Another great meal at Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne. Friendly service. Great tasting food in a cool venue. The children’s meal came with a free Messi mini football. Soft drinks had free refills. There was a possibility to be inside or outside.

My rating only refers to the shop, which is incredibly small, there is very little selection and everything is in a wild mess. But the staff is very friendly!

Always a must where available. Unfortunately the price has gone off and it has lost traction. Too bad

Everything was perfect, the food, the happy hour drinks...Hurrycane (cocktail) was very tasty, the music, the friendly JAY who looked after us...simply recommended.

As always, delicious food at the Hardrock Cafe. Unfortunately, the vegetarian selection is becoming increasingly limited. Good and friendly service rounded off the meal perfectly.

I ate a World Burger there and was just thrilled. I was able to walk out of the restaurant afterwards but it was 100% worth it.

Ideal location for dining for rock fans. Discovered by chance that there are specials at lunchtime. This means it’s inexpensive, delicious and beautifully eaten.

Food Quality: burger was nice, but not wow as you would expect. French fries were a huge disappointment and nothing special at all. Portions: good size of burger and portions. Drinks: quite a few options, but everything ridiculously overpriced. Price: $$$$ ridiculous prices for a burger. And drinks waaay too pricey. Food Not worth this price. Service: veeery slow. I was directed to my table and it was 30minutes before someone came to offer me a menu. After that, a long wait again to order. The table was still filthy from the last person and wasnt cleaned until half way through my meal (glasses and dirty table) Atmosphere: nice tables outside, and the typical Hard Rock Cafe decoration and ambiance inside. Classic Hard Rock Cafe! You can buy hard rock merch in the front and eat in the back. Pierre and Lilly do a good job in the merchandise area and bring a sense of humor! The order was placed in English in the restaurant, which fits the feeling very well. We'll be back!

A must for Hard Rock Cafe fans. Like everywhere else in the world, a family atmosphere, great food and great service.

It used to be better, the location needs to be renovated, the staff seems overworked and stressed. Portions are getting smaller and prices are rising sharply.

It is a pleasant place with pleasant decorations and music for music lovers. Food and drink prices are inevitably more expensive, but since it was delicious and the portion size was appropriate, I didn't mind too much.

Unfortunately we had a bit of a disappointing experience for our first time at a Hard Rock Cafe, the service was very delayed and other people who had come in later had been served both their food and drinks before us. I just felt that everyone else got more attention from the serving staff, The food was nice however our experience was a bit of a let down

The food was not delicious and the atmosphere was cold and boring. The other branches are better than this branch. I will not repeat my experience in this branch.

This time we visited the Hard Rock café for a drink. Had some delicious cocktails. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service.

All very good, as you would expect. Only the dessert portions are too big. This one in the attached picture is at least suitable for 3 people, but there was no warning from the lovely waitress that it was too much for one person. One expects at least a subtle warning about the size of the order when ordering. Otherwise everything is good 👍😊

We had a brilliant meal here. Great food and excellent, friendly service. The staff were very sociable and chatted with us throughout the visit. They interacted really nicely with our children in English, which made the experience feel very welcoming.

This restaurant/bar lives mainly from its appearance. The food is not bad but the prices are quite high. But as I said, the atmosphere is great.

Drinks were amazing and the food was as expected. Waiter forgot to enter my Unity data even though I'd already shown my card. Manager butted in and shut her down when she suggested a workaround. Manager showed attitude when criticising employees. Training is needed. Overall I left with a sour taste in my mouth. I'll probably get attitude for this review, meh.

Very disappointed. Food was very dry and cold. At first we were served the wrong food. As a starter we had the nachos and were asked if we would like guacamol and we said yes. However, no one told us that you had to pay extra for this and it cost €7 just to get guacamol.

A Hard Rock Cafe as it is. You get very good food, great music and you can watch a lot of giveaways from musicians. The food was, as usual, very good. We treated ourselves to the delicious salmon, the smoked BBQ combo and the chocolate cake. In my opinion, if you have the opportunity and time, you should definitely enjoy the food and the ambience there.

Went there yesterday. Bought some WAY to over priced merch. Went to sit down for some drinks because it was extremely hot. We've been sitting there for 30/40 minutes there and nothing. Just sitting there. It wasnt even busy. There where 3 tables with 4 people each and us After a while someone from the kitchen asked if we wanted food or drinks. So i explained we want drinks After we ordered it lasted a good another 20 minutes before they realized we still didnt have anything. Also 2 coke, a beer and a butterfly for 30 bucks is absurd

Juicy prices for "standard burgers" and also for a salad that doesn't correspond to the price in terms of quality. Otherwise friendly service and of course a cool atmosphere. Seller Pierre in the shop was great!

