Hard Rock Cafe in Köln

The best Hard Rock Cafe we’ve ever been to! Thankyou to Lilly and Turfan for making my birthday so special. Food was lovely but experience made by the staff.

Nothing remarkable if you like Hard Rock food you will like it but the decoration is very average and it was quite hot, The service is good as always at Hard Rock,

Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne really impressed us! We had a refreshing Gin Tonic and a perfectly mixed Negroni, which both complemented the pleasant atmosphere of the place. For food, we tried the tortillas filled with juicy chicken and fresh vegetables — they were well-seasoned and the portion was really satisfying. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and quick, which made our afternoon visit even more enjoyable. We recommend it to anyone looking for good food, great drinks, and that unmistakable rock vibe right in the heart of Cologne! 🎸🍹🌮

We spontaneously got a free table outside, and we didn't regret it. The food was delicious. The service was hesitant but very friendly. The prices were on the higher end. We found it strange that the staff only spoke English with guests. We can recommend it.

A perfect afternoon at HRC Cologne. A warm welcome at the entrance and friendly staff throughout. The service was first-class. Good music in a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The burgers were very good and the drinks were cold. All in all, a successful stay.

We had reserved the Gold Menu and a table in advance. After 45 minutes, our order was finally taken—after asking the restaurant manager. The waitress completely ignored us and others before. We got ourselves a drink from the bar after 35 minutes. Unfortunately, the fries were dry and partially burnt, and the sauce from the (lukewarm) dry burger was a 5-cent-sized stain in the middle. Ketchup/mayonnaise arrived after a few minutes at our request. The coffee for dessert arrived quite quickly—the brownie was served with a large fork after the coffee had already been finished, so as not to let it cool completely. All in all, an absolute flop and a disappointment compared to several satisfactory previous visits...

You'll receive a very friendly welcome and the staff is courteous. The food is delicious 😋. There's beer 🍺, wine 🍷, and cocktails 🍸. The restroom 🚽 is clean. The entrance is handicapped accessible. There are plenty of municipal parking spaces. You can also park at Heumarkt. You should stop here for a drink or a bite to eat more than once. Greetings from the Bergisches Land.

Ive been to quite a few hard rocks around the USA, this being the first one in another country. I sadly cant remember our servers name, however he was absolutely AMAZING (by FAR the best server ive had in my entire life without a doubt). He was an absolute pleasure to be served by, and absolutely made the day for me and my dad. He asked to get a photo with our tattoos, so ive included that. It was awesome getting to talk to him about tattoos and breaking bad. He genuinely made our day In Germany, and I would travel back to Colonge just to have him as a server again. To the management, PLEASE keep this guy around. He made the expierence 10x better than any place we've eaten at during our trip to Europe, and me and my dad left with absolutely huge smiles on our faces. Thanks again!!! 20/10 would recommend this hard rock and server!!!

We went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Cologne with our children. We've always been satisfied, but unfortunately not today. As soon as we entered, we were literally silenced in English. There was no opportunity to say or object. Another waiter came to our table. When I asked if he spoke German, he said he didn't. The second waiter took our order, not a friendly hello, nothing. The drinks arrived, more crushed ice than the contents of the ordered drink. Then the food arrived. My son and I had a burger with cheese and bacon. The burger was cold, which was noticeable, and the fries were too salty and, unfortunately, cold as well. Dear Hard Rock Team Cologne, unfortunately, it wasn't that great with you. Your waiters should accept that not everyone speaks English.

Very friendly staff, I have rarely eaten such a good burger, a bit expensive, but you are definitely full afterwards, a clear recommendation!

The burgers we ate were delicious, only one of our orders was forgotten and arrived late. Other than that, they were all delicious.

40 minutes for a cocktail is unacceptable! The staff chatters behind the bar, and the Indian employees know absolutely nothing about what's on the menu! The place stinks like a sewer/drain. Sorry, I'd look for new employees or a new manager. This is unacceptable.

