I had dinner here with friends on Thursday last week. The food was very good, but above all the service was very, very friendly :)

Everything was great, perfect, the only thing was that we had a place where it was a bit difficult, but this was certainly due to the fact that we had a wheelchair user with us and he also wanted a place, for this reason a table where the wheelchair could stand without disturbing others. SUPER

Ate there for the first time and was super satisfied. Burger 1A, service very attentive and friendly. Great value for money!

Hello, I'm sitting here in the sun and have just enjoyed the best citizen in the city of Bochum, not in Hattingen or anywhere else I've been and I can say that with a clear conscience as a Belgian gourmet lady! I am also impressed by the inexpensive lunch menu and its large portion! The drinks are also homemade and huge! So trust my positive review and come by, and your children will be thrilled too!!! I had a great visit to Hans im Glück! The ambience was very inviting and modern, and the service was friendly and attentive. The burgers were simply excellent – ​​freshly prepared and very tasty.

Hans im Glück in Bochum is the perfect address for all burger lovers! The atmosphere is cozy, the food is always fresh and delicious – whether with meat, vegetarian or vegan. If you are looking for a relaxed evening with really good burgers, you should definitely stop by here!

We went there for dinner with friends in the evening, the selection of different types is good and there are also specials including a side dish and cocktail plus the price of a burger. The service was very friendly and was able to answer all questions. The food came after a short time and tasted good. The toilets are in the basement and can only be reached via trepoons. Since the restaurant is in the pedestrian zone, you have to park somewhere else if you arrive by car. We were satisfied and would like to come back.

Today the four of us ate at Hans im Glück in Bochum. We have been there several times and have been satisfied so far, which is why I don't want to give a 1-star rating. A friend ordered, among other things, a salad with a nut dressing. Unfortunately the salad dressing tasted musty, but we also tried the salad and all three had the same impression. We then let you know. Unfortunately, we were only offered a new salad with the same dressing because the employee didn't smell anything unusual... Service is different, we didn't feel taken seriously. We then saved the tip and went out to eat a salad at the competition, which was tasty. Hans im Glück won't see us anymore...

A family with 2 kids were here for lunch. The atmosphere immediately caught our attention and the kids were fascinated with the interiors. The server was very warm and friendly and immediately offered the kids with sketch sheet and colours which was nice. We ordered vegetarian burgers with avacado cream and another with grilled vegetables and kids vegan meal. The burgers were super delicious and the dips were just too good! Very good portion and quite filling. We'd love to go back again and would further recommend.

-- ORDERED VIA UBER EATS -- It was my first time ordering from Hans im Glück and I was absolutely speechless at how good the fries were and they were delivered themselves. These are by far the best fries of my life, really crispy, homemade and super salty. The smashburger was also very tasty, as were the sauces and also the churros for dessert with the vanilla sauce. Real quality food. Clear recommendation!

We ordered from HiG today and the food was horrible!! We've always had good experiences, but this time it was really bad! The meat smelled really strange and tasted/smelled like a dead goat or something. just like it was rotten... NEVER AGAIN😖

Service and ambience were good as always, but the burger patty became inedible! It's no longer a normal patty made from 100% beef, but rather a flattened meatball, which means there's something mixed in and no longer tastes good. The consistency is rubbery and reminiscent of the prepackaged meatballs from Aldi. Is this a money saving method?

Very comfortable and every wish is catered for. The food tastes very, very good and the employees are always available for a little word and a little joke. Just great!!!!! We always enjoy coming back.

Very tasty vegetarian burgers and finally benches with backrests. I really like the atmosphere with the birch tree trunks. It feels quaint! The service was very friendly and accommodating right from the start and we were also immediately offered water for the dog. Great food. The taste is intense and everything is super fresh. You can taste the ingredients individually because it's not "burger mush". Service was very friendly after it had thawed a bit. Unfortunately I have to update my report. It's about delivery. In 4 orders I ordered a pepper rim, paid for it and in 3 cases I didn't receive it. A message from me was replied to with a flat apology and that support would like to contact me for compensation. That was an empty promise. My follow-up twice was ignored, even though I was promised feedback. Evil tongues might think that this has structural features.

Sehr gutes Exemplar der Kette, sehr Kinderfreundlich! Hier hat es auch eine sehr schön eingerichtete Bar. Ich habe in letzter Zeit die vegetarischen Burger probiert und kann diese sehr empfehlen. Auch bemerkenswert ist das schnelle freundliche und umsichtige Personal, dass einen hier immer hervorragend bedient. Meine Familie und ich kommen sehr gerne wieder!

To be honest, I thought about what to write for a long time... we were there with 5 people... and everyone was thrilled... except for me... everyone had fatty burgers and had problems with them to finish... only I was a bit disappointed... I personally had the companion... and in hindsight I would have preferred to order 2... but I've never really eaten such a brilliant burger before... of course He was maybe a little smaller than the others... but the chicken breast was so damn crispy on the outside and soooooooo juicy on the inside... but the others just got full... only the journeyman couldn't really fill me up... I might have Ordered 2 or should have ordered a slice of chicken breast more... but all in all... great atmosphere... awesome burgers.. Best service... and fantastic price... happy to repeat again and again...

It was our first time at Hans im Glück with 8 people. It was a bit tight to sit. In some places there is no backrest to lean on. Burgers were delicious, good idea with the offer of 1 burger with fries or salad, a cold drink and a hot drink. Portions are good. Location with the birches is funny.

Shop was empty but food was cold

We traveled to Bochum to see the musical Starlight Express. We wanted to strengthen ourselves a bit beforehand. Hans im Glück in the “Bermuda Triangle” was just right. As in Berlin and elsewhere, a very warm welcome and attentive service. As usual, the food was very tasty and I can only recommend the homemade lemonade. Hans im Glück and the musical theater saved our weekend in Bochum. Unfortunately we couldn't find anything else that we liked. So, if Bochum, then short and sweet and only with Hans im Glück and Starlight Express!

It's very loud here. There is no space at all between the tables (if you can call them that). People sit on each other's heads. It won't be possible to talk. In order for the person you are talking to to hear you, you have to scream. I can hear what the next table is talking about. The most uncomfortable atmosphere. Food and drinks are passable. The service is good. The toilets are clean.

We were there on a Saturday evening. It was very crowded and incredibly loud. We basically sat on a wooden box, right back to back with the guests at the next table. Entertainment was almost impossible. Visually appealing at first glance, when you look more closely it creates as many seats as possible in a small space with as little effort as possible. The food was good, the service was nice. I would only visit the restaurant again during the day as part of a shopping trip.
