The food was relatively high in glutamate. Otherwise good quality with fresh vegetables in the sauce. If you use less glutamate for your food, at least 1 star more.
Really stable doener. The chicken is wonderfully seasoned.
The herb sauce I chose enhanced the taste of the doner to my liking.
All other ingredients were also very fresh!
The bread must have come from our own production, I have never seen a shape like this before - and it tasted much better!
I don't want to comment further on the ambience, because it doesn't matter in this case.
I received a tasty doner with super friendly "service" from the owner's daughter?!?
I would love to come back!
A few years ago I tried three takeout meals. Since my original 3-star rating does not appear to meet the guidelines, I would now like to revise it. In my opinion, there are significantly better alternatives for most of the dishes on offer in Einbeck. An exception is the chicken biryani, which I found really good.
Although my croque, which cost around 10.00 euros, was missing 1/3 of the toppings, I'm giving it 4 stars because the older gentleman who runs the shop is very nice and personable, I feel sorry for him that the shop isn't doing so well, and the croque I ordered was otherwise okay in taste. I live nearby and walk by there almost every day and I'm often surprised that you almost never see a customer in the store. At some point, the opening hours were reduced from 7 hours a day, 6 days a week (Mon - Sat, 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.) to 3 hours a day, 5 days a day (Mon - Fri, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.). Well, at some point hunger and curiosity drove me in. I thought the selection of croque toppings was quite good. special (croque with "chicken sausage pan", for example) but okay, that's a matter of taste of course. Maybe 2-3 “classics” (e.g. ham/cheese/pineapple/salad always work) and therefore a little more choice would be good. Because the idea of offering croques, wraps and crepes is really good, in a city that now has what feels like 100 pizza/döner shops. The prices (at least those for the croques) are definitely excessive, sorry. The prices are about the same as Subway (if you convert the croque size accordingly), although the items at Subway are much more extensive. Even if Mr. Croque has all the ingredients that the menu says it should have, it's significantly less than Subway. Unfortunately, as I said at the beginning, that wasn't the case for me, but 2 out of 6 ingredients were missing (cheese and peppers), which I only noticed at home after I looked at the menu again to see what should actually have been on it. It's a shame, the store is a good idea, but implemented sub-optimally.
Great youth restaurant but also the older ones feel good here!
Good food, both starters and main courses.
We recommend it to those who like to eat a lot, because the dishes are in the choice: large, very large and mega large!
This place could become my 2nd home! The young man behind the counter is an absolute unit and the service is first class. The kebab here is the closest thing to a legendary Berlin kebab and you always feel like a king here. A must every time the hard work takes me to Einbeck.
It tastes good, but the portions leave a lot to be desired for the money. The pizza dough is so thin, it feels like you're only eating the toppings. Salad hardly any tomatoes, just a few greens and a few onion rings, I get that cheaper at marktkauf
Nico, it's a shame
P.S.
Pizza bread with garlic for 7 euros is mega exaggerated. I'd rather order somewhere else ciao
We ordered and picked up food today. It was delicious, as always. Our friends loved it too. Vahid was friendly, as always. We have no complaints. We don't come here very regularly, but when we do, we'll be happy to come back.
Put an ad in the newspaper yesterday saying that you can eat cake there on the weekend and then it won't be open as advertised. We and a few others who stood with us in front of the closed door were disappointed. Too bad!
