Perfect restaurant,must visit. Food,staff and ambiance all was just amazing 🤩

Food was good according to the chain. The waitress was obviously drunk (carnival) and had to be reminded by us about little things like paying for the food. This restaurant also uses “tip screens” - when paying with a card, you are immediately asked to tip in a double-digit percentage range. (In this case even for a to-go order) We probably won't come here again.

I had a 4 hour layover (ICE) so yesterday I went to the restaurant with my friend (he lives in Cologne). We both ordered the evening menu of burger + salad + cocktail. It was midnight and I had a long night with 5 trips to the toilet. When I asked my friend about it the next morning, he was sick too. A shame because the restaurant was so welcoming. Due to these circumstances I will never recommend this place.

We were offered a table that wasn't even clean (completely glued) and we couldn't even come close to seeing our stroller. And no other seat was given due to the other areas being closed, even though other guests were still sitting there. In comparison, the food was very weak at another branch (the fries were cold and soft and the burgers were too salty and also cold, so you would think the food had been there for 10 minutes before it was brought to us). I often have to ask the waitresses to clean the table and bring us cutlery. When we wanted to leave, one of the waitresses asked us several times who was paying, even though we had said from the start that only one person paid with the card. Without any sense of shame, we were accused of clogging up the disabled toilet, even though we only changed the diaper with the little one and didn't even use the toilet ourselves. There was a “threat” from both waitresses that we should pay a bill for the toilet

So the Bürger Farbenspiel and the Wild West were very tasty, along with the fries and the salad. The waitress Ilayda was very nice. The ambience with the birch trees makes for a cool ambience, but the ceiling could be a little nicer.

Went in full of joy and very hungry. And we were completely disappointed. At first we weren't noticed at all but then after 12 minutes the condition came which seemed very nice to us. After we placed our order, we had to wait, wait and wait until we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Then we ate with pleasure. It was solid, but the fries were a bit oversalted and the fries were a bit cold. At the end, the condition cleared our plates, as well as our glasses, which were still half full. We came full of expectations with a bag of gold but left disappointed with smart hands like Hans.

Apart from the nice and friendly service, unfortunately nothing positive to report. The food wasn't better than ok and the burger was served cold. There are also very long waiting times because there is only one waitress present when the restaurant is full. Definitely expected better for the prices and wouldn't recommend it.

Nobody greeted us when we walked in. There were many empty tables. We chose a nice table in the corner and sat down. At first we were turned away because we were told this place was intended for larger groups. The menu is very inadequate for tourists when it comes to the selection of hamburgers. I couldn't see the ingredients of the hamburgers, you have to ask for them individually. For example, the menu says that the classic hamburger is the mother of all hamburgers, but whether it contains onions or cucumbers is left to the imagination. The hamburger we ordered smelled like lamb. We ate it to fill our bellies and regretted not eating at the Burger King next door.

Service friendly & attentive. Food didn't taste fresh. Taste nuances were missing. Pretty salty. We didn't feel good after consuming it

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. Went again. A table was occupied in the shop and they wanted to sit us at the door with dogs. So a no go restaurant with a dog!!

Creative menu, value for money OK. Interior corresponds to the overall concept. (Poor Birches - how many stores do they have?). When the outside door opens, it gets cold.

Food is great. But there is hardly any heating in the shop. It's not normal that it's so cold.

The service was very attentive, it only took a while to pay, but it was really busy. The ambience was appealing, the music was appropriate and unobtrusive, just as it should be ♡ The food was good as usual, only one star deducted for the lukewarm sweet potato fries. The timing could have been better. But all in all a successful evening 👍🏻

The burgers were ok but not comparable to Peter Pan burgers which are light years better in terms of taste and appearance. The fries we ordered were an imposition. No longer fresh, hard and lukewarm. Every oven fries taste better. The Hans im Glück sauce in a paper cup! neutral in taste. The service was nice but not attentive and seemed unprofessional. The outfit of the male service staff in run-of-the-mill street clothes was of no standard. They preferred to busy themselves with each other rather than looking after the customer. Guests are ignored. I wouldn't go there a second time. Then it's better to wait 15 minutes in front of Peter Pan where we were the day before. By the way, it's only 5 minutes away. That alone should be enough to at least improve the service.

