Café Restaurant Palmengarten in Hamm

We go there for breakfast almost every week. The value for money is very good, with a large selection and friendly staff. All drinks are included in the price. The only minor drawback is the restrooms: clean but in need of renovation. A freshener would be a good idea.

We went for breakfast on Sunday. People were already lining up at the door and that was also the case at the buffet!!! When you finally had a roll and the toppings you wanted, you had to wait in line for at least 15 minutes for a coffee or tea. That's not possible🤭 People went back and got juice🫤. My conclusion: Never go there on Sundays. The toilets are the business card of every restaurant, and they were below all 🐷.

Six of us were there on a Saturday. We had reserved a table in advance, which is advisable on weekends. The selection is good for people who eat everything. There's salmon, cheese, muesli, rolls, etc. Coffee drinks are included. A coffee machine offers a wide selection, and tea and water are also available. It's nice that they even offer sparkling wine. One star deducted because I didn't see a single sweet roll or croissant in the selection the entire time I was there. Maybe you have to ask for them? The location is nicely decorated. Since it's in a garden center, they have lots of decorations that can also be purchased in the store. Conclusion: A relaxed breakfast at a good price.

For the money it's ok. But nothing more. The staff doesn't come to refill the buffet, simple things like mustard are missing and the egg tasted like nothing. It's October and you're freezing your butt off.

Embarrassing! Embarrassing! I booked a breakfast table for 8 people (out-of-town guests) and left my phone number – see the large reservation book – and on Saturday morning (September 14, 2024) I found myself standing in front of closed doors without having been informed. It's a good thing the R-Cafe exists!

We were there for breakfast today. I've never had such a bad breakfast. The rolls were old, the sausage and cheese already had dry edges. The fried egg cold. The bread from the bruschetta was inedible. The champagne was in a champagne cooler, but without ice, so it was also at room temperature. Unfortunately I can't recommend it. The only thing that gives me stars is the ambience.

Were there for breakfast today and are deeply disappointed! 13.90 euros for this poor breakfast. The rolls tasted like they had been made the day before and were totally hard. Hardly anything was replenished. There was no salami, no fresh tomatoes! The cheese was already hard and discolored around the edges. How can it be that last year breakfast cost 9.40 euros and this year it cost 13.90 euros? And the quality is worse than ever! I can only recommend that you all go for breakfast somewhere else. You don't get anything for your money here! Very bad .

We've been going there regularly for breakfast for years. Large, diverse selection. Food that was already empty was immediately refilled. It is advisable to make a reservation if you are going with several people.

The breakfast buffet has become more expensive, now 13.90, and the quality has decreased. For example, the well-known diversity was missing, it was very limited. Many things were simply not right, e.g. B. the first drinking glass had sharp edges and part of the edge was broken off. There were two chairs in the area where I was sitting that were broken. The table I was sitting at shook so much that even though my drinks weren't full, they spilled over. For example, good fresh rolls are crispy. No, I had the feeling from the way the roll felt and when I bit into it that it wasn't fresh. No, the price-performance ratio is simply no longer right. Sorry, I'm out!!! I don't have to do that to myself!!!

We had a very nice time there with a large group. The selection was excellent. It was always refilled. Simply great. Recommended.

You can eat very good schnitzels there and the price is right too.

Frühstücksbuffet: Große Auswahl zu einem fairen Preis. Speisen, die bereits leer waren, wurden umgehend aufgefüllt. Als kleines Extra gibt’s obendrein noch kostenlos Sekt.

Wir waren am 18.02 mit zwei Personen hier um das Frühstück's Buffet zu plündern 😀. Wir waren und sind sehr zufrieden. Im Vorfeld reserviert, von daher keine Hektik beim Einlauf mit der anderen Schaar der Anwesenden. Super Auswahl;Brot, Brötchen, Croissant, Rührei, Würstchen, Wurst, Käse, Müsli..... Einfach alles da und auch zu jeder Zeit vorhanden. Also wir fanden es sehr toll und angenehm und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder....

Ankunft heute 9.40 , Frühstück für 3 Erwachsene 37,50€. keine Brötchen keine Croissants, keine Messer, keine Teller keine Löffel, das Buffet leergefegt, eine (bemühte aber vollkommen überforderte Person ) legt nach, Butter, Margarine etc teilweise über 30min nicht zu bekommen, in den Schlangen viele enttäuschte Kunden, teilweise macht sich Sarkasmus breit : "sie glauben es nicht, es gibt jetzt Butter!" Ab 10.30 scheinen mehr Mitarbeiter zu kommen und es wird organisierter - hier sollte trotz hoher Nachfrage Mal Preis/Leistung überdacht werden.

Kommen seit Jahren regelmäßig zum Frühstück. Es ist in Laufe der Zeit zwar teurer geworden, aber was wird nicht teurer? Die Auswahl ist sehr groß und die Lebensmittel gut. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre für Groß und Klein! Großes Plus: für Kinder gibt es im Gartencenter eine Kletterburg!