We were very happy with the service and the food. The portions were reasonable. As in every Hard Rock Café, the ambience is individual and an absolute pleasure for music fans.

Today we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne. The perfect service started at the “reception”. Our service employee Camilo was super friendly, very accommodating and simply one of the most likeable people we have met in a long time. Every employee there is very friendly. The food was simply incredibly good. I remember the Hard Rock Cafe from Aschaffenburg in the 89's. Our conclusion: Absolutely recommended

Visit on August 9th, 2024. Unfortunately a disappointment. Food completely overpriced for what was offered. Hygienic conditions need improvement, especially in the washrooms. Therefore no recommendation.

Like all Hard Rock Cafés, but this was our first time alone in an HR Cafe. The service was super nice and we finally had the jumbo combo plate again. I can't understand why it was taken off the menu for most HRs. The shop is very small and unfortunately there were no more magnets, which really annoyed me as a collector. The Twin Guitar shirts were also no longer available in my size. Nice location, you can look directly at the sea from the terrace.

I was pretty disappointed with the food. Not enough fries and they were also too salty. The burger was tasty, but could have been a little bigger. The service and ambience, however, were cool.

We were here during the week in July 2024. It was easy to get a table without a reservation. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak German and some didn't even speak English. I don't know that from other branches. It took quite a while before we even got tickets and then even longer before we could order - even though the store wasn't full. The food was, as usual, first class. Overall, we were satisfied, but the service can still be improved to make it an all-round perfect experience, which is what I expect from Hard Rock.

I hate to say it, but everything used to be better. There was sometimes hip hop music playing, which is not possible in the Hard Rock Cafe. The food was good. We had the nachos to share. The restaurant is very small, with some very tight seating. The tables for two in particular are borderline narrow. The staff was very friendly and attentive. However, nobody speaks German. Otherwise, as usual, a cool atmosphere

The food has really gone down hill. I always recommended the burgers here. Especially for the flame grilled taste and how the waiter/waitress would ask if you wanted the meat medium or well done. On my last visit my burger was not fresh at all. Luke warm patty and stale burger bun that needed to be chewed for what felt like an eternity and just no taste at all. Also a 5 Euro increase ( like everywhere else) however if the prices are increasing, please keep the standard of quality. Sorry Hard Rock i wont be coming again.

High prices, reasonable portions, great taste and service

I happened to pass the Hard Rock Cafe and of course I wanted to go in. But it was very busy in the restaurant, so I "only" went to the shop. And I really would have missed something. Pierre is so incredibly nice and sweet, I've actually never experienced anything like that in a store. We had a great time and of course I bought a souvenir or two. Treat him well, you really have a gem in your shop. Kind regards to Pierre from the woman with the license bear 🥳

I had an excellent experience at Hard Rock Café Cologne! The food was good, and the atmosphere lovely. I purchased a two-course set menu through Get Your Guide witch included a main, dessert and a soft drink (but you can get a three-corse meal if desired on the website), also available on Viator, which was a great deal. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. I highly recommend it for a fun and delicious dining experience, plus you will be able to see all rockstars clothes and guitars. Of course I couldn't leve without a souvenir, no T-shirt this time as we're too expensive (around €35/40 one) but got my self few pins. Definitely recommend as always

A very good HardRock Café! One of the best operations and services I have experienced. Even a small complaint was addressed immediately and the shift manager took great care of us!! We'd love to come back.

Didn’t allow to get inside with cat. In 2024, in Europe, to be not pet-friendly - it is a shame.

Typical rock bar, restless and loud music, not so nice for a cozy meal. Prices were very high, but the nacho plate was excellent and enough for 2 people. Wings with BBQ sauce very tasty.

Good point to see parades, whether it's a pride march or carnival.

Really unfriendly guy welcomed us tá the entrance, saying we needed to wait at the entrance to get a table, even though my father already told another waitress about it, when we were at the shop. They also didn't let us be at the tables because the kitchen was close, but we just wanted to take some drinks, still didn't let us, inflexible people, would not recommend.

A Hard Rock Cafe like all the others in this chain... Didn't eat anything there, just bought the obligatory T-shirt 👕... Overpriced as usual, but one collector accepts the prices... 🤷 Otherwise a visit is not absolutely necessary. There are cheaper and possibly better burger restaurants...

