Burgerlich in Dresden

The QR codes and digital ordering are still very buggy. Otherwise just as good as you would imagine. :)

After a long time I was visiting again. Unfortunately, after my visit I now have a bad impression of the restaurant. The food still tastes great, but the service really leaves a lot to be desired. The interaction with the customer is very cool. In addition, ordering via the built-in tablet in the table is no longer possible. This is only possible via your own smartphone. Pretty bad idea, how do you make visits possible for older people?

I had ordered some things to take away on site, I was informed that the preparation could take up to 20 minutes, that's ok. But unfortunately I had to wait almost an hour for my things, which wouldn't have been the end of the world if parts of the order were already far from warm. And by that I don't mean the salad! The only stupid thing is that you have to choose the tip when you place the order. Otherwise I wouldn't have given one because of the long waiting time, but there's also good things to say. The sauces on the side are really great and if my burger had been a little warm, it probably would have been really tasty too

We wanted to reserve for two people. "We do not accept reservations for 2 people, but we always have a space available." The long line tells me otherwise... impudence.

Sooo delicious 🤤 the fries with chilly mayo with homemade basil lemonade and a chilly burger with a slice of avocado. Soooo delicious! Will you do this 10 euro campaign again for your birthday next year?! Really cool of you :)

Very tasty burgers, you get a small free drink while waiting for ToGo. 😀 Unfortunately I have to deduct stars now. The prices at Burgerlich have now reached crazy heights. I know it's getting more expensive everywhere in the restaurant industry, but you're exaggerating it a bit. So I'll stay away from Burgerlich for now until the prices become affordable again.

My visit here was really great. Tasty vege burger in menu. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Congratz to your 10th birthday

Rather average. Goes much better. The fact that I have to order from the restaurant via the app also takes some getting used to.

Totally delicious and inexpensive

Theoretically, ordering and paying works via a QR code at the table, but unfortunately there are severe mobile phone reception problems in the restaurant itself. No problem, there is guest WiFi. You think. However, the WiFi is so bad that the order keeps getting canceled and payment doesn't work either. That was very annoying. But food was okay. Not the best burger in town but good price. Food also came very quickly. Unfortunately, drinks only come later, when you've almost finished eating. Staff was very nice. It was very crowded and loud, so not the perfect location to sit for a bit longer.

Was there for dinner with my girlfriend. Had the birthday menu. She got the wrong burger, i.e. the wrong patty. After consulting with the waiter, the burger was taken away. It takes and takes and no new burger was brought. She had to ask again and then after another few minutes the correct burger was brought out. For both of us, the food wasn't really warm. We weren't the only ones with such problems...

Not so great... Service was unfriendly, Patty wasn't asked whether it was done or medium rare, I understand why, it was as thin as a slice of sausage. Fries were the worst ever, soaked in oil and only broke, chips also full of oil. Pooh. So I won't come here again, not even for a 10-piece bday menu.

Nice atmosphere in Burgerlich Dresden. But price performance, not justified. Many finished products and some of them are not well processed. Burgers are boring standard, fries cold and the cheese burnt black. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I tested it on my niece, it's not for me. We sat well, the soda was great, the service was attentive.

Really delicious food. Service was also more than friendly. What I have to complain about is that two people arrived at the table next to us about 15 minutes later and both of them had their citizens a good 10 minutes ahead of us. And the two of them ordered locally like we did.

We sat upstairs, very nice view, good music. Unfortunately the food was negative. Burgers 🍔 were okay, nothing earth-shattering. The salads were soggy/mushy tomatoes were not fresh. Bread is not toasted, as is actually offered everywhere. The fries and potato slices were far from crispy and warm. In short, apart from the milk saks, unfortunately nothing tasted good. Concept is good. The question is why the food was prepared this way.

