Although I wasn't that impressed with the food, I will definitely come back because the service was simply fantastic. Ilayda provided first-class service.

We were there for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. The waitress, Ilayda, was great at advising us, and her recommendations were spot on. The fiery burger with spicy jalapenos and the vegan Zeitgeist burger were both convincing. We'll definitely be back! Thank you for the great service and the delicious food.

Not particularly large burgers for the price. It was extremely loud and the seats were very uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly, though.

Its a bad location, really loud and packed . The food was nice but way to expansive for the wait. We orderd extra Fries and waited 30 min, we aksed for then and orderd churros aswell. We never got them after waiting for like 40 min.

The food was delicious and the service was truly attentive. It was perfect, especially considering we were there with two small children. A little less sugar in all the sauces and toppings would have been great. The kids' burger, which is often poorly prepared, was particularly impressive. But this one was delicious.

The service was really great, super friendly. The price-performance ratio is pretty bad, but unfortunately, that's become relatively normal. Especially the fries for 4.5/6.5 (sweet potatoes) are difficult to justify given the quantity. The burgers were delicious, especially with the toppings; the meat was almost certainly a frozen patty reminiscent of a snack bar. The half-liter drink for 5.5 was also steep, especially since my spritzer tasted almost like nothing. But when we asked the waitress if everything was okay, they immediately brought us a new one.

We waited 45 minutes for a coffee, which was included in the lunch menu. Then we left.

At all other Hans im Glück branches, you're usually served impeccably, but here the employees unfortunately have absolutely no control over the situation. Although they announced a longer wait time at the beginning, it's unacceptable to wait over an hour just to get a drink (or even the food before the drinks). If you're reaching your limit in a restaurant, maybe they shouldn't let in any more customers!

Classic Hans im Glück in the Belgian Quarter. Good burgers and good fries, but the portions could be larger. The dinner menu includes a burger, side dish, and cocktail for €24. Service was good, wait times were normal. I would come again.

Delicious burger, side salad, and fries were also very tasty. The vegan cookie dough for dessert was amazing. I had a mango spritzer to drink, which was also delicious. The service was nice, but not exactly prompt; twice orders didn't arrive until I asked again, and they didn't even check whether there were any empty drinks. The ambiance is really nice with the whole wood and forest theme, but it wasn't possible to find a large table for a group of around seven, so we had to use two permanently installed tables next to each other. There was a tree trunk decoratively placed at irregular intervals on the back of the benches, which meant that you couldn't sit comfortably in every place. Very impractical.

A great restaurant with a cool atmosphere. The selection of burgers is very large. There is also a great selection for vegan and vegetarian guests. The service is very attentive and the food came very quickly. I would give this restaurant a good overall rating and recommend it.

Unfortunately, for €5 the fries are very bad. Very greasy, not salted at all and just far too little for the price. Too bad!

Top Geisbock burger, Caesar salad dressed with Gertig sauce... positive, there are sweet potato fries and you can choose between three different types of burger bread.

There were two of us there today. Ambiance is good exceptional design. Unfortunately we had to wait a very long time for the food. In the meantime, two or three service staff came to our table and asked if we had already ordered. The food was served nicely, what was good about the burger was that you could also order a sourdough bun. They have three rolls to choose from. I only ate a salad with chicken. The salad was averagely dressed so finished sauce I was disappointed and the plain chicken schnitzel was mediocre. Unfortunately the toilets downstairs were dirty, very dirty and the toilets and sink were under water.

There were four of us there and the place is really nice. The waiters were friendly but not very attentive. And the food was ok. I almost didn't find my goat cheese in the burger, but it was still delicious. The fries were mixed up with old and fresh ones. The absolute highlight was the side salad. The only thing I can really recommend. Very tasty. Unfortunately, the espresso at the end was almost cold and without biscuits/amarettini. Important for me personally. All in all a nice evening

The burgers were very tasty. The service was friendly, unfortunately the payment didn't work well. We had to ask for it twice, even though there was nothing going on because, as is often the case, only the front area was allowed to be occupied according to management. We had a Neo Taste deal 2 for 1 burger. The deal said we would get 50% off each burger, but only the cheapest burger was deducted. When we asked, we were told that it was always done that way. Sorry, but then it should be described clearly and understandably. Therefore no recommendations from us.