Disappointment for big HRC fans 9th Hard Rock Café (USA, England and Europe) for my husband and I so we know the chain very, very well. Reservation by telephone because reservation on the site is impossible. Icy, directive and expeditious telephone reception without the usual polite expressions. We came as a family, 8 of us, with our baby. My parents' dogs (2 little Yorkshires) were not accepted, we were coldly offered the terrace, which was not even installed, in full sun without parasols or shade with an 8 month old baby.... So we made other arrangements for the dogs and had lunch inside. Arriving inside, the atmosphere and welcome were still icy. We were told that when there was a baby (who was eating a small pot) it was necessary to “warn us next time” for “the organization of the room” while the downstairs room was almost EMPTY and the upstairs room was empty ! We really felt like we were “disturbing” While once again the room was almost empty, the staff had plenty of time and space to take care of us properly. A dish had been forgotten in the order and the other dishes did not all arrive at the same time, with a few minutes of delay between each dish, not nice when you want to eat hot and all at the same time. Our table was under the air conditioning, I asked to lower it or turn it off for our 8 month old baby, the waiter told us “we cannot”. Oddly, the team seemed more cheerful and friendly with the German customers (even though we all made the effort to speak English (even though we are French and we don't speak German at all) However, we were smiling and polite, we had driven 1h30 on purpose to come to HRC in Cologne, returning from our stay in the Netherlands, we just wanted to have a nice time with family, I don't understand such a welcome... From a meal quality point of view, with the same menu obviously, we have seen much better in other HRCs… We were not asked if the meal went well, nor if we wanted dessert or coffee. In the other HRCs that we have visited we have always benefited from an absolutely brilliant customer experience (shop and restaurant) that is warm and friendly, which is what makes HRC so charming. The HRC in Cologne is not at all up to the mark. Visit the shop as usual, saleswoman a little nicer than in the restaurant but not up to HRC either. First and last time for us. If you want to have a really nice time at HRC, go to New York, London or even Paris for example, there you will have the real HRC experience!!

One of the worse Hard Rock Cafes! Starting with the far too narrow seating options. The service is constantly bumping into the chairs. If you want to go to the toilet yourself, you feel like you're in a labyrinth. Unfortunately the food was below average. The baby back rips were the worst I've ever had in an HRC (lukewarm and burnt, an absolute disaster for €28). Unfortunately I couldn't ask the service about it because he didn't come by in between. You have the feeling that you are being processed quickly here. All in all, I will avoid this HRC in the future and cannot recommend it.

I don't remember the last time I ate such a bad burger. The meat was dry and tasteless, the cheese tasted like plastic. They make up for it with drinks, they are tasty although the price is a bit excessive. The decor is like in every Hard Rock Cafe. We came across an artist's performance. It was so loud I couldn't hear my own thoughts, let alone what my partner was saying.

Were here for dinner in mid-June 2024 to bridge the waiting time for a concert. Unfortunately I have to say that this is not a good Hard Rock Cafe. Burger was rather lukewarm and had no real taste, service wasn't quite up to par, the nice smaller gentleman at the reception was great, the rest... well. Having been to several Hard Rock Cafes around the globe I have to say that this was the worst Hard Rock Cafe experience so far. Too bad.....

Only been there for cocktails; Wait five minutes until you are received. No space left for eating on a Monday evening, just drinking - no problem in our case. Ordered a Hurricane each at happy hour, the service was very nice, but that was it. We had to wait almost half an hour for the cocktails, several employees were constantly wandering around, mostly towards the kitchen, some coming out without food, all with questioning and hectic looks on their faces. The cocktail itself... disgusting. It tasted almost exclusively like sweet syrup, we weren't even a third of the way through it. We felt sick afterwards too, so all in all it was a really terrible experience. In the end two stars because of the friendly service.

Nice atmosphere and staff, although almost only English speaking. Unfortunately, the furnishings are getting old, especially when you look behind the counter. Poor quality sound (low bit rate for MP3s?) and speakers that are way too big 🫣 Still an iconic place to stay.

Absolutely recommended. Amazing atmosphere, good music and great memorabilia on the walls. Food and drinks were a 10/10. Nachos with guacamole as appetizers are a must. We had the salmon and the steak cobb salad. Everything was delicious!

I recently had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe Cologne with four children. The burger dishes were excellent and the service was very friendly and quick. I am also very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. I paid €118 for five people including tips. Everyone had two drinks. I think for €23 per person you can't complain. There was a certain holiday feeling. We'd love to come back.

I expected more. At times the music was anything but rock music, which bothered me a bit. The service was okay and so was the food. But I don't need it again now. Once our order was forgotten.

very good hard rock cafe. Service was great. Food as you know it but prepared exactly as it should be. There are currently em burgers that are certainly worth a look. As always, the location is on the edge of the pedestrian zone and there are 2 parking garages right next door. The shop is manageable with standard items, a few were currently sold out in different sizes.