The patty was burned, the bacon was super dry and the beer was as flat as a white woman's ass. That place made me think twice about ordering burgers in the future. Not worth the price at all. Very disappointing

This place is amazing. The food tastes good, the menu is expansive and you can customize your order if you want/dont want stuff in your burger. Also there are salads and 3 types of fries. They also have milkshakes but I didnt try those. If you're feeling F u N k Y then go on friday nights or on a weekend, cause there is a dj those days. However, the whole business model of the place is a bit scummy at places. Like when they try to trick you into thinking that the double patty is more worth it because it says 0€ and the single patty is -2€ , or the whole "semi-mandatory" tipping system they have. I wont deduct those from my rating but I would point those out. Also come early if you plan on sitting down. Otherwise, the food was great, staff was nice, 10/10

Unfortunately a lot expensive for what ends up on the plate. The food and prices didn't look particularly appetizing on the ordering tablets. When the food arrived the disappointment was even greater... completely carelessly prepared.

Super cool burger joint in Dresden. Convenient location and close to the hotels and train station. It can get busy, so book ahead and reserve if it is during peak times. I did not have to wait too long, so maybe I was lucky when I visited. The menu is via phone scan, which I don't mind. However this type of order system can be tiresome for some people. The burgers are great, super fresh produce is used and the veggies are crunchy. You get to choose how you want the meat cooked and can add on extra ingredients, really nice attention to detail. The sweet potato fries were delicious. I found the portions perfect for me, but if you want to eat a lot, you might need extra food like 2 sides or a dessert. The burgers are not massive or small in size, so it is ideal if you are quite hungry like I was. The service was efficient, not super friendly or smiley and that's probably the only downside I noticed. Still, this is a fabulous place if you like burgers and want to eat somewhere new. The basil lemonade drink was outstanding, make sure you try it! The atmosphere inside is relaxed, dark and chic. Good place to bring your friends or family. Thank you very much, cheers.

We were there yesterday and experiece was awull. Restaurant was half empty and waitress told as that they have no seats (upstaris was full just two tables) and we had to wait. We waited few minutes and two guests left, so another waiter told us she will have place for us, then came another waiter and told us we should sit there and previous waiter was upset we dident wait near cash desk, so we told her, that her colleagues told us to sit.... Food was cold. I ordered menu and they gave me a burger without drink and fries, when I claimed it lady with upset face gave me just fries (no drink) and I didnt want to bother myself with that anymore, so I didnt ask for a drink. I used to like this restaurant but after yestarday - never more. It was awfull, discusted experience

The burgers tasted good and arrived quickly, but they weren't really warm. Ordering concept is good for the younger generation (QR codes) but not for the older generation. service was okay. Since I come from the catering industry myself, I found the service very listless and disinterested. Food was slapped carelessly at you, you could work on the sound and a smile wouldn't go amiss either. At first I thought I was being too strict until a lady who was sat down at the table with her sons without asking confirmed the same thing. When we said thank you when we paid and wished you a nice day, there was only a monotonous goodbye. doesn't have to happen again now.

I must say that we stumbled upon this place by chance also because finding restaurants open on Sundays in Dresden is not easy... But I must admit that it was a nice surprise! Cozy although informal and modern, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was great, my sandwich was delicious! We had a moment of confusion about the orders (they have to be done online) but in the end we managed. Overall I would say recommended!!

Went to Burgerlich for the first time today and I was really disappointed. I have never experienced such bad service. The employees seemed annoyed, no smile, no eye contact when you tried to have a conversation. The food was literally slammed onto the table, and even the people sitting next to us just shook their heads. Even when I was paying, they didn't even look at me; they just held out the card machine and pointed out the tip. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. The burgers were good, although not that hot. The ordering system via QR code is terrible and was honestly overwhelmed by it.

Get a place for 5 people without a reservation. Thanks again.

One of the best Burger places in dresden

The food was very tasty, I just wished that the meat was medium rare and not well done, as requested. The sweet potato fries could also be a little crispier. Ordering food is easy via your mobile phone and you can also pay if you want. The waiters are very friendly and have a very cheerful manner

Good citizen and the fries too. Negatively true, the menu only offers mini lemonade and no cola. The worst thing I found was the ordering process. There is no menu, just use this QR code and order via your cell phone. If I had been there alone I would have left immediately. Which many probably do. Because the service is saved and a tiny drink in the menu is at least 2-3€ too expensive.