Good selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers that tasted average. Unfortunately, I have to say that we felt extremely uncomfortable due to the degrading and unprofessional behavior of a waiter (short, glasses, tattoos, dragon t-shirt). Therefore we will not come again and cannot recommend it under any circumstances… (However, the employee who did the billing was super nice)

Service was slow and not really responsive. The meal took 40 minutes, the burger was at the lowest level, the fries were ok. Hans im Glück was much better.

Interesting experience. Food wasn't particularly good. The nuggets for children are only available in vegan form and have their own taste. You really have to like that. Burgers were ok. Unfortunately half of the order came very late. Service was nice but not attentive.

Super disappointing service Waiters were constantly walking past us and no one paid any attention to us. It was only after 30 minutes that we were able to order. It took another half hour for the food to arrive (not even warm anymore). Drinking only came after being asked to do so after eating. Not nice service at all. Don't come again

Went there with a friend a few days ago and was super disappointed. The burger and fries were ok in themselves, but the quality of the meat was reminiscent of cheap discount products. There are a thousand better shops in Cologne that offer significantly better quality. But the worst thing was the service. At some point we wanted to order a second drink, but were consistently not served. Staff preferred to be among themselves rather than with the guests. The same thing happened when we wanted the bill at some point. Another long wait. People would rather do billing than take care of guests. The whole thing was crowned by the statement that card payments were not possible and we seriously had to go to the bank to pay our bill.

Food was very tasty, service was good, but nothing special, ambience is, as usual, hand in luck, but unfortunately very, very narrow, when all tables are occupied, your own backrest is inevitably the unknown seat neighbor from the next table.

Maybe we had a bad day. Service was very slow (one service for the entire store), the menu only came to the table lukewarm and the burger wasn't prepared as usual. A bit disappointing for the first time.

Not the first time here but more disappointed than ever. Service was just a joke. We got drinks later than the food. Meat slightly warm. There was nothing going on in the store, just a few tables. Too bad!

Before our visit to the Scala Theater we had made a reservation for 10 people at Hans im Glück. Very good and friendly service, burgers for every taste, nice atmosphere.

Hans im glück está muy bien situado con algunos otros restaurantes cercanos. Esta vez estaba buscando una hamburguesa y no me decepcionó en absoluto. El menú era bueno con una variedad de hamburguesas para elegir. En mi caso decidí probar uno vegetariano

System catering where the price-performance ratio is not right.

Empfang unmöglich! Am frühen Nachmittag wurde uns an der Tür gesagt, dass kein Tisch frei wäre und wir erst in 20 Minuten plaziert werden könnten. Sie wäre halt alleine - Personalmangel …. Dafür kann sie leider nichts, aber den Grund anzugeben, dass kein Tisch frei wäre - das ist frech! Es waren höchstens 6 Tische besetzt! Auf vieren standen noch benutze Gläser, die aber sie nicht abräumen konnte, da das arme Mädel wohl so überlastet war. Nach 20 Minuten kam ein weiterer Mitarbeiter und es ging etwas zügiger. Sorry, das war Nichts. Wären wir zum 1. Mal da gewesen, würden wir wohl nicht wiederkommen. So verbuchen wir diesen Besuch als - diesmal Pech gehabt.

Essen war lecker, aber sehr lange Wartezeiten. Küche und Bedienung waren sehr überfordert und unterbesetzt. Ein Gericht kam mindestens 40min früher als die anderen beiden Bestellungen. So war ein gemeinsames Essen nicht möglich und anders als gedacht

Really fantastic shop. A little expensive, but it's worth the money. The service was extremely friendly, not in an unpleasant way, but in a very casual, friendly way. The selection of food and drinks is wonderful. I even accidentally ordered the wrong one and only found out afterwards, it was so delicious that I just accepted it c: Big recommendation for everyone with a heart for sweets: Lausbub aka. a vegan cookie dough. Speaking of vegan! It's worth trying out the vegetarian and vegan options, they have a lot to offer c: All in all great experience!

