HANS IM GLÜCK - DRESDEN Altmarkt in Dresden

This restaurant is not recommended for people with physical disabilities. Inclusion is unknown or even unimaginable at this fast food chain. Sure, the staff is friendly, but the concept is more reminiscent of Mitropa. It's very cramped, completely unsuitable for wheelchair users. The restroom is on the first floor and only accessible via stairs. Hans im Glück has shown its not-so-happy side.

Everything fine. Have ordered dinner here 5 times. The burgers were all tasty. The standard and sweet potato fries stand out. Very fresh and tasty. Cocktails were too bland/watery for me. Service nice and accommodating. All in one delicious dinner.

Super nice restaurant, centrally located. We were welcomed very warmly and had a nice waitress who was able to give us good advice about the different burgers! Everything was fine. One star deduction for the food, as it was unfortunately only served lukewarm. This was probably because it was very crowded that evening. Otherwise everything was great!

I haven't been to HiG for a very long time because of the chain. We didn't regret our spontaneous decision to eat here! The food was really okay, the fries could have been a little fresher, but they didn't arrive until around 11 p.m. Above all, I remember the service well. Very well trained staff, we were taken care of! We'll definitely come back 🙂

Best Hans im Glück! We've been to Hans im Glück many times. The restaurant in Dresden is by far the best so far. The food, service, and atmosphere are simply fantastic! We had drinks, burgers, fries, and dessert. Everything came super quickly, was beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious!

It was great, as always. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, without any long waits, even though the restaurant was very busy. The drinks were also very tasty. There's always something new to discover on the menu. We also really like the different types of fries, such as the cheese and garlic fries. Always delicious. The service was very good, friendly, and attentive, and they constantly checked in with our guests to see what they were up to. It was worth it to drive to Dresden for dinner again. We'd love to come back and will definitely be back soon.

The burgers, fries and sodas/drinks were great, the service was friendly and direct. It was very crowded and therefore extremely loud. The table was stuck just like the beer glass I got, but everything else was fine.

Yesterday we were at Hans im Glück on Dresden's Altmarkt, as always it was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We had a view of the Dresden Winter Festival from the windows.

As a tourist the staff was wonderful, the food was AMAZING i love this place and i am definitely visiting again. I strongly recommend this place if you are in Dresden

Good evening, I came to you with my girls with an open mind and I was looking forward to your club. You had a good selection of music and it was fun to celebrate again. But.... the DJ's transitions were of poor professionalism, songs were mixed together that made no sense and the best parts of classics were skipped and "improved" with newfangled music. This had nothing to do with the 80's, 90's and 2000s as you described. 2nd point: the staff was friendly and worked well, but when I went to the barmaid with criticism she was dismissive and full of disinterest, she didn't care about my opinion. This doesn't reflect well on your club, well what the heck, we're just paying customers who keep your company running. It was positive that we got in for free until 10:30 p.m. It wouldn't be worth the 8 euro entrance fee to spend my life with such an imposition. You probably don't care about the opinion of individuals, but you should urgently do something about your staff. I will advise my friends not to celebrate with you and will not come to you again.

The bad thing is that at my request, a person with short stature and some problems with my legs, to sit at a low table, we were refused and the administrator said that the tables are for large companies, although it was already after 8 p.m. and there were especially no companies and there was enough space. As a result, I had to drink painkillers afterwards because it was very bad when the blood circulation was blocked. The administrator does not have any signs of a responsible person, neither a badge nor special clothes, and when a "restaurant visitor" turns to you and asks "what do you want?" It was also quite unexpected, we didn't understand what he wanted at first. The burger was tasty, the salad could have been tasty too, but it was so covered in dressing that everything was swimming in it.

The store was very full and we even got a seat straight away without a reservation. The service was friendly and helpful, and special requests such as allergens and intolerances were taken into account. There is a considerable selection of food, including a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. The bowl tasted very good! Baked fries are also recommended!

I expected much more and was disappointed, especially since I came especially from Leipzig. The cocktails and service were ok, but the meat tasted like McDonald's - not worth it. Would I come back? Ate here on the recommendation of my daughter. Nice and cozy tent with friendly staff. The hamburger was delicious, I didn't like the fries as much. The cocktail was tasty. I did regret that I couldn't choose the tip myself.

Be careful with delivery orders! We have now ordered three times via Lieferando for our team. Fries were forgotten three times, even though they were accounted for and shown on the receipt. The solution is to give it to Lieferando as a lack or to ask for free fries next time. A rogue who thinks evil of this accumulation.

Their specialty is burgers. We tried the vegan vegetable burger. Ok without pkus. The pancake was fried and didn't taste much. The sweet potato fries were good.

Burger very weak. You can buy meat for €1 in every Lidl. Overall, it's a drama, there's nothing wrong with it, you can go across the street to Makuś and you'll be more satisfied. It's a waste of your palate and money for what they call burgers in this place.