Very central location in the middle of the old town, very busy even during the week, reservation recommended. There is no service. The order is placed using your own cell phone and the hope of strong network coverage inside. Groups can order together and the food and drinks will then all be delivered together. The food itself was tasty and the portions were adequate for an adult. The fries can still catch up a bit in terms of crunchiness. The payment process is also contact-free via cell phone; the employees only ask when they leave, but there is no check. What made the experience worthwhile for me was my company, not the restaurant itself. There was nothing here that would make me want to go back.

A burger with double paddy in a wholemeal bun was ordered. A single paddy came, was taken back, then a double one came but in a normal bun. My Citizen with Becon was missing Becon. It was supposed to be delivered later, but the waitress didn't come and she was chatting at the counter. As an apology we were then given a coffee. We were always very satisfied, but this time the worm was in it. Let's see what it's like in December.

If you're a guest who wants to be treated really badly and taken for a fool, you've come to the right place at Burgerlich. Last night we wanted to go out for dinner as a couple and were sent away with the words “We are full.” When we asked, “Also on the upper floor?”, the answer was “Yes”. Now the restaurant is completely glazed and you didn't have to walk five meters to see from the outside that the upper floor was still almost empty. So we went back to ask the waitress who had just sent us away about it. We were told that the kitchen would be overwhelmed with so many guests and that we could have made a reservation. When we objected that you couldn't make a reservation at Burgerlich, we got the cheeky answer: "Obviously yes." No, you can't. We tried that before and were told on the phone that a reservation was not possible. By the way, this is also what it says on the homepage. Maybe the staff should be trained accordingly so that the stupid excuses are actually correct. How do you end up treating guests so badly? We had been regulars at Burgerlich for five years and visited once a month. That has now been resolved. A few hundred meters away we were served very nicely at “Hans im Glück”.

Burgers and salads were just mediocre and fries were flimsy - not crispy! The service, however, was very good.

Very nice restaurant. The burgers are good so far. But they're nothing special. The ingredients are fresh and crunchy. I don't think the concept of ordering yourself via the app is suitable. Then I can also order from Lieferando and sit down in a nice place. The food arrived quickly and warm. Personally, I miss the interaction with the waiters. The chain naturally saves personnel through the concept. However, you don't notice this in the price.

Hmm... You'll have to slowly stretch yourself to the big burger competitors in Dresden. Fries were soggy, burgers were incorrectly topped and all the sodas were just very sour. What happened there? Quality was definitely better before. Too bad

Modern citizen's restaurant in the middle of Dresden. Since you only order via app/QR code, you will be picked up and seated at reception. Ordering is done entirely via a digital card. Here you can form table groups and add yourself using your own cell phone, so everyone can individually search for what they like. The food and drinks came to the table quickly, in the classic manner by waitresses. Of course, they will help you with any questions at any time. Since you pay directly online (including a tip field), you can leave directly after your meal. Nice idea for a quick lunch break while shopping.

The food was delicious and the restaurant is very nice. Only the ordering system had to be changed because our order was lost, but at least we got 20% deducted from the price. What wasn't so cool was that we were charged a 20% tip at the checkout without asking or asking.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly service. We had the menu, burgers were all very good. But both fries and chips were totally "floppy" and cold, basil lemonade tasted like water with pesto and wasn't ours at all - unfortunately I have to discount that.

The restaurant looks very nice, but I think it's just not the same as it used to be. My burger was cold, fell apart and I had the stalk of lettuce on my burger. In addition, the service employee couldn't give me any recommendations when I asked him. I think a restaurant should always give the impression that you would want to eat in that restaurant again and that impression was simply not given at Burgerlich.

Very cool shop, nice staff and delicious burgers. What more could you want? The toilets were also very clean. When we are in the capital again, we will definitely come for lunch.

