Hard Rock Cafe in Köln

Great service, great food, and a fantastic atmosphere! I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to the Hard Rock Café Cologne. The service was top-notch – super friendly, attentive, and fast. The food was truly delicious, and the burgers are especially highly recommended. And the atmosphere is simply amazing – cool decor with lots of rock memorabilia, really stylish and cozy at the same time. A must for anyone who enjoys good food and a special atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Was slow and crammed in seating. Not really an experience.

The food was good. Unfortunately, the service was not at all. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait half an hour for a table. Almost another half hour before we could order. And almost another half an hour for our drinks. When we got our food, we had to ask two employees for cutlery until we were given greasy cutlery.

Always great to go there. The staff is always super friendly and the food always good!!

Excellent welcome and service and it was very nice of them to acknowledge our daughter’s birthday! In fact even the customers were great also singing happy birthday to her too but that’s what we love about the Hard Rock Cafe and the people that go there ❤️ Food arrived promptly and was great. It’s not the biggest of venues and has a small Rock Shop but you can still find your favourites.

5 stars are not enough for the atmosphere. It reminded me of my Bursa Zeppelin Cafe days...

It was a great experience. A place I saved to visit in Cologne and I'm glad I came. The prices are the same as other businesses in Cologne. The employees speak most languages. Cleanliness, manners, fast service are also nice. The prices for souvenirs are at a normal level. I recommend it.

Very friendly staff, and we were informed that dogs have recently been allowed. The food was excellent, and the drinks and desserts were also impeccable.

I ordered a burger and fries. Nothing really fancy or special, just decent quality. Soda comes in a big glass and also has free refills, which is nice. The best thing about this place is the service. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. 10/10 recommend!

A perfect afternoon at HRC Cologne. A warm welcome at the entrance and friendly staff throughout. The service was first-class. Good music in a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The burgers were very good and the drinks were cold. All in all, a successful stay.

We just stopped in for a drink. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We really enjoyed it. It was just a bit cramped... difficult to get through the tables.

As a long-time HRC fan, I always love being at "my" HRC Cologne. The quality has always been consistently high for many, many years. Unfortunately, the prices are also much higher today than they were back then. But all in all, always an experience ;)

The food was ok but they didn't have the pretzel starter! In Germany! What the hell? Service wasn't great, they didn't seem happy to be there and I told them on booking that it was my partners 40th birthday and they did nothing to make it special. In most hard rocks I've been to and I've been to a lot everyone's customer service is exceptional. They are happy the atmosphere is busy and fun and when you tell them it's your birthday they get everyone together to wish happy birthday and I believe you usually get a discount. To say this hard rock is lacking is an understatement. Such a shame and I feel bad for my partner because I wanted it to be special for him 😞 Hi we were there on Sunday the 11th May and the booking was for 6:30

Good food So-so service The atmosphere was okay, but a little less warm than what you'd expect from Hard Rocks. The service hardly spoke German... A bit dreary and very empty, quiet atmosphere on a weekday. The prices for the food were reasonable.

Bought a T-shirt and hoodie, and the drinks were just as great as the food. Super friendly staff. We'd love to come back.

The Hard Rock in Cologne isn't very big, but it's very cozy, which makes it truly charming. We each had a beer and wings as a snack. Absolutely delicious! P.S. The young man who greeted us was really great, as was the service, top-notch!

I don't like giving bad reviews but unfortunately this time I have to. Our visit to the Hard Rock Café in Cologne was an absolute failure. The one star is for the staff, who were really very friendly. Drinks: Overpriced and nothing special. If you want to drink one of the special lemonades you pay €9 for a glass (0.4 or 0.5 liters, I can't quite remember). Doesn't taste particularly good, sometimes just like orange juice. After all, a bottle of water for €6.50 is fine. Starters: We ordered the nachos and shrimp. The nachos were OK, not special. For €12, very economical when it comes to toppings (beans, jalapeños, etc.). The shrimp was seasoned but terribly oversalted. I couldn't eat the shrimp on its own, only with a tortilla chip it didn't taste too salty. The coleslaw underneath was okay, again not great. Mains: The mains were terrible. We had a chicken sandwich with fries and the mac ‘n cheese with a breadstick and chicken breast. When the food arrived it was lukewarm. The chicken sandwich was made with a dry (presumably old) burger bun, the chicken itself had no taste. It was not marinated or seasoned with salt/pepper. The breading wasn't crispy, but rather soggy from the sauce. It is common knowledge that if you plan to soak something in sauce, you have to fry it twice. The sauce was supposed to be spicy - but it wasn't. Overall, there was far too little sauce, so the chicken sandwich was far too dry. Taste was generally lacking. After about five bites, the breading has come off the chicken. The fries were ok, but not seasoned with salt/pepper and not crispy. Even worse than the chicken sandwich were the mac ‘n cheese. The pasta was not served with sauce, but with dried cheese. Very very salty, hardly edible. The chicken breast was dry and tasteless. The bread for the breadstick was obviously old. It was dry and inedible. We couldn't finish both main courses because they simply tasted too bad. I don't mind spending a lot of money on food as long as it tastes good, but €81 for the worst food I've eaten in a long time is way too much for me. The evening after and the next morning we were plagued by stomach pains. So my conclusion is: If you're planning on eating American food, it's best to go to McDonald's or KFC. The food tastes much better there, it's much cheaper, and the stomach ache afterwards is just as bad as after the Hard Rock Café.

