Excellent food at absolutely reasonable prices.

I've been going to the Westend for breakfast with friends for years, and it would be great if it wasn't always the same and if there was some variety!

Yesterday I had breakfast with my friends in Westend. And I have to say, it was great as always. It was so crowded yesterday, I've never seen it like that before, but it was still lovely.

I visited Westend in Hamm today and was very disappointed. On my first visit, I was allowed to use the restroom without any problems. However, when I needed to use it again a short time later, I was suddenly refused access with the comment, "You can go somewhere else." The tone was very disrespectful and unfriendly. I find it regrettable that guests are treated this way. Courtesy and respectful behavior should be a given – especially in a public restaurant. It doesn't make a good impression when you don't say anything the first time and then suddenly it's made into a problem the second time. To me, it seemed unprofessional and lacking in customer service. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend visiting this establishment.

The service was excellent – ​​absolutely nothing to complain about. The carbonara, however, was a real flop; it's hard to describe how carelessly it was prepared. I've had better in Vietnam – that says it all. Maybe the pizza will be better next time. Nevertheless, thank you for the great service and the relaxed atmosphere!

Delicious breakfast, attentive service, chic location

Delicious, large burgers, a menu with photos, which I really like. Chocolate cake with bad chocolate. Delicious peach beer. You have to ask the waiter to wipe down the table; they seem to not notice the layer of dust on the outdoor tables. I also don't like that everyone smokes at the tables; they could split it into two sections, one for smoking and one for not.

As always, we had a great breakfast, just too little Kaiserschmarrn😂but maybe it was because we had breakfast so late

We've been coming here frequently for years. In the summer months, we enjoy sitting outside. We like the switch to Mediterranean dishes. The service is always friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and highly recommended.

Since the Italian ambience is no longer what it used to be, no simple dishes and overpriced, there was not much going on, but we waited a very long time for the pizza, we will look for something else

Unfortunately, by 10:00 a.m., many of the dishes were already leftovers. That was a real shame. The service, however, was very attentive.

Very cool location with great service and veeeery good food! The food was exceptionally good! The restaurant's decor is very tasteful (at least, it perfectly suited our taste!). The outdoor area, with its many plants, is like an oasis in the pedestrian zone. Absolutely a vacation feeling! There's happy hour for cocktails every day from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.! Highly recommended!

We've always been satisfied with the breakfast buffet, which is why we've always been repeat customers. On our last visit, we discovered that there were only half-baked rolls. There was also only one type of bread. The dessert (a piece of melon) was inedible because it tasted rotten and moldy. I understand that during the summer holidays, the selection and quantity of food are reduced. Nevertheless, you can expect fresh bread and edible fruit.

Beautifully and idyllicly designed. However, the seating needs to be a bit more comfortable (outside). Combined with the very fitting music, it fits the tropical ambiance well. I ordered the bacon burger and a nojito. The burger was unfortunately a big disappointment for the €20 it cost. The accompanying fries were okay, but a bit undersalted and the mayonnaise was light, which quickly diminished its potential for enjoyment. The nojito was actually good. However, for a 0.4-liter mojito (non-alcoholic), it was filled with so much ice and lime that the actual contents were more like a 0.2-0.3 liter drink. The staff was friendly and thoughtful, but overall, I'm disappointed and wouldn't recommend eating there for the prices; in fact, I'd advise against it. There are definitely cheaper alternatives in Hamm 👍

A very nice location with a wide selection of food and drinks. From meat lovers to vegans, everyone should find something to suit their taste. The service is also really good. The waiters are quick, so there are no long waits. The outdoor area is also beautifully designed. You can sit under palm trees, oleander, and olive trees.

Two stars because the reservation worked and the drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately, no one from the server came to our table afterward to take our food order. We also discovered that the online menu is different from the one in the restaurant. This is especially disappointing when you choose the falafel plate online and then find out in the restaurant that it apparently doesn't even exist. After half an hour, we decided to pay for the drinks and go somewhere else to eat.

I was there again today for the breakfast buffet, but unfortunately had to realize that I didn't like it as much as I did a year ago. I was totally disappointed. It started with the fact that I couldn't get into the restaurant with my wheelchair (because of the stairs)... a member of staff then helped me up with a walker..., it was incredibly loud in the restaurant, there were no small dessert glasses left, the scrambled eggs tasted like mass-produced food and when my wife wanted to order me a cappuccino at the counter she was told that orders could only be taken at the table. It was just a shame that no one came to take an order. All in all, nothing special anymore... breakfast like everywhere else. It was really nice, but better. Things have gone down a lot.