I love your burgers and especially the fries! You are by far the first restaurant that lets me, as a 25-year-old, order a children's menu and doesn't refuse it to me, thank you for that! Beautiful ambience. After paying, you can take an apple for free if you want.

We recently had something to eat here again... unfortunately the taste is no longer what it was about 3 years ago. About 3 years ago I still had the impression that I was eating a really nice, juicy burger, but this impression gradually moves away from me towards a “standard burger”. In addition, the order terminals sunk into the table in the restaurant have now been replaced by QR codes so that everyone can order with their cell phone - we all liked the old ordering system much better. Overall, I have to say that Burgerlich is unfortunately developing more and more towards mediocrity - a clear decline has been noticeable over the last few years :/

For me it's different than for the previous reviewer. The digital meant that for 10 of us we were able to start eating almost at the same time and really quickly.

Was there for the first time yesterday. The service is very nice and friendly. I had two vegetarian burgers there. Both were good to very good. I think it's great that you can have your burgers put together.

Dishes are mediocre in quality and size, especially for this price. Cesar salad is without chicken, steak is tough. On the good side is that children were given pencils and papers, good atmosphere and a children playroom on the second floor.

We had reserved a table for our birthday. We were actually told by phone that they didn't have anything in terms of decorations or anything... but when we arrived we found a beautifully decorated table... we were more than surprised. There was a drink and a small sweet for the birthday child... So thumbs up for this kind of service! There were 6 of us...drinks took less than 10 minutes. Our burgers were there within 20 minutes...all different and more than tasty. It was my first time there and I was really excited...so we're happy to recommend Buergerlich!

The fact that the cards were simply abolished is just enough to shake your head. I feel particularly sorry for older people when it comes to this technological stuff. But the location is very nice and the food was very tasty. Would definitely go there again.

Fries were a mix of stale and fresh fries. Hamburgers were cold. Dirty tables with no utensils. Online payment not working. Had to wait quite a bit just to pay.

Very tasty burgers, homemade dips with the fries and a good, tasty selection of drinks. Top service. You order with your cell phone and then everything is served to you. It's quick and easy. Absolute recommendation!!!

I used to like going to Bürgerlich. After many years I was in the area again and was unfortunately disappointed. Digital ordering is simply not my thing, but friendly service and appropriately clean and, above all, intact dishes are standard for me, even in a fast-food restaurant. For the prices I don't think it's reasonable anymore. Too bad!

I have been there several times to eat solid and liquid food. So far I have never been disappointed and it has always been a complete pleasure. The food was good. The charge for tap water was surprising . It’s the only place that we visited in Germany that defaulted to a 10% tip.

Can definitely be recommended. The hand-cut fries with grilled vegetables, a delicious garlic mayo and a delicious banana milkshake were convincing.

Ordering is complicated with a smartphone and it would be easier to just have a menu and call the waiter who would then take the order. Payment is also a bit complicated.

The concept of using your cell phone to place your order is a complete disaster. The burger was good but not a highlight, there are now other restaurants that are a bit better. What can be said positively is that food is brought out very quickly and that there is a play area for children.

Very good burger shop with nice and young staff. The prices are completely reasonable for the quality and the furnishings are modern and chic.

In short, McDonalds is 20% better and 40% more expensive. We sat outside and had to order via QR codes. This means we didn't exchange a word with the waiter, but asked for a tip at the end😂 The ordering process was like the MCs app. Lots of tactics to increase the value of goods 🤢 Eating yourself 1/5 Fries are soft, onion rings = just dough, burgers are a little better than MCs, but the meat has been minced 10 times and therefore no longer has any bite. Burgers are a little bigger than a BigMac, but cost €13. I'd rather go to a real burger restaurant. Will never go there again.

Unfortunately the quality of the meat wasn't the best. Unfortunately, my Argentine steak was like the sole of a shoe when I chewed it. However, the rest of the burger was great. Staff super nice, keep it up ;)

I love this store, but recently they no longer have trays so we had to order everything via cell phone, which was much more complicated and took longer. I hope the trays come back.

