The food and drinks are great! Really good for the main station! The staff is nice, friendly and lovely. Unfortunately the toilets don't work at all! It stinks extremely, there is toilet paper everywhere and there is only cold water to wash your hands! But the smell is really an absolute disaster! You can't breathe! Really very bad! Maybe you should hire security or a cleaning lady to sit and clean all day!

Very cool that there is a Hans im Glück at the HBF. Went there shortly before 11 and were able to order a little something for lunch and it came very quickly :-) especially on long train journeys, it's cool to be able to have lunch before 11! And the MINI smashburger was also really, really tasty :-) Service was really great and very accommodating :-) I'd love to come back next time!

Despite reservations, we had to wait a long time until we were assigned a table (in a cordoned off area) - and then there was no service. We had to ask twice and were able to order after 20 minutes. Then eat almost an hour after the reserved appointment

On February 7th sat there with colleagues, the restaurant was only occupied by a few guests. Our table was first wiped down with a damp cloth because I asked for it because the table top was dirty. Unfortunately, things didn't really work out with the kitchen. The order was placed and the fries arrived after the meal as requested!!! first on the table and not in a bowl but in a cardboard box because there were no more bowls. (There were perhaps 20-25 people in the restaurant) The dishes were only cleared when we asked, the music was so loud that it was turned down after we asked for the sound to be reduced. When we left the restaurant we noticed that the empty tables had not been cleared away, glasses and dishes were standing around dirty, where the coffee bar was, it looked the same. Apparently there was a lack of staff. How does such a large restaurant function when the tables are full of guests? It's a shame, the waitresses have to constantly apologize to the customers because everything doesn't work out, but they're the ones who get it from the guests, even though they can do the least. The HR manager in charge should do his job properly so that the guests are satisfied and want to come back.

Nobody came to “place”. We had to go to the bar and we were assigned a table there. Unfortunately the staff was a bit overwhelmed. There was only one waiter and he didn't pay any attention to us. There were other guests who simply weren't served, even though less than half of the seats were occupied. Our order was only taken when we asked at the bar. Very polite and also very quick! Big praise for that! The food was delicious. Maybe the portion was a little too small.

I was here with a bigger group we waited for at least 30 minutes before anyone dicedet to show up just leave and be back in 10 minutes after ordering we got our food 40 minutes later the lady who brought our orders got it wrong and told us she can't take it back. The service was OK at best would not recommend if your really hungry and in a rush PS they didn't have chance like coins at all

We waited over 45 minutes for our burgers in a very manageably full store. The food itself is delicious, but I still wouldn't go back to this branch again.

You won't find any service here. We waited 20 minutes for our order to even be taken. Even going to the waitress didn't help. She just said that she would come to the place. Instead of understanding the hint, she did other work first. Burgers were good then. Dessert took forever again. Then the chocolate cake was missing ice cream. Operation asked about it. She said I definitely should have said that specifically. Read her own card to her. She went into the kitchens and came back with a melted scoop of vanilla ice cream. When asked if I could get a decent scoop, she just said that the ice cream probably didn't work out. I've never experienced anything like that. No recommendation. The table next door was served even worse or not at all. At some point the customers got up and left. Here too, an attempt was made to approach the service. But here too she didn't take the hint.

Fake review! Beware, I wasn’t able to post my 4-star review for 3 months. No matter how neutral the comment was. This restaurant has the best reviews on the whole station for a reason.

I had a little stay in Berlin and was hungry! That's why I was lucky with Hans As usual with the chain, the food and drink were delicious. The waiter was very friendly, but unfortunately it was quite busy and another server would have been needed because I waited a little longer.

Food not testy and not service fast

We came to eat with you by chance and were more than thrilled. The food was excellent, everything to our liking. The service (with very long dark hair) was very courteous, quick and gave us very good advice. 5 stars to the service 👏🏻 We are from the industry ourselves and know what is important, especially when it comes to advice and dealing with guests. We can only recommend the restaurant 👍 we highly recommend the non-alcoholic cocktail with 🌿 basil. Many thanks to the very nice service. The next time we are in Berlin we will definitely visit you again.

Mass produced, boring food. Abhorrent rest rooms. All in all a pretty sad affair.

