There were four of us, and unfortunately we received lukewarm fries three times. The service was very friendly and they brought hot ones again.

I would like to see seat cushions on the bench.

Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing. The price and service didn't match; orders were forgotten or delayed; we had to ask four times about different orders so they wouldn't be completely overlooked. The plates were presented carelessly, and the clearly ordered appetizer was brought as the main course. We were also booked incorrectly. The kids' menu, including drinks, was completely forgotten. At only about a quarter of the usual occupancy on a Sunday afternoon, this was difficult, even with the apologies and explanations afterward. Sadly, we had hoped for more. A real shame.

We visited your restaurant today and ordered two burgers. The menu stated that the onions were caramelized, but they were raw in the burgers. Furthermore, the service wasn't particularly friendly. We wanted to sit at an empty table for four by the window. There were several free tables, and the restaurant wasn't full. Despite this, we were told we could only sit at a table for two. Shortly afterward, another guest sat down at that exact table for four without anyone saying a word. Two women also immediately sat down at the table for four next to us—again, without any comment. That was unfair. In addition, our plate was cleared without asking if we had finished eating—even though there was still food left. The burger itself, however, was fine.

Absolutely wonderful, it feels like being in a forest. The staff are incredibly friendly and very efficient. The food was excellent. I recommend booking in advance. It was easy to do online and worked perfectly.

It's always a pleasure to eat at Happy Hans's – burgers, homemade lemonade, friendly service, what more could you want?

So, my companion and I went here for dinner and had one of the best evenings in ages. The waiter was in a great mood, even though we had a slightly bumpy start (I can laugh about it now), because when the waiter asked me (22) if I was over 18 after I ordered a cocktail, it was a bit awkward at first, but then it became the joke of the evening, so it was great. The food was good and the dessert was heavenly. We'll definitely come back :)

I have no idea how the food tastes... The fact that we've been sitting here at our reserved seats for over an hour and there's no sign of even an appetizer being brought out is really putting a damper on our mood, as we're simply still hungry, and the burgers aren't even in sight. The young waitress is super nice and apologized several times for the management's apparent inability to assess the number of guests and the kitchen's capacity. Doesn't change the fact that all the other guests around us are sitting at their tables, annoyed and hungry, waiting... The burger and appetizer arrived after about an hour and a quarter. One burger, three fries, and three appetizers. Overall, good at best, but not worth the wait. We'd rather go somewhere else next time.

The food was 10/10, especially as a vegetarian. But I have to deduct something because the toilet on the first floor was a complete disaster. Urine on the bowl, water, and trash everywhere.

if you’re vegan this is absolutely the worst place to go. they mixed the burgers for me and my vegetarian friend, we CHECKED with the waiter where was which burger but in the middle of the meal when we realized that i had an option with cheese. when i told the waiter he said he couldn’t know where is which i’m sorry what?????? incredible stupidity of the staff and i can’t believe they made me eat cheese. worst experience ever

This place takes 5 stars in all fields... the food- delicious and with lots of variety. Lots of vegan options available and their sweet potatoe fries are my favorite. Amazing sauces that are absolutely complimentary with the food. Atmosphere: Tropical forest like canopies that will make you think you have traveled to an exotic location. Service: Nice waitresses/ waitres that make you feel comfortable. You can also just get coffee to go from this place without even sitting at the restaurant.

Went here for burgers today. The food was tasty, plentiful, and, by today's standards, reasonably priced. One minus is the really sad-looking dried thyme sprig in the drink. If you can't get a fresh sprig of thyme in October, you should just leave it out. It tastes good without it. Another minus is the lack of soap in the restrooms. Otherwise, it's a good place to eat.

The food was okay overall, but the burger meat was a bit raw and the bun seemed a bit old. Maybe some people like the meat that way, but for me, it wasn't quite right. Otherwise, everything was good, and the staff was friendly.

We had a truly lovely afternoon at the restaurant. The food and drinks were excellent, as you'd expect from Hans im Glück. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay very pleasant. We sat upstairs, the two of us, behind the coffee machine, which was a cozy spot. We found it a bit disappointing that some of the other servers were more likely to be standing behind us at friends' tables, chatting there instead of being present during service. Furthermore, hygiene in the restroom could have been improved – the trash can was overflowing, and the area unfortunately didn't seem particularly well-maintained. Nevertheless, the overall experience was quite good.

We took advantage of the cozy atmosphere to meet with business associates. The service and Ria's demeanor were very attentive and friendly to us and the other guests. We will definitely be back soon. A wonderful week to the entire team.

My husband and I were here last summer and loved it. Today, we as a family were a bit divided over who wanted what, so we decided to go to a different restaurant, but only two of us ate there because the menu wasn't satisfying for all of us. My son was so sad and hungry (and so was I) that we went to Hans im Glück afterward and were able to eat burgers after all. Thank you! That saved the evening, and my son was happy and full again. The food was delicious, the prices were absolutely affordable, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was super friendly. We'd gladly go back.