A nice place for young people...maybe also "healthier" than other certain places. We were warmly welcomed and the ordering system was briefly explained to us. I'm absolutely not a fan of looking through the menu on my phone and then you can't even deselect everything you don't like... or you can't even read what's on the burger in general... well, we found it complicated and we lacked communication with a waiter. But it's now fashionable not to talk anymore. And while we're at it...the music was way too loud, it wouldn't have been possible to have a conversation anyway. I found the selection clear and good. Something went wrong during the meal, an employee at the checkout fixed it, thank you for that. The taste was quite ok. The lemonades were great and the price was ok too. Cleanliness was given :)

For us a special experience on a special day. Very friendly welcome and explanation regarding the ordering system. It worked great too. Food came very quickly and was tasty and sufficient. Price performance ratio is great. You can sit outside and inside It's comfortable inside. If you want to observe life on Prager Straße, going outside is recommended. Highly recommended and we would love to come back.

It was a good experience! I arrived late because they have a special menu from 11:30am-3:00pm that costs €14 or so. The service is through their platform (QR on the tables) there you order everything and the waiters bring everything to the table, if you have any questions also through the app. The attention is very good as is the atmosphere. It is casual and has a good facade. I would say that with a drink and without a special, it is above €20/pp. The quantity is very good. They didn't have fries when I went :( I ordered some Sweetpotato instead, which is like fried sweet potato. I didn't finish my plate and they packed it for me to take away. Thank you.

I was traveling with a friend in Dresden and wanted to eat something and thought a self-made citizen would be perfect. Unfortunately, far from it. The ordering system takes a lot of getting used to and it took a while until we found a QR code that worked. Great for older people who never come into contact with something like that. After the complicated ordering process, the drinks came quite quickly and were quite good. Then we waited for the food and waited, while others who came much later and had their food sooner finally got ours. The patties were completely cold and tasteless and so were the fries. Yes, of course you can add more seasoning, but you would think that they are already seasoned. The next tragedy started when we paid. Since we hardly ever saw anyone from the service outside, we had to pay by cell phone. The tip was automatically taken into account and NO you couldn't change it. We both left and a waitress came and asked us if everything was okay and we just said that it was miserable and that we had never eaten such a bad and cold burger. And then paying a tip for it is an absolute disgrace. When we went out we noticed the pots in the shop window where you could see the cobwebs spreading. Well, appetizing is different. But the day was over for both of us, we got stomach cramps and diarrhea after eating and neither of us had eaten anything else beforehand. Once and never again.

We've always enjoyed coming, but unfortunately tonight left a lot to be desired. The biggest drawback: QR instead of integrated tablets. We and our family were the ones who A didn't have a cell phone with us and B couldn't do much with it. So I had to enter everything myself very laboriously and slowly. This worked much better with the trays before. Especially since you could browse there in peace. This doesn't work on a cell phone. The website is too slow for that. We couldn't find a WiFi code straight away. It would make sense to place this at the table. The food was good so far. Unfortunately there were many things not on the menu. No regular fries, no children's menu, etc. We finally got the "crispy fried" chips. Unfortunately, these were super sloppy. Unfortunately, the visit has meant that we will probably be there less often. It's a shame, you were once our favorite in DD.

But if you're like me and only have a small battery and data volume or don't have a smartphone at all, you'll look old. It's nice that you can still order in groups so that everyone gets their food at the same time. Payment is also possible digitally, even if only via Google/Apple Pay or credit card. If you don't like that, you can also pay in person in cash or with EC. Food and drinks came quickly, even if the burgers had been sitting for a while. We had a bacon cheeseburger and a California love with chicken. Unfortunately, the parmesan was partly wrong with the chicken burger and had already been able to sweat under the heating lamp. Unfortunately, I was also a bit unlucky today as my fries were mostly broken. But it was always tasty. Overall, good burgers at reasonable prices, unfortunately the ambience has a very bland aftertaste. We'll probably come less often now and try out the other burger shops in the city center.
