Burgerei in Dresden

Fast service, nice people, accommodating special wishes for the burger and also a nice chocolate cake (forgot to take a picture)

We went to the Burgerei for dinner on a Saturday evening. The visit was mixed. Positive: + friendly staff (e.g. asking whether the food tastes good) + lots of choice, including vegetarian options + delicious drinks + delicious burgers Negatives: - Price-performance doesn't suit us (examples: the smashed burgers are very small, you actually have to take a double one / the desserts are quite expensive) - In our opinion, the staff were overwhelmed or uncoordinated, there was a lot of running around and, for example, drinks were forgotten at our table - no coat rack, so jackets have to hang over the chairs - high background noise All in all, we definitely think there are better burger restaurants in and around Dresden.

Unfortunately it wasn't the visit we had hoped for. The price is clearly too high for the size of the burgers. Rather carelessly prepared and the meat was no longer warm. No further questions when the drinks were gone, service could be improved!

Reservations are absolutely necessary

After a long time we were back at the Burgerei. Were very disappointed with how everything turned out. Burgers were better and above all warmer and better prepared earlier. Since there are alternatives in Dresden, we will use them. Too bad

Food is good, unfortunately the desserts could have been a little better, so I'll save the money and get one somewhere else afterwards xD But otherwise a great local

Great ambience, friendly service and fast service. Unfortunately, the burgers were a bit poor compared to other burger shops (McDonald left out). The buns were less fluffy and a bit stale. Meat is okay, but the side dish is a bit boring. The fries also tasted stale, as if I was just eating "takeaway fries" at home. Maybe we chose the wrong burgers, but given the selection of burger shops we have here in Dresden, it's not difficult to choose someone else. Sorry, but that's it.

Delicious burgers and drinks (I tried iced tea and soda). Very nice staff. And the dessert was delicious for chocolate lovers

Honestly, the service is bad. The waitresses scurry haphazardly around past guests who have been waiting for 30 minutes. The service constantly passed us by and we already made our presence felt. Other guests have already left because they weren't served. We and other guests were already frowning at each other. When you finally got served, the food came relatively quickly, as it should. There's nothing to complain about in terms of taste, nor are the portions. But unfortunately we no longer come here for this service. Too bad

Stable burgers, prices are okay. you can partially see the kitchen. The order was processed quickly and correctly. The waiter was very friendly. The selection is good, but the portions of fries could be a little larger. In the end I had to order a burger for dessert :-) The restaurant is nicely decorated, nice atmosphere. If I'm in Dresden again I'll definitely come back.

I think this is one of the few 5/5 star reviews that I can give with complete conviction. THE tip for all burger lovers! Great variants, whether with or without meat, special requests are processed immediately, great cocktails, very friendly and very fast service. Really everything, everything perfect. We'll be back!

Nice cozy but modern atmosphere. Good and friendly service. Great location right on Neumarkt. There was a lot going on and the waiting time was okay. However, I wouldn't come back for a burger. The meat was rather hard and dry. And somehow sauce was missing too. It was just a roll with meat and iceberg lettuce. I expected something different from a 'burger factory'. But it was still a nice evening. Thanks for that.

Average burgers and basically friendly staff who are obviously dissatisfied with the working conditions.

Well, I've been to a lot of restaurants now, but that's the only thing I've ever had. We had to wait almost an hour and a half just for the drinks. The food wasn't there yet and in the end I was shocked. I mean €42 for a burger that was smaller than my iPhone iPhone 14 is already borderline and that's why I can only say it's better not to do it. If you go somewhere else, go to McDonald’s. Go to Burger King, you'll get better service there with a menu and you'll get a better deal in terms of price, so I can't recommend it. And I don't want to say anything bad and the cocktail had far too much alcohol in it. There was no response to inquiries. Then we wanted to have another seat, which was only 2 m across from the window, because we were sitting pretty much in the aisle and even that wasn't possible and was not too politely denied. So I can only say not again, that was the worst experience and yes

Unreal burgers, they were so good and came out super quickly. Loaded fries were also unreal, can’t recommend enough, loved everything

What unfriendly staff. At the lecture I called to reserve a table for two people. Worked great. All good until then. We arrived on time, giving names, time and number of people. No reservation available... we caught a glimpse of the list. 15 minutes later the name was entered but for 4 people. We explained the facts and the call the day before. The mushy answer: “Give me proof.” Caller log from the phone: “It’s no evidence for me.” I mean, things can go wrong, but things like this are a total mess.

