It was one of those days when you think to yourself, "Everything's going like clockwork today." The train was scheduled to depart at 2:46 p.m. So, we thought, there was plenty of time. Heiner and I were relaxed like two sloths on a wellness vacation. Then came the moment that got everything rolling: Heiner: "Hey, we still have a good 35 minutes. Let's go to Hans im Glück. I'm hungry for something real!" Me: "Sure! What could possibly happen?!" So we went into the shop. Hans im Glück – stylish, cozy, trees in the middle of the room, as if we were in an enchanted forest. Everything was on time. The burger was great. The ambiance actually deserves 5 stars – but unfortunately, there was a complete plumbing failure...

Absolutely awful. After being seated we waited 40 minutes for service, another 30 minutes for drinks which were delivered incorrectly. We only received our food after 90 minutes of waiting. If you have the time and patience, this is the right restaurant.

The service was friendly but not on the ball. The restaurant was relatively small. We waited over an hour for our food, and then the first dish arrived cold. The second dish was apparently forgotten. So far, so good. Then both dishes arrived hot, but with the wrong burger bun. There was no question about whether we wanted another drink; we'd been sitting around for a while... Everyone was walking along at a relaxed pace and never saw each other again. You had to forcefully pay. I would have liked to pay right away using the QR code, but then I wouldn't have been able to explain what went wrong... no response to the criticism, other than "sorry, it's a bit chaotic"... I'm also sorry we were guests.

Everything was great. The burgers were very good, my friend had a kids' menu, which was excellently prepared. The staff was very friendly. Only the sweet potato fries were a bit soft. We'll definitely be back.

It was actually very nice, but we had to follow up on some of the items we ordered that had been forgotten, which was a bit annoying and stressful. The music was also very loud and noisy. And the men's restroom was in terrible condition, I was told.

Great experience! A really good place to work, too; the employees are all really nice and sweet! I felt very well looked after – I'd love to come back!

A large selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Very friendly and helpful service. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and comfortable to sit in. Our food arrived quickly and tasted very good. I especially like the fact that they serve sauces like ketchup and mayo for free, as you often have to pay a lot for them in other restaurants and only get small portions. The homemade thirst quenchers and iced teas were also very good and refreshing.

I find the sun deck rather cheeky for a terrace shaded by surrounding buildings! The food was quite tasty, but the portions were rather modest. The service wasn't particularly attentive, but it was very friendly.

Despite its enormous size, the decor was cozy. The food was excellent. Service was direct and friendly in classic Berlin style. That's how it should be.

Really bad attendance, add to wait a log for everything while people that come after where attended first.. and in the end the bill was 33, I paid 35 and she took the money and runner away without giving me the change, worst time I spent in Berlin..

The staff tried to blame me for getting our order wrong three times. They gave me a beef burger instead of chicken. I had taken a bite before realising (I can't eat beef due to my stomach issues). They gave my partner the wrong burger twice. We asked for “just the patty and bun, " the girl serving said, “No cheese, " then left. We thought she’d not understood correctly, and when it came out, it had everything on it, even the cheese. In response to our asking for another with “just the patty and bun,” we got an eye roll and another burger with sauce. We stated we didn't want to pay for meals we didn't eat, and then they tried to blame us for their mistakes! I got the meals taken off in the end, but wow, the attitude of the staff members we met was unbelievable. Edit: I've just read other reviews stating similar issues. Staff seem overwhelmed, so I can't completely blame them, and the language barrier may not have helped. This is clearly an issue that needs addressing by the decision makers. However, Rule 1 of customer service is that you never make the customer feel uncomfortable for your mistakes.

Unfortunately, after an hour of constant noise, caused by a malfunction in the train's loudspeaker system (according to the service staff), we left the restaurant completely frustrated. It's a real shame, because the food was delicious and the service was very attentive. But under these circumstances, a pleasant, relaxed dinner isn't possible.

Not ideal if you want to eat quickly before your train journey, as it takes a while. But it's a nice place to sit, the staff is very friendly, and the food was delicious! The tempura green beans were especially fantastic! I'll be back.

Although it's located in the main train station, you can enjoy the atmosphere of a cozy restaurant. The various burger creations are unusual but excellent.

The food is good. However, the waitress isn't very welcoming. The bartender is very welcoming, though. The cocktails don't really taste like mango, more like water...

