Burgerei in Dresden

This was the biggest tourist scam I have ever experienced. The prices seemed okay at first, 7€ for fries and 9.50€ for a cheeseburger. When I got the food it was incredibly small and I was not full after eating it. I also asked for no pickles and tomatoes, but got it with pickles. My friend ordered a burger without sauce, which was not fulfilled and he almost threw up. I do not recommend going here unless yoh plan to spend more money than anticipated.

There were two of us, and we paid almost €50 for two burgers with fries – and the meal was absolutely not worth the money. Half the burger was very cold, the bun was far too soft and fell apart, the meat was thick but small, and the fries were overcooked. On top of that, the place was extremely hot with no air circulation whatsoever – it felt like a sauna. After eating, I felt sick and had an unpleasant feeling in my stomach. It's truly disappointing to pay so much money for such poorly prepared food. Even McDonald's would have been far better than this burger. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

Absolutely top-notch. A young and dynamic team with incredibly delicious burgers. The meat was so tasty that I really have to think about whether I've ever had such good meat before. I can highly recommend Cowboy.

Very long waiting times, incorrect deliveries, waited an hour for the bill and then, despite explicit notice that no tip was due, the tip was still stolen.

I am really disappointed with my recent visit. I ordered a chicken burger, but when it arrived, the meat was visibly raw in the center clearly undercooked and unsafe to eat. I brought it to the staff’s attention, and while they offered to make a new one, I never received an apology or any real acknowledgment that this was a serious issue. Mistakes can happen, but food safety and customer care are basic expectations in any restaurant. A sincere apology and a bit of accountability would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left me with no confidence in their kitchen or service standards.

There are some great burgers on the menu, but unfortunately, they're cooked all the way through (I can only speak for the beef patty), which makes the whole thing a bit dry. The service is very friendly and attentive. When the place is busy, the noise level is a bit like a train station. Unfortunately, when we left the restaurant, we noticed that everything on us—jackets, sweaters, hair, etc.—smelled of frying oil, which I personally always find very unpleasant.

Unfortunately, this time the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through and had some stringy bits, which wasn't so great. Despite the stress of the day, the service was super friendly, competent, and quick.

Very disappointing for a burger restaurant. They advertise homemade patties. Our meat was very firm and not well seasoned. They also look unloved. The plates are bland. They only serve the burger and nothing else – no nice salad garnish, etc. The saying "food is what you eat with your eyes" unfortunately doesn't apply here. The drinks take forever to come out. You get your food first, then your ordered drink.

Nice ambiance, very slow service, okay burgers, but not outstanding. The patty-to-bun ratio is unbalanced. The fries, including sweet potato fries, are very tasty, though.

We only had a Smash Burger, which was tasty but a bit overpriced at €10 for its modest size. Since there were too many wasps outside, we sat inside and were very pleasantly surprised by the nice decor. (22 + 2 / 32 ALPs)

I went for lunch with my son. The burger was super delicious, the salad was 🥗 very fresh and tasty. The service was fantastic...very friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

It's definitely worth a visit. The food was good, but could be improved. The menu is varied, with some really nice variations.

The burgers are good, the selection is great, the kitchen team is really fast – but the service is absolutely terrible. There were maybe 10 tables occupied and at least 5 people serving. So, they're actually very well staffed. But: Orders are only taken if the customer makes themselves known or goes to the server. Asking for anything else – unfortunately, no response. Even after we went to the bar to order something, no one learned a lesson. We continued to sit at our table "unattended." What a shame. We're not used to this place.

Phew, what can I say? I'll try to describe it briefly and succinctly. The burger was okay and well prepared. The coleslaw was tasty, the fries were nothing special. However, the price was far too high for the quality. Spezi, coleslaw, burger, and fries at €27 was too expensive for me personally.

The burgers and fries are perfectly fine, but nothing special. The tables could use a bit of wiping, and the napkins were also out. But we didn't get there until around 8 p.m. I would go there again, even if it's a bit more expensive for the portion size.

Very tasty burgers. I was also super happy that my "special requests" due to my food intolerances were no problem. The central location with a view of the Frauenkirche is also great, of course. Prices are fair. If we're ever in Dresden again, we'll be happy to come back. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate there as a group. The atmosphere is really nice, right next to the Frauenkirche. The food tasted just okay. The fries weren't crispy, and the vegetarian smash burger wasn't very good either. The homemade iced tea tasted absolutely artificial, and that's for the price! To make matters worse, two people in our group got upset stomachs and spent the entire night in the bathroom... For over €30 per person, I definitely expect better!