Staff is very friendly and personable. Our burgers and sweet potato fries with truffle mayo were delicious!

We’ve decided to get a lunch there with my family, when we came in, half of the restaurant was empty Besides this fact we were seated next to the toilet, no menu in English was given to us and we had to use the translator to get any hold of understanding what’s in the menu When the waiter came to get the order, we’ve placed the order for the drinks but still had some question about the food (whether there were French fries included with the burger, etc) to which I was rudely cut off, interrupted and told to take my time before ordering, after which the waiter simply walked away. 10 minutes later the drinks were still not on the table (considering that we’ve ordered 3 colas and 1 aperol spiritz), and the food order was not yet taken from us When we stood up to cancel the order, we were told that now we HAVE to make an order because our drink were ready ( which was not true, since there was not a single person at the bar preparing the orders, and no prepared orders ready to be served). Only after mentioning that I work in gastro industry myself and know how this works did they let us go and cancelled the order

So the smash burgers are very tasty. Sweet potato & regular fries are ok. I would recommend just ordering the smash burger twice.

The food was very poor, the meat had little flavor, the bun was soaked and the fries were dripping with grease. We waited a long time for the bill. I don't recommend it, it's better to go to another popular burger restaurant with a tree-like atmosphere

I've been there twice now and both visits were great. Delicious food, including the vegan versions. Nice and quick service. Won't be the last time.

I called them about the desired delivery and was told that I should do it via Lieferando or Wolt. No problem, said and done. However, a few minutes later my order was rejected/cancelled for no apparent reason. What a shame! Then in my opinion you don't need to refer to it beforehand. It's a shame because it's one of the few restaurants in Dresden with gluten-free alternatives...

We were there for the second time and it was good, the food was delicious, the service was very nice and attentive and the atmosphere was great.

Nice restaurant, nice service and delicious drinks. The burger was tasty and the portion was also reasonable. Unfortunately, the patty (beef) was dry and boring, which is unfortunately now standard in so many large community stores. Still a well-rounded overall impression.

We were here again on New Year's Eve 2024. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point from the food because the meat in the burger was only lukewarm. But this is definitely due to the preparations for the New Year's Eve rush, so I take it with a wink. Otherwise, gladly again.

Highly recommended. So when it comes to selection, it's perfect, not too much, not too little. We had a very friendly waiter and were always served quickly even though it was very busy, and the food was also very, very quick - I would say 15 minutes for 3 people and 2 side dishes. So if you're looking for a cozy restaurant with friendly staff, this is the perfect one and can only be recommended.

Because of the rain, we spontaneously went to the burger shop today. We were warmly welcomed by our dachshund lady. A bowl of water was immediately brought to us and the request for a plate of cream for the dachshund lady was fulfilled. The coffee was of course also very tasty. We didn't eat anything, so no review! Thank you for this extremely nice service!

Burger shop. Quite tasty, but nothing special.

Yesterday we had dinner with eight people. Unfortunately, the reviews are not comprehensible. The atmosphere was nice but my jackets smelled extremely like grease afterwards. Service was great. Food came quickly. But the smashed burgers were very simple. Just cucumber and a little sauce like a McDonald’s hamburger. Too expensive for that. Cowboy Burger was OK. But Bun falls apart super quickly. Party a bit small. Too well fried. Fries were good. Conclusion. Once is enough.

