Very good price and very well done

Outstanding. I visited Cologne on business and my partner tagged along to visit the city along with me. Green Smoke stood out even on the maps so we booked last minute for a 9pm visit. The entrance is a bit hidden, at least at this time - the road leading there is poorly lit and there are some characters lurking about. However, on entry Sky and her colleague were brilliant, not over bearing, friendly and wore a smile even that late in the day. We ordered two Allstar burgers, rum and some whisky each to wash it down with and the food was exceptional just out of burger. The beef is cooked to your preference and the onions and relish were perfect. I am visiting again in August and will definitely set time aside to return to Green Smoke and give the smoked steak a try if they’re able to make a burger that tasty.

We had the St. Louis cut spare ribs and the corn-fed chicken breast. I ordered them smoked on recommendation and was more than impressed. The ribs and chicken breast were cooked to perfection and tasted AMAZING. Also try the homemade smoked butter with bread, simply wow. The service is super friendly and helpful. A top recommendation from me is the homemade smoked lemonade, it's amazing. It won't be the last time we go there. For me, one of the best BBQ restaurants in Cologne.

I imagined more with the name. Stayed in the Lindner Hotel in the city center, quite a cool atmosphere, nothing to do with smoke or BBQ. The Texas burger had no smoke flavor and the fried egg was dry. The cheese sauce on the Mac & Cheese was grainy. When asked, they said the kitchen always does it that way. The mac & cheese was kindly taken off the bill. According to my son, the coleslaw is better even at KFC. The waitress was probably a former Köbes, at least his loud and gruff manner. When asked whether American beer was also on offer, they loudly announced that you couldn't drink a "drink" like Budweiser. Was my first and last visit.

We had the all you can eat BBQ for around 50 euros per person. It was absolutely worth the price. There was no overabundance of side dishes, but the ones that were offered tasted impeccably. The highlight was of course the BBQ. Ribs Beef ribs Pulled pork Corn chicken Was always there. There were also various steak cuts in rotation. From flank to ribeye, everything was there. This was rounded off with a very nice and courteous service. We were thrilled and will definitely be a guest again.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, tolles Fleisch und ein schönes Ambiente. Leider saßen wir direkt an einem Lautsprecher, es war sehr laut. Erst im Nachhinein haben wir gemerkt wie laut es eigentlich war. Egal, das Essen war sehr gut und uns hat es gefallen.

Not recommended!! Arrogant man throws the menu card on the table and makes us wait 25 minutes. An employee was standing behind the bar and thought his phone was more important than the customers. He came to ask if we wanted something to drink. We indicated that we wanted to order food. Answer: moment. And goes back to the bar to play with his phone. After 5 minutes I got up and paid, the gentleman told me that everything took too long, but suddenly he no longer understood English. Now we are at Oma's Küche, highly recommended! Green smoke manage your staff and invest in your customers. Oh yes, and make sure there is more choice in soft drinks... they only have still water, the rest is sparkling. Music choice was also not optimal.. rock music..

I was there yesterday with my husband. The food, whether hamburger or steak, was super delicious! Very friendly (2 young ladies) wait staff, top service from the boss himself. I praise myself when the boss is so competent, responds openly to the guests and is not so aloof. Above all, his employees are treated with respet. It's not that common everywhere I'd love to go back. I've already made a reservation again.

Food was amazing, 10/10 no notes. Had the beef lover plate and everything was great! The spareribs and mac and cheese were standouts. Service was excellent as well, the owner was friendly and chatted to us and our waiter Bryan was fantastic as well.

Food was terrible and portions were small. 160€ for food that wasn't top good Qualität. When the food was served the young lady put a small firework in the table which was annoying. The food had petrol like after taste Maybe I was lust unlucky and the chef wasn't there that day. The Potatos were the best thing on the table

I haven't waited so long for my food in a long time and I haven't eaten such bad fries in a long time. The corn-fed chicken was most likely from the frozen Rewe store or something similar. Next time no, thank you.

An all-round successful evening. We were there for the all-you-can-eat BBQ. In terms of taste, quality, atmosphere, service, everything is an absolute recommendation. The potato salad, unique. Without exaggeration, the best potato salad I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The meat is consistently of great quality, smoked in real wood smoke and not drowned in sauces or rubs. The ultimate recommendation for BBQ and meat lovers. Go there! It's worth it.

