An absolute outrage. I paid almost €30 and got fries that were bone dry with a sauce that looked like it had expired. It was disgusting. I can't even describe how revolting those fries looked and tasted. The baguette had three pieces of meat in it, practically nothing. No sauce whatsoever. The whole meal was so dry. And simply inedible.

That was a complete disappointment. I waited 20 minutes for my sub, which I felt was incredibly long. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the wrong sub, as the cook informed me. I didn't get a free drink or anything else. What a shame. Regardless, it had nothing to do with a Philly Cheese Steak. It was more like a Sloppy Joe. It's a shame, especially after all the hype; I was expecting much more.

I went there once with my friends, and we walked in on a whim because we were hungry. I was initially worried it wouldn't taste good because there weren't any other customers in the restaurant when we arrived (we were a bit late). But don't let that fool you. We had the steak in bread, and it was a 10/10. Absolutely delicious. Worth every penny. We'd go back anytime. The staff were also very friendly.

The food looks like it's worth a visit, and the constantly packed place tempted me to stop by. The atmosphere is cool, and the place was busy, as expected. I ordered two steak sandwiches, each with a different topping and sauce. The taste was pretty okay. For what was supposed to be a cheesesteak, there wasn't enough cheese for me personally. The steak, however, was much worse. It was cut into thin slices and apparently overcooked. Conclusion: pure rubber. A real shame. Maybe I'll give the chicken another chance. Prices are normal by today's standards. P.S. At the checkout, you'll be informed that you get a drink in exchange for a positive Google review. Perhaps you'll get a positive review or two from here, too. I also initially gave full points in the store to get the drink and have now adjusted accordingly after consuming it.

I was recently at Bang Bang in Cologne and was absolutely thrilled – a real highlight for lovers of juicy, American comfort food! The Philly cheesesteak here is truly first-class: tender rib-eye steak on a soft, slightly sweet brioche bun, creamy cheese, and roasted onions and peppers – perfectly seasoned and lovingly presented. The "Bang Bang Shrimp" also surprised me – nice and crispy, well-seasoned, with a sauce that wasn't overpowering but perfectly complemented the flavor. If you're looking for good, hearty food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a bit of fun while eating – I highly recommend Bang Bang. I'll definitely be back!

A nice place, more fun for young people

I ended up there by chance and found it to be excellent. You can easily order everything without cheese if you don't like it. The sandwich and potatoes were excellent in every way, so I can wholeheartedly recommend a visit and will most certainly return as soon as possible. A friendly, personable owner who lived in the States himself. If you haven't tried it yet and have been thinking about it, it's worth doing HERE.

Unfortunately disappointed. The assumption that if a place specializes in Philly cheesesteaks, they must also taste amazing isn't true here. The bread is too thick at the beginning. You practically have to squeeze the bread to enjoy a full bite. The bread itself is pretty good, though, and tastes like a good brioche. However, I don't understand why they make the opening for the meat at the top. I would have preferred a more classic look, as the problem here is that the ends are just bread. Secondly, the meat, or rather the meat and cheese mixture, is nothing special. It doesn't taste particularly good or bad; it's just OK. Also, we couldn't taste any of our sauce. The sriracha garlic sauce is either way too weak or it was completely forgotten. On the plus side, the drinks stand offers old-school, non-refillable drinks. Plus, the place looks great, and the music is awesome. On the other hand, the food is so incredibly unspectacular that I can't understand all the hype at all.

It was my first time there and I'll definitely keep it that way. First of all, the service was very unfriendly. When I wanted advice on how to order or what menus, meat, etc. they offered, the man was very unfriendly. He kept looking away and talking so quickly that I could barely understand anything. He seemed very annoyed and impatient, like, "Order something now!" The place was empty, and there was no line for orders, so his impatience was understandable. Nevertheless, since I felt very pressured, I ordered something that caught my eye. The food was okay, but too expensive for the price, and the portions were small. Drinks were self-service, and this wasn't explained to me. I had to search for where to get drinks from the fridge or the dispenser. The tables are very small, and the chairs are uncomfortable. Once and never again.

Let's start with the most important thing. The food was unfortunately overhyped. I was really excited to finally eat at Bang Bang, but it was a bit disappointing. I ordered the toast and the sandwich. Both were lacking seasoning. After adding salt, it was about a 7/10. I don't know if it was the cheese, but my stomach felt bad afterward. I had very unpleasant cramps. The next morning, I ate the leftovers from the evening before, and that confirmed it was the Bang Bang food. I wouldn't come back for that reason alone. The people were nice, though, I have to say. Very friendly despite the stress. The location has an American feel, which matches the menu. Personally, I find it too garish. That's why we sat outside. I'll never understand the influencers who hype the whole place. Unfortunately, it was disappointing for me.

Respect! Even as someone who might not fit the average age of the usual visitors, you are warmly welcomed as such. Based on my preliminary research, it was clear what I wanted to try. So it didn't matter that I was stressed by the stylish ambiance, as I'm hardly familiar with such places. Unfortunately, I've never had another Philly cheeseburger steak sandwich... but it was definitely a different experience. Sometimes you just need something fatty, without salad, and healthy... and then it's just right. Before I visit conventional fast food chains again, I'll be back ;) Excellent value for money and no unpleasant after-effects ;)

Interesting sandwich (€12), just not that tasty. The fried shrimp (€6.50) don't even come in a bowl. They also ask for tips, even though there aren't even any servers. The place is very small and stuffy, making it difficult to sit as a group.

The bread for the Philly cheese steak was very soft, which I personally don't like. Unfortunately, I could barely taste the meat, as I could mostly only taste the sauce and cheese. Overall, it didn't make a bad impression, but the taste wasn't my personal preference.