Chic shop with small tables. Friendly quick service. The drinks were really tasty. But the food was even better. Delicious homemade burgers and fries. Plus the absolutely fabulous dessert. Unfortunately, we don't have a lucky Hans. But if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit. Or even two. We'll definitely come back again.

As usual for the chain, everything is fine. You just have to teach individual bartenders that Pimm's (summer rain) requires a sprig of mint.

I was in this restaurant for the first time today with my sister and I have to say it was really nice ☺️ The service is friendly, courteous and gave advice if you had any questions or gave little tips. I come from the catering industry myself and I have to say I haven't felt as comfortable and welcome in a shop as I do here in a long time. I don't even want to start talking about the ambience, it's simply breathtaking. A huge compliment to the kitchen as well as the service and I can only recommend that you come here. 🫶🏼

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my sister today and the food was really unique. The waitress was very friendly and also advises her guests about tastes and specials as well as their personal favorites. As people who come from the catering and service sectors ourselves, we, the team, have to give huge praise. We haven't felt so welcomed and born in a long time.

The portions could be bigger, the meat better and more. Still, it's okay, the restaurant is open for quite a long time, you can do that.

Great atmosphere as always. The food was also very good. What struck us (7 people) as a bit odd was that the server sat next to us while taking our order. But that's a matter of taste. Only four people found it, well, let's call it "different" :) But the service was definitely nice.

We ate there for my bachelorette party (with seven people). At first, the waiter seemed very nice. After a while, however, he unfortunately became increasingly unfriendly. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes, even though there weren't even any drinks. We're still waiting for a drink to this day, despite repeated reminders. The ice cream for dessert was runny, and when we told the waiter we'd like a new one, he got rude and told us "not to stress." He also said we shouldn't come back because we were "giving a headache." Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it, especially on such a special day. What a shame.

We waited 48 minutes for service. The food arrived before the drinks. The waitress didn't come to order new drinks. We skipped dessert and new drinks because the waitress took so long.

We received a very warm welcome, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, and my friends told them it was my birthday. I also received a little surprise with brownies. Overall, I was very satisfied. Many thanks to the friendly team. I'm always happy to come back.

On Sunday at 2:30 p.m. we stood in the entrance waiting area behind another 4 people with a group of 4 people and left the location after waiting at least 10 minutes without being noticed by the staff.

Unfortunately the waiter was very, very unfriendly and slow, so we left again…

We were very happy with the food and the service.

Very interesting bugers to pick from and unique atmosphere. All the food was very flavorful and well cooked if you like it that way. Definitely try some of the drink they offer.

Food was good according to the chain. The waitress was obviously drunk (carnival) and had to be reminded by us about little things like paying for the food. This restaurant also uses “tip screens” - when paying with a card, you are immediately asked to tip in a double-digit percentage range. (In this case even for a to-go order) We probably won't come here again.

I had a 4 hour layover (ICE) so yesterday I went to the restaurant with my friend (he lives in Cologne). We both ordered the evening menu of burger + salad + cocktail. It was midnight and I had a long night with 5 trips to the toilet. When I asked my friend about it the next morning, he was sick too. A shame because the restaurant was so welcoming. Due to these circumstances I will never recommend this place.

We were offered a table that wasn't even clean (completely glued) and we couldn't even come close to seeing our stroller. And no other seat was given due to the other areas being closed, even though other guests were still sitting there. In comparison, the food was very weak at another branch (the fries were cold and soft and the burgers were too salty and also cold, so you would think the food had been there for 10 minutes before it was brought to us). I often have to ask the waitresses to clean the table and bring us cutlery. When we wanted to leave, one of the waitresses asked us several times who was paying, even though we had said from the start that only one person paid with the card. Without any sense of shame, we were accused of clogging up the disabled toilet, even though we only changed the diaper with the little one and didn't even use the toilet ourselves. There was a “threat” from both waitresses that we should pay a bill for the toilet

So the Bürger Farbenspiel and the Wild West were very tasty, along with the fries and the salad. The waitress Ilayda was very nice. The ambience with the birch trees makes for a cool ambience, but the ceiling could be a little nicer.

