Hans im Glück in Ingolstadt

The staff was very friendly. The place looks neat and clean. However, the food wasn't impressive. The kids had fries/sweet potato fries, which weren't exactly great. I had a regular burger. It was okay, but you had to look closely to see the ingredients. It's supposed to be minimalist and modern, but for over €10 for the burger, I would have expected more. Unfortunately, there aren't any alternatives if you don't want walnuts in your salad - "the system doesn't allow it." I remembered the food being better.

The burgers and sides were all great. The service was excellent! The benches aren't exactly comfortable. 🙊

Good food but the app to work out allergies is utter rubbish. The staff should have a paper version .

We visited "Hans im Glück" for the first time yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Even without a reservation, we got a table right away (Monday, 6:45 p.m.). The entire staff was extremely friendly – not only during the initial consultation, even before ordering, but also when checking to see if everything was to our satisfaction. The quality of the burgers and the crisp salad completely won us over. We don't understand the one-star reviews. Everyone should be understanding that not everything runs as smoothly as one would like, especially during a grand opening and even a few days afterward.

We had lunch there, the food was delicious and our server was very friendly. She explained the menu, since it was our first time there and there are a multiple options to assemble the burger of choice. I was pleasantly surprised and recommend the restaurant.

The place was half empty, so we sat down at a free table. The manager (presumably) came over and asked us to go back to the entrance because other people were supposedly waiting for reserved tables – the place was half empty, and no one was waiting. Dirty and untidy tables everywhere, ketchup splattered all over the place, and the staff was uncoordinated. Never experienced such a bad attitude.

Excellent selection of delicious burgers, fresh ingredients, great atmosphere, and very friendly service. Highly recommended. :)

I placed my order at 16:04 and only received it at 18:15, even though it said delivery would take 35–50 minutes. The food arrived cold, I paid extra for camembert cheese but there was very little of it. The fries, which cost over €8, came in a very small portion compared to last time previously I received a generous serving, but not this time. Unfortunately, I am disappointed.

‏Honestly, the overall service was highly disappointing. The waitress not only provided poor service but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere with her attitude. What made the experience even worse was that it was supposed to be a special occasion my friend’s birthday yet the negative behavior of the staff completely ruined the evening. A place that fails to respect its guests, especially on important occasions, reflects a serious lack of professionalism and customer care.

Cheese and bacon burger – simply amazing! I was at Hans im Glück in Ingolstadt and tried the cheese and bacon burger – juicy patty, perfectly melted cheese, and crispy bacon. The flavors were perfectly balanced! Plus, as always, a great atmosphere, friendly service, and everything was quick. Highly recommended – I'd love to come back!

Burger much too small for the high price.

"Hans im Glück" certainly deserves its name. I had a great meal there today and felt very comfortable. At over 30°C, I sat in the air-conditioned interior in a very pleasant ambiance with warm lighting and lots of slender birch trunks. Everyone was super friendly and asked if everything was okay. The food (I had a burger, coleslaw, and fries) was really fresh and delicious. I don't think I've ever had fries as delicious as these anywhere. Highly recommended!

Food tastes good with good burger sauces

I highly recommend it. Because I have a gluten intolerance, the burger was served without the burger. Instead, I was served it with salad. It was delicious. The service was excellent, as was the atmosphere when you go inside. Since the weather was very nice, we sat outside. We'd love to go back! 😁

I caught campylobacter after eating a chicken burger. It ruined my entire weekend in Germany, I had to cancel everything, and I'm still not out of the woods. Washing my hands after using the bathroom would be nice. PS: And yes, it must have happened at the H i. G., since I haven't eaten chicken anywhere else.

Great burger joint in the heart of the beautiful old town. The waitress was very friendly and explained the (very extensive) menu to us, a big plus. The burgers were really big, and the homemade iced tea is highly recommended.

The burger was very good, I have to admit (and that's why I'm giving it two stars instead of one). But I do have to warn everyone not to fall for the scam I fell for. The menu says the lunch menu costs 8.90 and includes the burger, fries, and a drink (great, I thought, there are three of us and we're going to pay 26.70). Well, my joy was short-lived: the bill came to a whopping 74.90. The reason? Well, they tell you the menu costs 8.90 (and charge you for it), and then they charge you everything separately. Do you understand? I don't. In short, a complete advertising scam. Result: three fewer customers.

I was a little disappointed with what I got. (For the price, I would have expected something special.) My junior (4 years old) could choose between a burger and veggie nuggets (we went with the burger). My wife ordered a cheeseburger, and I tried a Smash Burger. It came with fries and sweet potato fries, respectively. I was allowed to remove the lettuce and tomatoes from the kids' burger and tried both. It tasted a bit stale, as if it had been taken out of the fridge a while ago and forgotten on the countertop... The burgers tasted OK, but I felt they lacked the wow factor. The sauces offered didn't change that. (Tomato ketchup, French fry sauce (mayonnaise?), orange mustard, and BBQ sauce(?)) The sweet potato fries were so good that I left almost half of the small portion, and there were plenty of regular fries left in the bowls as well. The waiters were very attentive, the service was top-notch, which I'd like to commend. But otherwise, I was unfortunately very disappointed... (I can't imagine it got out of hand because of the number of guests... guests came and went, but I would describe it as a quiet evening.)

We had food delivered there, and it was the worst thing we've ever done. Not all of the food was fresh. We ordered a burger with chicken and fries. We got stomach upset and severe stomach pains after eating.

I haven't been to a Hans im Glück in a while, but I have to say, the one in Ingolstadt was really good. I had a salad bowl, which was really delicious. However, the prices are pretty steep for a chain...

I was there today and have to say: I was really impressed. The food? It arrived quickly, was super tasty, and nothing over the top – just good quality that tastes good. Exactly my thing. And then Zara – hey, no joke, she was amazing. Super friendly, totally attentive, and simply personable. You can tell right away that she loves her job. A completely relaxed experience. I'll definitely be back – everything was just perfect. 😌

The loaded fries weren't worth it at all; they were smaller than the side fries and cost €8. However, the iced tea and the frozy were very good. I highly recommend the wild berry basil frozy. The burgers are also good; they now also offer smash burgers.

We've been here several times - and every time it's a hit! The burgers are not only super fresh and tasty, but also really well topped. The new menu is of course a hit with the smash burgers (juicy and perfect for the girls)! The atmosphere is really cozy, the staff is always friendly and attentive. You will always be met with a smile. The thirst quencher or the raspberry mint (non-alcoholic cocktail) are also great. If you love good burgers in a nice atmosphere, this is the place for you.