It is always an experience to be at the Hard Rock Cafe.

Everything was wonderful. The food, interior, waiters taking care of customers, attitude of waiters etc... Expecially Tufan, who welcomed us, and Simon, who works in the market section, were very attentive. If I hadn't forgotten the name of the waiter who took care of us, I would have mentioned him too. It's definitely worth going.

Estaba aquí con mi compañero. Teníamos una reserva a las 6: 00 PM para la cena. El restaurante es como uno esperaría de una cafetería Hard Rock. Acogedor decorado con varios atributos que hacen referencia a leyendas del rock / pop del presente y el pasado. A mi pareja no le gusta la cebolla, así que se lo indicamos de antemano. La camarera, y más tarde un colega, vino a nosotros especialmente para discutir esto. Realmente apreciamos esto. Como entrada, teníamos los legendarios nachos y alitas de pollo con salsa BBQ para compartir. Como plato principal, mi compañero tenía el pollo BBQ y yo la hamburguesa picante diablo. En términos de cantidad, subestimamos el entrante. Para dos personas, un tazón grande de nachos y alitas era un poco demasiado bueno para nosotros (aunque muy sabroso! ). En el plato principal, en realidad ya estábamos bastante llenos. La hamburguesa era aparentemente pequeña, pero considerando nuestro entrante, esto fue suficiente para mí. Era una sabrosa hamburguesa. También recibí bastantes papas fritas con la hamburguesa, que no terminé. El pollo de mi compañero era sabroso por fuera (piel), un poco seco por dentro. Con el plato principal nos dieron un plato principal equivocado (el pollo). Se ofrecieron disculpas y en 5-10 minutos el plato principal correcto estaba sobre la mesa. Después nos ofrecieron las disculpas de nuevo e incluso nos ofrecieron un descuento en el importe total. En total gastamos 90 euros, incluyendo bebidas. Esta es una cantidad que puedes esperar con una cena fuera. En general, una buena experiencia. ¿Volveríamos? Si

The food was truly delicious, and the burgers are especially highly recommended. And the atmosphere is simply amazing – cool decor with lots of rock memorabilia, really stylish and cozy at the same time. A must for anyone who enjoys good food and a special atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Excellent welcome and service and it was very nice of them to acknowledge our daughter’s birthday! In fact even the customers were great also singing happy birthday to her too but that’s what we love about the Hard Rock Cafe and the people that go there ❤️ Food arrived promptly and was great. It’s not the biggest of venues and has a small Rock Shop but you can still find your favourites.

The food was good. Unfortunately, the service was not at all. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait half an hour for a table. Almost another half hour before we could order. And almost another half an hour for our drinks. When we got our food, we had to ask two employees for cutlery until we were given greasy cutlery.

Wir waren im Souvenir-Shop und wurden von dem bezaubernden Pierre super gut versorgt und bedient. Er ist ein Schatz für die Boutique und wir werden uns immer gerne an den Besuch dort erinnern.

It was a great experience. A place I saved to visit in Cologne and I'm glad I came. The prices are the same as other businesses in Cologne. The employees speak most languages. Cleanliness, manners, fast service are also nice. The prices for souvenirs are at a normal level. I recommend it.

Very friendly staff, and we were informed that dogs have recently been allowed. The food was excellent, and the drinks and desserts were also impeccable.

I ordered a burger and fries. Nothing really fancy or special, just decent quality. Soda comes in a big glass and also has free refills, which is nice. The best thing about this place is the service. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. 10/10 recommend!

We just stopped in for a drink. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We really enjoyed it. It was just a bit cramped... difficult to get through the tables.

