Sehr freundliche Bedienung, tolles Fleisch und ein schönes Ambiente. Leider saßen wir direkt an einem Lautsprecher, es war sehr laut. Erst im Nachhinein haben wir gemerkt wie laut es eigentlich war. Egal, das Essen war sehr gut und uns hat es gefallen.

We were in Cologne yesterday and tried the place for the first time after hearing so many good things about it – and what can I say: It was totally worth it! The service was great, especially the young blonde waitress (sorry, I forgot to ask her name) who was incredibly friendly and accommodated all our requests. The manager was also really attentive, checking several times to make sure everything was okay, and was generally super friendly. The food was not only beautifully presented, but also incredibly delicious – I haven't eaten anything this good in a long time. I definitely recommend it! I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Cologne.

Maybe we just had a bad moment - it seemed a little dry and more reminiscent of leftovers from the day before. With a 45 minute wait and the announcement that it was special, we expected a little more. The service team was even warmer and in a good mood - that definitely made the visit more pleasant.

Unfortunately, despite the high rating, the establishment was disappointing. The steaks were dry and bland. Our order was misunderstood several times and we ended up being billed for additional items that we didn't order. Instead of apologies from the staff, we received criticism and an offer to express our dissatisfaction directly to the boss if we don’t like something. With such obviously overpriced dishes, we expected much higher quality. The burger wasn't bad and the kid liked it, but the steaks were disgusting at 30 euros each.

Side dishes like mac and cheese were good, but the main dishes like the steak were incredibly tough and difficult to chew. Service was incredibly good, very friendly and courteous waiters.

Spare or meat ribs were tender with delicious BBQ sauces, sometimes a bit fatty. Burger was OK and tasty, but standard. Service attentive and friendly, atmosphere of course like in a hotel bar.

Disappointing visit. Food was very good aside from the fatty short ribs. Ordered a glass of wine from three separate staff. After 30 minutes, it arrived but we were finished eating so we said it was too long to wait and we didn't want it. They said it would still be added to the bill and even though I didn't drink it, it was added to the bill.

First of all, the positive - the food tasted good. Now to the rest: The restaurant is inside the hotel, which was a bit confusing at first. You can only get into the restaurant through the hotel lobby. The wait for food was extremely long. We were told it would take 45 minutes to prepare, but it was almost 2 hours. And the prices for some dishes are way too high. The meat platter for 2 people costs €40 per person, so a total of €80 for a single steak, a few ribs, a few pieces of chicken, 2 side dishes and that's it! It's a shame for me to come here for money.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The burgers looked very appetizing. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy. Only a small deduction because I was hoping for a little more seasoning on the burger.

Today we were really in the mood for green smoke as a couple. Saw what was on the menu online. Got there today shortly before 9 p.m. There was a rope stretched across the entrance and a sign saying “Please wait”. No sooner said than done. After 8-10 minutes no one responded to us. Not bad. When a whole group of people were escorted out by a middle-aged waiter (with a beard) and two women came in at the same time, he let them in and out and then hooked the hook again to close the rope without even looking at us, he immediately started to disappear again. He simply blocked my question as to whether he hadn't seen us and why he didn't ask what we wanted and ignored us. Instead he tried to portray me as unfriendly and started arguing. Very bold and impudent. I can only advise against dealing with people like this. We will never enter this store again. So zero points!! My colleagues at the doctors' meeting where we came are informed. No thanks. Not worthy of the Lindner Hotel.

Very tasty food, especially the meat is highly recommended. A little more expensive in price. You notice that you are not in a classic restaurant, but the service makes up for the somewhat sterile atmosphere. If you want to enjoy a smoked BBQ, you should stop by here.

I really wanted to give more stars, but we waited for our food for an hour. I don't believe it takes that long to prepare, so it's an optimization issue. Besides that food is delicious and the personnel is kind and friendly.

Hello everyone, Getting a parking space in advance is very difficult! The restaurant is not very clean. The waitress is unable to give any indication that you can still have side dishes. (just as a note for the guest) The Caesar salad is outrageous and is reserved with 2 gampas! Price €18.90 So my opinion is totally overrated!!

If you're looking for the best BBQ in town, then you've come to the right place! High quality food and excellent service, great ambience. Tender, juicy meat, great side dishes and a team that you'll want to take home with you. We love coming back again and again!

The food was really outstanding, we had ordered ribs (which unfortunately arrived a little late, but mistakes happen) but there was really nothing wrong with it. Conditions apologized several times for the delay and we were also offered compensation directly. The boss is also really lovely, he also took the time to sit with us for a bit. So I'd be happy to come back when I get the chance, and hopefully the food will come on time. Make an effort Andrea😉

We visited on Sunday with 10 people and had a great time! 5 of us had pre-ordered the voucher for chicken with 4 side dishes of our choice. We had booked a table for 5 p.m. and were the second ones in the store. When we ordered the food, we were told that 2 of the 4 side dishes HAD to be coleslaw. We accepted it that way, but later found out in the offer that it didn't say anything about it. The rest of us also had meat dishes, mainly steak, we knew we would wait about 45 minutes for our food, which was completely reasonable. More and more time passed, the shop became more and more crowded and I think they forgot about us, because we weren't asked if we would like something more to drink... it wasn't until we got in touch that someone came to us. We didn't get our food until well after 7 p.m. Unfortunately I got the wrong steak, rump instead of fillet. I was offered to make a new one, but I declined because of the long waiting time. I took the sirloin steak and was told that something would be done about the price. When serving, most of the side dishes were forgotten, including the 10 coleslaws, which we only got when we asked. When we told the other waiter that we had to take 2 coleslaws from the 4 side dishes, she was a little surprised. It was positive that we were able to swap a side salad, which had been forgotten for a long time, for sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, when we were clearing away the can of chicken fell over and spilled onto our chairs and scarf, which the waitress didn't notice. When I paid, they forgot that they wanted to give me a discount. They only remembered it when asked. Conclusion: All in all, it just wasn't good! The meat tasted bland, unseasoned, very watery and not smoky at all. The side dishes, on the other hand, were delicious, the forced coleslaw was also very tasty, they were able to save a bit. The service also left a lot to be desired. And even though we were a lot of people, a lot of other guests got their food before us and also left the shop before us, waiting time ok, but not more than 2 hours. Other stores eventually get it done too. Based on the very good reviews, we expected a lot and were very disappointed. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it and won't be coming back. Maybe we just had a bad day...

