The vegetarian and vegan burgers are very tasty.

Unfortunately, as regulars, we can no longer recommend this restaurant. The quality has declined overall. The table, especially the felt placemats, were dirty. The service was inattentive (e.g., they didn't clear the table after the meal), and the quality of the food used to be much better. At least I don't expect a whole stump of an onion as a topping for these prices.

In any case, the food was really good 👍 and the service was very friendly.

Since the large outdoor area was completely full, we were seated in the typical wooden ambiance. The service was fast and very friendly. The burger we ordered was excellent, and the non-alcoholic fruit cocktails were delicious and refreshing.

A really nice restaurant in itself. The food is delicious and the drinks are okay too. However, one of the waiters either laughed at the tip he received or simply shook his head and refused because it was too small. This is simply disrespectful to the customer. The other waiters were all great! It's a real shame. But otherwise, a good restaurant!

The menu is new again. You have to search again to find "your" food. The Pepper Sack and the Rabauke are gone. Hopefully, they'll be back soon...

Not recommended – unhygienic and unprofessional Unfortunately, our visit to this burger restaurant was very disappointing. The sauces on offer (mayonnaise, burger sauce, ketchup, and BBQ sauce) were left unrefrigerated in the blazing sun – a clear lack of hygiene that is absolutely unacceptable. The general condition of the seating was also anything but inviting: The felt placemats and the felt cushions on the benches were very dirty and appeared unkempt. Another major drawback was the service. Individual orders were misunderstood or ignored – requests such as "no salad" or "no burger sauce" were not implemented despite clear communication. When we complained about the wrong burger, we were brought exactly the same burger again – only the salad and sauce had been removed. Unfortunately, it was no longer freshly prepared. The other burgers also have room for improvement in terms of taste! Overall, a bitter disappointment – ​​neither cleanliness nor customer service seem to be a priority here. We will definitely not be coming back.

Unfortunately, my visit was only mediocre. It's a bit disappointing that the Benediktiner Helles, which I like, is only available in 0.3L glasses and not the 0.5L that is common in many places. The waitress generously promised to bring me a new beer as soon as my glass was empty, but the reality was different: I had to wait over 20 minutes for my next order. When I went to the bar myself to order a new drink, I was referred back to the waitress, who was nowhere to be found at the time. Perhaps they could consider introducing 0.5L glasses. This would not only reduce the logistical effort but certainly also shorten waiting times for guests. The food portions were fine, and there was nothing to complain about.

I ordered via Uber Eats earlier... absolute crap!! My burger was missing the second patty, the extra BBQ sauce, and the extra cheese. A salad I ordered separately was completely missing!! In other words, food worth over €10 didn't arrive. Shoutout to the staff there - being able to read orders should be a minimum requirement for this job!

Pleasantly decorated place. Quick attention, it must be said that it was practically empty. The table was not clean. Burgers, salads, .... Good amount of food and well prepared. Medium-high price. A bit like in general in Germany.

Super delicious food from a large selection of dishes, with something for everyone. The burgers are big and everything is fresh. A burger costs around 15 euros. This restaurant also has a solid selection of drinks. The staff is very friendly and quick. We would be happy to come back if we get the chance.

Great shop, nice atmosphere, as you would expect from Hans im Glück. Service consists of a young team, very attentive and open! Taste burgers. There is something for everyone and the burgers can be modified. For example, every burger can also be topped with a meaty or vegetarian/vegan alternative.

The food was served quickly. It arrived even before our drinks! It was delicious and we devoured everything that was served. The drinks were refreshing. Knocking two (2) stars off of service due to our order being messed up (no bacon in the bacon cheeseburger, missing an order of fries, and so on), drinks arriving late, and just generally slow service. That said, it was affordable (~€24 per person) and as long as you aren't in a hurry, it can be an amazing experience!

Very disappointing! I have no idea why the floor isn't even replaced. Looks shabby and kind of weird to walk on. Supposedly you should look for a table yourself, but you are only told about it after you stand around stupidly. Cell phone reception is still not possible and there will still be no customer WiFi in 2025. Too bad!

Food was available but I had to wait half an hour before I could pay.

In principle I can really recommend this place. You have to plan for waiting times if you don't have a reservation. But tables also become available quite quickly. You don't have to be rushed by the service to get tables free quickly. Food was very good. Preparation time completely ok. Because good food also takes time. Cocktails taste good. One point deducted because I noticed how some of the service spoke disparagingly about customers and that happened more than once in one evening. Everyone knows it from work and you can even gossip... It's not an issue. It's just stupid if some other guests notice. But all in all I would go again!

I was completely satisfied with my visit to Hans im Glück! The burger was simply fantastic – juicy, tasty, and cooked to perfection. There was a fantastic selection of sides to go with it. I was particularly impressed by the service: as soon as my beer was empty, I was immediately refilled. This is exactly what you imagine a relaxing evening to be! Friendly staff, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere – I'll definitely be back!

