Grindhouse Burgers in Berlin

A beautifully located and decorated restaurant. Service was fast and very friendly. I personally recommend the Grindhouse Smash Burger; it was very good, the meat was good, and the cheese was delicious. Overall, I can recommend the place.

10/10 burgers. would definitely recommend and i will come back for sure. i had 2 burgers because they were so frickin good! i had the meat Medium and it was perfect. we were 2 ppl had 3 burgers and 1 fries in total and paid 48€. the fries were not good but that’s okay. just order the burgers you gon love it.

Very small burgers for this hearty price. Yes, they were delicious. But good meat in a cheap supermarket sandwich shouldn't be. We also waited a very long time for our food. Too bad. Not recommended.

The food at Grindhouse Burgers restaurant always varies, sometimes the food is delicious and sometimes a bit dry etc. The service is very nice, unfortunately most of them don't speak German very well, which is why one or two misunderstandings can happen. For example, we ordered a hamburger (classic) in medium and unfortunately we got a medium hamburger, but that usually only happens rarely. The ambience is nice and so is the restaurant. Unfortunately it is really loud and in the long run it is very unpleasant. Despite the small isolated cases, it is a very great restaurant that I recommend.

Everything was super good in Grindhouse! I went with my friends and we ate very well, also the service was friendly and professional. I recommend the starters and my favorite burger was the chili cheese porn. Truly suggest to pass by :)

First choice burgers and youthful atmosphere!!!

The place ticks all the boxes: convenient and pleasant location, delicious food and friendly staff. The truffle parmesan fries are my favorite in Berlin, and the burgers are juicy and flavory (shout out for the “beyond meat” option). A must go for burger lovers :)

Parts of our group order only came after we asked again, and then only after everyone else had already eaten. In addition, the vegan version is not worth it at all, as half of the burger is missing and you still have to pay the full price or even more. As an example: I ordered a Crispy American (vegan) for around 14.10 euros. In the end there was just the patty, the sauce and onions. In comparison, the normal hamburger costs 10.90 and has patty, onions, sauce, lettuce and cheese. Nevertheless, I would have had to pay 14.10, which is simply unreasonable and cheeky in comparison. All in all, not really recommended

They have proper burgers, not the best but good enough. However, you need to warn your customers if they need to wait for 50 minutes (yes, 50 long minutes) for their order! The place was not packed at all but they had a huge amount of online orders. Please be kind and just warn your customer if this is the case.

I highly recommend the smash burger. Mayo sauce tastes quite natural and delicious. They are not serving Sprite, which was very strange.

The smashed burger was good but it’s suuuuuper expensive and small in comparison to any other burger places. The service is bad, I walked in and no one even came to tell me to wait for a moment and the restaurant was half empty, after standing for some minutes without getting any attention, I asked the bartender if I should just pick a table and he pointed at one.

I can warmly recommend, fast and helpful staff, varied menu, great taste.

Came here nearly weekly for the past year. They had the best Smash Burgers of Berlin. Last week they changed their menu and with it as a result they changed the Grindhouse Sauce for ketchup. Waiting times also increased by over an hour since there “was a problem with the buns”.

It was a very good burger, but not at the moment. Unfortunately they produce quantity but not quality. The service is ok.

The food is very tasty and the price is also appropriate. I chose the veggie alternative and was very satisfied. The “meat” was juicy, something I’ve never had anywhere else before. I would always eat there again if I wanted a burger

The burgers were small for the price, but the taste was good. One portion of fries arrived cold. It took a long time to get a burger but I guess that's probably because all the food delivery people were also waiting. I would just go to Burgermeister instead!

The burgers were ok - average. I had a single Smashburger that dissolved in my mouth like cotton candy. But the meat was very good and tasty. It was incredibly loud and conversational, so our conversations were exhausting.

Insane food, insane staff (in a good way). Liked the Norwegians the most, nice to encounter people who speak your language and present you with that mindblowing friendliness. Really liked it here.