Yesterday we had dinner at Green Smoke with 6 people and decided on the platters, what can I say it was great :) great meat from beef ribs, spareribs, fillet steak, ribeye steak, hips and Maga side dishes, Super nice team, we chatted with the boss, it was a very nice evening and the price was tip top

TikTok videos are nicer than suburban. The chicken advertised is only available by pre-order. The food was OK, but typical hotel restaurant flair. Nothing special, but steep prices.

We were there on Friday. First of all, we had to wait at the entrance for a disproportionately long time until we were allowed to take a seat. Then types of meat were advertised endlessly, which were then hardly or not available at all. You only got what the obviously very overwhelmed young man at the grill had just finished. Salads and bread were no longer replenished in a very timely manner. And €50 for ribs is very expensive. You would think that if you don't do events like this for the first time, you would get it better organized. The “boss” complains to his waitresses in front of the guests. And it sounds through the shop that some people are still coming to eat, but there's nothing left. Unfortunately not very professional. For the money, it would be better to go somewhere else. 2 stars because the drinks are absolutely ok in terms of price, even if they take a long time to arrive!

Overall the food is perfect. The ambience is nice. Barbecue fans and vegetarians alike will get their money's worth here. The whole smoked chicken is just great and the side dishes are awesome in themselves. The icing on the cake is the dessert, in this case pistachio souffle with ice cream. The staff is extremely accommodating, it shows that the boss, who also cooks in the kitchen, really knows his stuff.

We have just come from the restaurant where the three of us ate and we are incredibly disappointed. The staff was nice, but the two waitresses who were left alone were hopelessly overwhelmed with the workload of Sunday business. We spent three (!!) hours there - mostly waiting. Guests who came after us and ordered some of the same dishes left the restaurant before we even had a main course. Everyone can decide for themselves whether grilling 4 scampi skewers as a starter alone should take 1.5 hours if you are the third group in a restaurant that opens shortly after it opens. We were able to return the plates that were served as the main course with the grill platter straight away because they were dirty. After we had to wait so long, the food was of course no longer enjoyable, although the meat itself was of good quality and overall was OK to well prepared, you have to hand it to the restaurant. However, it is worth mentioning that the portions are definitely too small for the price quoted. If there are 5 parts of meat on an 80€ grill plate for two people, that's not possible. The additional side dishes that were ordered and paid for royally were also partly forgotten and only brought when asked. A small thing, but against the background of the very negative overall picture, a detail that plays its part. We found it particularly cheeky and worth mentioning that the staff, who were at a loss for any excuse for the poor service and the unreasonable waiting times, weren't even ashamed to actively ask for a tip towards the end. Sorry, but that's really only for service. It would have been right to offer a little something like a drink or a dessert on the house as a sign of goodwill or something similar as a small compensation for the long waiting time. After we had already been bitterly disappointed at an outdoor BBQ event at the restaurant because the calculations were poor and after a very short time there was no more food available, even though it was sold as all you can eat, we now wanted to give the shop itself another chance and were disappointed the second time. There won't be a third time and the experiences will definitely be passed on. It's a real shame because, as I said, the food itself wasn't the worst.

The food was very, very tasty, you really can't complain. It's clear that you have to wait a certain amount of time for your food. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time overall. (e.g. on the drinks, bread and the espresso at the end) We also explicitly pointed out twice that we didn't like our seat. We were told the rest was “reserved”, but unfortunately no one sat down for the whole 2 hours.

The atmosphere was very loud, the service was inattentive but friendly, almost a bit too casual. Drinks: The glass was cracked and not clean, the beer wasn't full but was refilled. The food was mediocre, the buns were quite soggy. The burgers were average in taste. The ribs were very good, both in terms of taste and preparation. All in all, it was okay, but not cheap.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to "Green Smoke Cologne." The food was simply incredible - every dish was perfect, fresh and prepared with a lot of love. We were very satisfied. The good gentleman who served us was in a very good mood, always attentive, but not intrusive. I had the burger, and a few special requests. Even though we ordered through Groupon, all of our wishes were fulfilled. The meat petty was fried medium rare as requested and tasted very tasty. My partner had the large spare ribs plate which he couldn't finish. The cellar immediately offered to pack up the food so that it didn't have to be thrown away. We were very satisfied and will come back.

When we arrived, the restaurant was empty, they seated us at the bar because they were full of reservations. For a place with such prices and in a hotel, they are expected to think about the comfort of people, they could have asked how long we would be staying and seated us at a table with a reservation and just got up before the reservation time. For me, the meat tasted good, but it was overcooked. At a point when the chicken leg is on strings, it means it is already overcooked. I also lacked juiciness in the ribs, and I have tried a lot of meat in many places in principle. We ordered the steak medium well, it came well done. The pork ribs came burnt, the moment we said that, they replaced them with new ones. The side dishes were nice. The two waitresses were very nice. For the money you pay, there are better places.

We'd especially like to highlight the fantastic service from Andrea and Sky! Both were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made us feel completely at home.