Title: Absolute low point in Hans im Glück Dresden I've never written a Google review in my life, but after my visit to Hans im Glück Dresden today, I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I've never experienced anything like it - neither in terms of taste nor overall as a restaurant visitor. The food – just a disgrace: The bacon on my burger was a disaster. It was barely fried, no more than 40% cooked and absolutely inedible. There is no question of it being crispy, which is simply disappointing for a burger that is advertised as having bacon. But that was just the beginning. The absolute highlight of the disappointment was the beef patty. This taste fiasco really spoiled my appetite. Instead of tasting like juicy beef, the taste was reminiscent of the smell of an elephant stable - and that's no joke. If you don't believe me, you should visit the Dresden Zoo before or after and enter the elephant, giraffe or zebra enclosure - that's exactly how the patty tasted. It was so unpleasant that I seriously considered leaving the burger alone. My friend had a different burger, but even there the taste of the patty was identical: musty, stale, downright disgusting. Without the sauces the burger would have been simply inedible, and even with sauces it was a challenge to get it down. It's unbelievable that a place that advertises itself as quality and "fresh" would serve something like this. One can only assume that the meat was frozen and then simply warmed up carelessly - and at prices where you would expect fresh, high-quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the fries were just as disappointing. Fried way too long, hard and dry - a perfect example of how you can ruin even simple side dishes. Price-performance ratio – a disgrace: The two of us paid 45 euros for the lunch special. For that amount you would at least expect edible food, but what we were served was an absolute disgrace. I regret every single euro cent spent. If I had known what to expect, I would have preferred a simple currywurst for 5 euros - it would definitely have tasted better. Conclusion – never again: I'm so frustrated that I'm still writing this review at the restaurant. It's incomprehensible how a restaurant can survive with such bad food. While the drinks and service were fine, the food - the real reason you go to a burger restaurant - was so bad that it overshadowed everything else. To show my family at home how bad it really was, I had half of the burger wrapped up. I'm curious to hear their reaction because I'm sure they too will describe the taste as "pure elephant stable". I was at Hans im Glück five years ago and it's shocking how much the quality has deteriorated since then. Everything tastes like mass-produced goods, convenience products and, above all, poorly prepared. If you don't have high expectations of your food and are happy with convenience products, you can eat here. For me, however, one thing is certain: never again. Please avoid this experience and spend your money elsewhere. Hans im Glück disappointed me today not only in terms of taste but also emotionally - so much so that I will regret this visit for a long time.

Everything that happens in the restaurant is good to very good. A great selection of burgers, everyone should find something there. BUT the toilet (disabled & women) is a mess. It's disgusting, sticky - kind of unkempt. The faucet is broken, the toilet seat is outdated or not cleaned.

On December 30th, 2024, a spontaneous trip to Dresden - with an empty stomach... Were here late at noon, it was very well attended. Despite the stress, the staff were very friendly and the food came very quickly.

Hamburger restaurant that is very well located, with easy access through public transportation as well as by private vehicle. The place is very well decorated with excellent decoration. The staff's attention is very pleasant and fast, without being annoying or invasive. After seating us at the table, they give you time to read the menu before asking what you want to order, since you decide how to put together your menu (and your burger). There are two types of menus, one that works until 5:00 p.m. and the other that works after 5:00 p.m. The food was ready in less than 6 minutes. The menus are the ideal size. The burgers, sides and drinks were AMAZING. The cost per diner is approximately €15. 100% recommended!!!

Food was very good but unfortunately some of it wasn't really warm, service was great 👍but you should also pay attention to the toilets, they weren't clean.

The burgers were also bigger 😕 The taste was quite okay. Fries were served cold. If they had let them go back, the burger would have been cold by then. It wasn't like I would eat there again. However, the toilets are terrible. There hasn't been any cleaning in the corners here for months. You should put more emphasis on cleanliness there.

First of all, the most important point is the food. We both had burgers with sides and a cocktail. That was a menu one evening. The burgers and sides were delicious. I also had a fried egg on the burger. I can recommend. What I found very unfortunate was that there was a bit too much ice in the cocktail. But we were more than full. I can definitely recommend it to everyone.

The service was super nice, friendly and quick. However, the burger was only lukewarm and the non-alcoholic cocktails were a waste of money. No idea if this was due to the bartenders that night, as the cocktails look better in photos from other reviews. The cocktail was served with a mountain of ice cubes, so much so that they even fell onto the table while drinking. After drinking the cocktails, which happened very quickly, the glass was still full to the brim!!! with ice. You can calculate how much cocktail was actually in the glass:( what a disgrace given the prices...we were very disappointed.

Friday evening and luckily got a table. Otherwise it was very busy and we ate very tasty, high quality burgers. Unfortunately the price is also high. Still a recommendation.