We visited Burgerei expecting a great meal, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The menu listed the pulled pork burger as containing beef, which influenced our order. However, when the burger arrived, it was just pork and sauce—no beef at all. We raised the issue with the server, but instead of offering a proper solution, he simply said the boss only allows a 10% discount, and that was it. Honestly, this was unacceptable given the misleading menu description. We left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. If you’re expecting what’s advertised on the menu, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

This evening we ordered 7x special burgers for 10€ each, 2x cheeseburgers for 9€ each, 2x large salads for 10€ each and large fries for 7€ and picked them up (to go). Overall, everything is very tasty, the ingredients are high quality and the preparation was very quick, even though the restaurant itself was very busy. However, for the money we would have expected larger portions or a reasonable price, that's my personal opinion. We realize that the location here in Dresden and the ingredients are worth and cost money. However, this is a point to ponder. Thank you

In terms of quality, it's a good citizen's restaurant, but it's a bit more expensive. The service was particularly friendly from the greeting to the farewell, even if there were brief language problems. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not flexible when it came to small deviations from the standard dishes. This restaurant can only be recommended to a limited extent for people with food allergies. The corresponding menu has significant errors that are known to the employees - but why no adjustments are made remains unclear... It was also noticeable that an employee who had obviously injured his foot had to continue working (according to his own statement) - very worrying from the management... Let's hope that those responsible here make changes to these points!

After 5 years we finally went to the Burgerei again because we always liked it here, but unfortunately we were very disappointed this time. The taste has deteriorated considerably for us here, which is actually a shame.

The food was fabulous. The order arrived quickly and was still super tasty. I would eat there again in a heartbeat. In general, the menu seems well thought out and the portions are completely sufficient. So I have a clear recommendation

We were really craving burgers yesterday 🍔! Unfortunately we were quite disappointed! The dry aged burger was carelessly made, the bun was dry and the meat was not medium as desired but more than well done! The whole thing costs just 19 euros! Unfortunately, the lunch menu with the chicken burger wasn't any better. The meat was almost cold, the cheese had no taste. Only the accompanying salad was good! The price-performance ratio is not right in this restaurant!

We spontaneously ate at the Burgerei today. The burgers were great and sufficient. Side dishes can be chosen. We thought it was great. The service was super friendly and quick. The only drawback was the toilets. How some ladies indulge in this is incomprehensible and embarrassing. I can only feel sorry for the staff.

Spontaneously asked for a table with 10 people on Friday evening and the impossible was made possible and we got a table. Super tasty burgers and simply great service. A good Christmas playlist for the moment. Simply perfect. Full marks. Keep it up!

The food was good, the burgers and fries were delicious, especially the cheese sauce on the fries. However, the price is very high, hence only 4 stars. The shop is otherwise very crowded, with little space between the tables

We were there for the first time on Saturday evening, prime time, with a slightly larger group. The place was packed to the ceiling. The waitresses were always super nice, courteous and quick. Food tasted great and came very quickly despite the store being full. Large selection, including vegetarian options. Had a vegetarian burger (sounded too good) and sweet potato fries - both absolutely delicious! Pulled burgers also very good. We will definitely come back and can recommend it. The only kind note to the restaurant - even if it's full, take a look at the toilets, they looked very "used" by the women at the end 😉🙈 Thank you for a great Christmas gathering with friends.

Never eaten such bad citizens, the bread was cold and sticky and everything fell apart after complaining and got the same thing again, that's not possible, every snack bar is better than here

Sehr gutes und leckeres Essen. Cool finde ich das es auch Gerichte ohne Brot gibt. Man muss also nicht zwingend nen Burger essen. Die hausgemachte Limo ist auch sehr lecker und erfrischend. Wir kommen wieder.. 🙂

It is a really cozy place in the center of Dresden. I loved the cheese burger and the cowboy burger. Maybe i would have liked the option to make the lemonade smaller even though it was very tasty. The staff was really nice also, I loved this place!!