The burger was absolutely bad. The tomato was almost transparent. Unfortunately, two of our group had to go to the doctor after visiting this Hans im Glück. we had diarrhea and vomited. The burger didn't taste good at all. The cocktails were okay and the service was friendly. We can trace our food poisoning to this store. The food was really bad and I usually know it better from Hans Glück.

If you go to eat in a train station, it should be clear that almost every guest has a train appointment, so how can it be that you have to wait for what feels like half an hour for your food and some of the food isn't served at all because you forgot. When paying, the product is on the invoice so it wasn't forgotten. It was then canceled without any problems. OK, but I actually wanted to eat something properly.

Worst burger I've ever eaten. And yes, I've been to MCs before...

We still had time until our train arrived and stayed in the front lounge area, which was very comfortable. The service is great. Wiji got to us super quickly and was happy to implement my friend’s “special request”. Everything is great. At At Hans im Glück you can also eat really well and have a good time while waiting and relax with a drink. It's really nice that this service is offered to waiting guests.

Everything was cool, the food was delicious, the staff was friendly. Only the men's toilet didn't work at all. I think one of them wanted to live there...

I stopped here not knowing how nice the food and service was. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Wiji was excellent in helping me with the menu, food arrived without a long wait, overall excellent service, definitely coming back.

It's something completely different. Not that typical look but a relaxed and calm one. The food was also very good. And the service was friendly and polite.

Burgers were really standard for the price I expected more love, and the cheese on the burgers was also a zero... the minced meat wasn't fresh either but from the cool box...

Despite the restaurant being full, the service was not lacking; drinks could be ordered quickly and arrived just as quickly. The food really didn't take long and, as always at Hans im Glück, it tasted great. If I travel to Berlin again by train, I already know exactly where the first warm meal will be.

Bad service. Nobody feels responsible for the guest. After 20 minutes we still hadn't been asked what we would like to eat. Left the restaurant. Such a bad and uncoordinated team. There were four of us in the restaurant. Despite the huge rush, the service staff provided good service. Food and drinks were excellent as usual at Hans!

When we are in Berlin we always like to eat at Hans in Glück, but the cocktail this time was really bad. I told the waitress that the cocktail wasn't good, her reaction was sobering, she just shrugged her shoulders, completely indifferent!!!!

We also had to wait a long time until we were served, but the employees were completely understaffed and it couldn't be done quickly. Big thanks to the waiter who reacted immediately when we had to pay quickly due to a train cancellation... and we had to take an earlier one. Thank you ☺️ Another small note: the hot chocolate tasted like water, an improvement would really be necessary

The food came very quickly and was good, the taste could have been a bit better, the fries were too cold and didn't feel quite as fresh anymore, the salad was okay, here too it was missing that little bit more...

Food was great - as always and everywhere at Hans im Glück. Unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes until we were served, but only by speaking to me. After another 30 minutes our food arrived. Music is too loud so people have to talk relatively loudly and therefore there is an enormous background noise. Tables are 50% occupied because they were not cleared. Unfortunately, probably due to a lack of staff like almost everywhere. Friendliness can be improved. We wanted to pay with our voucher. Unfortunately it didn't work at the table, so I had to go to the office with it. That took another 15 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes for my hot drink. So wait more than anything else.

It was an amazing experience dining here during our last night in Berlin! Thanks to the fabulous and unique atmosphere, including the beautiful design and decoration of the restaurant, I truly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to everyone.

Visited this burger restaurant that has a few outlets in my country. Atmosphere was okay: pretty consistent deco and setup. Service was lacking as it was obvious that they were running short on staff. There were 5 staff members running the whole place when we visited on a weekday. Had to wait around 10 minutes to get my order. I noticed that a kind gentleman didn't get his order taken till about 15 mins later. Standard of burger very much consistent to what I tasted back home. Prices are okay too. Expect to pay 11 Euros onwards for a normal burger. I ordered a chicken burger but there are beef options as well. Vegetarian options available too. Decent crispy and not too oily sweet potato fries if you are not into traditional fries. Note that the fries need to be ordered and paid for separately as they do not come with the burgers. There are some set deals: a burger, fries and a drink but can't remember how much it costs. See menu below. I would not recommend if you are in a rush to catch a train. Bill comes with a tipping option as well. Interesting feature is the separate area which you can grab a coffee or drink if you are not having any burgers.