As a long-time HRC fan, I always love being at "my" HRC Cologne. The quality has always been consistently high for many, many years. Unfortunately, the prices are also much higher today than they were back then. But all in all, always an experience ;)

The food was ok but they didn't have the pretzel starter! In Germany! What the hell? Service wasn't great, they didn't seem happy to be there and I told them on booking that it was my partners 40th birthday and they did nothing to make it special. In most hard rocks I've been to and I've been to a lot everyone's customer service is exceptional. They are happy the atmosphere is busy and fun and when you tell them it's your birthday they get everyone together to wish happy birthday and I believe you usually get a discount. To say this hard rock is lacking is an understatement. Such a shame and I feel bad for my partner because I wanted it to be special for him 😞 Hi we were there on Sunday the 11th May and the booking was for 6:30

Good food So-so service The atmosphere was okay, but a little less warm than what you'd expect from Hard Rocks. The service hardly spoke German... A bit dreary and very empty, quiet atmosphere on a weekday. The prices for the food were reasonable.

The Hard Rock in Cologne isn't very big, but it's very cozy, which makes it truly charming. We each had a beer and wings as a snack. Absolutely delicious! P.S. The young man who greeted us was really great, as was the service, top-notch!

A nice Hard Rock Cafe with the typical decor and the typical menu. The service and food were consistently good. The ambiance is also nice, but we've experienced more impressive ones at other Hard Rock Cafes. If you like Hard Rock Cafes, you can definitely go to this one and have a good meal there. The location is also really good and central.

I was back after 10 years. This restaurant group isn't what it used to be. I left after an hour of pop music and overpriced, mass-produced food without even a leaf of lettuce to be seen. They're trying to cater to the pop generation as customers who don't give a damn about where they eat. The staff, however, were very attentive, but the bottom line is: Never again. A shame.

I don't like giving bad reviews but unfortunately this time I have to. Our visit to the Hard Rock Café in Cologne was an absolute failure. The one star is for the staff, who were really very friendly. Drinks: Overpriced and nothing special. If you want to drink one of the special lemonades you pay €9 for a glass (0.4 or 0.5 liters, I can't quite remember). Doesn't taste particularly good, sometimes just like orange juice. After all, a bottle of water for €6.50 is fine. Starters: We ordered the nachos and shrimp. The nachos were OK, not special. For €12, very economical when it comes to toppings (beans, jalapeños, etc.). The shrimp was seasoned but terribly oversalted. I couldn't eat the shrimp on its own, only with a tortilla chip it didn't taste too salty. The coleslaw underneath was okay, again not great. Mains: The mains were terrible. We had a chicken sandwich with fries and the mac ‘n cheese with a breadstick and chicken breast. When the food arrived it was lukewarm. The chicken sandwich was made with a dry (presumably old) burger bun, the chicken itself had no taste. It was not marinated or seasoned with salt/pepper. The breading wasn't crispy, but rather soggy from the sauce. It is common knowledge that if you plan to soak something in sauce, you have to fry it twice. The sauce was supposed to be spicy - but it wasn't. Overall, there was far too little sauce, so the chicken sandwich was far too dry. Taste was generally lacking. After about five bites, the breading has come off the chicken. The fries were ok, but not seasoned with salt/pepper and not crispy. Even worse than the chicken sandwich were the mac ‘n cheese. The pasta was not served with sauce, but with dried cheese. Very very salty, hardly edible. The chicken breast was dry and tasteless. The bread for the breadstick was obviously old. It was dry and inedible. We couldn't finish both main courses because they simply tasted too bad. I don't mind spending a lot of money on food as long as it tastes good, but €81 for the worst food I've eaten in a long time is way too much for me. The evening after and the next morning we were plagued by stomach pains. So my conclusion is: If you're planning on eating American food, it's best to go to McDonald's or KFC. The food tastes much better there, it's much cheaper, and the stomach ache afterwards is just as bad as after the Hard Rock Café.

Good music, good food. I've enjoyed going to Hard Rock Cafes for years. The food is always good, the music is good, and the staff is great. I also recommend the cafe in Cologne. It's conveniently located in the city center and easy to reach. It's always worth a visit.