We went to Greensmoke for All You Can Eat and absolutely loved it! The food was super tasty, freshly prepared and varied. The meat in particular was perfectly grilled and well seasoned. The side dishes and sauces also tasted convincing. The service was friendly and attentive - we felt completely at home. Price-performance ratio is definitely right here. We'd love to come back!

Food was tasty and well cooked, just a shame the service did not match the standard of food. Clearly short staffed; we waited quite a while to be seated even though the staff had seen us. The waitress taking our order was new but obviously hadn't had enough training to be left on her own whilst taking orders and didn't really seem to know what she was doing. Our order was wrong and when we questioned it, were told the rest of the food was coming, 10minutes later the rest of the food arrived by which point it was too late for some of it. Real shame as the food we did manage to eat was really well cooked and very tasty.

Authentic smokey BBQ like from the southern states. If I have my way, there can be more BBQ sauce on the plate, but that's a matter of taste. The Beef Hammer is literally awesome, definitely recommended!

We were in Cologne yesterday and tried the store for the first time after I had heard a lot of good things - and what can I say: it was totally worth it! The service was great, especially the young blonde waitress (unfortunately I forgot to ask her name) was really warm and implemented all of our requests really nicely. The boss was also really attentive, asked several times whether everything was okay, and was generally super friendly. The food was not only beautifully prepared, but also tasted incredibly delicious - I haven't eaten that good in a long time. Clear recommendation from me! I'll definitely come back when I'm in Cologne again.

Unfortunately, despite the high rating, the establishment was disappointing. The steaks were dry and bland. Our order was misunderstood several times and we ended up being billed for additional items that we didn't order. Instead of apologies from the staff, we received criticism and an offer to express our dissatisfaction directly to the boss if we don’t like something. With such obviously overpriced dishes, we expected much higher quality. The burger wasn't bad and the kid liked it, but the steaks were disgusting at 30 euros each.

Sure, here's the friendlier version - honest, but with a constructive tone: ⸻ Unfortunately, we were unable to fully confirm the many positive reviews about the smoked meat. Maybe we just had a bad moment - it seemed a little dry and more reminiscent of leftovers from the day before. With a 45 minute wait and the announcement that it was special, we expected a little more. The service team was even warmer and in a good mood - that definitely made the visit more pleasant.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The burgers looked very appetizing. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. Only a small deduction because I was hoping for a little more seasoning on the burger.

Disappointing visit. Food was very good aside from the fatty short ribs. Ordered a glass of wine from three separate staff. After 30 minutes, it arrived but we were finished eating so we said it was too long to wait and we didn't want it. They said it would still be added to the bill and even though I didn't drink it, it was added to the bill.

First of all, the positive - the food tasted good. Now to the rest: The restaurant is inside the hotel, which was a bit confusing at first. You can only get into the restaurant through the hotel lobby. The wait for food was extremely long. We were told it would take 45 minutes to prepare, but it was almost 2 hours. And the prices for some dishes are way too high. The meat platter for 2 people costs €40 per person, so a total of €80 for a single steak, a few ribs, a few pieces of chicken, 2 side dishes and that's it! It's a shame for me to come here for money.

Today we were really in the mood for green smoke as a couple. Saw what was on the menu online. Got there today shortly before 9 p.m. There was a rope stretched across the entrance and a sign saying “Please wait”. No sooner said than done. After 8-10 minutes no one responded to us. Not bad. When a whole group of people were escorted out by a middle-aged waiter (with a beard) and two women came in at the same time, he let them in and out and then hooked the hook again to close the rope without even looking at us, he immediately started to disappear again. He simply blocked my question as to whether he hadn't seen us and why he didn't ask what we wanted and ignored us. Instead he tried to portray me as unfriendly and started arguing. Very bold and impudent. I can only advise against dealing with people like this. We will never enter this store again. So zero points!! My colleagues at the doctors' meeting where we came are informed. No thanks. Not worthy of the Lindner Hotel.

Hello everyone, Getting a parking space in advance is very difficult! The restaurant is not very clean. The waitress is unable to give any indication that you can still have side dishes. (just as a note for the guest) The Caesar salad is outrageous and is reserved with 2 gampas! Price €18.90 So my opinion is totally overrated!!