Food is good, service is friendly and quick. Preparation is quick. I just find the cocktails a disgrace. 0.4l are served in glasses without a calibration mark and filled with 70% ice. Complaints are answered with “I don’t calculate that”. For €9.50 a bad price-performance ratio. Unfortunately two stars deducted from the last review.

It was my first time at Hans im Glück and overall my visit was really great! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was also impeccable. The young employees were competent, friendly and the process ran smoothly. I found it particularly positive that the employee suggested an alternative option for my special order that was not only suitable, but even cheaper than my original choice. I would definitely recommend making a reservation as it was very busy in the evening. A small negative point for me is the ambience - although it is stylishly furnished, the benches became quite uncomfortable after a while. Another point is the price: the food and drinks were quite expensive overall. All in all, a clear recommendation! If you like high-quality burgers and a pleasant atmosphere, you will definitely get your money's worth here.

Great place with a “something for everyone” menu. Vegetarian, vegan wide range. Very friendly service (even spoke Dutch) tasty vegan burgers. We had the glücksgriff and the abentuer lust. Both burgers well topped and a choice of different hamburger buns. (all also vegan) I only thought the portion of fries was a bit on the expensive side for a relatively small bowl, but it was tasty. nice decor and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are in the area

Had dinner there today. It's very cramped. Some people sat back to back. But the ambience itself is nice. A french fry was forgotten and wasn't added until the burger was eaten, despite it being typical; come immediately. My garlic fries arrived cold. But I let them go back, and when I asked why I should still pay for them, I responded bluntly: well, a lot of it was gone. But that wasn't exactly the case, of course I tried a few and also stirred the bowl from top to bottom to see if they were warm at the bottom. It was just a little off the top layer. The bowl was still full. Absolutely annoying and we won't eat there again. The young lady was just doing her job but seemed visibly overwhelmed. The burger was good but unfortunately the food around it ruined it so we left the restaurant upset.

Very friendly staff and solid burgers

As always, everyone is very friendly, accommodating and tries to please every guest, even if this can be really annoying, especially because more and more guests think they can do whatever they want. Your team at the Münster is really great, thank you for the lovely evening. However, I have a little something that is aimed more at guests with dogs... Just make sure that your animal stays under the table and doesn't bark.

Quality of the food: 3/5 It tastes ok if you like sauces, which covered everything else in our burgers. Far from a really good burger in my opinion. Frozen patties. The drinks were OK. Service: 3/5 Friendly, speed was just okay, not super fast when taking the order, even though the restaurant was only 2/3 full and there were enough service staff. (We could choose the seats). After the food was delivered, we were no longer “available”. No request regarding satisfaction or further drinks - a shame. Ordering the invoice was quick and easy, cash/card/voucher worked. Cleanliness: 4/5 we had a few crumbs on the table and I find the felt mats on the tables to be an unsightly solution. Otherwise everything was good. Ambience/Decor: 3/5 It looks nice, but due to the open concept it is quite loud and you can see everyone's plate in the area. Unfortunately, most of the seats are benches without backrests. I found that unpleasant. Price/performance: 3/5 The burger prices are reasonable. The side orders vary, I find some surcharges too high. I found the drinks to be a bit too expensive. Conclusion: Nothing special. There won't be another visit for me.

Very tasty and great service even with extra sausages

Food was delicious as always. Unfortunately the tables are very close to each other, a few cm more distance would be good. The service was good at first, but unfortunately we were still waiting for our hot drink from the lunch menu after 45 minutes, despite repeated requests. We then paid and pointed out the problem again; there was no apology or compensation for the drinks we had not received.

01/25 I was at the GOP with my wife, and since Hans im Glück no longer exists in Osnabrück, we took the opportunity. Was super tasty! Burger fish and quite big! I would have liked to lean against it, but unfortunately that wasn't possible and the music was sometimes a bit loud to be able to have a good conversation, but those are small things! It was great, keep it up!

Despite the large crowds on an Advent weekend, we were served very quickly (we had made a reservation on the same day). The service was friendly and attentive. The veggie burger with olive patty, goat cheese and avocado cream and the homemade lemonade were great!

Vegan experience in "Hans im Glück": I went to "Hans im Glück" a few times and it was always a pretty mediocre experience for what you're paying. Some upsides: - This is an option if you have someone that doesn't want to leave out meat or dairy products for one meal - good opening times (I went there on a national holiday) - easy to see which dishes are vegan and which aren't - Interesting ambiente, nice staff - can sit outside, a lot of tables, good location in "Salzstraße" Downsides: - Mediocre taste for around 20€ (10€ for burger and around 5€ for fries and 5€ for a drink) - relatively small/boring selection in my opinion All in all, this is a place I can recommend for spontaneous visits when there are no great alternatives or when you have some non vegan people with you. Still, I rather go to other places in Münster. Food 6/10 - not really good but also not bad 3/5 (google) Service 7/10 - nothing to complain about, was nice. Nothing special either 5/5 (google) Atmosphere 8/10 - it feels somewhat unique, definitely some good ideas in there, but the lamps above the tables are a bit too big