Nice place for a bite to eat after work. It's a great place to meet up with groups. In the evening, for example, you can enjoy a cocktail, a beer, or just a glass of water or cola. I was in Westend with my wife (for her birthday). Since we were there for breakfast, we accepted the buffet offer. It was rich, varied and delicious. We were able to eat our fill. The staff was very friendly and tried to give us a few nice hours. Everything was fine, we were happy and, above all, full. Absolutely recommended.

Unfortunately, we didn't receive any service at 10:30 p.m. According to the waiter, the last round of drinks had already been served (the store closes at midnight). So, if a restaurant wants to operate only during the day on a Saturday, then the opening hours should also be adjusted.

Service was friendly and quick but the food was meh. We had cake and coffee, but the cake wasn't that special (like frozen food) and the coffee has room for improvement. The price is pretty high, so I can get XXL coffee from my favorite kebab shop. We also had someone who was lactose intolerant but there is no oat milk or lactose free milk. But the ambience and seating options in the city are convincing.

You can eat well here, in a centrally located restaurant. Service was good. Food is good but there is room for improvement. Chicken schnitzel could have been seasoned better. Sauces probably not homemade.

It's an attractive restaurant. The food was OK and the waiters were nice. But what put me off and what will be the reason to go elsewhere are the drinks. We all said the same thing. No matter whether it was Cola, Sprite or Diet Coke, none of it was carbonated and it tasted like it had been diluted with tap water. For €4.90 per soft drink, that shouldn't be the case. Above all, it tasted nothing like the original drinks. The cocoa with shot was also a flop, it tasted like water and then there was the taste of the cheap spray cream😖. If the drinks were better, we would go again but unfortunately that is a terrible point. Maybe that's why there was nothing going on on a Friday evening.

Were there for breakfast for the 3rd time yesterday. Everything is good so far, price-performance ratio is right. There is only one thing to complain about: the potato gratin together with the Kaiserschmarrn in a warming container is not that great, as the Kaiserschmarrn tasted strongly of the gratin. Otherwise it was good like the last few times.

The three of us ate there. Reading the menu whetted our appetite and we were even more surprised that only a few people were there at the best time of the evening. The food came very quickly, as did the visual and taste disappointment! The schnitzels were not seasoned and were fried dry in the deep fryer, so the fried egg from a mold was baked rather than fried and the side salad, if you can call it that, dried out. The fries were ok. After we forced ourselves half of the food because we were hungry We were asked disinterestedly whether it tasted good, but we said no. Cappuccinos were served as compensation. My mistake was that I paid the invoice amount in full, I assumed that the owner would respond to my complaint via email, I thought wrong. Unfortunately, when I look at the review afterwards, this wasn't an isolated incident and seems to be company policy!

You can add juices, water and coffee flat as you wish or not. We did it and were really happy with EVERYTHING. Good price for the extensive range. Really recommended.

It was my first time eating in Westend and I'm happy with it. The service staff was very friendly and regularly on site. The food was good so far (salad) - although the chicken steak with the chilli sauce was a bit disappointing. The sauce seemed like a cheap sauce from a jar that had just been warmed up. The selection on the menu was very diverse and I think that pretty much everyone can find a tasty dish.

There is a relatively wide selection on the menu. Even vegetarians can find some dishes. The food tastes ok so far, but it's all "quick cuisine" so from a culinary point of view you shouldn't expect too much. Unfortunately, the food is not at all in relation to the estimated prices. It's definitely too expensive for what you get.

I had made a reservation for the breakfast buffet at 10:30 a.m. I can't recommend it, some of it was empty and wasn't refilled. Even though it goes until 12 p.m. Additionally, the male waiter was extremely rude to a man. He just wanted to go to the toilet, but he wasn't allowed. The waiter asked him to say please several times. But the man was obviously not completely mentally fit. What's the point of such a power game? A woman came in afterwards. She just wanted to go to the toilet. She was allowed, even though she didn't say please. Difficult. Oh yes and nothing was labeled at the buffet.