I discovered this place because of a 2-for-1 promotion. I was all the more surprised that the staff wasn't aware of this promotion. It was only after discussions that the matter was resolved. The ambiance is modern, but a bit confusing. Personally, I don't like the way they place their products here. The burgers were good, but nothing exceptional. The prices are definitely on the high side.

Stood around for a while before being told to seat myself. Ok no problem, but finally I went to find a menu myself as no one had come by my table. After 20 minutes, I left and they probably didn’t even notice. The staff appears to me to be overwhelmed and very stressed, so it’s hard to blame them.

Awesome food. The service was sub-par, and the food took a while to prepare. The atmosphere was unique and friendly, although a little tight. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot. Just be sure to go early enough for the food to be prepared!

Waited 5 minutes in the half-empty shop before we were even shown to a table. Waited over 30 minutes for someone to come to order. Both dishes were brought 10 minutes apart; dish 1 was already cold at that point. We had to ask for dish 2, and what we got was a dry burger with minimal ingredients and hardly any sauce. Herbs from a salad were found between the fries we ordered and the bread from a burger was brought incorrectly, but at that point it no longer made any difference. No explanation or anything else from the service. Also dirt and chaos in the toilets.

We waited an hour for our food. Unfortunately very slow service. The burgers were very tasty. The coleslaw, on the other hand, no longer tasted as fresh as we usually get from Hans im Glück.

I was with you on Sunday for almost 3 hours. I would like to say kudos. Although the restaurant was always very busy, the staff remained extremely friendly and attentive the entire time. I would particularly like to mention Görkem, who kept an overview the whole time and also made special requests, such as: B. a blanket (we were sitting in the entrance area) was immediately fulfilled. A real rarity in our service desert, Germany. Thank you for the totally relaxed stay and I'm already looking forward to the next time. Keep it up! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

It's never a bad idea to stop by Hans im Glück. The burgers are very tasty and there is a wide variety to choose from. The side salad is always very tasty too!! The service in this branch is ok. You can tell that they are focused on transients and obviously don't value customer loyalty. Everything took a bit too long, even though it wasn't that crowded.

That was nothing, after waiting for over 1/4 hour, I asked the waiter at the bar who I could order something from, the answer was, “Someone is coming soon”, someone didn’t show up even after another 10 minutes!!! Service looks different, especially since the app didn't work either!!! The store wasn't full either... well another attempt that failed again with Hans km luck... 🤦🏻

On May 1st, we surprisingly found a place and were served quickly. There are advertisements everywhere saying that the menu is new and the taste has improved, but unfortunately we can't do that. The fries have been given a new shape, making them less potato-like and more crispy to hard. The “journeyman” burger without bread has three extra leaves of arugula on it. The burger sauce is mixed with the parmesan sauce, which is why you hardly tasted any of either. In the case of chicken, a new herbal mixture appears to have been incorporated into the meat. Unfortunately it doesn't taste like pure chicken, but rather strangely like this mixture. The recipe for “Soul Heil” has also been “improved”; the sauce from before is now dispensed with and instead, two small, thin slices of Camembert are placed on top. Unfortunately, the bun was far too crispy and crumbled just by looking at it. I would like to highlight the large outdoor seating area as a positive. It may be because of the branch, but I'm actually used to much better quality and a little more salad added to the breadless burger.

Even when you're under the most stress, you'll find great service here!

PLEASE LOOK AT THE RECEIPTS!!! During our visit, we overheard two waiters (one tall, slim, blonde/the other shorter, dark hair) talking to each other next to the kitchen (where we were sitting) about the lack of tips. One person said that he was deliberately giving incorrect amounts because visitors all pay with their card anyway and don't look at the amount. During our visit we didn't get a receipt BEFORE paying, we only received one after we paid and were asked. We also noticed that the extra burger sauces were listed on the menu as €1, but we were charged €1.25 per sauce (we only saw AFTER we paid). Of course it's not a big difference, but the two waiters said they had already charged up to €10 more than it would actually cost. What a shame, we won't be coming back.

Great atmosphere even in the main station, fast service, top quality

I just ordered a Feservieh salad with parmesan dressing. The salad was presented completely carelessly and the dressing was not included. Every time I try to call it goes to voicemail.

