The meat and sauce were perfectly fine, unfortunately the vegetables were completely soft and didn't look nice on the display. The croquettes were tasty, but carelessly prepared, but ok for the buffet price.

We ate here with 5 people after our New Year's hike: We received a very friendly welcome and were offered the table buffet, which was really very good. Price/performance ratio was okay, the service was very attentive... would be happy to come back again if the opportunity arises

Am 01.05.2016 war ich mit meiner Familie zum Spargelbuffet im Klapperturm. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und fühlten uns sofort wohl. Der Gastraum ist hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr gut: Wildschwein, Rinderschmorbraten, Schnitzel und Schweinefilets in Champignon- Rahmsauce. Dazu Kroketten, Birne mit Preiselbeeren, Mischgemüse - und natürlich Spargel satt!!! Sehr lecker! Den Preis empfand ich als angemessen - ca. 12,50 Euro für eine Portion a la Carte bzw. ca. 20 Euro für das Buffet. Ich freue mich auf einen weiteren Besuch!

This was our first time there, but unfortunately the music was too loud and the choice of music wasn't suitable for a restaurant, and it was a bit too chilly for us. The service was very friendly and attentive. All of our schnitzels were delicious...only the fried potatoes were unfortunately cooked in the pan for far too short a time. Otherwise, everything was very tasty and fresh. We'd be happy to come back.

Marktpl. 17Service takes forever (both when ordering and paying) and is very uncoordinated. They skimp on details that are on the menu. You have to pay together because it makes it easier for the waiter. The fries are dripping with grease and are soggy, and of course you can only pay in cash in a restaurant.

Burgpl. 1The restaurant is well located if you're visiting the castle. The food was okay, but the schnitzel was quite stringy and unfortunately not that tasty. Payments are accepted with debit cards but not credit cards, but I don't think that's a big deal. Unfortunately, the restrooms aren't clean at all; they really need some attention. All in all, a restaurant with room for improvement.

Burgstraße 5Nice retro ambiance, very cozy. We had absolutely perfect spare ribs with a very good BBQ sauce. Potato wedges with a nice herb dip, and freshly tapped Einbecker beer. So, all in all, it was top-notch.💯