Whenever we're in Dresden, the Burgerei is a must for us. From the table reservation to the food and drinks and the service, everything is excellent. We've never experienced anything else. The burgers are fresh, the drinks are delicious, and the service is very friendly.

A very nice burger restaurant with great service, friendly and accommodating. The food was slightly undercooked, but the taste was very good. The outdoor ambiance is very nice, and the restaurant is very centrally located.

Very nice place. Delicious burgers and fries! The smashed potatoes are amazing, and the mini burgers are really tiny 🤣 We sometimes had to wait a bit for service. It seemed like there was only one person taking orders and four serving and clearing away.

We had a Smashburger, which was much too small for the price of €9.50. The large fries for €9 were a very small portion. Perhaps it should be noted that the burgers are smaller.

The food is delicious. The cocktails are delicious too. We've barely seen any service on both of our previous visits. Everyone is hectic all the time, and no one really has time. I think they're lacking staff. I don't like waiting half an hour for someone to take my order. And if I want to order something else, it's a good idea to have a waiter nearby.

We ate at the Burgerei in August last year and we really enjoyed it. Burgers were delicious. We would eat here again.

I was very disappointed today. A few years ago, I used to go to this restaurant on and off, and on my visit this time, I sat at a dirty table and received a very salty burger made of very sauced meat, and I couldn't find any lettuce. I politely pointed out to the waiter that it was quite salty, and he quickly dismissed this constructive criticism without taking it seriously. It's a real shame, but this will be my last visit here.

Nice restaurant, but the burgers weren't as tasty as they used to be. The staff were very nice and friendly.

One star for the friendly service. There were no other positive experiences. The burger buns were cold and dry. The patty was raw and undercooked, with a very distinctive, musty taste. The fried onions on the burger were ice-cold. The choleslaw was sour. The homemade passion fruit iced tea was pure red strawberry sugar water. I politely pointed this out on the spot. There was no response. It really wasn't good. The price/performance ratio was not right. Never again.

Unfortunately, the burger buns were cold, the burgers were too small, and overall, it was too expensive. The fries were soggy. The drinks were rather mediocre. A plus point for the gluten-free burger buns. The atmosphere was great. Overall, unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it much.

The quality has noticeably declined. I was really disappointed with the smashed burger. It was more like a McDonald's, but the burger was also a bit small and served in paper. Considering it's featured prominently on the menu, it's actually nothing. It came with lukewarm fries and two tasteless sauces, one of which was at least a bit spicy, but you couldn't taste the cheese sauce at all (9€!). The summer bowl was okay. The cocktails were good. The service could also improve a bit. When ordering, the burger was mixed up but reordered without any problems, and the beer I ordered came without a glass. Maybe that's common practice these days, but they could at least ask if a glass is desired. It could of course be that I have too high expectations, but for the money you spend there, you don't get enough served these days. I can't recommend it.

After many years, I paid a second visit to the burger joint yesterday. I was disappointed the first time, and unfortunately, I was disappointed yesterday too. The burgers were completely overstuffed, with little meat and cheese. My chicken was not of great quality and undercooked in places. The buns were completely soggy from far too much sauce. The sweet potato fries were unseasoned, soggy, and very greasy. The drinks were also not to our liking. However, we did get a free coffee as compensation. The servers were all very friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, the chicken burger was very greasy. I would have expected breast fillet for that price. The cocktails are low in alcohol. Overall, disappointing. All side dishes cost extra. The burgers were small. We went home hungry. The only thing that was good was the service.

The burger was tasteless and had extra big 8 jalapeños which is extra for Mexicans burger. On top of thaw burger was served very cold and meat was like stone. Never had such a bad burger … we did not finished and left the half…

I don't usually write many reviews, only when something is truly amazing, and this restaurant is definitely one of them. Extremely friendly service, delicious food, and the perfect portion for the price. If you like burgers and are in Dresden, you definitely shouldn't miss this place. Top burger restaurant Located right next to the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), with a lovely outdoor area. The burgers didn't look particularly appealing, but the taste was absolutely recommendable. The burgers are a good size. The loaded fries with guacamole and tomato relish were also very tasty and not too greasy. EC card payments accepted. Dogs welcome. Definitely recommend.

