GREEN SMOKE Cologne in Köln

This is my second time here, and just like the first time, I'm extremely satisfied. The quality is fantastic, and you can taste it. The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is truly excellent. I/we will definitely be back. It's difficult to recommend because everything here is so delicious.

I recently visited Green Smoke Cologne and ordered the brisket. I can only say it was absolutely sensational. The meat was incredibly juicy, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a highlight. I've tried a lot of BBQ, including in America, but I've never had a brisket like this. You can immediately tell how much time and passion goes into its preparation. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant. For me, it's a real highlight in Cologne. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who loves good BBQ.

We ate there. The waitstaff have that typical Cologne charm (a bit cheeky, but respectful) and the food is simply wonderful. It's worth waiting 45 minutes. If you decide to eat there, it's best to make a reservation.

Gr8 place. We had an opoortunity for all U can eat bbq. Food was excellent, Service so nice and so funny. It was real pleasure. I was suprised cause U usually not fond such a places in hotels.

The meat quality is excellent, cooked to perfection. The food is freshly prepared in a smoker, which is why the wait times can be around 45 minutes, but this is clearly indicated on the menu. The steak is truly good, but the real star of the restaurant is the burger: perfectly seasoned, juicy meat on very well-balanced patties that clearly outshines the steaks. This burger is outstanding. The service is top-notch; they promptly address any missing side dishes or dips, making guests feel genuinely welcome. The ambiance is elegant thanks to the high ceilings, and any odors dissipate quickly. However, the decor is a bit cold and lacks charm. One point is deducted for the value for money. Good meat is expensive and should be, but the side dishes could be significantly larger. Our visit was very successful, and we'll gladly return (especially for the burgers)!

We called spontaneously and got a table for two at the bar. The service was very friendly; we didn't have to wait for drinks, and when our glasses were empty, they were refilled immediately. The food was very good, and the timing was excellent—both dishes arrived at the table at the same time and were ready quickly. All in all, a very nice evening, and the prices are very fair.

This was our first time at Green Smoke in Cologne. Right from the start, we noticed that you couldn't walk into the restaurant unhindered. A sign was hanging in the way to make it clear to everyone that a waiter would escort you to your table. A good solution in itself, as it cleared the way for us, but it was annoying if you wanted to use the restroom or leave the restaurant. Then you have to climb over it, as the bars are positioned in such a way that you can't walk past. After a short wait, we were escorted to our table. The service staff was typically friendly, with a great sense of humor. We had the meat platter, and our friends ordered burgers. Our meat was excellent, the sides were good, but not outstanding. Our friends were unfortunately disappointed with the burgers, as the meat wasn't cooked to the right temperature and the buns quickly fell apart. The drinks, unfortunately, are too small, with 0.2-liter bottles, and unfortunately, they only serve Pepsi.

We came spontaneously without a reservation. We were seated at the bar, and as soon as a table became available, we were given a table. Although the place was busy, everything went quite quickly. The waiters were all super friendly, polite, and courteous. For the price you pay, you get a decent amount of food. And it not only looks good, it tastes really good too. If you're a meat lover, you'll definitely get your money's worth here. :)

We had the Beef Lover Upgrade Platter – and what can I say: meat. Lots of meat. And all with a really nice smoky flavor. Then we had really good drinks (gin and tonic) and truly outstanding service – friendly, attentive, and with a smile that was almost as good as the beef fillet ;) In short: If you love meat, you'll be happy here. If you love good service, you'll be happy too. And if you love both… you'll probably just stay there. 😎 We were there with two children. Both had a burger (Smashed and the small one, also very good)

As an American, I was craving some American-style BBQ and steak. This place exceeded my expectations! We ordered the upgraded meat plate for 2 and I can't recommend it enough for a special date night or friends night out. The meats are served with a special salt and butter so you can season them yourself. The service was incredible; our server Andrea took great care of us and made us feel special. The vibe is fun too...they play classic 80's rock music which I love! Also, if you're missing IPAs from the States, they seem to always have one on top here. Will definitely be back to enjoy delicious meats or a burger!

We had a lovely evening with friends at Green Smoke yesterday. From the friendly welcome by Andrea to the service by Patrick and Brian, there was nothing to complain about. A great team who know their job. There were six of us and we enjoyed the appetizer, main course, and dessert. There was nothing to complain about here either. Simply delicious. The spare ribs, the steak, and the brisket were all fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Really good food and even better, super attentive service! The place is often busy (which is no surprise given the food), so it's best to bring some time. We had the platter for two – absolutely delicious and perfectly sufficient for two people. I thought the side dishes were a bit small for the price, but the meat more than makes up for it 😊 And a huge compliment to the whole team – from the manager to the bartender, they're simply great people! You feel like you're in good hands. A definite recommendation for anyone who loves American-style BBQ! 🔥🍖