We did not like our experience. The burgers we ordered were good, but regarding the fries, they were not what we had ordered and were too spicy for our palates. Plus we had to return some that they already wanted to leave us without asking. We ordered 4 beers and they brought us only 2 and another 2 drinks. We had requested the menu in English and they brought it to us in French. Too expensive for so little good experience. Next time we won't choose them.

Great service, fast and above all very tasty. Wide choice, also for vegan and vegetarian dishes. Culinary burgers with different fresh ingredients, each unique, "made to order!" And yet faster than the well-known fast food chains. And large cocktails that are actually a bargain in comparison.

Do not come here. Staff messed up and missed one of our orders. First we waited for ~25 minutes, then my son had to wait an additional 30 minutes for his missed order. No compensation whatsoever. Also, bathroom is without soap and toilet paper (but with a really present urine smell).

The food and drinks are great! Really good for the main station! The staff is nice, friendly and lovely. Unfortunately the toilets don't work at all! It stinks extremely, there is toilet paper everywhere and there is only cold water to wash your hands! But the smell is really an absolute disaster! You can't breathe! Really very bad! Maybe you should hire security or a cleaning lady to sit and clean all day!

Very cool that there is a Hans im Glück at the HBF. Went there shortly before 11 and were able to order a little something for lunch and it came very quickly :-) especially on long train journeys, it's cool to be able to have lunch before 11! And the MINI smashburger was also really, really tasty :-) Service was really great and very accommodating :-) I'd love to come back next time!

On February 7th sat there with colleagues, the restaurant was only occupied by a few guests. Our table was first wiped down with a damp cloth because I asked for it because the table top was dirty. Unfortunately, things didn't really work out with the kitchen. The order was placed and the fries arrived after the meal as requested!!! first on the table and not in a bowl but in a cardboard box because there were no more bowls. (There were perhaps 20-25 people in the restaurant) The dishes were only cleared when we asked, the music was so loud that it was turned down after we asked for the sound to be reduced. When we left the restaurant we noticed that the empty tables had not been cleared away, glasses and dishes were standing around dirty, where the coffee bar was, it looked the same. Apparently there was a lack of staff. How does such a large restaurant function when the tables are full of guests? It's a shame, the waitresses have to constantly apologize to the customers because everything doesn't work out, but they're the ones who get it from the guests, even though they can do the least. The HR manager in charge should do his job properly so that the guests are satisfied and want to come back.

Despite reservations, we had to wait a long time until we were assigned a table (in a cordoned off area) - and then there was no service. We had to ask twice and were able to order after 20 minutes. Then eat almost an hour after the reserved appointment

Nobody came to “place”. We had to go to the bar and we were assigned a table there. Unfortunately the staff was a bit overwhelmed. There was only one waiter and he didn't pay any attention to us. There were other guests who simply weren't served, even though less than half of the seats were occupied. Our order was only taken when we asked at the bar. Very polite and also very quick! Big praise for that! The food was delicious. Maybe the portion was a little too small.

I was here with a bigger group we waited for at least 30 minutes before anyone dicedet to show up just leave and be back in 10 minutes after ordering we got our food 40 minutes later the lady who brought our orders got it wrong and told us she can't take it back. The service was OK at best would not recommend if your really hungry and in a rush PS they didn't have chance like coins at all

You won't find any service here. We waited 20 minutes for our order to even be taken. Even going to the waitress didn't help. She just said that she would come to the place. Instead of understanding the hint, she did other work first. Burgers were good then. Dessert took forever again. Then the chocolate cake was missing ice cream. Operation asked about it. She said I definitely should have said that specifically. Read her own card to her. She went into the kitchens and came back with a melted scoop of vanilla ice cream. When asked if I could get a decent scoop, she just said that the ice cream probably didn't work out. I've never experienced anything like that. No recommendation. The table next door was served even worse or not at all. At some point the customers got up and left. Here too, an attempt was made to approach the service. But here too she didn't take the hint.

We waited over 45 minutes for our burgers in a very manageably full store. The food itself is delicious, but I still wouldn't go back to this branch again.

Fake review! Beware, I wasn’t able to post my 4-star review for 3 months. No matter how neutral the comment was. This restaurant has the best reviews on the whole station for a reason.

I had a little stay in Berlin and was hungry! That's why I was lucky with Hans As usual with the chain, the food and drink were delicious. The waiter was very friendly, but unfortunately it was quite busy and another server would have been needed because I waited a little longer.

Food not testy and not service fast
