Hamm Gastronomie Zoo in Hamm

We recently got an annual pass for this fantastic zoo! We also enjoy using the food almost every time we go. The food is delicious, absolutely reasonable in price, and the portions are large in my opinion! What is really unacceptable, however, is the service. I don't mean unfriendliness or a lack of commitment. In my opinion, it's simply poorly planned! When the park is busy during holidays or on weekends, the food area is bursting at the seams. You sometimes wait 30 minutes to order and another 15 minutes to get your food. Most people probably won't do that for "just an ice cream" or a drink and will then skip it. I don't understand why an additional food truck that just offers ice cream and drinks can't be set up flexibly on days like these. There would be enough space, wouldn't there? In my opinion, the food area as a whole would have to be expanded to cope with the influx. The staff are quick, friendly, and do what they can, but capacity is simply too limited.

I had to wait 25 minutes for a waffle. I wanted to cancel the order, but that wasn't possible. There was no compensation for the long wait. I lost my hunger while I waited. I can't recommend it.

Quite good in and of itself. However, today we were in the park on a quieter day and treated ourselves to currywurst and fries. We didn't have to wait long for our food, but the result was lukewarm fries and lukewarm currywurst. Very disappointing, so only one star 🤷‍♂️

Delicious waffles and very thick. The price is okay. Drink prices are normal.

The Hamm Zoo is simply a very good choice

Super friendly service, food was incredibly delicious 😋 & the best part: my two dogs got to lick the dog ice cream, which they really enjoyed 😋😋 Here's just my puppy licking the ice cream, and he really enjoyed it. His big friend also really enjoyed it 😋😋

The food is terrible... It takes about 1.5 hours to order, then another 30 minutes to wait in line to pick up... And there are hardly any seats... The worst zoo I've ever been to...

The quick ice cream or coffee in between. Unfortunately, fast is relative, as the queue in our case lasted 45 minutes. Better organization and more staff would be really nice. After all, who wants to spend the day at the zoo waiting for a coffee?

The service is lousy and it takes forever

The ideal place for a little hunger in between meals as well as a little thirst. Curry sausage and waffles are recommended. Drinks and food must be ordered and picked up at the counter. I think the prices are okay. When the weather is nice you can also sit wonderfully. The children's play area is in the immediate vicinity.

The zoo is really good, but here at the restaurant you wait 1.5 hours for 2 portions of fries. You can't accept 50-60 orders and just not have them processed. I got my money back after 1.5 hours. Unfortunately I can't say how the food tastes.

Today we visited the zoo in Hamm and ordered 2 manta platters at the local snack bar in the afternoon. There was a queue of around 40 people waiting for us to take our order. It took over half an hour before we could place our order. Afterwards we had to wait an hour until we got our food. This was handed over to us almost cold. The staff taking orders and serving food is totally overwhelmed and rude. There is no receipt for the amount paid when ordering. Instead, you get a device with a number that eventually beeps. It's better not to order anything here and instead stock up on things you've brought with you from home.

You order 2 fries, wait a long time and then the 2 orders are still not ready? So the organization of the catering there is really poor. I would prefer not to give this a star.

Simple, expensive, not tasty, lots of potential for development

Selbstverständlich kein Gourmet Tempel und die Auswahl beschränkt sich auf Standard. Currywurst, Pommes, Chicken Nuggets... Dafür waren Currywurst und Pommes voellig ok. Preis angemessen. Der Cappuccino richtig heiß und auch in Ordnung. Mit 2.5 Euro sogar preiswert. Bestellannanahme sehr freundlich, können uns da nicht beschweren Ein Manko sind die Sitzgelegenheiten mit Tisch, da gibt es zu wenig. Es sind Ferien und dafür zu wenig Platz. Die wartezeit bestellen zu Ausgabe völlig in Ordnung..

Das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich. Das Essen ist okay