Nicht nochmal. Der Empfang und die Bestellung waren noch wirklich sehr freundlich. Ab dann wurde es schwierig bis wirklich unverschämt. Bestellung wurde spätestens um 19:15 Uhr aufgegeben. Nach über einer Stunde Wartezeit wollten wir mal nachfragen - kein Kellner greifbar. Um 20:30 Uhr kam unser Essen. Von der Kellnerin kam auf den Hinweis auf die lange Wartezeit erst eine Entschuldigung. Das Essen war allerdings kalt! Als wir das Weitergeben wollten, ging die Kellnerin in die Küche und gab das weiter - daraufhin hörten wir, vor der Küche stehend "Scheiß auf die. Du bedienst die zuletzt und bringst die anderen Essen raus." Spätestens ab dann wollten wir nur noch die Getränke zahlen und gehen. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten Wartezeit, hatte sich immer noch nichts getan. Unseren Unmut bekam ein weiterer Kellner(oder der Chef?) mit, der offenbar gerade in den Laden kam. Er bot uns noch sehr nett an unsere Essen sofort nochmal zu machen, was wir aber ablehnten. Immerhin gab es dann die beiden Eistee aufs Haus... Später trafen wir noch andere aus dem Lokal, die aufgrund kaltem Essen ebenfalls nicht gezahlt hatten und gegangen waren. Absolutes NoGo. Fehler etc. können passieren, aber a muss man bei der Wartezeit eine Info an seine Gäste geben - schließlich hatten wir zwei Burger mit Pommes und nicht eine ganze Kuh bestellt und b, wenn diese sich (das erste Mal!) nach einer Wartezeit von weit über einer Stunde über kaltes Essen beschweren mit "Scheiß auf die" zu reagieren, ist eine echte Frechheit. Das Ganze war auch an einem Donnerstagabend. Keine Ahnung, was passiert, wenn der Laden wirklich richtig voll ist...

You often get good citizens in Cologne, including here. But also a good change. You can eat the standard citizens well here, but even if you feel like eating citizens that are not standard, they are still citizens without any mumbo jumbo. It's a must for every citizen who loves Haber to test it.

Actually the food was ok, but the service kind of upsetting me until I can't enjoy my food.. I understand that he's alone and may take some times for the service.. but when finally he took our order, I can tell he's not 100% focus on taking our order and seems in rush. I ordered a drink and he brought different thing.. when we asked him to change, he told me (like complaining) that I didn't told him with a very not happy face.. I said I defined told him and he keep saying no.. since then I have no appetite at all. So big no go for the service because I also work in service.. Never again!

Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were welcomed on a very busy Saturday and were able to eat delicious burgers. Price performance and service were convincing as always

We got a seat straight away on a rainy midday. The atmosphere seems close to nature and the many birch trunks mean that the individual tables are separated like a forest. Unfortunately, the seating is not really comfortable and is too narrow. The waitresses were quick and friendly. The meal "burger with fries" was very tasty, even if the burger could have been a little warmer. The fries and sauces were great. The homemade thirst quenchers are also recommended. However, charging over 10-15 euros for a single burger seems too much to me. Even a large portion of fries is expensive at 10 euros, so the price-performance ratio isn't quite right to get 5 stars.

Bedienung sehr freundlich und schnell. Hat Spaß gemacht. Vegetarische Burger lecker, neotaste Kontingent jedoch immer sehr schnell ausgebucht, schade. Junggesellinnenabschiede im Überfluss, daher etwas nervig. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen :)

I ordered a burger menu for €16.90. The fries and meat from the burger were cold. Didn't seem freshly prepared at all.

It was too small for 6 people at a table, the service was very friendly and accommodating, the food came very quickly, but the lamp above the table was hanging very far down so that you could sometimes reach it with your head. Reservations were easy to make online, but there was no table set up for us.

I don't like it when my burger tastes like socialist agitation and exclusion of those who think differently.

A very good burger chain! They offer various burgers. There are various extra toppings such as bacon. You can even choose your own bun. Between grains, brioch, whole wheat and even breadless! A bit too much choice for my taste and the staff is a bit pushy. The food, however, is really great! Super fresh and juicy. The store design also appeals to me. There are birch logs everywhere from floor to ceiling, making you feel more sociable and making the store seem more crowded. Class!