I admit that my gluten and lactose intolerance automatically makes me a "difficult customer." I was so looking forward to the "crab party." Like Bikinibotton 😪 The hamburger I ordered instead was phenomenal! So much so, in fact, that I had to order another one! 🫶🏻 A little constructive criticism for the waiter: he looked after us, and there's no arguing about that. It's just that his bad mood was definitely noticeable, a little bit, and his behavior made it clear that it wasn't his day, and that's okay, it can happen... Personal life should be separate from work anyway 😉 Nevertheless, I'd be happy to come back 💪🏻

Probably the best place for burgers arround main square of Dresden, big selection to choose from, vegetarian options, chicken, beef, pork, pulled, mashed, etc. We took the classic beef and came back to repeat it, it was worthy 😋👍🫶

We've been to the burger place several times. They have a wide selection of burgers (including veggie options), the food comes out quickly, and it's delicious.

Great restaurant, nice, friendly, and competent staff. Highly recommended. If we're ever in Dresden again, we'll be happy to return.

We came for the afternoon menu, and they have a very good variety of options, which include a side dish. The waiter was very friendly and took the time to explain how the menu works. The atmosphere is wonderful, with a stunning view of the Frauenkirche. It's a quiet, clean, and peaceful place. Overall, a perfect place to eat and spend the afternoon, with wonderful service that's always attentive to your needs.

I've never eaten such a bad Smash Burger! The Smash Burger had nothing to do with a Smash Burger! And the onions were completely tasteless :/ The table was also very dirty and sticky.

Service: The language was incomprehensible and the tone was rather poor. Later, a friendly and understanding employee came along, but unfortunately, in the end, the first one came again. Food: We were at Peterpane today with four people, and the burgers, or rather, the fries, were worlds better. (Everyone tries everyone's.) That's what prompted me to write this review, as I wouldn't visit this restaurant again, even if I were comparing myself to this one. My review was written in a completely neutral manner, and I wasn't particularly negative or positive.

What we wanted to order was sold out, so we decided on something else. Our order was completely messed up, and things were swapped. We pointed this out, but the oven in the kitchen was already off, so there wasn't much they could do. One of the staff simply took the jalapeños out, which didn't make it any less spicy. As compensation, we were given one of the drinks. The rolls tasted the same as the day before, and the food in general wasn't so convincing that I would visit the restaurant again. The server was nice, though.

I had a Green Smashed Cheeseburger, which tasted okay, but was also very small, with barely a lettuce leaf and hardly any vegetables. I expected more. The fries were good (a small portion is really small here!), and the service was fast and professionally friendly. Yes, the place is located in a tourist hotspot, which has to be taken into account when setting prices, but I still don't think the food is good value for money.

Das Essen war zwar ziemlich schnell da, jedoch waren die Pommes sehr lasch und absolut nicht knusprig. Mein Burger bestand hauptsächlich nur aus Fleisch. Die Burgersauce war kaum spürbar und die restlichen Zutaten gingen bei dem vielen Fleisch unter. Obwohl im Lokal nicht viel los war, mussten wir sehr lange warten, um zu zahlen. Immerhin war der Kellner freundlich.

Honestly, I don't know what justifies the price for these relatively small burgers. Even though they taste okay, the service is fast and friendly, and the ambiance is quite stylish, with fries, the price easily adds up to €20 just for the meal. Drinks are on top of that. So it might be a change to go here for a burger, but you could certainly get more for your money somewhere else.

It was my first time there, but unfortunately the service takes a long time if you don't make yourself known when the order is taken. Even after ordering, you have to be patient until the drinks arrive. (The table next to me, for example, waited 45 minutes for three drinks.) It wasn't that busy inside, but it seemed busy outside... The food, however, is very good and tastes absolutely delicious.

Delicious burgers are reasonably priced, but you have to order small fries for €4, large ones for €7. Side dishes are expensive. Friendly service. Nice and cozy inside. Outside in the sunshine, too.

Good citizen prices but quite high

Food was very good, the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant and the staff was very customer friendly, if I have 2 points of improvement it took a while before we could pay and that it is automatically expected that you give a tip on top of what you have consumed (like in America) I find a bit antisocial if I may be honest if I want to give a tip then I do not give a tip otherwise not. All in all a good restaurant with good food, a pleasant atmosphere and customer friendly people.

My boyfriend's burger was cold, soggy on the bottom, and therefore unfortunately inedible for him. His fries were too salty. My burger was okay but definitely not perfect. I'm giving it two stars because my sweet potato fries and drink were delicious. Unfortunately, we still can't recommend the restaurant.

We came here because they advertise gluten-free burgers. The bun is available gluten-free, but unfortunately the burger sauce isn't, so we were very disappointed. Not worth it for us. A shame.
