I was there for the first time and immediately felt at home. We immediately started talking to the owner and really had fun. The food was really good and made us curious about the other dishes. We will be back to take part in the next "All you can eat BBQ".

This is an excellent place to enjoy traditional BBQs from the USA. I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10.

We reserved a table via Quandoo today at 6:15 p.m. We then had to wait 15 minutes at the bar, which wasn't a problem for us either. We got our drinks and appetizer within a short time. Unfortunately the non-alcoholic mojito was very subpar (too much sugar/no lime/mint…). Our main course was a Chili Chesse Burger + side salad and chicken lollipops with fries. The Chili Chesse burger was the worst I've ever had, the brioche bun tasted very hard and in my opinion there are much better ones at Edeka. The patty didn't taste like anything and the sauces were classic ready-made sauces and that's a huge disgrace for the price of over €18. The side salad was a normal good side salad. The chicken lollipops were good. Unfortunately, some of the fries weren't even completely cooked through. There was 40 minutes between the main course and the starter, which is pretty decent. At 7:50 p.m. I received an email from the Quandoo platform that our reservation had been canceled by the restaurant, which we find very questionable. The bartender and the two waitresses were very personable. In the end we told the waitress that we wanted to pay. She then immediately got the card reader. As she was on her way to meet us, a waiter who paid us no attention during our stay sent her to another table. When we paid, the waitress apologized to us for the below-average food and the long wait.

Very hidden in the hotel, but very tasty burgers, not only look good but also taste good. We got a great deal with a Groupon voucher, but a burger there is still worth it even without it. The ribs looked really good too, next time!

The all u can eat buffet was really great and the price/performance ratio was great. We paid €50 and there was a lot of meat and side dishes. In addition, the buffet was not time-limited, which I also found very good. Sky served us very friendly, but all the other waiters were also very friendly and never made us wait long. It was a lovely evening that we will repeat again.

We went with our friends who have a young baby. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was very good. We got two sharing platters between 4 of us but one would probably have been enough.

A bit difficult to find because it isn't shown correctly on Google maps and you have to go through the lobby of the Lindner (pun intended) to find it. But very friendly and fast service with reasonable prices and very good ribs. Gladly again!

A great restaurant where you can have delicious food and drinks. Great staff who always keep an eye on the guest in order to be able to fulfill any wish. The salad was a good combination of sweetness and acidity.

Really very nice and great staff. Incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly and was really tasty. Portions were very large, I really had to struggle. I can only recommend it.

I was there with my 8 year old son on January 1st, 2025. We both ate a burger. Apart from 4.90 euros extra for fries, it was very good. Tried the meat on January 4, 2025. My piece for 29.90 euros, ok. But the fillet for my son, for 39.90 euros, was the worst thing you could ever serve. Full of sinews about what can happen, but shouldn't. But the worst. After my complaint, no response, no apology, nothing. Then the food came before the drinks. Although we reserved a table, we left it for now. Staff totally overwhelmed. Absolutely not recommended. The fillet thing doesn't work at all. Therefore only one star.

This is the second time we've been to the Lindner Hotel in six months and the first time we've eaten at Greensmoke. I have to say we haven't eaten so well in a long time. Top service, top ambience and mega burgers.

I had been looking for a BBQ grill near Cologne for a long time until I accidentally came across this nice establishment online and gave it a chance. I wasn't disappointed! From the super friendly service to the incredibly delicious smoked beef ribs that melted in your mouth - everything was excellent. This certainly won't be the last time I spend my evening at Green Smoke!

At the beginning, 2 very loud men were seated next to us, so close that we were almost sitting at a table inside, even though half the shop was empty, we weren't allowed to move even when we asked, the meat was just carelessly placed on the plate, the chicken breast wasn't there The grilled potatoes were particularly tasty and also had an unusual taste. Food was ok. but somehow we expected more. Chicken had a fairly neutral taste, ribs were very firm. Beef ribs were good. Overall the quantity was a bit disappointing for 3 people at €40 each.

What a heavenly experience; so many different types of meat, everything well prepared; Guys, the taste!!!! A real treat, so delicious... definitely go and try it for yourself...

The Green Smoke... If you like meat, you will love this restaurant. I ate there on New Year's Eve, an all you can eat BBQ buffet was offered. In addition to delicious salads and other side dishes, the meat dishes were simply indescribable. Kudos to the kitchen for that. The service offered a very warm welcome. When it comes to the selection of drinks, there is something for everyone and at moderate prices. The next time I visit Cologne, I already know where I want to eat again.