We booked a tour through Mydays followed by a three-course meal. The tour was great, but the food afterwards was a disappointment. The service only spoke English and I didn't understand any English at all, and they didn't make any effort to communicate with me. Because we booked on Mydays we were able to choose from 7 dishes. I took the BBQ chicken with seasonal vegetables. I asked the waitress what vegetables you get, it said beans with onions with peppers and broccoli. However, I only got the beans with a piece of chicken that was overcooked with cold fries. When I asked, my husband (he speaks English) spoke to the manager and said the waitress had made a mistake and at the moment there were only beans. They then took my plate with them to bring me a new piece of meat and the rest. Unfortunately, this again took a long time, so my husband had long since finished his meal. All in all not so good, I would never want to go there voluntarily again.

For our surprise (we visited a lot of HRC) this one was dissapointing....bad service,not nice waitress, bad food... We left in 45 minutes, left half of our food..

The food was okay for me, although the patty was completely over salted. The fries were as they should be. The waiters are very nice and humorous, but they mostly only speak English. But the ambience brought out a lot. You don't even have to like the music to feel comfortable there!!

Wirklich schade. Sollte ein schöner Auftakt zu einem Junggesellenabschied sein.

A bit busy and a very small gift shop. But the menu did have very tasty food

We were greeted by Pedro who was absolutely great! Super friendly and hardworking while the restaurant was pretty busy - chatting to guests, making sure everyone was seated, running round clearing tables and all with a smile. Our server Timur and the manager were friendly and helpful too. Definitely not the cheapest HRC - €10 for a mocktail seems very expensive. The Mac and cheese was good although not the best when compared to ones I have had in other HRCs (less sauce and toppings than usual). The garlic bread was a little disappointing. The atmosphere, memorabilia and music was good. The menu was quite limited and there were no spring rolls which was disappointing. I then saw that spring rolls were available for takeaway only so popped back at lunch the next day to order some and was told there was a 1.5 hour wait for takeaway (this was during the Euros tournament).

Longer waiting time. Finally a coke (made syrup). Wash up the syrup! Waited some time, eventually left without drinks.

Dear team from Hard Rock Cafe Cologne, unfortunately that was nothing. We were in the area on Monday evening and wanted to eat at your place. We knew it was the European Championships in our own country and therefore it could be more crowded. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible to make reservations online, which we had always done. At reception we were told that there were no free tables. We were informed that the wait was approximately 45 minutes. We then went to the bar to pass the waiting time and have something to drink. After 45 minutes and several guests who came after us but got a table before us, we asked when we would be ready? The gentleman at reception then said that he would ask the boss. He then came back and said “he didn’t have a table free”. Everyone who got there before us all had a reservation. Of course I can understand that a table with 3 people generates more sales than a table with 2 people. We then left again because they couldn't tell us how long it would take. We have always enjoyed staying with you in the past. There will be a time after the European Championships when your store will no longer be so well attended, and you would like to have guests come who have always enjoyed visiting you. We won't be there anymore. A pity This is my personal experience and therefore cannot be generalized.

I will definitely give this place 5 stars in every city I visit, they have not disappointed me, it maintains the same flavor and even feels more and more pleasant, very good portion...

The Hard Rock Café was my savior in an emergency last night. I rely on a disabled toilet and the one at Heumarkt was broken. The staff at the café was super nice and kindly showed me to the toilet.

You know the Hard Rock restaurant and store. I bought some souvenirs with a nice concept. If you are interested, you can stop by in Cologne.

We visited the Hard Rock cafe in Cologne on the day of the Scotland v Switzerland game on June 19th. Ironically we were situated at a lovely Italian restaurant/ cafe round the corner having drinks with friends. It was also very busy but was coping. We should have stayed there. Our reservation was for 3pm. On arrival there was a slight wait to be shown to our table. No issue. The issues began when we were seated. Unsurprisingly the restaurant was almost full. I counted the staff downstairs and there must have been 3 or 4 serving. Had we not got the waiters attention we would still be there today ! Drinks and food order took around 30 minutes. Food to arrive another 30. Then the mains around another 20 mins. So actually well over an hour from when we sat down. What was worse was they got the order wrong. My 2 friends ordered the Chicken Messi burgers and they brought beef burgers. My food was actually good. I assume they had staffing issues. But if so why take in so many people ? I was at Wilma Wunder in Dusseldorf the following day and they had over 12 staff waiting on half as many people as the Hard Rock Cafe. We met another family with 3 kids and they said it took them 1.5 x 2 hours before they got their food. I don’t doubt when they get things right they are a decent restaurant. But our experience and that of many others that day was poor.

After I let the first meal go back because it was too cold, it was fine. So friendly. Somehow too few staff due to the European Championships. They tried hard, but you have to say that since Corona, the quality of the dishes has decreased significantly, no matter where! The portions have now shrunk, which no longer justifies the prices. A pity...

Nice ambience, nice staff and a nice little shop. Every Hard Rock Cafe is an experience in itself.
