The food was absolutely delicious, arrived very quickly, and the service was truly excellent. We had a wonderfully friendly server and would like to thank Elif for her kindness and the fantastic service. We would definitely come back again!

We received a super friendly welcome upon arrival – the server was incredibly kind and attentive. She even took the time to explain the menu to us and give us some recommendations. The food was simply delicious – the burgers were perfectly prepared, fresh, and incredibly juicy. The side dishes were also a great match. We were particularly impressed by the drinks – the matcha was fantastic and tasted wonderfully creamy and well-balanced. Overall, a wonderful experience – you can tell that the food is cooked and served with love. We will definitely be back!

I visited the restaurant again today after a long time. I ordered the burger Meisterwerk. When it arrived, I was horrified. What was advertised as a burger with grilled vegetables was filled entirely with arugula and an onion ring, and the piece of chicken also had a strange taste. I also informed the young man at the front desk, and he said he would inform the kitchen (but I don't think that happened). I'm extremely disappointed, never again.

This was our first time eating here. I booked a table online, which worked great. The welcome and service in the restaurant were both nice and familiar. Despite the large number of guests, we didn't have to wait long for the burgers, which were all impeccable. The cocktails and desserts were also fine. We will definitely come back here.

We ordered three burgers with meat, bacon, and cheese, no tomatoes, etc. We got nothing but cold fries that tasted like cardboard and two vegan burgers with extra tomatoes. Delivery also took about 1.5 hours. Completely unsatisfactory. I couldn't reach someone by phone until an hour later.

The staff was very friendly. The place looks neat and clean. However, the food wasn't impressive. The kids had fries/sweet potato fries, which weren't exactly great. I had a regular burger. It was okay, but you had to look closely to see the ingredients. It's supposed to be minimalist and modern, but for over €10 for the burger, I would have expected more. Unfortunately, there aren't any alternatives if you don't want walnuts in your salad - "the system doesn't allow it." I remembered the food being better.

We visited "Hans im Glück" for the first time yesterday and were pleasantly surprised. Even without a reservation, we got a table right away (Monday, 6:45 p.m.). The entire staff was extremely friendly – not only during the initial consultation, even before ordering, but also when checking to see if everything was to our satisfaction. The quality of the burgers and the crisp salad completely won us over. We don't understand the one-star reviews. Everyone should be understanding that not everything runs as smoothly as one would like, especially during a grand opening and even a few days afterward.

We had lunch there, the food was delicious and our server was very friendly. She explained the menu, since it was our first time there and there are a multiple options to assemble the burger of choice. I was pleasantly surprised and recommend the restaurant.

The place was half empty, so we sat down at a free table. The manager (presumably) came over and asked us to go back to the entrance because other people were supposedly waiting for reserved tables – the place was half empty, and no one was waiting. Dirty and untidy tables everywhere, ketchup splattered all over the place, and the staff was uncoordinated. Never experienced such a bad attitude.

I placed my order at 16:04 and only received it at 18:15, even though it said delivery would take 35–50 minutes. The food arrived cold, I paid extra for camembert cheese but there was very little of it. The fries, which cost over €8, came in a very small portion compared to last time previously I received a generous serving, but not this time. Unfortunately, I am disappointed.

‏Honestly, the overall service was highly disappointing. The waitress not only provided poor service but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere with her attitude. What made the experience even worse was that it was supposed to be a special occasion my friend’s birthday yet the negative behavior of the staff completely ruined the evening. A place that fails to respect its guests, especially on important occasions, reflects a serious lack of professionalism and customer care.

"Hans im Glück" certainly deserves its name. I had a great meal there today and felt very comfortable. At over 30°C, I sat in the air-conditioned interior in a very pleasant ambiance with warm lighting and lots of slender birch trunks. Everyone was super friendly and asked if everything was okay. The food (I had a burger, coleslaw, and fries) was really fresh and delicious. I don't think I've ever had fries as delicious as these anywhere. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend it. Because I have a gluten intolerance, the burger was served without the burger. Instead, I was served it with salad. It was delicious. The service was excellent, as was the atmosphere when you go inside. Since the weather was very nice, we sat outside. We'd love to go back! 😁

Food tastes good with good burger sauces

I caught campylobacter after eating a chicken burger. It ruined my entire weekend in Germany, I had to cancel everything, and I'm still not out of the woods. Washing my hands after using the bathroom would be nice. PS: And yes, it must have happened at the H i. G., since I haven't eaten chicken anywhere else.

The burger was very good, I have to admit (and that's why I'm giving it two stars instead of one). But I do have to warn everyone not to fall for the scam I fell for. The menu says the lunch menu costs 8.90 and includes the burger, fries, and a drink (great, I thought, there are three of us and we're going to pay 26.70). Well, my joy was short-lived: the bill came to a whopping 74.90. The reason? Well, they tell you the menu costs 8.90 (and charge you for it), and then they charge you everything separately. Do you understand? I don't. In short, a complete advertising scam. Result: three fewer customers.