Perfect restaurant to eat in Berlin! Mimmo, the manager, he makes u feel at home, he treats his clients with respect and kindly . Carolina, the waitress, she has this smile that you will never forget. Definitely recommended! Looking forward to come back

Excellent everything - especially the PHENOMENAL vanilla milkshake!

Ordered 0.5 L drink and received 0.3. When we mentioned it, the waiter rudely told us that they had too many reservations. Only after discussion did we receive a new drink. After that, the rest of the service left a lot to be desired. The food was actually very good and the atmosphere was great too.

Great burger! Succulent and delicious meat, crispy bacon and what can I say, I got another one! I recommend the Classical Cheese, the chips with truffle mayonnaise and the churros. Excellent experience and congratulations to the staff, highly recommended ❤️

This is a very nice place for your family meeting or your solo lunch. Waiter was looking like a balenciaga model and his hands was softer then a hands of English queen. Food was sooooo tasty I almost bite mine fingers off. Guy at the counter was so friendly and cute and his beard was looking softer than a cotton candy!

Burgers and fries were really very good. The desired cooking level was met and everything was tasty. Were there in the afternoon, i.e. there was nothing going on and therefore relaxed. Prices are fair in my opinion.

The Smash Burger was amazing, the meat was at its point and the bacon was perfectly roasted. The attention from the waiter and the personal was outstanding, they were always attentive and willing to serve. Couldn’t have asked for a better service nor meal! Would 100% recommend it for burger lovers!

We decided to try this place based on its good reviews, but unfortunately, the burgers didn’t suit our taste. Both the smash burger and the regular burger were heavily loaded with "burger sauce" or ketchup, which overpowered the flavor of the meat, making it hard to actually taste the burger itself. Additionally, the payment system had issues that day, which delayed our order—something we understood but still found inconvenient. Another downside is that mobile data doesn’t work inside due to poor network coverage, and they don’t offer Wi-Fi. While this might be nice for families or anyone looking to disconnect from social media, we would have liked the option to access the internet in some way. Overall, the experience didn’t leave the best impression.

I'm always looking for a burger that's close to the American originals and this is where I find it. The smash burger is really good, but could use more roasted flavors. So the burger is okay, but everything around it and especially the price are not right for me at all. The portions are tiny. Normally a burger with fries and a drink should keep a woman satisfied. However, far from it here. The aperitif wasn't worth the money either. In addition, my order was processed incorrectly. That's why I can unfortunately only give it a total of 3 stars.

Food is actually delicious when delivered warm. Unfortunately, the employees are very inflexible and refer to the respective delivery service. Therefore, it is certainly a coordination problem between the restaurant and the delivery service. It's a shame that my criticism falls on deaf ears and the problem is simply passed on to the supplier. Surely the “blame” falls 50/50 on both sides. Unfortunately there is no goodwill from the restaurant.

Not the best burgers I've ever had, but still pretty good.

Super flexible team. We were 45 minutes early for our reservation for 12 (!) people and it was made possible for us to sit at the table straight away. The burgers are great, the service was impeccable. Big praise to Mimo, Ibrahim & team for our wonderful, very spontaneous evening. We'll definitely be back :)

Update: I had the Crispy American Burger today and thought it was very, very good. That's why I give one more star. Original rating 4/5: I had a double smashburger. But it wasn't anything special. I'm missing that certain something. The fries were good and so was the homemade mayonnaise. I'll come back again to try one of the "normal" burgers. The service was a bit messy, the bill wasn't right and I got things that I hadn't ordered. But this can happen at any time and is not a big problem. I'll come again.

You're used to a lot of things in Berlin, but it's strange when the staff doesn't speak German and it's assumed that you speak and understand English. (It's Berlin in Germany not one of the many in America.) The food was ok, the brioche burger buns weren't really my thing but luckily it's a matter of taste. The meat was very good, juicy and not at all dry. The staff was friendly and tried to complete the order correctly despite the language barrier. PS: don't expect American portions.

It’s a Burger, nothing more nothing less. But for the very high price you would expect something a bit more extraordinary. If your willing to pay an extra fee for nice interior and an average burger- this is the place to go.