Yes, what can you say when your visit here leaves you absolutely speechless? The negative first: And now for the positive. Ambiance, service and menu: 10/10. The team is very attentive and friendly and is also available to give you advice. We had steak, burgers and ribs. And everything was amazing. Both in terms of taste and quality. (The ribs fell off the bone on their own) The cooking levels were perfect and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Personally, I definitely recommend ordering the cheese sauce with the burger. A poem! The sweet potato fries are super crispy and really soft on the inside. Nothing was hard, dry or even burned. The dips are really good and consistent, the prices are more than fair. IF one could "complain" about anything at all, it would be the rather hidden location. But anyone who has been there once will come back and know the location. This restaurant alone is worth the trip to Cologne and even though it takes us 3 hours, we would happily come back just for this meal. In any case, we agreed in the end: We haven't been treated so well and so nicely in a long time and we've eaten so well for months, if not years. And now I'm thinking about whether I've actually had a better burger somewhere. Such roasted flavors combined with juicy meat, fresh ingredients and the great cheese sauce... I'll stop. See for yourself!

My 500g Rip eys was so salty that I had to give it back and I have never had to give any food back in my life. And I was so angry when the service came and said (the chef said) "It wasn't salty, he didn't put any salt in it. Sorry guys, I really can't accept that excuse. 30 minutes later my new piece. For the first time in my life I didn't finish my Rip Eys, the 50 euros apiece, it's just a shame to see the 20 euros and throw it away. This time there really wasn't any salt on my steak. Guess what it tastes like without salt. .............. The chef can't manage medium and medium rare either. I was so disappointed

Unfortunately our visit was a huge disappointment. The short rib was smoked far too long and therefore far too tough, as was the pork - both absolutely inedible. The burger tasted very good, but we found it a bit too expensive for the price. The service overall was poor. We were only asked for drinks once during the entire stay, which reinforced the impression of little attention and hospitality. The meat is definitely not recommended, and overall it was a bad BBQ experience. We won't be coming back here.

We found this gem on Google while driving from the UK and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely incredible, the local beer was delicious, and the service was outstanding—especially since we arrived close to closing time. I had dinner at Green Smoke for the first time yesterday and what can I say? ...it was incredibly tasty and of great quality! Unfortunately the shop is a bit hidden but it's definitely worth looking for. In addition to the super tender meat, all the side dishes were also great, although I would like to highlight the Coleslow again, which was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. The waitresses were also super accommodating and friendly! The Green Smoke is definitely worth a visit (or several, of course), it's simply delicious!

Ordered spare ribs, but received 3 large ribs (pieces of meat), instead of a piece of ribs marinated small ribs together which I normally get in restaurants. Not for me to repeat this way. But maybe just in Germany this way?

Definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately, larger groups may experience staggered eating times. However, each table is served at a timed rate.

Although the shop was really empty at 8:30 p.m., when I asked about a nicer place to be seated, the waiter with the long beard replied very rudely: "No, there are no tables of four for single people!" To my reply, Because there was still enough space at this late hour, he said: "I won't do that as a matter of principle." Because of that and because of his unfriendly manner, I left the restaurant as quickly as possible and will never go there again. I would have understood it if it had happened during peak meal time or when the shop was full, but treating guests rudely later in the evening on pointless principles and thereby driving them away is simply not acceptable. Greetings to the manager, who has a nice placement, but when the team screws it up massively it's all too late.

Obwohl der Laden abends um 20:30 Uhr wirklich leer war, wurde mir bei der Platzierung auf meine Frage nach einem schöneren Platz sehr patzig vom Kellner mit dem langen Bart geantwortet: „Nein, es gibt keine Vierertische für Einzelpersonen!“ Auf meine Erwiderung, dass doch zu dieser späten Stunde noch genügend Platz sei, sagte er: „Ich mache das aus Prinzip nicht.“ Daraufhin und aufgrund seiner unfreundlichen Art habe ich das Restaurant so schnell wie möglich wieder verlassen und werde es auch nie wieder aufsuchen. Ich hätte es verstanden, wenn es während der Hauptessenszeit oder bei vollem Laden passiert wäre, aber am späteren Abend Gäste aus sinnlosen Prinzipien patzig zu behandeln und dadurch zu vertreiben, geht gar nicht. Grüße an den Manager, der zwar schick platzieren lässt, aber wenn das Team es da schon massiv verkackt ist alles zu spät.

I was passing through and had a meal here with a voucher (the menu isn't on the menu) and I booked quite spontaneously and got a place. Advantage of traveling alone. I liked it very much and found the smoke aroma to be very good. I also had Cole Slow and Mac n Cheese was okay and I also had the option to choose a draft beer from this voucher menu, there's even an IPA. The service was friendly and also asked if everything was OK or if you would like something to drink. You should be aware that it can take longer, especially if there are larger groups present, as was the case this evening. I had my meat platter very quickly. I would say solid performance. The only thing that bothered me was the sitting on top of each other and the fact that, contrary to the description, I wasn't allowed to choose my own dips.

Definitely recommended for meat lovers. "The Upgrade" is a combination of a number of high-quality cuts of meat. Reservations are recommended!

Very good We had the 500grams ribeye and smoked ribs with grilled potatos and salad on the side.. everything was excellent I found the smokey flavour is bit too much for me so next time id order non smoked ribs but overall excellent