A cool, tidy, characterless franchise cafe/brasserie, I was served very well, the staff is friendly and accommodating, my dog ​​was also looked after and received in a friendly manner. We were there today on Sunday and ordered the following food and drinks. - Chicken strips 2x - Banana wheat - Passion fruit spritzer Unfortunately, you have to realize that when it comes to events in the city, the price-performance ratio in the Westend simply isn't right. It was once again mass production and charging €10 for 6 finger-thick chicken strips with a slice of tomato, loveless lettuce leaves and two pieces of baguette just doesn't fit. There's nothing wrong with the taste, but of course the eye eats too. On days when there is less going on, you can get twice the portion for the same price in the Westend. Therefore, only go to Westend if there is no event in the city. The drinks and service were good as always!

My family and I went there for breakfast on the occasion of my birthday. Unfortunately we were totally disappointed. We had chosen the flat rate including drinks...unfortunately it only included coffee (which you had to get yourself from the buffet) and tea; you would have had to pay extra for all other drinks such as cocoa or cappuccino. The breakfast buffet was set up in a narrow hallway right by the front door, so you had to squeeze past people to get to the beginning of the buffet. There you were greeted with baked rolls. The selection of sausage and cheese is also not justified for the price. There was little or no offer of vegetarian/vegan products (oat milk or lactose-free milk were not offered). On top of that, some packages of cream cheese and Nutella had already expired for a few days. When we pointed this out, there was no apology whatsoever. The atmosphere there was very loud and crowded. A very expensive and disappointing experience!

We enjoy spending our child-free times here. No matter whether for breakfast or in the evening. We particularly like the operation and service here. Our favorite service person here is Vladimir. He simply reads our every wish and is always there when you need him. It's a little more expensive here than in other restaurants, but the quality and service are good here. I liked this restaurant very much. But I'm disappointed with the new menu. The pork steak offered (it's new to me that there is pork steak) turned out to be a simple piece of roast pork, fried bone dry. It had nothing remotely to do with a steak in the original sense. I hope the restaurant returns to the previous menu.

We were here for the last time many years ago and today because of the Stunikenmarkt we thought we would take a look again. Unfortunately, a lot of things have turned negative here. Our waitress seemed disinterested and listless, which was also reflected when we received the food. One of three different chicken schnitzels was served as a pork version. All schnitzels suffered the same fate, three quarters of the schnitzels consisted of breading, and you had to look for the meat in between. I'm still waiting for the ketchup I ordered for my schnitzel, but it's over anyway because of the few fries. Unfortunately, for over €20 you get a very poor price/performance ratio. The Penne Napoli, on the other hand, was swimming in tomato sauce. Unfortunately, paying around €80 for two people with a total of 4 large drinks and two schnitzel dishes only reinforced the bad aftertaste. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the Westend.

The location with a view of the market is great, and the location is very urban and attractively furnished. You can immediately tell that a lot of time and passion has been invested here! We were invited to breakfast and had read the reviews beforehand. We only noticed the advertised service from the two girls from the kitchen and the service. Unfortunately, they weren't responsible for us and we either had to wait a long time or had to go to the counter ourselves. The breakfast itself was ok. The antipasti and the cream cheese platter were great, and the selection of savory and sweet spreads was extensive. The warm dishes such as Nuremberger, bacon and scrambled eggs were ok but not exceptional. The bruscetta was really good, as were the baguettes topped with salmon, but they could have used a slice more of salmon. I was disappointed when it came to the cold cuts; the three trays had something like a holiday in a youth hostel about them. The selection of drinks was good and the glass of Hammenser Ahoy at the end was really tasty! The only criticism here was the warm lime water. Even though we were invited, the prices are completely reasonable and I can't understand other people's criticism of this, especially in this day and age. Complain to politicians and not to the restaurateurs! We will come back when we get the chance and then test the menu.

I was here because of the good reviews. You can sit comfortably outside and the service is friendly and fast. The röstis with salmon I chose were quite ok. The side salad, however, was rather sparse. Unfortunately, the bit of horseradish sauce was almost tasteless. Points were deducted for the prices called. But I would like to try the highly praised burgers next time.

The last time I ate in Westend, I knew immediately that I had to write a review. The ambience is very nice and cozy, both inside and outside. Personally, I don't think the food was particularly outstanding, especially since the prices have obviously increased. What I liked most, however, was the service, especially the young man who was around 1.90 tall and wore a lot of silver jewelry who served me. He was always polite and very friendly towards me and you can tell how much he enjoys working with customers. I have rarely had such nice service and I immediately enjoyed eating there more. I'll come here more often from now on, as long as my wallet allows me ;)