I recently visited this burger place twice during my 3-day trip. The atmosphere is really nice and cozy, and I especially liked the design. The service was also fast. They have separate vegan and vegetarian burger options (wow!) and quite a lot of choices overall. The finger food is amazing, especially the BBQ cauliflower wings, one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. A total must-try!

It tasted very good and we didn't have to wait long, but I don't like it where you're practically sitting on the lap of the person sitting next to you; I would have preferred a more private space. But otherwise, it was really good there.

The ambiance is really good; sitting outside on a Saturday evening at the Altmarkt is something special. It would have been even better if we'd been able to place an order. The QR code on the table invited us to order via smartphone. Unfortunately, the link didn't work. And the waitress consistently avoided us and other guests. After waiting 15 minutes, we left. There are plenty of other restaurants at the Altmarkt.

Unfortunately, for me, the difference in the food compared to the competition (or even the cheaper competition in some cases) isn't so great that the price justifies it. You can definitely eat here, but it's not a standout (except for the service, which deserves a full 5 stars).

The fries were cold, the grilled corn was cold, the appetizers were served with the main courses, and the menu was completely forgotten—that was nothing. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; the benches hadn't been cleaned in a while. We had a reservation for nine people and were seated at two tables in the lower restaurant area, while the larger tables upstairs were empty. The competition at the Zwinger restaurant can do much better.

Everything in this restaurant is perfect, but when you wait an hour for your food and other people arrive after you and have already finished eating, you definitely need to catch up.

I love the ambiance; the birch trees create a magical experience and perfectly reflect the fairytale "Hans in Luck." The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. My absolute favorite dessert is the "Lausbub" (a vegan cookie dough). No matter how the day goes, it always brings joy and sweetens it. For me, Hans in Luck is a little fairytale in Dresden that I always enjoy returning to.

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for food. In the meantime, we finished our drinks and would have liked another. However, we were completely ignored until our food finally arrived after an eternity. Then the fries were ice-cold, and the Double Smash Burger had nothing to do with a Smash Burger. It wasn't tasty either, but that's subjective.

This is what you were looking for! Look no further! Brilliant daily menu, with main course, cold drink, hot drink, side dish. Everything was super delicious and at a very good price. I thought it would be unaffordable because of the location, but it works at absolutely fair prices. If I go here again, I will come back!🍔🍟☕️🍹

Unfortunately it wasn't that special

The bun in the burger was tasty, the patty was passable. That's the good part. The cheese was like glass, it didn't even melt. The fries with garlic sauce and parmesan were disgusting. Cold. It felt like they were put together from the leftovers of the guests. When I asked the waiter: "Is it supposed to be like this?!" she said: "No"... and that was it. 🤔

For me it's more of a "fast food restaurant" category.

First, the ambiance: Uncomfortable seating, very densely spaced tables, poor lighting at night. Otherwise, it's nicely decorated, and at least on the upper floor, there are decent tables. Service: Excellent! It was very crowded, but we were still served after a reasonable wait, and our food arrived after an average wait. Service was also very friendly. Food: Not so great... My girlfriend and I had stomach cramps afterward. Tasted okay & very, very greasy. Definitely not healthy. For the price, I expected more. The fries were unsalted, and there was no salt or pepper at the table. Since the potato creation was also very greasy, it was inedible. I like fries and potatoes, but this was inedible. Maybe we just had a bad day, but that shouldn't happen. Even on a bad day, you can expect seasoned fries and a pain-free stomach. I won't go there again. I can't recommend it, but as I said, maybe it was a bad day. By the way, the cocktails are pretty mediocre. Far too sweet!

The regular burgers were really disgusting. The meat had a metallic and watery taste. The waiter even checked how much we tipped while we were paying (we didn't really want to, as we didn't deserve it), but because of the "pressure," we still had to tip.

Top-notch service; you almost always get a table in a nice spot on the Altmarkt. The staff is always courteous and friendly, even when something goes wrong. The burger ingredients were mixed up. We received the correctly prepared burgers without any problems and even had a double portion. It can happen, but the staff reacted professionally and without argument. We love coming to this branch! The cocktails are also great; I wanted my mojito with different ingredients, and it was no problem and tasted great! Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately, I have to deduct one star for the service, as the wait after eating our food was quite long for a reorder of drinks or desserts (there weren't many customers in the shop that day). Highly recommended! Best schnitzel I've had here in a long time

Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied. The burgers (I had the classic, my wife the goatherd) were a bit tough and overcooked. The fries, unfortunately, had no salt, or only a very small amount. The service was friendly, and we were seated inside right away, but the food unfortunately fell short of our expectations.