Went in full of joy and very hungry. And we were completely disappointed. At first we weren't noticed at all but then after 12 minutes the condition came which seemed very nice to us. After we placed our order, we had to wait, wait and wait until we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. Then we ate with pleasure. It was solid, but the fries were a bit oversalted and the fries were a bit cold. At the end, the condition cleared our plates, as well as our glasses, which were still half full. We came full of expectations with a bag of gold but left disappointed with smart hands like Hans.

Apart from the nice and friendly service, unfortunately nothing positive to report. The food wasn't better than ok and the burger was served cold. There are also very long waiting times because there is only one waitress present when the restaurant is full. Definitely expected better for the prices and wouldn't recommend it.

Nobody greeted us when we walked in. There were many empty tables. We chose a nice table in the corner and sat down. At first we were turned away because we were told this place was intended for larger groups. The menu is very inadequate for tourists when it comes to the selection of hamburgers. I couldn't see the ingredients of the hamburgers, you have to ask for them individually. For example, the menu says that the classic hamburger is the mother of all hamburgers, but whether it contains onions or cucumbers is left to the imagination. The hamburger we ordered smelled like lamb. We ate it to fill our bellies and regretted not eating at the Burger King next door.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. Went again. A table was occupied in the shop and they wanted to sit us at the door with dogs. So a no go restaurant with a dog!!

Creative menu, value for money OK. Interior corresponds to the overall concept. (Poor Birches - how many stores do they have?). When the outside door opens, it gets cold.

Food is great. But there is hardly any heating in the shop. It's not normal that it's so cold.

The service was very attentive, it only took a while to pay, but it was really busy. The ambience was appealing, the music was appropriate and unobtrusive, just as it should be ♡ The food was good as usual, only one star deducted for the lukewarm sweet potato fries. The timing could have been better. But all in all a successful evening 👍🏻

The burgers were ok but not comparable to Peter Pan burgers which are light years better in terms of taste and appearance. The fries we ordered were an imposition. No longer fresh, hard and lukewarm. Every oven fries taste better. The Hans im Glück sauce in a paper cup! neutral in taste. The service was nice but not attentive and seemed unprofessional. The outfit of the male service staff in run-of-the-mill street clothes was of no standard. They preferred to busy themselves with each other rather than looking after the customer. Guests are ignored. I wouldn't go there a second time. Then it's better to wait 15 minutes in front of Peter Pan where we were the day before. By the way, it's only 5 minutes away. That alone should be enough to at least improve the service.

Good selection of vegan and vegetarian burgers that tasted average. Unfortunately, I have to say that we felt extremely uncomfortable due to the degrading and unprofessional behavior of a waiter (short, glasses, tattoos, dragon t-shirt). Therefore we will not come again and cannot recommend it under any circumstances… (However, the employee who did the billing was super nice)

Went there with a friend a few days ago and was super disappointed. The burger and fries were ok in themselves, but the quality of the meat was reminiscent of cheap discount products. There are a thousand better shops in Cologne that offer significantly better quality. But the worst thing was the service. At some point we wanted to order a second drink, but were consistently not served. Staff preferred to be among themselves rather than with the guests. The same thing happened when we wanted the bill at some point. Another long wait. People would rather do billing than take care of guests. The whole thing was crowned by the statement that card payments were not possible and we seriously had to go to the bank to pay our bill.

Food was very tasty, service was good, but nothing special, ambience is, as usual, hand in luck, but unfortunately very, very narrow, when all tables are occupied, your own backrest is inevitably the unknown seat neighbor from the next table.