We are very disappointed with the service and quality of the dishes at this restaurant. The waiter, who was obviously not German, was extremely rude: he didn't wish us a bon appetit, didn't ask if everything was OK, and didn't even say goodbye. It seems that the staff does not know the basic rules of etiquette at all. As for the burgers – that was a complete fiasco. The vegetables were completely cold, the rolls were hard, and the sauce was almost non-existent. All of this made the dish absolutely inedible. The restaurant has deteriorated significantly compared to previous years. We will never come back and cannot recommend it to anyone. Management should pay urgent attention to training staff and improving food quality if they want to win back their customers.

The restaurant is modernly decorated and the staff is really friendly. There is a large selection of food and drinks, some of which are a little more unusual and have funny names. The homemade iced tea was very tasty. Unfortunately, the selection for people with a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle is somewhat limited. It's nice that there is still something available, but it's a real shame that on the one hand you have to pay extra for a vegan bun and on the other hand you have no alternative if, as in my case, it is not available. Unfortunately, the fries weren't crispy and the free sauces didn't convince me either. There's ketchup, mayo (you have to pay extra for vegan mayo) and BBQ (which isn't even vegetarian because it contains anchovies). As a vegan eating guest, I would like more accommodation without being discriminated against in terms of price. If this hadn't been a pre-planned large group meal, I probably would have chosen another place. The noise level was also a bit high and the toilets were very far away in the basement. For larger groups there are few large tables, as there are mainly booths for four.

Taste: Chicken and fries delicious, burgers quite good, especially the Goose Pulled Porker Burger was good. The sauces average. Try it.

We were here 11 months ago and wanted something “breakfast”. The food was also ok but the service was unfortunately bad. Maybe the operation was new? We had only received our order incomplete and even when we asked, this was not completely corrected. Then we ran out of time. I was still allowed to pay the full price. Today I receive a message from Google that my review is being deleted due to defamation. So this is how you deal with criticism? Actually, I would have even tried it again with you and maybe corrected my review, but the store definitely doesn't see me that way anymore.

The two of us wanted to eat at the burger restaurant when it wasn't busy. Unfortunately we weren't served and left again. I later wrote this in a Google review. The operator then reported me for defamation. That's how service works.

I ate here a few years ago. I and my companion absolutely didn't like the burgers and I gave them a 2 star rating. Due to the alleged embellishment of my own average rating, my review has now been deleted due to defamation. Therefore unfortunately only 1 star.

Even though it was busy in the evening they were able to offer a good place for the 3 of us. Unfortunately the service was very slow. It took quite some time before you could order. Some of the food was repeatedly brought to the wrong tables. If you have drinks and food in front of you, you can really enjoy it. Great drinks and great food. I think the prices are too high, even if the location is so close to the Dresden Frauenkirche.

A lot of love has been put into the food and it tastes fabulous. The food is ready very quickly, warm and juicy. The staff is very nice and helpful. The staff is very well organized. The intern was very nice and very well organized. I can only recommend it. <3

We got a table even without a reservation. The service was friendly and attentive. The food came quickly. The larger burgers were very tasty as were the fries. The view of the Frauenkirche was very beautiful.

The Burgerei is a nice hamburger restaurant in cozy Dresden. There is a lot of choice and the taste of the burgers is excellent. What else can you say about it: They are hamburgers, they are fries and something like mayo, there can't be much wrong with that. It is also a cozy and busy restaurant. If you want to eat quietly, you should choose something else.

We were here for lunch. Nice atmosphere, the burgers were tasty, the side dishes were okay, but the waiter's service really left a lot to be desired. Starting with an unfriendly greeting and ending with incredibly annoyed and disrespectful comments when asked about the dish.

Best Gluten Free burger ive ever had! Serving is super fast, we waited like 5 minutes for 3 burgers and some fries, the waiter is kind and helpful, and also speaks fluent english!

The food is good. Unfortunately the burger bun was cold. Great praise - we were accommodated with the bill. We had to get the drinks and menu from another table after 5 minutes. The food and drinks came very quickly. Deduction for the ambience... At the end we had the feeling that a "cage fight" was taking place in the kitchen. The noises were very disturbing. The way to the toilet could be better signposted... I got lost on the way back😅🤷