The staff was very kind and the food came very quick. However the fries were really disappointing.. only lukewarm and soggy, as if they had been prepared a long time ago.. (haven't tried anything else so maybe the burgers are a better choice)

We were very disappointed. A few weeks earlier we were at Hans im Glück on Friedrichstrasse, which was, as usual, absolutely great. I'm also used to top quality and service from other branches and cities, so I was very surprised at how we were treated here. Really a shame and also annoying. This branch is not remotely representative of the name. I recommend the Vapiano diagonally opposite instead. Too bad.

It's winter and they have no heating. The food came cold from the kitchen. The burger wasn't freshly fried, just warmed up from the microwave. The prices are completely excessive.

Anyone who knows Hans im Glück will like it. Perfect central location.

At BB and McD the burgers are at least hot - and not lukewarm. Fries are clear - and the evening menu only includes cocktails. Service doesn't always deliver the right thing to the tables - but also what was ordered "to go". It's drafty in the hut. All in all: outside of the train station this offer would probably have ended a long time ago.

I came here to be ignored for half an hour. Ask if I want to eat something? Nope. Not in there. Drank my beer (from the attentive bartender) and left. I would recommend McDonald's instead of this store.

If you search a little, you will find happiness! I actually had to look for a bit here, I looked around for a big sign at the entrance until I found the bright (!) green stripes 😉 Inconspicuous from the outside, you'll find a small oasis of calm inside and, when the weather is nice, even a spacious terrace! As usual at Hans im Glück, the food was very tasty, as was my thirst quencher. There were a few new people in the service, it took a while until they found my table - but they were very friendly! Now that I know where to go, I like to stop by more often when I'm in the area😁

We have had a bad situation with a person at the train station and didn't feel safe anymore at the main train station. We looked for refuge in Hans im Glück and they were so caring and lovely, we could rest there and have s safe and heart warming place to be. Thanks to all the understanding staff there. <3

I had never been to a Hans im Glück before so decided to try a cheeseburger while waiting for a train. Hard to judge transport station chain restaurants as they can be dud. Decor and service fine but the burger. Hmm. Nothing terrible, nothing great, just perfectly average. But above average price. It just looked like it had been assembled in a rush, not with love and care. Brutal truth is I can make a far superior burger at home.

Service is very bad. We waited 20 minutes for a waitress on a Friday afternoon (the restaurant wasn't too full). After 20 minutes without being served we left.

I've been there twice and left both times because I wasn't served after 15 minutes. Team is absolutely overwhelmed and understaffed. I can't rate food. Loading is pretty cool

Had the Eitler Gockel with gold fries and a homemade blueberry-mint lemonade. The burger was super tasty. I think the fries could have been crispier; these were slightly soft. About the ambience: Unfortunately, I sat at a table at the exit to the terrace because the restaurant was full. According to an employee, it was not possible to change afterwards despite several free tables.

I've always enjoyed eating a meal there every now and then, although the service hasn't always been that great, which I've always ignored, but today was probably the last time, first waiting 20 minutes for the order to be taken, then another 35 minutes for the fries and citizens, when the food came everything was cold, tables dirty, no cutlery, we still nibbled on it a bit because we wanted to go to an event afterwards and didn't want to go there with a completely empty stomach and didn't have any time had more elsewhere To go out to eat, despite an immediate complaint, there was a 20% discount afterwards on the grounds that they had a staff shortage, so that was the last time

Burgers tasted okay. Unfortunately, the wrong fries were brought and when the sweet potato fries came, they were very burnt. You couldn't eat half of it and unfortunately had to go back.

We waited a full 20 minutes until we were noticed, even though we certainly drew attention to ourselves. After "I'll come right away" we waited another 10 minutes and then we left. However, people who came after us were now being served. It wasn't really full at the time, or those present had already had their food.

We were left sitting at the table ignored for an hour, with no response despite repeated requests. Everyone around us was being served. Then we left again! Impossible!