Zelal 40 ist eine sehr sympathische zuvorkommende Bedienung, die immer darauf bedacht ist das der Gast zufrieden ist. Wobei die Filiale an den Ringen sehr viel besser ist ( von allem her), wie am Media Park. Top 👍👍👍

Hänschen Klein, ging wirklich ganz allein. Super schönes Restaurant, leider nur 3 Arbeiter die niemals so viele Menschen bedienen können, die aber nett waren. Sehr Teuer für Burger aber sehr schöne Ambiente.

Mit der Bestellung und dem Essen ist das Personal hier viel schneller als in anderen Restaurants der Kette. Hier scheinen also mal genug Leute eingestellt worden zu sein anstatt am Personal zu sparen und die, die hier arbeiten sind super aufmerksam und freundlich!

All good except the bad smell (I think) from WC.

Our server was a very nice young lady that was patient and helped us obtain our English menus and explain everything to us. The food was great; had a hamburger and fries and my wife had a salad and avocado fries. The salad was huge! The burger was a little smaller than expected but tasted great. We enjoyed the ambience very much as well.

Sehr leckere burger, der Service ist auch Klasse. Ich komme gerne hier wieder hin mit meiner Freundin. Das Ambient ist auch super.

Wirklich schöne Location. Vom Entrée bis zu den WCs ganz toll gestaltet. Die Auswahl vielfältig und für jeden etwas dabei. Ich hatte eine Bowl mit Hähnchenstreifen. Diese war hervorragend und reichlich. Die dazu gereichten Brotstreifen mit Sesam waren vorbereitet. Es wurde nach dem Essen zuvorkommend zum mitnehmen vorbereitet. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren durchgehend freundlich und waren zu jedem Zeitpunkt bereit jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir wurden mehrmals sehr höflich und nicht aufdringlich gefragt ob alles in Ordnung sei. Schön war's. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder !

Essen, Service und Ambiente sehr gut, wenn die Toiletten etwas gepflegter wären, würde dies das Gesamtbild perfektionieren.

This is such a beautiful cafe/restaurant. Unique in its style and my wife and I loved it. The food was excellent, as was the service from our wonderfully smiley and friendly waitress after an initial slow start from somebody else. We stayed for a cocktail after our meal, such was the joy of relaxing here and the next time we're back in Cologne, I would definitely visit again.

La comida es bastante buena. Hay bastante variedad tanto para vegetarianos como los que comen carne. Yo me pedí la hamburguesa doble y estaba muy buena. Pero hay un pero....la carne me la esperaba de más calidad!!! La hamburguesa en sí bien, pero la carne no era de calidad. El baño está en el sótano y fue un verdadero desastre!!!! Los inodoros estaban llenos de orines porque estaban atascados. Una peste que llegaba a la sala donde estábamos comiendo. En sí bastante bien pero algo negativo lo del baño y el precio de mi hamburguesa: 17€. Se puede mejorar

Die Burger sind wirklich gut, die Pommes auch, verschiedene Saucen stehen auf dem Tisch. Die Pommes hätten für 5€ gerne etwas mehr sein können. Die Tische stehen sehr eng, so dass ich einen der zur Deko aufgestellten Birkenstämme tatsächlich direkt im Rücken hatte. Der Andrang Samstag Abend war groß, die Gäste stehen bis draußen und halten die Tür auf, so dass es kalt rein zieht. Da lässt sich das Personal meines Erachtens auch zu viel Zeit, um die Gäste mit Reservierung abzuholen, und die ohne Reservierung zu bitten, wann anders wieder zu kommen.

Food would probably have been fine, as always, but they had us wait and wait. They said it would take 5 minutes, 25 minutes later nobody could give an estimate and we decided to leave. If it's very busy, just tell the people waiting that it will take long and don't ignore them. That's all we needed.

Leider bin ich diesmal enttäuscht. Die Kellner standen zu 4. im Kreis und unterhielten sich genüsslich der Empfang von neuen Kunden und Bestellungen verzögerten dadurch. Nachteil, wenn der Laden sich dann Freitag abends füllt. Einige Kellner ließen es sich anmerken dass sie wenig Lust hatten zu arbeiten. Schade
