very tasty but the sauces didn't come into its own at all. The burger was too dry. But we all enjoyed the Pomeranians.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, just like you would expect from America, the service is super fast and always friendly, no matter how full it is. You should definitely reserve in advance as the shop is busy. You can get much further here in English as many students work here. The food is super tasty and I can only recommend the burgers.

One of the best Hard Rock I've ever visited. Ambience, service. I ate a burger 🍔, which was excellent. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked meat with phenomenal flavor. I will make a point of visiting again.

Very nice and fun staff! Stopped for a drink and some conversation. Cool place to grab lunch or dinner or a drink! I try to stop at any Hard Rock wherever I am if there is one near.

Had to wait five minutes to even get in to the hanf full restaurant. I was waiting and the staff glanced at me as if expecting someone else to something about it. Finally I asked the gift shop staff, if they knew any good restaurants in the area. She went and got the manager, who had been aware of me waiting the whole time to get me a table. The waitress who served me was good (the only reason for two stars), but the burger was the worst I remember eating. The hamburger was fried beyond well done. Dry as a bone. Unbelievably sloppy work, with exception of the young waitress who served me. HRC is a nice concept, but at it’s current form I recommend to give Cologne one a miss.

The food was great but unfortunately the service didn't speak good German. You can expect that the waitresses can speak English and German.

Hard Rock Café definitely has a cool vibe and an impressive music collection on the walls. However, my visit was rather average. The food was okay, but nothing special, especially given the fairly high prices. The service was friendly, but we had to wait a long time. Overall a nice experience, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Great service and the Salmon is to die for!

We are satisfied as always. In every city we go on vacation and there is a Hard Rock Cafe, we buy t-shirts and something to eat. We had burgers that were very good. The service is great here in Cologne. Everyone is nice and friendly.

The food was rather poor, the wings were too sour, the sauce was too rich in yoghurt, the service was also rather poor, the service specialist spoke poor German and also poor English.

Unfortunately the burgers all came without burger sauce...it was delivered later and we had to put it on ourselves...what a mess :-) Unfortunately, the burger meat was drier than at McDonald's. Restaurant manager for a question or rebooking...unfortunately none. Service was bad!!! Sorry, I'm used to something different from this chain. I would think twice about going to the store if you want something sensible to eat.

We play football in Cologne, Germany for the Cologne Crocodiles, and every time my teammates and I go into Hard Rock Cafe we are greeted with the nicest and friendly customer service, the food is always great, and the atmosphere is always fun.

Everyone was super nice. The drinks and food are very good. Everything is pretty quaint.

For me, the worst Hard Rock Cafe I've been to so far. Tables far too close together, the gentleman who brought us to the table hardly said a word to us. The waitress responsible for us took forever to come to our table even though the restaurant was super empty. Cola Zero was not Cola Zero. Toilets for women very dirty, hand dryers very dirty and yellow, everything overall very dirty. We know it differently. Too bad.

The Hard Rock Café Cologne Gürzenich is a very nice shop with a restaurant (bar) and a hard rock shop selling T-shirts and mugs, for example. Otherwise the staff are very friendly and happy to help.

I always order New York cheesecake, amazingly delicious. I recommend it to everyone. The only thing I didn’t like was the staff who don’t speak German, but that’s not a big deal.

People are friendly and the breakfast was great and affordable! (15 euros for two people). The coffee is great but 5,25 for an cappuccino? There better be gold mixed along those coffee beans.

Today in an almost empty restaurant in Cologne, around 8:30 p.m., we waited 20 minutes for service! Despite calling and making ourselves known several times, we couldn't order any food or drinks! There were enough staff on site deep in conversation or standing idle at the checkout! No one even noticed that we left the restaurant!

Another great meal at Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne. Friendly service. Great tasting food in a cool venue. The children’s meal came with a free Messi mini football. Soft drinks had free refills. There was a possibility to be inside or outside.

Ideal location for dining for rock fans. Discovered by chance that there are specials at lunchtime. This means it’s inexpensive, delicious and beautifully eaten.

Classic Hard Rock Cafe! You can buy hard rock merch in the front and eat in the back. Pierre and Lilly do a good job in the merchandise area and bring a sense of humor! The order was placed in English in the restaurant, which fits the feeling very well. We'll be back!