A nice Hard Rock Cafe with the typical decor and the typical menu. The service and food were consistently good. The ambiance is also nice, but we've experienced more impressive ones at other Hard Rock Cafes. If you like Hard Rock Cafes, you can definitely go to this one and have a good meal there. The location is also really good and central.

I was back after 10 years. This restaurant group isn't what it used to be. I left after an hour of pop music and overpriced, mass-produced food without even a leaf of lettuce to be seen. They're trying to cater to the pop generation as customers who don't give a damn about where they eat. The staff, however, were very attentive, but the bottom line is: Never again. A shame.

Everything was great, from the service to the delicious food. Yes, the prices are quite high, but so are the quality and taste.

Good music, good food. I've enjoyed going to Hard Rock Cafes for years. The food is always good, the music is good, and the staff is great. I also recommend the cafe in Cologne. It's conveniently located in the city center and easy to reach. It's always worth a visit.

Very delicious, everything cheap and economical

We had great experiences at other Hard Rock Cafes before, so we decides to eat at the one in Cologne. We had a reservation at 8pm, but needed to wait to get seated because it was busy. Our waiter came quick to take our orders, but then the waiting game started. Our food arrived before our drinks, and there was no communication about possible delay or orders mixed up or something, which would have been a nice heads up. We ordered the chicken tenders and the baby back ribs. The plates looked bland. The tenders were fine, but the ribs weren't. They were overcooked at the sides, burned, and dry. Towards the middle they were slightly better, but not up to restaurant standards. Disappointing experience because other locations have been great. At least the waiter was friendly.

Fui al Amsterdam Hard Rock y estaba muy impresionado. Fui a Colonia y no me impresionó. Vi a nuestro servidor UNA VEZ, cuando tomó nuestra orden. Diferentes personas sirvieron nuestras bebidas y nuestra comida. Él nunca vino a vernos o si necesitábamos algo. Desapareció durante largos períodos de tiempo. Finalmente tuve que marcar otro servidor solo para obtener nuestro cheque y pagar. Vestía una camisa gris y creo que pudo haber sido un jefe, pero era TERRIBLE!

I cannot recommend the HRC. I've visited a lot of Hard Rock Cafes, this HRC is the worst. The food wasn't good, the service tried hard but nothing more. Music is way too quiet. Too bad.

Were there on the Easter weekend, very busy, friendly and good atmosphere. Shrimp are very spicy but good

Good food nice atmosphere and good service

Service and ambience are good as always, Hard Rock Cafe. However, if I order spare ribs for just under 30 euros then it's a shame or bad if you have to break out about 50% of the bones instead of removing them... some of them are completely grilled. Of course I should have said something, but since there was a follow-up appointment soon, I choked it down... From my wife the pulled pork burger with cold meat, also a no go.

Had dinner there once and had the diamond menu. It was okay. The vegan burger was really not nicely done. Not even sauce on it. Then I ate it with mayo and kechup. But all the burgers looked like this. Therefore would not recommend the burgers. The rest I have no idea because I didn't have the card. Because of Diamond Menu. You could order burgers and salmon there.

Super tasty burgers, delicious drinks, nice, courteous service. Unfortunately, it's not just rock that's played musically, but it's still worth a visit.

We ate at Cologne's Hard Rock Cafe on the occasion of our daughter's birthday, who is a big fan of the chain. In short, everything is perfect! Also a recommendation in Cologne. This is a smaller HRC. The menu is classic. As usual in an HRC, the service is very friendly.

We only went in for the shop, because it wasn't time to eat. We didn't find what we had seen online and the very courteous sales assistant gave us a gift to compensate for the fact that we hadn't found what we were looking for.

The gadgets are a bit expensive, a simple t-shirt €35, cap from €21 to €35, sweatshirt from €45 to €80...all in all the stop is obligatory if you are in Cologne, but it is not the only Hard rock café, there are several...

I love the place! The food was awesome, the service was very fast and the waitress was very nice. The place is very beautiful and there are many things about hard rock on the walls like guitars of famous people or little texts about them which makes the place look like a museum about hard rock. To the shop a friend of mine bought some t-shirts and had a hard time selecting something because he found everything so stunning. The cashier was very friendly. I like Pierre.

Terrible customer service. Apparently at a cheap burger Burger Queen you can ask them to remove the onions. But it’s not allowed to serve burger without onion at their majesty Hard Rock.

I was disappointed when compared to my previous visits. I was saddened by the removal of the jumbo combo from the menu. Nachos were very tasteless. Cocktail glasses have changed and they have simplified the presentation a lot. The pictures are from old years..

We love Pierre from the shop. He's a great guy, super friendly, and gives competent advice. He brightened our day with his whole personality. I'm really annoyed that I didn't ask him if he was on Instagram, etc. The food was also delicious. If we come back to Cologne, we'll definitely stop by again.

One star because it is not possible to give ZERO! For the first time it was pointed out to me that it is forbidden to breastfeed in public... Absurd!!! Then we Italians are the uncivilized ones...SHAME ON YOU!!
