GREEN SMOKE Cologne in Köln

Ordered spare ribs, but received 3 large ribs (pieces of meat), instead of a piece of ribs marinated small ribs together which I normally get in restaurants. Not for me to repeat this way. But maybe just in Germany this way?

Super nice restaurant. Unfortunately a little hidden but worth eating afterwards. Service was A1! Food was absolutely delicious. I can only recommend it to everyone.

If I could, I would give it more than 5 stars. An absolute insider tip, a bit hidden in a hotel, but it's worth it. The food is really great, four of us had the all you can eat BBQ today, we have rarely eaten so well. The service is also absolutely great. Thank you very much for the lovely evening

Huge portions, very tasty. Groupon deals highly recommended. The Green Smoke plate was very nice. Delicious side dishes and a good beer-of-the-month IPA on tap. As long as the deals are this good, we'll be back. :)

Hey guys, it was our first time there and it was great! Food really tasty and well prepared!!! It may be the case for some guests a little too loud, but like everything else, A matter of opinion! Also the service, very attentive!! We'll probably go there again 😀

Although the shop was really empty at 8:30 p.m., when I asked about a nicer place to be seated, the waiter with the long beard replied very rudely: "No, there are no tables of four for single people!" To my reply, Because there was still enough space at this late hour, he said: "I won't do that as a matter of principle." Because of that and because of his unfriendly manner, I left the restaurant as quickly as possible and will never go there again. I would have understood it if it had happened during peak meal time or when the shop was full, but treating guests rudely later in the evening on pointless principles and thereby driving them away is simply not acceptable. Greetings to the manager, who has a nice placement, but when the team screws it up massively it's all too late.

Definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, larger groups may experience staggered eating times. However, each table is served at a timed rate.

I was passing through and had a meal here with a voucher (the menu isn't on the menu) and I booked quite spontaneously and got a place. Advantage of traveling alone. I liked it very much and found the smoke aroma to be very good. I also had Cole Slow and Mac n Cheese was okay and I also had the option to choose a draft beer from this voucher menu, there's even an IPA. The service was friendly and also asked if everything was OK or if you would like something to drink. You should be aware that it can take longer, especially if there are larger groups present, as was the case this evening. I had my meat platter very quickly. I would say solid performance. The only thing that bothered me was the sitting on top of each other and the fact that, contrary to the description, I wasn't allowed to choose my own dips.

Very good We had the 500grams ribeye and smoked ribs with grilled potatos and salad on the side.. everything was excellent I found the smokey flavour is bit too much for me so next time id order non smoked ribs but overall excellent

Definitely recommended for meat lovers. "The Upgrade" is a combination of a number of high-quality cuts of meat. Reservations are recommended!

Very good BBQ, upper price level

We lived in the Lindner and the great advertising for the Green Smoke BBQ in the house really appealed to us and we reserved a table here. When we arrived no one knew where our table was - apparently the service manager then led us to a table. We were then able to study the menu for a full 20-30 minutes, just as we were about to leave someone came and we ate there after all. The burgers were very good and tasty. We only got drinks twice - the second time we ordered the bill straight away. From the food - although it had little to do with a real American BBQ smoke - we would go here again. The service was a disaster, no overview, no customer interest and no one knew where they were. The young man at the counter and a friendly young lady were the exceptions. Otherwise we would have given the service a 6 that evening!

Everything was delicious, great service, nice location, we'll be back. We had the Smash Burger and the Allstar Burger with sweet potato fries and mushrooms, respectively, with Büble wheat and Drunken Sailor IPA. The apricot mayo was also great.

Very nice restaurant with nice cellars and very tasty food

Greensmokecologne has a great selection of food. The meat was cooked in the smoker, so everything was very tender. We liked the side dishes very much, from coleslaw to sweet potato fries to fried potatoes - everything was deliciously seasoned and well prepared. For a perfect rating, we would have liked a more well-rehearsed service team and, in our opinion, the ambience of the house should have been a little warmer and more loving. Overall, the Greensmokecologne doesn't do anything wrong, we liked it.

Unfortunately we were in Green Smoke by chance. Came across this on the internet, the website says "best restaurant nearby for steaks, ribs and hamburgers." Unfortunately we cannot confirm this at all. Meat very tough and not marinated well. The steak was not medium rare and fibrous, with a pile of mud as a hamburger. Service tried hard but totally inexperienced and stressed. But the long waiting time, extremely high prices and really small portions. Others can do this much tastier, cheaper and faster.

Had a great experience at this restaurant. Arrived during the week, quite late (+-20.45h) at the restaurant without reservation. Very friendly staf took me dorectlyto my table. The menu has a good variety, on both food and drinks. I chose the mix ribs plate (Spare ribs (St. Louis style ribs and Beef ribs), which were very, very tasty. 👍🏻 Certainly a restaurant i would recommend i. Cologne! 👍🏻

It took a long time for the food to arrive, but it was great! We also received extremely friendly service. The music was exactly my taste (The Offspring).

We got a table without a reservation and were greeted so nicely by the service. The food was extremely good, I've rarely had such a great burger and such crispy fries. It certainly wasn't the last time I was there.

Beef ribs were good, pork ribs were fine, but service was poor. One shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes or so for a drink; especially when the place isn't busy! Had I not made it clear to the server that my patience had run out, we probably wouldn't have gotten our drinks at all. Judging from other reviews, this probably isn't the norm, but thought I'd post this so that you know it's not all sunshine and rainbows here.

The restaurant in the Lindner (Hyatt) hotell is an open space with a busy atmosphere. The theme is smoked - hence the name. A steak will undergo preparations that takes 45 min to serve. We had a mixed rib plate and a burger wich was served within minutes. Simple presentation, great tasting - greasy & smoked as one should expect. Fair $$.

Apart from salad, there are no vegan dishes on the menu. Anyone who wants to eat meat is certainly well served here. There are three beers on tap. The service was friendly and in a good mood.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the all-you-can-eat buffet and I absolutely love it! The service was friendly and personable. The team greeted us with a smile and were always attentive and helpful without being intrusive. You can tell that there are real professionals at work here who want to make their guests happy. And the quality of the food? Simply great! A real culinary delight for every BBQ lover! All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant. For us it was a total failure! Portions way too small. Spareribs were not crispy, but too fatty and not fried enough. There was also a tiny little Cole Slow for €25.90! impudence. The portions of the other dishes were also too small for the prices, so we weren't even really full. One dish was cold and the staff seemed very stressed, overwhelmed and disorganized at times. We cannot recommend the place and wish we had gone somewhere else. It is also very loud in the restaurant.
